I started this series in 2023

She is working as a concierge at the Pearl Sands Beach Resort. They have a large number of people coming for a film opening. The stars of the film arrive and the fun begins.

I would recommend this series and author to readers of family and friends relationships adventure novels. 2024

An unusual mystery for a cozy but just as enthralling. Charlie makes a relatable heroine and I've become close to her posse of secondary characters who provide much needed backup and comic relief. I do think it would be best to read the books in this series in order for the character development and unique relationships. We've been skirting around the threat of a dreaded Love Triangle, but I think that has finally been laid to rest in this book. Still no romance, but solid friendships developing.

And that's one of the strengths in this series -- the true to life characters are so appealing. The dialogue is natural, emotions realistic and I feel part of the gang when I'm visiting Pearl Sands. Which is saying something since I am totally NOT a resort kind of person. Love the way the author brings the hotel and the area to vibrant life with her descriptions.

The mystery was complicated and intriguing and not the typical fare for a cozy which was fun. The fourth Pearl Sands Beach Resort book can't come out fast enough for me!

Great book!!!!

I love this series!!!!
As Charlie and Juliana are getting the Pearl Sands Beach Resort's ballroom ready for part of the premier week of the movie "A Night of Starlight". They have a few weeks before the events. With a couple of weeks to go they hear about a series of cat burglaries in the area of houses that should be impenetrable. Detective Sophia Perez is assigned to investigate, she has a meeting with Charlie, then discuss the plans with Ben the security manager.
Well the opening event doesn't go well, when the lights go out and someone yells " I HAVE BEEN ROBBED!"
Now Charlie and Det. Sophia have a mess of suspects to sort through to find out WHO? WHY? and HOW?
Now you have to get this book to find out what mess they have to go through!!!!
You won't be disappointed!!!!

needs proof reading

There are many silly typos in this kindle. Most notably, Valentina changing to Valerie and also, Valentia. At first it was confusing because I had to go back and reread to make sure I hadn’t missed some thing, thinking that they threw another character in there and I missed it. But then I realized there’s just a lot of typos, and I tried to highlight all that I could. Desperately needs proofreading – I volunteer tribute!

I like the series but the errors are horrible. At one point even one of the names of the characters was changed and then changed back. Misspellings are awful. I have noticed this with all of these books.

Please fire your proof reader. There were so many errors it was ridiculous. The name Pearl Sands was not always correct.
