This book can only be a 10, never a 5. That’s how good it is!

The story of Saint and Harper was not what I expected at all, it was epic! There are not enough words to describe how I felt during and after I read this book. The deep emotions and the changes that can be brought to one’s life, for the better. I just love Saint and Harper. It’s a match made from heaven. So many tellings, so many feels, and the total steam that comes off the pages, and the sincerity of it all, with the mystery and suspense added to it. The story line was unique. I couldn’t put this book down at all once I started. Heather Slade, you’ve definitely outdone yourself with this book.

Sainted is book 8 in the Invincibles series by Heather Slade and as always another awesome read!! Love this series!! Standalone but reading in order gives you a better understanding of the Invincibles..

Up next is Saint, who we met in the prior books, playboy extraordinaire, former MI6 agent who needs to repair his reputation if he wants back in MI6. He has also been contacted by the Invincibles to join the. He is headed back across the pond when he is seated next to Harper a beautiful, intelligent woman who has just been jilted.

Harper decided she was going to take the honeymoon for one..what she didn’t know was it would be a one way ticket since her ex canceled the return flight, stole al her money, closed her credit cards and left her stranded on foreign soil. When he seat mate turns out to be Saint, he is determined to be her Knight in shining armor…read on to see where it all goes and if they end up together…

Harper & Saint

A different love story. It is the most current book in the series and a standalone, however, I can see why the series would make it even more enjoyable. I loved it enough to get the rest of the series and will read it as time allows.

A trip to Europe was to be her honeymoon had not her douche-fiance not ditched her the day of the wedding--and that was just the beginning of his discretions. Saint happened to sit next to her, thinking her nervous attitude had to do with flying. The man was the epitome of a charming gentleman, not even counting his amazing good looks. His womanizing ways were well hidden.

They seemed comfortable with each other enough that she explained her solitary journey not aware of how much worse it would get.

The rest of her dilemma you'll need to read. He was more than willing to help. The two seem made for each other in so many ways. Yes, there was chemistry but reasons not to press the physical side. Both need someone to confide in and both served that purpose or the other. Yes like good friends but more much more.

His background and family connections in political secret services would play a big part in their future. Her religious training and plans seem out of sync with this man yet they fit like puzzle pieces. There are visits with other characters in his background and obviously the books I've yet to read. Still, the author did a great job of succinctly explaining their positions in the different agencies.

The love story is unique and sweet yet smokin' hot. I guarantee a good read.

Jilted bride finds a new love and life.

When Parker got on the plane to London, she wouldn't know how much her life would change.
She was left at the Altar by Dave, her fiance, was a no show. She decided to take the flight to London. Seeing it was already paid for. This was supposed to be their honeymoon. She was broken hearted.
Little did she know what was going to happen when she met Saint.
He was headed home to London. He was fired from MI6 for a botched mission.
He found her refreshing compared to most of the women he knew. She was easy to talk to and sincere.
She gets to London to find her accommodation were canceled two weeks previously. Dave knew all along that he wasn't going to get married to Parker. Then she went to make connections to fly back home and her card was maxed out. She found out he had drained out the bank accounts and maxed out the card. She was stranded there.
Saint offered for her to stay at his flat. He really didn't want her to leave. He found her refreshing and lovely.
Their relationship blooms with time. She had never been with a man like him. Dave was never intimate with her. Thank God.
Saint would do anything for her.
I love their feelings and how they want what's best for each other.
She wants to be a Vicar and he is willing to help her get her dream. She wants him to be happy with his life and career.
The Invincibles as him to join their Security team.
Life is good for both as their love grows.
Loved these remarkable characters and how they would do anything for each other.
Another great story by Heather Slade. The Alpha males and the woman they love.

Book number Eight Sainted in the Invincible’s Series. As with every book they are all equal to or even surpass the ones prior. This is the story of Saint and Harper they meet on a airplane flight to London sitting in first class, Harper was just left stranded at the alter by “douchey Dave ” (her best friends calls him) her ex, her best friend talks her into taking the honeymoon flight “just because”! Saint ends up taking the seat that would have, should have been “douchey Dave” her ex’s seat had he bothered to show up for the wedding. In conversation during the flight she explains these things to Saint, so once they land and Saint helps her get to the hotel and Harper discovers that while she is in flight her ex has canceled the hotel, her return flight, stole all her money, maxed all her credit cards and left her stranded. Saint is determined to make things right for her. The chemistry is off the charts and immediate and all consuming between Saint and Harper. Their story is romantic, passionate, entertaining, suspenseful, caring and compassionate. Once you start this book you will not want to put it down until you are done, its that intriguing. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I highly recommend. This is another addition to my reading library. You will not be disappointed. I received an Advance Reader's Copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest thoughts and opinions.

