A new school. A new team. And the… Right Pucking Daddy?
I slept with my coach!
I just transferred to a new school. I needed to be focused on the game and bonding with my new team. Instead, all I thought about was what I was missing… a Daddy. But not just any Daddy. One who got that I didn’t regress, that I loved wearing makeup, and that hockey was life.
My best friend finally convinced me to take a walk on the wild side.
That was where things went wrong.
The Daddy of my dreams walked into the club. He was everything I dreamed of. He even liked my eyeliner and lip gloss. But after one incredible night, I discovered that the sexy silver fox Daddy wasn’t just Alex. He was The Storm, a.k.a. Sasha Storm, former NHL superstar and newly appointed head coach for the Manchester Maulers—the team I now play for.
What could be worse than sleeping with your coach?
The coach is friends with your dad.

Right Pucking Daddy is a Daddy kink, best friend’s son, age gap romance featuring a coach who hid from the world to lick his wounds after being forced into retirement and a boy who isn’t interested in regression, but loves lip gloss and eyeliner and dreams of being a professional hockey player.
Sara identifies as a geek and an extroverted introvert. She loves being out in a crowd and having a good time, but getting her there can be a pain.
Most of the time, you will find her nose buried in her phone, reading or rereading a book. Besides a good book, Sara loves technology, building things, and learning as much as possible about almost any subject. Sara believes there can never be too much romance in this world and reads romance from all angles and facets of life, which makes Sara an ALLY to all, and she wants her books to show that.
She’s a wife and mom of three kids, two dogs, and two cats—a lover of baseball, hockey, motorcycles, spin classes, and roller coasters.
Aiden was homeless when Coach and his wife found him in their hockey arena. They saved him, kept him and made him their son. When he goes to college and plays hockey, his new coach is Sasha, a disabled former player who is friends with his Dad Aiden and Sasha meet at a Daddy/Boy club, not knowing who each other are and will be to each other. It's hot and steamy with that touch of forbidden in the relationship. Aiden needs a Daddy and Sasha needs his boy and both can't keep their hands off each other. It's a wonder they don't melt the ice with the heat they have. I loved Sasha's service dog also. I received a copy of this through BookSprout and this is my voluntary opinion.
This was so sweet and cute. I enjoyed reading this. It was a really light read. This was my first book from this author and it definitely will not be my last. Sasha was like a dream, he was so possessive. I was living for it.
I received this book from Booksprout and Sara Hurst and am leaving this review of my own free will ❤️
This is my first Sara Hurst book and I was not disappointed I Love a good Daddy/boy book but combo with hockey and I’m all the way in!! I love Sasha and Aiden. I liked that their trauma was discussed but it was not used as the reason for their kink or that is wasn’t drawn out it happened they did what they had to do to survive.
Age gap is not usually a fave of mine but it worked and the spice was great 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Hoping for some new books for characters mentioned fingers crossed 🤞🏻
This is my first ever Sara Hurst book and I admit I loved it. This story had everything I love trope wise: hockey, age gap, daddy/boy kink and dad’s best friend.
Aiden was abandoned by his father after the death of his mother. After being abused by his foster father, he leaves and ends up in the streets where he was beaten and bullied.
My heart dropped at the beginning when Aiden was being chased. Then when Mikal found him in his rink, I thought he would be just like the other crappy men in Aiden’s life. But luck was finally on his side and Mikal and his wife took him in and taught him how to play hockey.
Aiden was such a beautiful character. He didn’t trust easily but he didn’t take for granted the second chance life gave him. He didn’t let the past define him. He wanted everything he achieved to be on his own merit and he succeeded. He didn’t want having a famous father to be the reason he got into the NHL.
Sasha was an NHL legend whose career was cut short after an accident that left him partly blind and deaf. He became a recluse and cut ties with the outside world.
