Submerge yourself in the final enthralling installment of New York Times best-selling author Kristen Proby’s The Curse of the Blood Moon series.
Torn apart by tragedy, Lorelei has kept Xander at arm’s length, focusing on her career and gifts rather than rekindling their love. But now that she’s back in Salem, she can’t avoid him and finds herself slowly softening toward the man she’s loved all of her life. However, the witch hunter they’ve been fighting still hasn’t been vanquished. Between that and breaking the curse of the Blood Moon, now is not the best time for her to give the sexy Xander another try.
Despite Lora pushing him away, Xander has never stopped loving her. But now that the stakes are higher with evil threatening them more than ever, he is done giving her time and space. With the curse that Jonas put into place long ago creating havoc with the innocent residents of Salem, the core six, their coven, and the witches from Hallows End need to work together to overcome true wickedness.
Will Xander and Lora find themselves once again amid these stormy seas and their recent separation? Or will evil reign, throwing the core six, Salem, and Hallows End into unimaginable peril?

I finally read the 3rd book from "The Curse of the Blood Moon" series. I waited for so long for Xander's and Lorelei's books. I have loved them as a couple since book one.
In "Salem's song" we finally find the reason why they separated a couple of years ago. Now, they still love each other madly, but are afraid to be together again, because the hurt is still there. Lorelei's revelation about what happened with Xander was quite shocking. I understood the pain she had suffered, but in the meantime, Xander was hurting too. That's not all...danger still lurks around them and their loved ones. But they have to be like one in order to win.
I am so happy that Lorelei decided that even though the hurt and pain she got through, she still wanted to be with Xander forever. After all, they are true soulmates. When they finally decided to overcome this, their relationship developed really easily. It was like they were never apart. They deserved their happy ending 100%. And they beat the evil person that played with them for so long.
In the end, love and goodness triumphed.
Overall, I loved this book.
***I received an ARC from Valentine PR and this is my voluntary review.*
Salems Song is the third and I believe last book in the The Curse of the Blood Moon series by Kristen Proby. Each book is about a different couple but the storyline runs throughout the series so you will need to start from the beginning.
Three years ago Lorelei made the sudden move to California. She left her family and her soulmate behind. While gone she was able to avoid Xander and all the questions about their love life from her cousins but now, she was back. She could no longer keep them at an arm’s length. She was there to lift a curse and fight the unknown. She wasn’t there to fight for their love but Xander had other plans…
Xander has loved Lorelei his entire life. She is all he sees. He knows she has been avoiding him over the last three years, he gets it but he can no longer stay away. He needs to protect her. He needs to be close to do just that. He will not push her but he will just to show her that she can trust him and just in their love. It’s real and it will never go away.
Will the core six lift the curse of the blood moon? Will Xander and Lorelei find their way back to each other? Will they defeat the unknown once and for all?
I loved this couple and these series. Xander and Lorelei’s love runs deep but not without heartache. It’s one emotional ride. It’s also sexy, fun, and suspenseful. The whole series is just fantastic.
The last installment in the Curse of the Blood Moon series is here!! And what a whirlwind it has been!!
After thinking the 6 best friends are rid of 𝑖𝑡, they soon realize they are not! Because 𝑖𝑡 is still prominent in their lives and they need to lift the curse to free the people from Hallows End.
In this book, 𝑖𝑡 focuses on Lorelei and Xander. They are having a past together, and none of the others know why their relationship has ended. But being targeted by 𝑖𝑡, Lorelei and Xander realize they need to stick together to fight against the mysterious 𝑖𝑡.
I had goosebumps reading this book, especially towards the end while lots of magic was happening! It’s all described wonderfully and vividly, and I felt like being a part of the coven!
Such a wonderful series! Even tho I’m not a paranormal reader per se, but this series had me hooked and I could hardly wait for the next book to come out! I’ll miss all these wonderful people, they will always have a magical place in my heart!
I kindly received an arc and voluntarily left a review.
Salems Song (The Curse of the Blood Moon, #3) by Kristen Proby 4 stars Second chance romance Triggers: Hidden because it contains spoilers. I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.
This book begins where Book 2 leaves off. They've defeated the "thing" once again, but everyone knows that this isn't over.
Lorelei and Xander have kept their distance for years, despite their souls calling out to one another. With nothing to really go on, their friends just aren't sure how to help these two fix their broken relationship. Everyone knows that these two are meant to be together.
