Really enjoying this book, but about halfway through I had to give it a break.
It's all about different civilisations, some of which are very familiar to us, such as the Egyptians, and some which are not so familiar, such as the Hittites from the Bible. I learned a lot and was absolutely fascinated by the history and rise and fall of these civilisations.
History? Not quite. But if you're a mystery or a fantasy writer, and you need some inspiration for a quest of a lost kingdom or land, or you just need some good laugh over crazy theories, this book's for you.