It isn’t until his best friend suggests he takes the coaching job at his old school that Sasha comes out of hiding. Sasha also didn’t let his past define him even though it took him years to come to terms with the aftermath of his accident.
He decided to see what happened to him as a blessing in disguise. Without that accident he wouldn’t have Aiden and that’s all he ever wanted, to find a forever boy.
My favorite part of this story? It was super low angst and drama free. There were no ‘you need to stay away from my son’ moments. Sasha made it clear to everybody he would not give up on Aiden.
Gay, age-gap, lifestyle (DD/lb) and college student-coach romance; almost 5 stars! This Daddy Dom/little boy romance surprised me in several ways. Its plotting was perfect; the author writes it so that the conflict could have gone in different directions. I enjoyed the direction she took us. The humor in the book came out of nowhere; then it just hits you. Loved the characters; we are introduced to others for whom I hope she writes a book. And lastly, age-gap romance is one of my favorites; Sasha Storm aka Alex is 36yo and I am guessing that Aiden is roughly 20yo. We first meet Aiden as he is running away from a gang of guys. He picks the lock of a business, spends the night. He has been running for a long time. Mother died, father just up and left, leaving Aiden to go into foster care which was very, very bad. But fate has other plans for our 15yo boy. He meets Mikal who gives him a choice: go with his blessing or stay and he and his wife will make sure he is taken care of. Fast forward and Aiden is transferring to Mikal’s alma mater for their ice hockey program and an opportunity to get into the NHL. His wealthy friend gifted Aiden with a membership to the local BDSM club, EDGE; after much convincing to go in, he meets Daddy Alex who the next morning he finds out is his new ice hockey college coach! What happens next will comprise the bulk of the story. If you like anything that I have said in laying out the premise, you will want to read this book. Both Daddy Alex and little boy Aiden have had hard times so their finding one another is especially sweet. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Big thanks to @sarahurstwrites for opportunity to arc read her latest release and it was a hockey trope so I was all over this.
I was genuinely impressed by this novel, especially with how Aiden’s story was introduced. His traumatic childhood was portrayed with nuance and care, particularly in the way it shaped his approach to intimacy. It was both thought-provoking and deeply realistic, offering insight into the emotional complexities that linger into adulthood.
The representation of disability through the character Alex/Storm was refreshingly well done. Rather than falling into the usual tropes of victimhood or asexuality often seen in fiction, this portrayal was empowering, authentic, and confidently sensual. It was clear the author put thought into challenging stereotypes in a respectful and engaging way.
Though I don’t typically gravitate toward age-gap romances, Sarah completely won me over. The dynamic between the characters flipped some familiar power roles in really interesting ways. The submissive character held a surprising amount of control, making the relationship feel balanced, empowered, and often lip-bitingly spicy, never crude, but definitely intense.
At times, the pacing did feel a little uneven, some scenes lingered longer than they needed to, while others left me wishing for just a bit more. Still, it didn’t pull me out of the story; if anything, it kept me eagerly turning pages to see what came next.
The supporting cast also deserves a mention. A few side characters had such intriguing glimpses of depth that I’d love to see them fleshed out in future books. Their personalities added richness to the story and left me wanting more
𝗠𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁…
All the secret flirting by winks, lip biting and ‘yes daddy’ moments that drive Alex crazy.