Harper had done something a bit spontaneous after being left at the alter. She decides to go on the honeymoon alone. She's figures either David would show up or the seat next to her would be empty. Instead a very handsome Englishman takes the seat.

Nivan 'Saint' St. Thomas, was fortunate there was a cancellation. He'd been going to ask 'Money' McTiernan for help to find Jinyan Tai Man, but when he realized his assistant was the woman he was with the night before, he changed his mind.

The two of them enjoy conversation as they learn about each other. He's surprised to find she has her degree in Christian Leadership, just as she's surprised he's former MI6. When they land he still has some identification that speeds them both through customs and he insists on taking her to her hotel.

That's where everything begins to go south.

Saint is more than helpful and encourages Harper to stay for a while in England while he finds out where her money is.

I love the way these two fall for each other, while the attraction has been there since they met, it grows rapidly as Saint shows her London and some of the surrounding areas. Including the area where he grew up and an introduction to a Vicar who could use some help.

This book is lots of fun, with a bit of political intrigue, and just a touch of sizzle.

🇬🇧This was utterly delightful! I did read this as a standalone and felt like I was missing nothing since each book features a different couple. But I have the other 7 to read and review and am greatly looking forward to them!
🇬🇧Harper is having the worst day. Jilted at the altar, she might as well use her honeymoon in London. Saint just can't help feeling his playboy ways makes everyone in the spy community think the worst of him. Harper wants to be a minister, and Saint thinks he has to change.
🇬🇧Honestly the awkwardness of their situation is endearing. And the learning to communicate the best way possible for a couple is very really in this story. It just made the story so enjoyable to have feeling develop quickly, but for the lack of those things taken for granted in long term relationships or friends turned lovers.
🇬🇧Saint is 100% swoon worthy in his head. I'm not sure all the time speaking out loud lol. Harper is innocently adorkable. But I absolutely loved her, and related to some of her thoughts about things.
🇬🇧Looking forward to read books 1-7 soon, and want the other 2 or 3 books in the series asap lol.

A sainted devil meets his angel!

I think I've been in love with Saint since Undercover Agent was released more than a year ago! I was thrilled to see him get his HEA, and even more so to get to know the lovely lady who captures his heart. Saint is an integral part of the Invicibles team and his story is not to be missed.

Saint is at a crossroads in his career when he meets Harper on a plane. She's taking the honeymoon solo after her fiancé jilted her, and he's the last minute occupant of the seat next to her. The sparks fly instantly, but even more than their chemistry there is an immediate, intense emotional forcefield that surrounds these two. I loved the way they just instinctively felt comfortable with each other, which turned out to be necessary when she realizes the full extent of what her ex has done. Saint is the perfect gentleman, stepping up for her and helping her pick up all the scattered pieces of her life.

Harper is a breath of fresh air, a woman whose life is completely separate from the cloak and dagger intrigue of the world Saint is accustomed to. I love the way she grounds him, while he challenges her to embrace a bigger life than she'd thought possible.

This is a deliciously sweet story with only a bit of action and suspense at the end as Saint wraps up a critical mission. We get plenty of interactions with several of our heroes from earlier books, and a tempting look at our hero from the next. I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I have been wanting Saint's story for quite a while now, and it definitely didn't disappoint! Harper and Saint meet when she is ditched by her groom and left hanging on what should have been her solo honeymoon. They connect but both think it's just a one time thing. Until with Harper's new job, Saint becomes her new co-worker. Now they have to keep their hands off each other and try to do their jobs. But that is harder than it seems.

I really liked this story!! Harper is nothing like what you would imagine someone involved in the "spy" world would be. She is down to earth and sweet but she has this strength and backbone that I loved. Saint is definitely just like you would imagine. Very much what I think of when I think of his profession. She keeps him in check in ways that I wasn't expecting while at the same time learning that she can be something more because of him. They are the perfect example of opposites attract but also compliment each other! There wasn't as much action as I was expecting but honestly, this book doesn't need it. It was perfect with the amount that was in it! I can't wait to read more in this world!

Saint is or was an operative for the British Government, but an over inflated ego and libido has him unemployed!!
His uncle has said he’ll help Saint to get his job back, but it won’t be easy!

Harper is suppose to be on her honeymoon! But instead she’s flying solo to London after being jilted at the alter!

Saint and Harper meet on the plane bound to London. And before you know it they are both unloading their burdens to one another….
It’s a nothing like either have experienced before, but neither act upon the chemistry that is obviously there.
Exiting the place, Harper expects never to see her handsome companion again. But fate has a way of intervening …..