Xander has been trying for years to fix what was broken between him and Lorelei, but she's stubborn and holding on to their distance like a shield. Now, with danger lurking in literally any corner, Xander knows this is it. He either hovers and protects her without her approval and risks ever repairing their relationship or he lets others protect her, despite his instincts.
With the curse still looming and new, more dangerous revelations, it will take everyone's knowledge, everyone's love and even forgiveness to fight this demon and lift the curse.
Twists, turns, betrayals and secret messages will make this story exciting, fast paced and super fun to read. It's a great story for around Halloween and although I wish the ending were even more drawn out to see a more complete epilogue, I loved how this all came together.
This is the final book in the Curse of the Blood Moon series, and what a beautiful, incredible ending to this trilogy.
“You’re stuck with me forever. You’re mine in all lifetimes and all the time in between.”
Lorelei and Xander's story is filled with a love that runs deep but hurt and heartache that stems from past trauma. Their book is definitely emotional, sexy, suspenseful that I couldn't put it down, well, more like I didn't want to put it down!
“I don’t believe in better halves. Yeah, I don’t believe that because we’re whole people by ourselves. But she’s the best part of every day. My life doesn’t work without her in it. If I didn’t know better, I’d say she hung the moon.”
I loved that this one was filled with characters from the previous books, and the family bond is such a big part of the story. It pulls you in and makes you feel, makes you love, and makes you sad that it's over!
This is the conclusion to this gripping trilogy and what a conclusion it was! I'm sad to see this series go but I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will see more PNR from Kristen.
We finally get some answers that we have been waiting for and wow some were quite surprising. When I started this one I was apprehensive to start it as i knew this was the conclusion and I didn't want it to end but once I started I was hooked!
I really loved Lorelei and Xander. Their feelings are so strong for each other but together will they be strong enough to lift the curse surrounding them all. I think out of the three couples in this series these two are my favourites. Kristen saved the best for last.
What an amazing series.
I was gifted a copy of this book by the Author and this is my honest opinion
Salems Song is the last book in The Curse of the Blood Moon series and is meant to be read in order. After book two (Cauldrons Call), the witches think they have defeated the evil that lurks and they can go on with their lives. But not so fast. A beautiful song plays, luring our Sea Witch, Lorelei to the water. Luckily, Xander is there to always protect the woman he loves, even when she has pushed him away. Lorelei and Xander are fated, but with a troubling past they share, Lora focuses on her craft and trying to fight any lingering feelings she has for Xander. But the evil that lurks around them brings the crew together again to defeat it.
I wanted to love Salems Song since it was the last book and was wrapping everything up. Unfortunately I felt the story itself was too short and didn't focus too much on the pair as a couple. Perhaps because they had enough of a past I was supposed to just accept them? I'm not sure. But I wanted more from the finale. As for the narration on the audiobook? Fantastic! Sebastian York and Samantha Brentmoor were fantastic. They captured the characters in their performances and brought the story to life. Overall, great listen for the audio, but the overall story was just ok.
How does one rate or review such a perfect culmination of a story? Salems Song is the third and final installment of the Curse of the Blood Moon trilogy by Kristen Proby. And what a wrap-up it is. This is hands down my favorite paranormal romance by this author (and I have loved all of them). I can’t help but love the angst of second-chance romance…the fated lovers who screwed it up once and who can neither let each other in nor let the other go. Lorelei and Xander are no exception. Fated to be part of the six, watching these two work their way back to each other is a lesson in patience and true, undying love.
One of my favorite things about Kristen Proby’s heroines is that they are no damsels in distress. The three women at the core of this trilogy are strong, take charge, powerful women. They are made stronger by the men they love but they don’t require the men to be strong. This strong sisterhood is, at its core, about the power they build up in each other, in support, in love, in sharing their gifts. It’s by far my favorite thing about this story…though the romance isn’t half bad either (lol). As always, the passion between Lora and Xander will burn up the sheets. But it’s the core of family, friends, and working together to break the curse that will leave you wanting more!
Salem's Song was a quick ending to a paranormal/soulmates series. Each books are standalones romances but with an overarching plot. This book focuses on Lorelei and Xander. While I enjoyed the story, it went too quickly. The romance is solid, the plot is solid, but I wanted more out at the series.
I finally got this series finished. It's taken me awhile. I really enjoyed this whole series.