I really enjoyed this one! I loved getting to know Alex and Aiden. This does have the Dad’s best friend trope but it doesn’t play a huge part in the story as the characters don’t know for majority of it (totally explained in book) though the reader does. It does have the daddy kink and age gap which absolutely plays a part as well as coach and player. I thought that these were all handled well and done right. I am not super into the daddy/little kink but don’t have a problem with it at times. This one was done well where Aiden does not regress too far and he likes more of the control in the bedroom and wants to feel secure in having somebody there to help out with decisions that have his best interest at heart. It makes complete sense with what he went through as a child/young teen before finding a safe house and adults that adopted him at 15. He doesn’t lose complete autonomy though. Hockey plays a big part in this as well at a college level. Alex is an ex pro hockey player and after an injury his career was over with permanent damage. Years later he finally takes a coaching job and comes out of isolation. He meets Aiden at a kink club on a dadd/little night and they absolutely hit things off and things are looking perfect until it comes out with the coach/player issue. They then have to figure out how to navigate that and what they are willing to accept and not. I really enjoyed Aiden and Alex’s dynamic. They really did fit so well together. I enjoyed watching them work out the obstacles in front of them and figuring out what worked for them and what they needed. This was an easy and entertaining read. I had a lot of fun with it. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Alex (aka Sasha Storm) former NHL star and Aiden the 20 year old current hockey star meet when they both move to Manchester U because of the sport- Alex got convinced to coach the team Aiden plays for.
They don’t know each other and meet one night (before training starts) at the local kink club.
Oh I enjoyed all the scenes there - I haven’t read many books yet with the storyline at the actual club - love that people who share the passion of a lifestyle, hang out there, make friends, do scenes and just feel safe and satisfied.
Aiden and Alex can’t take their eyes off each other and spent a night at the club. Both knew after that night that they found what they have been looking for. When bratty boy Aiden finds out that his perfect silver fox daddy is his new coach he his devastated and close to tears. They both know they can’t be together. Alex don’t want anybody else and tries very hard to resist - but true love is hard to resist… so after long pining, thank god they find a way to be together 😍
It was so much fun reading their lovely story - as is the big bulky former marines club owner and the banter with Alex - it was a hoot! Oh and let’s not forget Hawk - Alex‘s service dog. He is amazing and also loves Aiden instantly… me too by the way!
I’m very sad that the book is over - I need more stories from Aiden & Alex and all the other daddy‘s and littles and players from this book. 🥰 5 stars ⭐️
Once again, Sara Hurst brings us an incredible book. She kills it every single time. There hasn't been a book of hers yet that I haven't loved in some way. This book ticked all of my boxes, and I flew through it. Literally.
Aiden and Sasha's (Alex) love story is definitely one for the trophy shelf. Their relationship, while forbidden, exploded like fireworks. When you know something is meant for you, all you can do is hold on and enjoy the ride. I loved getting to know these characters and seeing how their relationship evolved. I loved that Aiden didn't treat Sasha any different after he realized who he was and his injuries he had. Even the hockey team treated him as any other coach.
My favorite part would have to be when Aiden's dad found out. Yes, he was angry, but he also recognized that Sasha made Aiden feel safe and loved. That was more important to him than anything else.
Sara Hurst is easily one of my top favorite authors, and I'm so glad I get the opportunity to read and enjoy her books. She always brings something exciting to the table and I can't wait to see what she has coming up next.
Aiden is so precious and deserves the world. He made a better life for himself. With people that love and care for him unconditionally. I like that he got the help he needed. Also knows what he wants in his life. He works so hard to have everything he dreams of. His partner Sasha is always there to make sure he’s fine. Also wants him to succeed in his dreams. The trust they have shared is amazing. Because they are able to have the daddy Dom relationship. Sasha after losing his career, he became a shut in now found his purpose in life again. I like how he accepts and knows what he wants. Also, he’s loving and caring to his partner. And that he’s able to rebuild friendships from his past. Then there’s Hawk he’s there for both of them. He loves them so much and he’s there for every big moment in their lives. I do like the side characters, It makes me wanna know more about them. Overall, I enjoyed Sasha and Aiden‘s story.
I enjoyed this story about Alex/Sasha and Aiden. Aiden is a college/university hockey player and Aiden is a former hockey player that had to retire due to an injury. They meet at a kink club, they're both in the DD/lb lifestyle, without regression, and click instantly, they check all each other boxes. But the following day Aiden realises that Alex is Sasha, his new coach. They try to fight their attraction and connection, but they can't. It was very entertaining, I read it in one sitting, it has a bit of angst, a bit of kink, and I would have probably liked a bit more insight and development about their pasts, more depth in their relationship, I had several times the impression of unfinished situations and conversations. I loved Hawk!