Harper is stranded in London!! How?? Well to find out you’ll have to read the book 😉
And Saint comes to her rescue.

And what happens after is a rollercoaster of a ride.
There is Romance, Intrigue and plenty of action.

It’s the eighth book in the Invincible Series, I’ve not read any of the previous books. And it does seem to make a difference. But I’ll definitely be going back to meet the rest of the “Invincibles”.

Saint is a M16 agent who has to grow up as his actions have led to him being pretty much fired. Now, I know that some of his actions weren't that serious but politics can be vicious on any job. Harper got left at the altar, so she decided to go on her honeymoon to London alone which is how she came face to face with the super yummy Saint. He oozes sex appeal but she's a true innocent & pure and yet, they end up bonding on the plane. She thinks they're going to say goodbye at her hotel, when she learns that she has been taken for everything she had so Saint brings her back to his flat. Harper was super sweet, but I have to say that she did get frustrating from time to time with her need to apologize over everything. These two have serious sparks which bring on a pretty big push & pull because of her innocence but it won't be denied forever though. They end up getting closer but he's got issues on all fronts trying to put his life back together which gave us some suspense as the twists were coming in, but he ended up with the dream job, and maybe just maybe the girl! You'll have to hit those one click buttons to see for yourselves as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I've not read any of the other books in The Invincibles series, and had no trouble reading this book as a stand-alone. But the good news is, you can read this entire series for FREE with KU, so I'll be reading a few more Heather Slade books. When Harper is stranded at the altar by a jerk of a fiancé, she decides to travel to Europe without him. I always think with this storyline, how lucky these women are to "dodge that bullet". Nivan 'Saint' St. Thomas gets lucky with a seat cancelation on a flight, grabs it, and finds himself next to Harper. Enjoying each others company on the flight uses his M16 connections to get them through customs and when Saint helps her get to her hotel, she finds out someone has has drained all her accounts. Saint offers her his guest room and to help her find her money. There is a ton of chemistry, awesome connection between, and you can see a relationship blooming. The book is well paced, steamy, has some twist, turns, and more. I enjoyed this so much, I am going back and reading the other books in the series. Solid Read

I thought this was so refreshing. It felt like there were new characters, even though we knew a bit about Saint from others' journeys, or maybe no one really knew him at all, including himself.
Starts out as a chance meeting with Niven (Saint) and Harper, seatmates flying to London for entirely different reasons, but ironically, both in a contemplative mindset about where their lives are going, or need to go, and as opposite on the spectrum as two could possibly get I thought, and yes I'm laughing, yet very intrigued. Twists and turns I didn't see coming, along with those bits of humor I so love.
A fantastic journey that encompasses an entire realm of ideals, melding together what we may have had preconceived notions on, blending them seamlessly. Harper is truly Saint's Yin to his Yang, their chemistry is physical, yet spiritual, and I could honestly envision it all through the pages as I read along.
Of course there's some action in here! And cameos of those loveable Invincibles, great to have in any journey, but this is Harper and Saint's road to romance ending with a super happy sigh HEA for me.
Sainted can stand alone, but the whole series is really worth reading.

I really adored Saint's and Harper's story. He is her very self-depriciating Knight in White Armour and she is the anchor and stabilizing force he needs. Normally I'm not a big fan of insta-love, but this book is the exception. The feelings of connection, the build-up of physical attraction, the eventual steamy scenes all seem very realistic and believable. This is much more a romance than a suspense novel. The eventual mission Saint has to go on is really just an afterthought or a reminder of life with a spy. A good part of the story is also set in a picturesque part of England I happen to be very fond of so that added to the enjoyment of it for me.
Although this is the 8th book in the series, it is the first one I've read and so can say that it absolutely stands on its own. Characters from previous books make appearances and I'm sure it adds to the enjoyment if you have read their stories and see it continue here. I will now just have to go back and read them and look forward to more to come.

Once again we are with "The Invincibles" and once again it is the characters that make the story. Two people who meet by accident but who have an instant connection and when she needs rescuing Saint will be the man for the job

Nivan 'Saint' St. Thomas, knows that he has to change his playboy ways especially if he wants to keep the job that he has been offered as an INVICIBLE but he also knows that it will be extremely hard. That is until he scores a cancelled booking on a flight to London and is seated next to a woman that calls to him. Harper has decided to go ahead with her honeymoon even though she was stood up at the alter she figures she will have either an empty seat beside or her ex what she actually gets is a gorgeous Englishman. As they talk he is surprised that she is training to be a minister. He soon whisks them customs with his credentials and offers to take her to her hotel there she strikes trouble who has taken her money Saint is about to find out and get it back for her and he just may learn that he is actually a one woman man in the process

Our hero has a bit of a reputation, but he is out to change that. Well, mostly at least. Anything to please our heroine.

