THIS SYSTEM IS RIGGED... Man…whoever thought being a god would make life easy needs a serious reality check. I mean, I offed humanity’s champion, then I hacked into the world’s System to literally erase the pesky Hero title once and for all, but I still can’t catch a break. Now Yamada’s inherited his brother’s title, and it looks like he and the other reincarnations are on their way to the elf village juuust when the demon army is looking to conquer it. Ugh, this is becoming way too big a headache...Time for plan B. I think I’ll have a little “chat” with Sariel.
hmmm... I really don't know how I feel about this. It's not the same as the first half of the series that pulled me in and made me love it so much. Yes, I'm intrigued by the twist at the end, but the book took me soo long to read. I'm still not happy about how the series stopped at such a big event and is now giving us THREE TO FOUR books of FLASHBACKS???? But there's only three books left. I'm in too deep. I'll have to see it through :((((
Look I will be honest with you and say I have no illusions about this series actually turning around and becoming good but momma didn't raise no quitter so I'm still here keeping up with every volume like I truly am in a stockholm syndrome situation. Volume 13 AT THE VERY LEAST isn't as bad as some other entries and I take every little win I can get with this god awful series. Okina Baba loves one thing more than anything and that is redundant repetition of information and overexplaining everything - thus when information hits you out of fucking nowhere with very little preamble and no foreshadowing on how we got there you can bet your ass we are gonna get repitions and explainations about this retroactively for at least the next two volumes Awesome...
I’m a big fan of this series and had high expectations for this volume. I was not disappointed. It’s a bit less action packed compared to #12, (Shiro’s fight at the end was pretty cool). This book helped me better understand the “system” and what and why Shiro and the Demon King were up to. Great POV chapters from Wrath and Dustin, and I loved the Demon King’s reflections regarding her life and Shiro’s.
Ah, thank goodness we're back to the perspectives of people I care about. I was so annoyed by volume 11, and my interest was waning by the end of volume 12, but thankfully we're back to some fun! We're closing in on the present day and we're getting some juicy information on things we didn't know about. Good times, good times indeed.

I genuinely love the fact that all of these backstories help show the each character’s point of view and their goals. An interesting way of setting up for the battle up ahead.
Really informative and I want to see what happens. Not a whole lot of story movement per say but it does help fill in quite a few gaps in what was going on, I personally enjoyed it but I want the story to move alot more forward in the next one!
The series continues to delight me. I was so happy to read another volume because it’s like getting together with old friends. I don’t want to rush the writer but I just look forward so much to each volume.
At long last, the story is back on track, following our favorite spider once more. Although there is very little action in this title, the meandering, whimsical thoughts of White are just as charming as ever, and the stage is set for a grand conclusion.
As always I love this series this volume was a tad boring so it took me awhile to actually finish it but it did add some important world building to lead up to the events at the elf village can’t wait to start volume 14
I've been enjoying this series so far, but this time the repetitive writing style stood out to me which made this entire reading experience annoying. Because of this, this book could've been condensed to 50 pages or something, seeing as there wasn't much storyline.
Another exceptionally fun entry in this series. Very little literary value but the MC is as likeable and funny as always and the world gets cooler every time we learn more about it.
Este volumen fue como un recuento de lo que ya vimos con anterioridad pero visto más a profundidad y como fue participación de Shiro en cada suceso así como mostrandonos más de sus objetivos.

My main criticism of the series is that many of the volumes repeat the same unnecessary information so often that it turns the reading from enjoyable to irksome. This volume, however, delivers more new information and more detailed description, which made for a much better experience overall - especially compared to volume 12.
This series is one of my guilty pleasures. I love it. Don’t know what is translator or the original intent of the author. Doesn’t matter. It will make me smile with trash humor.
Except this time. After two fantastic volumes (11 & 12) that show the potential and talented story telling of the stories, it has reverted completely to Hahaha, kekekeke, insert joke here as I recap and explain and don’t further the plot after like 8 volumes.
I’m halfway through the book and for the first time ever, I don’t want want to finish it. I’m sure I will eventually and hopefully I’ll come back and edit this review.