I was in a reading slump and Sara burst blew me away. This book I could not set down!! I read 60% of in in one sitting because I was so desperate to know what happened next the relationships in this book were wild and everywhere you read more and more people were apart of this exclusive club! And Alex and Aiden’s relationship just got trickier and tricker as more layers and people found out. This book was all things spicey and if you are a daddy lover or a MM reader you will love this book. The back and fourth POV is written so well. I am very picky with it because it can get confusing, but Sarah writes it in the way that makes total sense. I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down right to the end. Aiden story was so sad but reading it right to the end, giving someone a happy ending that could’ve been nothing was amazing. I loved the love story and the hockey aspect as a Canadian who loves hockey. I loved the relationships with Aiden’s roommates as well. Over all this is a great summer read that I could not get enough of!! I am praying for the side characters to have books!
Okay, by now we should all know I'm a sucker for a daddy/boy book. Add in Sara Hurst's ability to bring together sickly sweet moments mixed with a dose of hurt/comfort and serious spice and it's utter perfection 👌.
I mean, a student and coach sleeping together before they know who the other is, AND it being his dad's best friend 😈 I'm sold. Hook, line and sinker! It definitely lived up to my own personal hype 🥹🥵. The scenes between Alex/Sasha & Aiden were soooo good 🔥. Adding in some slight angst when they realize who the other is, and it was enough to keep me on my toes but also added a layer of 'I want him anyway' that was just so possessively hot 🫠.
I seriously hope we get some more backstories for the side characters as well because I loved them all just as much as the two MC's honestly 🫣🤣. Well... maybe not as much as Hawk, the service dog, he may have been my favourite but who can fault me on that? 😘 If you love hockey romance, age gap, student/coach so therefore forbidden vibes, mixed with some hurt/comfort and of course daddy/boy then this book is definitely for you!
I've been excited to read this book ever since I saw the cover (yes, I absolutely judged the book by the cover). It was a sweet, low angst 'Oops I slept with my coach' story, with some Daddy kink in there.
Both these characters go through their own issues before meeting and their dynamic and connection is instant.
Bonus points, service floof dog! He was just the sweetest boy. I can't wait to read more from this world the author crafted.
Overall, I thought this was a good book. I think there were moments that either were too drawn out and over explained, but then there were times in the book that it felt rushed and glossed over where I could have used some additional context. I like the whole kink trope represented in this book, but some of the information probably should have been more in depth so people experiencing this trope for the first time could understand the relationships better. I would absolutely read more of Sarah’s works. Glad I had the opportunity to read and review this book. Looking forward to another one!.

I don't read too many sport romances...especially not Hockey...LOL but I do read daddy/boy romances and this was nice. Just the right amount of drama that it wasn't so angsty. Just enough realism that didn't have me questioning too much of the ins and outs of college antics and shenanigans. Aiden and Alex first encounter was intense. Their chemistry was way off the charts and them being together made sense whether if it wasn't allowed...coach/player...best friend w/son who cares...love is love and this was nice. I recommend if you like sweet...spicy hot romances that has the daddy/boy kink whether you a hockey fan or not.

Great book. The book cover has caught my eye literally. I was a steamy page turner and the suspense was so intense. The chemistry between them was literally like firework and burning flame of passion and the physical attraction was so captivating of lust and romance. They couldn't even fight the temptation any longer and the one night of passion will change their lives forever in this moment. I highly recommend this book and you won't be disappointed. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review. Trina Jones
Aiden has had a rough life growing up in the foster system. He's still so vibrant and sassy despite any setbacks. Sascha is a former hockey player now coach. He's dealing with heavy issues as well. I really enjoyed how realistically both their issues were dealt with. They had instant chemistry but took the time to develop their relationship. There is some angst and drama from Aiden's father but thankfully it's quickly resolved.