I was excited for this book becaue Lorelai was always my favorite reading the first two books. And she did not disappoint. I also love the ocean and mermaids so I just loved her as a whole. She is fierce and independent and has guards up high and thick which I also fully relate too.
Xander. He is the man. Oh my goodness. I love how strong and protective he is over Lora but also how he can melt for her and just how much he truly truly loves her.
I loved the book and the plot but I was a little underwhelmed with the conclusion and how the villian was defeated. I guess I just thought it would be a little more since the entire series was leading up to it. But I did absolutley love the epilogue brought tears to my eyes. It was the perfect conclusion to this series.
The last installment in the trilogy, this is Xander and Laura's story. All of the favorite characters from the previous books are back as they come together to fight the evil and curse upon them and the Hollow. I feel as if this story was rather rushed, and I was supposed to believe that Xander and Laura automatically are back together after years of separation and bickering back and forth. I enjoyed the ending, but I wish there was something more to the story.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
The audio version was terrific, Samantha Brentmoor and Sebastian York never disappoint. I’m so sad that this was the last installment. I have grown to love all the characters and I cried at the end. This series had all the feels. Terrific storyline.
The powerful, emotional ending that follows Xander and Lorelei as they fight for a future full happiness and love for them and all the people of Hallows End. Incredible conclusion that had me in tears!
This book was the perfect ending to the series. We finally get to the bottom of the rift between Lorelei and Xander and with the help of the Salem coven the curse of Hallows End is finally broken.
Lorelei's back and this time, Xander's determined to stand by her, be with her, and above all, protect her. Though they and their friends thought they had gotten rid of "it," they were very wrong, and it's back, determined to wreak its havoc on them. Can they finally banish it for good? And can Xander ever find out why Lorelei left him, and keep her with him now?
"You're mine in all lifetimes and all the time in between."
Xander and Lorelei were destined, truly destined, to be together. They, or rather, Lorelei, took some time coming to this realization. Xander always knew, always loved, her, but it took her finally coming home, and them working together, before she came clean as to why she had left. Amidst the personal turmoil, of course, is the ongoing battle with the force that's been haunting them. I love the way the whole group works together to fix this problem, warring against the seriously creepy thing that's been after them for so long. I don't read a lot of paranormal fiction anymore, but I can honestly say this series and Kristen's other paranormal series, are two of my favorites of the genre.

Ruthie – ☆☆☆☆ This is third and final book in the series, and you most definitely need to read this in order, or you will not only miss some great storytelling, but really not understand what is happening! I loved how we have a mystery which crosses over time, which reminds us of the Salem Witch Trials, but brings it right up to date too. And best of all, finally we learn why things went wrong between Lorelei and Xander, and how good the future may be.
We have known from the beginning that these two should be together, but clearly there is a barrier making that impossible – it is incredibly frustrating for Xander, who has no idea what happened to break them. As things get more and more intense in the battle to end the 'thing,' Lora finally has to admit that her friends and family should know what led her to leave town. She learns a valuable lesson about what being a friend really means, as they all forgive her, but express their disappointment at not being able to help.
There is a level of tension which has been building throughout the series, but I think we were all pretty confident that things would be resolved to the good – these couples, their families, and covens have to be stronger than evil... otherwise, what would the world be like?
I have very much enjoyed this trilogy – Kristen Proby has secured her status as a talented paranormal author as well as a fabulous romance storyteller.

It was so much fun being back with my favorite witches in the town of Salem. Also, how freaking gorgeous is that cover.. Ahhh.. I loved it. What made it all the more special is alongside our main storyline to finding the magic for defeating the great evil, we finally get to see what happened Lorelei and Xander to make them drift apart.
First off, this one was packed with sweet moments with the family, lots of love and lots of magic and being on a quest of not only defeating once and for all the evil that's been wrecking havoc on all their lives, but also to find a way to break the curse of the blood moon.
Lorelei hated Xander as we have seen from previous books and even though there is palpable chemistry and passion between these yet it had me questioning time and again as to why Lorelei couldn't stand the sight of Xander.
I felt for them and what they had to go through but my heart absolutely right melted and loved the fact that Xander never gave up on the gorgeous sea witch.
Once again Lucy and Jonas alongwith Breena and Giles with Lorelei and Xander race against time to once and for all find the cure spell to rid their families of the unknown evil.
