It’s Summerween in Gravity Falls, and the Summerween Trickster has paid Dipper and Mabel a visit. They have to collect five hundred pieces of candy before the last jack-o’-melon goes out…or else! Can Dipper and Mabel collect enough candy to save their souls, or will they run out of time and become the Trickster’s treat?

A couple good episodes in storybook form, with stickers!

It is expectedly consummate that a show like Gravity Falls, confined to summer—too late even for Walpurgisnacht—would find a way to make a Halloween episode with Jack-o-lantern watermelons and a monster made of reject candy who just wanted to be enjoyed and savored. The Trickster longed to be consumed on Summerween, crying candy corn tears of joy at its own demise.

I’d still rather just watch the show than read narrated renditions of existing episodes, but everything about this series is outstanding and I’ll take what I can get.

Використала книжку на тематичному тижні "Ґравіті Фолз" у школі. Учням дуже сподобалася! Частина реплік у книжечці подана як у коміксі. Частина - як в оповіданні/повісті/романі. Тож ми обговорювали особливості структури тексту.
Також наприкінці тематичного тижня всі, хто активно брав участь у ньому, отримали наліпки з книжки й були з того дуже щасливі!
(Наліпки такі ж, як і в "Цілодобовій крамничці... жахів").

As someone who love Gravity Falls I enjoyed these mini “episodes” a lot. Maybe it’s time for a rewatch.

One of my favorite scenes:

“I just felt like I was getting a little too old to go trick-or-treating.”

“That’s exactly why we need to go trick-or-treating! We’re getting older. There’s not that many Summerweens left.”

Growing up is a scam. Wag kayo magmadali lumaki. Mas masaya maging bata 😂😂

I got this for my husband for his love of the TV series Gravity Falls and Halloween. He has a large amount of decor for spooky season and wanted to add this to his collection. But upon reading this myself, as I am too a fan of the series and holiday, I want to have my own Summerween party complete with JackOmelon’s, candy and a live reading of this book. Readers wear costumes of their characters and everyone else wears their own costume for the party. Good idea, or GREAT idea? 🎃🍉

Great fun

The story doesn't have all of the plot elements from the episode, but it is fun. It sticks to the Dipper-Mable story with Grunkle Stan having almost no appearance, but the are is great.

Tavsiye ederim. Küçük çocuklarınıza da gönül rahatlığıyla alabilirsiniz.