I loved Aiden in this so much. He had me won over from the moment the book started. I love the idea of him being adopted basically for breaking into a hockey rink and I love his dad for doing that. The relationship between him and Alex was hot. I loved the taboo aspect of him being his coach. But also I love the kink club. That sounds so cool!!
This book gave me all the good feelings. I just loved the instalove with Alex and Aiden, they were so smitten with each other! But then they had to keep it all a secret, I did wonder how Aiden's Tata would find out but it took it so well and I loved the support both his parents gave him.
This book is part of the Daddies of the League collection and I am here for it. Hockey romance and Daddy kink in one book😍😍😍. Doesn’t get better than that!
Instalove story between a coach - Sasha, and hockey player/student - Aiden. It took a few chapters for me to be able to settle into the story but then it was non stop reading.
Aiden’s trauma history as a foster kid who lived on the streets is important to mention. Sara Hurst handled the relationship between the effect of that trauma with the Aiden’s interest in Kink with care by outlining what is and isn’t a trigger as well as making sure the reader doesn’t make assumptions about the Kink community.
Also appreciated the disability rep with Sasha experiencing hearing and vision loss due to old hockey injury. Hawk as a sweet service dog fit perfectly into the story.
Loved watching the relationships develop between Sasha, Aiden and the folks at the BDSM club Edge. Really hope we might see Will, Ewen and Ollie get their HEAs in future books 🥰
Overall a pleasurable read. You’ll enjoy this book if you like low-angst, medium spice, Daddy/boy, age-gap, hockey romances. ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 / 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Thank you to Booksprout and Sarah Hurst for the advanced copy. I am voluntarily leaving this review.
I enjoyed this book. This is my third book by this author. Alex and Aiden’s chemistry is magnetic, the way they were drawn to each other was great. I really liked how Alex went into his new job without any preconceived notions of each player based on who their parents were. I also loved seeing some people and names from the other two books I’ve read by this author, I love shared universes!!
ARC review. My first read from Sara Hurst and what a treat. I loved it. Sasha and Aiden couldn't be more perfect for each other and it was a delight watching their relationship develope the way it did. From the first moment they met, instantly having a strong chemistry and supporting the other through both rough and good times. I loved that they were so comitted from early on and how they continued to grow even closer earning a HEA. I love an age-gap, low-angst, kink, daddy-boy relationship. Throw in some hockey and you've made my day. So if you agree with me dive in and enjoy a really good read. A lot of content, very well written and difficult to put down.
Right Pucking Daddy is a book in the multi-author series Daddies of the League. This is an insta-romance between a hockey coach and a player on the team. This is the first book I've read by Sara Hurst, and I am happy to say that I enjoyed it. Despite their struggles and traumas Aiden and Sasha were perfect for each other.

Great book!! I was hesitant to get it, but am so glad I did. I have been pleasantly surprised at all of Sara Hurst's books that I have read, so I guess it's not a surprise anymore.
I really enjoyed this read from Sara Hurst. I absolutely loved Alex/Sasha! After a hockey injury, he has become a recluse but is forced out of hiding by his best friend. His best friend wants him to live again and encourages him to take a coaching job and even to look for someone to spend his life with. Aiden has a traumatic past but won't let anything stand in his way of making it to the NHL. I enjoyed the relationship development between Sasha and Aiden. There is so much more to the story but I don't want to give it away so just dive in if you enjoy MM and/or sports romances!
This was such a sweet story, I loved it! I adored Sasha and Aiden's relationship, including their Daddy/boy dynamic and the age gap. It was just really well done, and I was invested from start to finish!
My thanks to the author for a review copy; opinion is my honest one.
absolutely amazing, I just loved this right from the start ❤️ This !! This is sooo good, I finished in one go, I love a good ice hockey romance and this just tucked evry box for me !!.