But what will happen now that the evil is trying to attack their through their fears. Also, what is the mysterious music that keeps on luring Lorelei and now Xander has to make sure he's lady is protected no matter what.
I was utterly fascinated with how each and every member of the coven works together as a family and is also there at a minute's notice to deliver their help whenever needed.
The love between them families and their magical potions, spells, apothecary, crystals and shape shifting and so much more happening once again kept me thoroughly entertained and so invested and engrossed with all that was happening.
Ahhh... I'm going to miss this series so freaking much, I can't even say. Loved loved this one. ❤️❤️❤️

The final book in this Curse of the Blood Moon trilogy, we're back in Salem with this last book based around Lorelei and Xander, who used to be a couple but something happened that caused a rift between them and Lorelei left, now she's back and she's been busy with her sisters and the rest of the coven in an attempt to lift the curse on Hallow's End, as well as dealing with the evil entity still roaming around killing the witches.
Breena is busy trying to get the tapestry finished in time to hopefully lift the curse working as a team with the rest of the coven. But the evil entity they thought they had banished in the last book appears to still be causing them a problem and growing in strength, playing nasty tricks on them, trying to weaken them.
Lorelei is finding it difficult to keep Xander at arms length since she's been back to her hometown. Xander is still obviously in love with her, but is hurt and angry and tries to keep his distance, whilst at the same time being determined to keep Lorelei safe. She eventually has a heart to heart with her sisters and we find out what caused the rift, and I really do feel sorry for Xander! But their chemistry is still very much there, they just have to move on and work on their trust again, as Xander is determined to keep close to Lorelei as the evil stalks them again.
I loved the family connection with this series and how well their whole community pulls together. Loved the witchy supernatural side of things in this series, from the shop, to the potions, to the different specialisations of the witches, the spells and the incantations. This has been a great series from Kristen and would recommend it to any PNR / witch fans.
Salems Song is the third and final book in the Curse of the Blood Moon series by Kristen Proby, featuring Lorelei and Xander’s story and the epic finale of the overarching suspense plot. From the beginning of the series, I’ve been curious about what happened between this fated couple to tear them apart so completely, so I was sooo ready for this book! But when I finally read the reason for their split, my heart broke for both of them on one hand, and on the other hand I was frustrated with Lorelei. You’ll get it when you read. It just didn’t fit the way I had built it up in my mind at all.
As with the other books, the world building was top notch, with phenomenal imagery and paranormal effects, drama, action, emotion, passion, and love. Every twist, turn, and ripple of the elements had me riveted to the pages. The originality of the plot twists in this series have been seriously impressive, and this book is definitely the best one! Fated couples are definitely stronger together, and Xander and Lorelei are fiery when they give into their true desire!!🔥🔥 Xander had me swooning throughout the book, and he was an awesome leader. I loved the bond of the 6 as they worked toward their goal, and the end of the story was perfection, topped off with the sweetest icing of the epilogue!😍 I’m kind of sad that I won’t be seeing these characters anymore, to be honest.
I received an ARC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
NICUnurse’s Rating for Salems Song: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭑ (4.5) Rating for Curse of the Blood Moon series as a whole: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭑ (4.5)
I’ve been a long-time fan of Kristen Proby and will probably always be a fan of her writing. This book concludes her Curse of the Blood Moon series. None of the books do well as standalone titles, but I highly recommend this trilogy, especially as we just kicked off spooky season. For a long time, I wasn’t much of a paranormal romance fan, but lately, I’ve been gobbling them up like a starving woman. While I felt Hallows End was missing a few elements to take it to a 5-star level, she brought it (and then some!) with Cauldrons Call. It was faster-paced, with more paranormal and suspense/mystery elements, which had me turning the pages almost faster than I could read them. I love how she also added the area's history into each book.
In rounding out this series, I have to say I felt slightly let down by the paranormal aspect of this one. It just didn’t hit the high notes of the previous title. However (and it’s a big however), Ms. Proby upped the ante in the emotional rollercoaster area in a big way with Salems Song. And it’s a second-chance romance, which is my favorite trope. Xander and Lorelei are angsty yet full of chemistry, and I was more enamored with their backstory revelation than in the paranormal arc. While I know all of my favorite authors won’t always write books that are 5-star reads for me, and I’m definitely not walking away from calling myself a fan, I did miss the fast-paced paranormal plot we saw in book two. I’m most definitely excited to see what Kristen Proby brings us next in this paranormal romance genre.