This is book eight of the series, but it is written as a standalone. There are some references to things past and cameos from past characters, but nothing that detracts from this story.

This is a romantic suspense story, which is a genre I love for the combination of action and romance. The characters here are well developed and solid, easily bringing the story to life and drawing the reader into the story. I also really enjoyed the chemistry between them as it made them really good partners in the action. All this is paired with a plot that has an intriguing mystery with enough twists and turns to keep you turning pages to see what comes next. Overall, a wonderful blend of elements that made for a highly enjoyable story. I look forward to reading more by this author.

Highly recommended.

an enjoyable read
Niven, playboy recently fired from MI6, meets Harper, quiet, sensitive, jilted at the altar, on a flight to London and there is attraction on both sides. He is gracious to escort her to her hotel, only to discover that the missing groom had cancelled her reservation and left her destitute having taken all the money out of the bank account and cancelled the return flight ticket. At the kindness of Niven, Harper stays at his apartment and the relationship blossoms on both sides.
The interfering dominating uncle has secrets and demands, Niven and Harper have decisions to make as to the future. She has desires to be a vicar and the attraction of a country parish in UK beckons - opposites do attract and Niven's future plans definitely includes Harper.
A sweet romance between a man who operates as a spy and a shy, christian woman is a great addition to the series.

Harper was left at the altar, but friends talk her into going to London on the honeymoon, to get away. Saint is seated next to her in first class and she tells him the story as they get to know each other a bit. Saint takes her to the hotel only to find that her ex canceled everything while she was in the air, and maxed her credit cards, leaving her high and dry. Saint takes on the role of savior and more as they help each other in ways they never thought possible.
The characters are heartwarming and are well written. The storyline has drama, surprises, twists, wildlife, several weddings, and family intrigue. The romance feels so right and the situations and banter are great. Wonderful to have the Invincibles coming into the story here and there. Terrific ending. Can not wait to read more of this group.

A jilted bride, and a disgraced MI6 agent known for being a rake and an empty first class seat on a plane bound for London make Code Name: Saint just a tad different from other Invincible Team series books. When you add in the fact that the jilted bride has a master's degree in theology and wants to have a small parish of her own someday it gives this story yet another diiference; the minister and the playboy. But it works on every level. I found Saint to be very charming, solicitouus, warm and caring. He's the balm Harper's soul needed. It doesn't take long for Harper to figure out just how wrong, in every way, her ex-fiance was for her. Saint not only treats her kindly and caringly, he's hospitable, a great tour guide and most of all makes her feel wanted and beautiful. Of course there is a mission with some danger and drama but this is mostly a story of how finding the right person to love is everything.

This was a beautiful story of two people who are brought together by circumstance and have an instant attraction and fall in love. Saint is very much a playboy but when he meets Harper he does not want to let her go. They both have a little drama in their lives but it is not anything that cannot be resolved. I loved this book and I loved Harper and Saint together. Ms Slade has written a wonderful story and although this is my first book in this series and by this author it has now inspired me to read more of these books. I was totally absorbed with this story that I could not put it down. I was very pleasantly surprised by this book and I hope that in the future we can read more about Harper and Saint.

I absolutely adored Saint and Harper! From their first meeting, I was enchanted!
Saint has been one of my favorite characters in this series. I am so glad to read his story! Seeing him find the one who makes him feel whole was delightful! Harper was fun to read as well, as we watched her grow from a shell shocked bride left at the alter, into a woman of purpose, love and joy who has found the actual man of her dreams!
It was also good to get glimpses into our favorite characters from prior books. I felt like I got a last minute invite to Rile’s wedding on Mallorca!
This author is once again, dead on with character building and keeping story details clear. She keeps the reader engaged throughout the story.

This is Book 8 in the Invincibles Series and my first read by this author, and I must say that I quite enjoyed the storyline and the characters. It is a sweet romance between Saint and Harper. These characters are likeable, the connection strong, the chemistry hot, and the unique plot makes for an entertaining read. Whats starts out as a chance meeting as seatmates on a plane turns into something more. It is a wild adventure with drama, humor, action, sweetness, frustrating moments, and love, plus engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. Overall, it is a solid read with heart, heat and a happy ending. It can be read as a standalone but you enhance your reading pleasure if you read the other books in the series.

