HARD PASS.... I'm DNF'ing this one. The author does say there's sharing, so I was cool on some things - but to me he cheats and that's a big "no thanks". I know - it's a fine line in the BDSM/sex club type of books.

You know I have very few lines, but even this was too much for me to accept. I'm not writing a full review because I think most people will make their decision to read based on this info alone.
Arianna is 21, goes to a sex club, ends up smashing with her ex-stepdad Logan (they're both wearing masks). Logan figures it out mid-smash (during the second time they have sex during that same night). He plans to never repeat it until she says she wants him to show her more. They meet up the next week and have more hot smashing. Arianna finds out his identity and runs away. He's trying to figure out a way to get Arianna back when he gets a call from his ex-wife. The ex wants to reconcile, so she invites him to the lake house. He's going to say no until he learns Arianna will be there, he says yes. Then his brother comes into the picture and he ends up fucking Arianna!!! Then it looks like Logan feels left out so he gets drunk and he ends up fucking his ex-wife before Arianna walks in on them.
Guilt rips through me as I attempt to shield us and make myself decent. How decent can I be when she just caught me raw fucking her mom against a pool table and filling her with my cum? My cock is still inside her for Christ’s sake.

3.5⭐ I liked it. But this isn't a book for everyone, read the warnings. You'll find a forbidden romance, a significant age gap, complex family relationships that interfere with the relationship, sometimes too much, if you know what I mean.
Arianna goes to a sex club with her friends and there she meets a masked man who is not so unknown. Their attraction is immediate and their relationship will be complicated but full of good moments that will make it worthwhile.
If you don't mind all the trigger warnings, you'll like this book. It has a little bit of everything, and now I'm waiting to find out who Arianna's friends met that night at the club.

Fue una adicción este libro, pero a pesar de eso la primera mitad le sufri, estos dos tienen una gran conexión pero obvio no la van a aceptar tan pronto así que empiezan a tener relaciones con otras personas cercanos y eso no lo estaba soportando, se me hacía rarisimo por qué para empezar no estaba aportando nada a la trama y segundo no me gusta ese tipo de cosas, pero bueno después en la segunda mitad todo mejoro, estos dos aceptaron que en realidad querían estar juntos y ahí fue viento en pompa.
Aunque faltó más desarrollo de la relación, también lo de el club me hubiera gustado conocer más, es que en lugar de andar de babosos con otros la autora debió de desarrollar más las relación entre ellos para que no se sintiera rapida 😔

this was a terrible read. i loved the main concept of fudging the ex husband/stepdad! but once everyone was screwing with everyone it turned into a joke. I started this book because of one quote I saw on Instagram a week ago. Then I couldn’t put it down. I truly love me some forbidden romance with some amazing smut. I will say that the ending was absolutely bat shit crazy and didn’t need to be this rushed and this intense.

wtf was this book?? narration: duet??????? but they only did their characters voices not the other characters, we had her narrate male characters in her pov and him narrate the female characters in his pov.
it was going well until she started sleeping with the mmc’s brother at a cabin where they all were staying at, mind you the mmc went there to see her not because his ex-wife aka her mom invited him.
then she’s like you should give the attention you’re giving me to the one who wants it (her mom wants to get back with the mmc) and so he does right? WHY TF did she get angry when he did what she told him to do?????? MIND YOU SHE’S SLEEPING WITH HIS BROTHER NEXT DOOR!!!!!!
the double standards she had were insane, because you’re telling me it’s fine sleeping with his brother but when he sleeps with his ex(her mom) it’s a different story!! and I totally understand that her mom is crazy and all that but girl WHAT.
by the end of the book her mom is pregnant and she goes to tell the mmc that he’s the father, she gets upset (rightfully so) because there was no protection and all that but she was upset that he told her that if it’s his he’s gonna take care of the baby and not abandon it.
“So you’re upset with him because he’s not a piece of shit? That he wouldn’t ignore a child he fathered just because the mother is batshit?” Well, when he puts it like that.
“No. I’m mad that he stuck his dick in my fucking mother in the first place.”
“I’m not saying this to be hurtful, babe, but you did tell him to do that. You pushed him away, and in a moment of weakness, he did what you said, what you told him you wanted.”