OUTSTANDING!!! ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! OMG, how my heart is beyond joyful!!! Salem's Song is everything I had hoped and longed for, and then some. Xander and Lorelei are the very definition of soulmates, and I was here for every second of it. *happy sigh* I'll try not to spoil anything here, because this series truly needs to be experienced in all its glory, and going in blind is the best way to LIVE it, along with the characters. Not only is this series a MUST read, but this book... WOW it's the epitome of witchy romance, and the BEST of this wonderful series. Something that truly captivated me in Salem's Song, was the fact that not only was Xander an swoon worthy male character, and all I want and crave in a romance hero, but also a witch himself! That was so unique and so well portrayed, that it added an extra charm to the book.
Xander and Lorelei's love story is the perfect amount of emotional, sexy, steamy and intriguing. You know those love stories for the ages?! That's what I felt after finishing Salem's Song, that this tale with stay with me forever, and at the end of the day, isn't this what we all want, an amazing story that I will remember forever. Eternal love in every sense of the word!
"I’ve loved you for my entire godsdamn life. My heart only beats because I know you’re in this world, and I spend every moment of every day wishing for you.”
“You’re mine in all lifetimes and all the time in between.”

Lorelei and Xander have known forever that they are destined to be with one another. Their magic called to each other, was intensified by each other. Something hurt them both greatly, and has faltered the foundation of what they should be. The Curse of the Blood Moon is hanging over their heads, and something evil just keeps coming at them. Threatening everyone, they know, and love. Lorelei and Xander have to work together along with their friends and cousins to see this through and erase this curse. Danger is around every corner pushing Lorelei and Xander into close proximity. It’s like their souls are calling to one another, but they have to heal that hurt to able to move forward.
Salems Song is the perfect read to begin the spooky time of year. The conclusion of The Curse of the Blood Moon Series was magical. We get an amazing story that is filled with family, love and hope. A story that is dangerous, daring and magical. I love that was broken and found a way to heal. Kristin Proby truly created something magical not only with this story, but with this series. These relationships are soul deep, and you are able to feel that while reading. She creates strong characters that know how to build one another up but can count on one another in their times of need. There is an epilogue at the end of Salem Song that was amazingly beautiful and had me crying rivers of happy tears. Kristin was able to beautifully show what life, love, friendship, family, and tradition should look like.
Kristen Proby’s third and final installment of The Curse of the Blood Moon series, Salem’s Song. Throughout this series Lorelei and her 2 cousins along with their significant others have been trying to break the curse and eliminate the evil being terrorizing their Coven. I absolutely loved Salem’s Song just as much as I have loved all other Kristen Proby books. Salem’s Song features soul mates, family-saga, unconditional love, paranormal, and so much love for each and every character. Xander is a very powerful watch who is the Coven leader who worries for his coven that he is not enough to protect them from the evil that threatens them. Xander is not only a witch but a shifter as well who uses his abilities to protect Lorelei but all within the coven. Xander is ruggedly handsome, solid like a brick wall, and loves with a tender heart and touch. Lorelei is a powerful sea witch who loves the sea and draws her strength from the sea. She is very close to her family but has kept secrets for years now. Will Xander be able to convince Lorelei that their love is real and meant to be forever? Sebastian York and Samantha Brentmoor bring Xander and Lorelei to life for your listening pleasure. And boy do they bring aural pleasure to your ears! Sebastian York has one of the smoothest male voices that I have ever heard. I thoroughly enjoy listening to his smooth rich and sexy voice. Samantha Brentmoor is fairly new to me but I have enjoyed listening to her. She does a great job bringing her characters to life. I love how Kristin Proby writes with so much love for her characters which makes for pure reading enjoyment and some very sexy between-the-sheets scenes. I highly recommend any reader who enjoys family-sagas, paranormal, and characters who have unconditional love for each other to read not only Salem’s Song, but the other 2 books in the Curse of the Blood Moon series. Enjoy!!
I am really hoping that Kristin Proby is going to continue her writing into these amazing paranormal romances. I have been completely in love with each and every one of them.