I absolutely loved this book! Saint is hardly a saint. He's an ex-MI6 playboy trying to mend his personality in order to get his job back. Harper has just been jilted at the altar and decides to go on the honeymoon alone. Since the seat next to her is unoccupied, Saint, on standby, slips into it just before takeoff. Devastated, Harper is reluctant to engage in conversation with Saint but he persists and they hit it off. Turns out her ex has cancelled her return flight, the hotel reservations, emptied her accounts, and maxed out her credit cards! Stranded and near tears, Saint offers his spare room. Everything escalates from there. This is such an unlikely couple in that he has a sordid past and she wants to be a minister. He's very handsome and she considers herself plain. Together though they make a lovely couple. Great story by a fabulous author!

Not what I expected for Saint and Harper. A sweet protector story for someone who's been left in a foreign country with no money, no accommodation and no way to get home. She's out of her league and Saint takes over to provide for her. I loved her career choice and what she studied for and she didn't give that up. It's not how good you are at kissing, it's about who you are kissing, totally loved that analogy. Saint is not doing his best with his career and being pressured by family is not helping, but he has teammates that will cover his six and he's just coming to understand that. Loved the surprise with Hammer as well. Love this series, can't wait for more.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the storyline between Saint and Harper.
They are two strangers that meet on an airplane from the US to England.

Harper is on her honeymoon without a groom that failed to show up on their wedding day.
Saint is heading back home to England wondering if he still has a job within M16.

He offers to give her a lift to the hotel that was reserved for the honeymoon only to find out upon arrival that the reservation has been cancelled. Harper also finds other problems and doesn't
know what to do, but Saint offers her a place to stay.

This book is one of my favorites from Heather, I only wished the book didn't end so quickly. I think there could have been more...

This is the 8th book in this epic series and is Saint and Harper’s story. These two meets on a plane where Harper is taking a solo honeymoon after being jilted, and when she arrives at the hotel only to find out the reservation has been cancelled amongst other things. Saint is a playboy M16 agent, and Harper is CIA, and when she arrives at her new job, she finds out that they are going to be working together. The chemistry between these two is combustible and undeniable. This is a well written story which is filled with emotions, intrigue, suspense, action, teammates, and is an intense, sweet, and all-consuming page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Whoa, this book will give you all kinds of feels! There are so many things to Saint and Harper that are more than what they show the world. Saint is literally one of the best guys that I have read about in so long. He is so loyal and such an awesome person inside and out. I loved seeing him open up and show just how special he was. I adored Harper too, but Saint literally stole the show for me!

All in all if you are looking for a romantic suspense with a guy that has a heart of gold, this is TOTALLY your next book choose. I enjoyed reading it and give it 4.5 outta 5 stars, I totally recommend you checking it out ASAP!

PS: Thank you to Heather Slade and Give Me Books PR for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly!

Harper is supposed to be flying to London, first class, on her honeymoon, but her ex decided he didn't want to get married. Her best friend, Mouse, persuades her to go anyway. She's in her seat when a gorgeous British man gets on and sits next to her.
She's not used to flying and ends up clenching his hand.
Saint thinks she's beautiful and chats to her.
When they arrive in London, Saint insists on taking her to her hotel, where things go pear shaped. Her ex cancelled the hotel reservation two weeks ago and then her credit card won't work.
Saint takes her back to his flat.
A great romantic suspense from Heather.

He’s no saint but he’s mending his ways. Harper is in a jam and only he can rescue her (if she doesn’t get out of it on her own). Fabulous story. I highly recommend this book but I also think you’ll love it more if you read the entire series, in order. All the books are great but there are nuances I think you’ll miss (if you haven’t read the other books, you won’t notice but it’s part of the story). I love Heather Slade’s characters. They are well formed and well developed. They behave the way they should and no one goes off character (which makes me crazy). I liked the characters and they “fit” together. The story line is tight and well plotted with enough action to keep you hopping, a fabulous love story and tons of steam. You can’t go wrong with this one (or any of the others).

An Undeniable Connection

They were passengers on a plane, but they both had a meeting with destiny. When a stranger sat in what would have been her husband’s seat, Harper had no idea that this stranger would change her life. The connection between Saint and Harper was instant and undeniable. Perhaps, being jilted at the altar might have been the best thing that happened to Harper. She was about to get the surprise of her life, and Saint was her lifeline during her time of need. I enjoyed this story. It is a steamy romance with a bit of suspense. This story did not have as much suspense as the other books in the series; it was more romantic than suspenseful. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to those who like stories with romance and a dash of suspense and intrigue.