Idk how to feel ngl. Like the spice and smut did what it needed to do, but the plot fell short for me. I honestly think it was because of the fmc. I get the internal battle of her situation, however adding Tyson to the mix wasn’t needed at all and I felt bad for him in the end. Yes it was a hea, but it took me a bit to get through this because I felt like we kept having the same conversation in different ways. Still love my author girl tho this was just my personal take, but her books always eat.

One Night Seduction by Katelyn Taylor is the first book in the One Night Series. Katelyn will forever be one of my favourite authors. She always delivers and creates a unique world and experience. This was on the lighter side of stories, so if you are used to Graves or The Gallows Hills Series, this book will not have the dark element. However, it is full of rollercoaster moments and twists and turns. Let's say this story belongs in a movie!
The taboo aspect of this story is absolutely delicious, and I ate it up! Ex stepdad! Yes, yes, give me more!!! If there was one thing I wished was a bit prolonged, it was the mystery of their identity to each other; however, the story makes more sense the way it is!
I have enjoyed this short story, it had me hooked right from the beginning! It's hot AF and having a pierced MMC is the cherry on top of the cake, make him older and a taboo daddy! Hell yessssssss! Katelyn you are the fairy godmother and nothing you will ever write won’t have its own magic and such an impact on the readers!
Audiobook: performed by two of my absolute favourite voices Amy Hall and Sean Masters, they didn't disappoint! This audiobook had all the love poured into it, from the story to the performance and all the emotions!

This was a WILD ride. Pure chaos and absolutely insane at times. But this book will have you turning the pages to see what will happen next. And the spice is delicious! I absolutely love Logan and how will go after what he wants! And then Ari isn't afraid to be herself and I'm 100% for it! Cannot wait to see what the next book gives us!

one of my double standards is that i couldn’t care less about reading sex scenes of the FMC with people other than the MMC, but i HATE reading scenes of the MMC with other people (probably because this genre is absolutely riddled with virgin/celibate FMC + manwhore MMC combos, and i dgaf about FMCs getting theirs at this point). once we started getting graphic sex scenes of the MMC with another woman (the FMC’s MOM 😭), i had to nope the fuck out 👋🏼

Holy fu*k. I fall in love with every book Katelyn writes, okay.
The very first chapter of this book is going to suck you up and swallow you whole.. like Arianna does Logan 😏
We start off with Ari and her two besties going to a sex club for her friend’s birthday. Arianna found herself with a guy almost instantly and boy was the time HAD. Katelyn writes the best spice, hands down🫣 . The night was wild and the show they had with the crowd was EVERYTHING. Ari agrees to come back and meet up that weekend again.
This time she finds out the mystery man… is her ex step father. COME ON TABOO ME BABY🥵
They find themselves on a family vacation, that Logan has avoided since he left her mom for cheating on him. He decides to accept the invite this year so he can see Ari. And man oh man.

What a wild ride. Katelyn knows how to hook us from the very first chapter and when I say this one starts with a bang, I mean it!

It started in a masked sex club, and we were thrown right into the deep dark end. Ari and Logan met and spent the night together unbeknown to each other WHO THEY WERE. Well I’ll fill in a little gap for you, Logan is Ari’s EX STEP FATHER.
Logan and Ari’s relationship, was not only bursting with steamy tension filled moments, their relationship was captivating to experience. Just trust me when I say it’s taboo as f*ck, and it wouldn’t be a Katelyn book without some family drama, twists and turns!
It was such a fun, spicy, quick read and it was exactly what I needed. Girllll we are out here begging for more already! 🤭🧎♀️