This book is the last book in the Curse of the Blood Moon series, and it was absolutely perfect. I always wondered throughout this series what the issue between Xander and Lorelei was after they seemed to have loved one another previously. I loved these two characters. Lorelie has an affinity to the water and Xander is not only strong in his magic and can transform into animals but is also the leader of the coven. Years ago, something happened between them, and Lorelei moved away. Now that she is back in Salem, she is struggling to stay away from him. Xander still loves her desperately and wants to keep her safe… especially now since the evil is trying to get to them through her. Thankfully, they resolve their issues and resume their everlasting love, but the entity is more than what they ever even imagined… and they are still trying to save the people in Hallows End.
This book was so fantastic, but I am afraid to say anymore in case I ruin it for others!
I wholly recommend not only this book but the whole series! Great job! Keep these types of books coming!
I received a free copy of this book via the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Salems Song, the third book in The Curse of the Blood Moon trilogy by Kristen Proby does not disappoint. It picks up right at the end of book two and brings along all the spooky witchy goodness. This is Lorelei and Xander’s story and they will need to overcome past hurts to move forward and end the curse that is holding Hallow’s End hostage and defeat the evil that wants to take someone from Xander’s coven to steal their power.
The story is fast paced, full of heat and brings all the spooky vibes that have been woven throughout this series. It is the perfect read for this time of year and really kicks off the Samhain season when the veil is most thin and all things are possible.
One of things I love best about Kristen Proby’s writing is the relationships she builds between her female characters, they are always strong and independent while lifting one another up and still being able to lean on each other when needed. This is especially true within this series as the women know that they are all stronger together. There is a great line in this book that really sums up these female friendships that says, “We are the daughters of daughters.” Now, I don’t know if that’s witchcraft or not, but it’s definitely magic.
While bittersweet because the trilogy is over, it was a fantastic series. Throughout this trilogy we have seen horrible things happen to the group of friends/family and wondered about what happened to two. This is their story and it was a doozy.
Xander and Lorelei have torn at my heartstrings throughout, mainly because you could tell that they cared for each other, but she kept pushing him away. There were times that she was downright mean to him. He just kept taking her wrath, long after I would have. Until the reason was revealed. This reason could be a trigger for some and made me feel so much for these two people.
Even though I understand her reaction, it upset me that she was still holding so much hate years later. Once the old wounds were revealed, she finally saw the error of her ways and let him back in to her life. Personally they were fantastic. If only they could break the curse and banish the evil for good.
This book has a little bit of everything and won’t let you down. I hope Ms. Proby decides to write more about this group or maybe descendants of this group in the future. I don’t normally read sci-fi/fantasy books, but this series had me hooked.
I received an ARC and this is my honest, voluntary review.
The Curse of the Blood Moon trilogy has gripped me from the first book, Hallow's End. SALEMS SONG is the final book in the trilogy and it was an emotional, fun, and suspenseful ride. As with the other books it was another mesmerizing read.
Xander and Lorelei had always been close, then she left without a word, leaving her family and Xander behind. Three years have passed, and Lorelei has returned home to help her cousins lift a curse. Xander has loved Lorelei for as long as he can remember, he's drawn to her and will do anything to keep her safe. He's also determined to fix what went wrong between them, but Lorelei is just as determined to keep her distance. Will he succeed in gaining her trust and winning her heart, once again?
With numerous twists and turns, secrets, and betrayals, this is a gripping conclusion to this trilogy. The curse still hovers and there are new dangers the core of six must face. Who will win the final battle?
Kristen Proby's first foray into the paranormal has been a huge success. I hope she continues to write more. This series is an absolute MUST READ.
Written in first person from alternating POV, this series needs to be read in publication order. Although each book contains the story of one couple, there is a plot that crosses the series leading to true happily ever afters for all of them. Book three is the second chance story of Loralei and Xander. I have been looking forward to their story and the author provides one with unexpected depth. Sensitive readers should be aware that there is a discussion of a miscarriage in the past and avoid that trigger if needed. I loved getting to know these characters. Xander proved his mettle as a hero worth loving. Loralei is feisty, but in the end, they are much more powerful together. The series comes to an end with a fantastic defeat of evil and the breaking of the curse in a wonderful way. I loved all the witchiness. I loved how fast they built trust in each other. I really loved how the coven plays such a large role in the story. I especially adored the relationship between the three cousins and the aunts. There is little spice, some suspense, and a few laughs along the way. This was a fun listen. The narrators were amazing, and the story was gripping as I made a road trip with the hubby. I finished the second half of the book reading in KU.
