HUNTED BY THE PACK, PART TWO! The four potential mutant recruits known as the OUTLIERS are the target of a new, vicious and unstoppable anti-mutant weapon initiative, a cold-hearted pack of tracking Sentinels based on dogs, who use their enhanced senses and chainsaw-like teeth to hunt down and KILL mutants! Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, as the Outliers face...the bone-chilling BLOODHOUNDS!

Maybe even 4.5. This issue hit a lot of the right notes.
We had emotional moments of people saving people. Sometimes we were watching the new mutant recruits saving each other, and sometimes we saw the X-Men having positive interactions with regular humans. There was always just enough investment that it felt genuine and satisfying.
I enjoy Calico's powers, even though I don't entirely understand what they are. She uses fire a lot, and manifests flame into the shape of wings and swords and armor. Her horse is often tied to this, in a way that has not been fully explained. (Does she just have pyrokinesis that she likes to shape around her horse? Does she just have a psychic connection to the horse, or is she truly giving the horse powers of its own?)
Speaking as an EMT, the technique to treat the tension pneumothorax was wrong. She cut way, way too high. You make the incision down low, towards the bottom of the lung. Not that I have ever done it, but that's how I was taught about it in class.
A new mutant was introduced (or, revealed, rather) in this issue.
This is, possibly, the best of the current X books.
These issues and this series just doesn’t miss not even a LITTLE BIT.
Nightcrawler is finally feeling the love and working with Rogue’s crew. The kids are fending off the dogs from the last issue and handled it with amazing tact. The OGs of Wolverine and Jubilee came in clutch as well. But this was beautiful written and set up to lead right into X-Manhunt.
I wish they didn’t spread it across so many different titles, but I will read.
All in all, this issue was easily 4.3/5 stars. Not the best, but this is just trending to be one of the best comics I’ve read so far.
I only give this 4 stars because of Mr&Mrs.Lebeau had a very very beautiful moment together at the end which I truly truly loved and that moment means everything to me I admit and I hope to GOD we get more moments of Mr&Mrs.Lebeau before Uncanny ends..
Weren't Rogue and Remy supposed to be supervising these kids instead of having them fend for themselves. Good thing Kurt and Logan had some parental instincts.
