Shelly is a new to me author, and I throughly recommend her books. Parts of her actual life are intertwined with her stories. Shelly has a remarkable story about her life. Now on to book 2…

I chose not to finish this book. About halfway through, I felt the author was focused more on inserting a specific ideology into the reader’s mind than on the narrative itself. As an author, I believe books should carry messages, but those messages should be discovered by the reader, not forced upon them

I truly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the second in this series! Great characters, enchanting settings and unexpected twists. It’s like stepping into another world.
