Book two in the Facilitator trilogy and although the dynamics have changed a lot between Lauren and Mackenzie, this was equally as satisfying.

Lauren and Mackenzie are now officially an item and still exploring and pushing their boundaries.  I really like how each scene is handled, the consent, the steam, the aftercare.

Mackenzie is a fantastic dominant and how he cares for Lauren is beautiful.

At time of posting this trilogy is available on Kindle Unlimited.

Favorite Quotes:

“I believe a gentleman should reciprocate,” he said. “I like the reciprocation, but I don’t need a gentleman,” I said.

He’ll have a bit of how’s ya father with her and then come to his senses. Sometimes, Lauren, these men, they need to have the sex, get it all out of their system before their brain can work properly.

I feel so sorry for you. The acid from the bitterness that consumes you must need a shitload of medication.

My Review:

This salacious tale was quite a sizzler. This libidinous pair didn't merely scorch the sheets, their lustful activities and repeated frictions appeared quite capable of setting the bed aflame! I adored Mackenzie and Lauren and enjoyed the continuation of their mutually thoughtful and solicitous love affair. I was also intrigued by the suspenseful storylines and delighted with the sweetly loving and deeply supportive and soul-deep connection the couple shared, although there were several cringe-worthy sensual scenes that took me quite a bit outside my comfort zone.

I would love to know what type of vitamins, magical elixirs, or health regime this licentious couple would have followed, as their stamina was otherworldly. I would certainly buy stock in whatever product could induce such vigor and endurance. I didn’t know whether to be impressed, jealous or horrified when one encounter became so intense Lauren passed out from the bliss. However, the most satisfyingly erotic scene for me was the tender care Mackenzie took in dressing Lauren for a special evening out with clothing that he had personally procured for her. Sigh. He was very attentive and considerate of her.

I picked up some new Brit lingo with how’s ya father – which apparently is a euphemism for sex in the UK. But I was rather aghast in the results of Googling pie and mash – which was defined as leftover scraps of meat and vegetables baked in a pastry crust and served with mash potatoes drenched in a green parsley sauce, and commonly accompanied with jellied eels and the liquor sauce made from the liquid used to boil the eels. Hmm, I’m not sure I’m adventurous enough for green and eely potatoes on the regular.

Mystery, intrigue, excitement and much much more in this second part story, it is full of emotional highs and lows with happiness and sadness all mixed up with anger and frustration. It is a journey of sexual exploration, that breaks boundaries and pushes Lauren to her limits and beyond. The enemies start circling causing issue after issue, including someone who should think a bit more about what they are doing. For someone supposedly with business sense, who had built it up and then sold for profit, a bit of investigation and some of that common sense would have been better served. With budding friendships growing, relationships changing as well as careers it certainly keeps these characters moving forward. The plot is intense and multi directional, there are a lot of elements that sometimes seem to pull in opposite ways, forces conspiring for things not to be straight forward, some might find it to much but personally it added to the emotional aspect, kept me focussed on this couple and I am glad they were strong in their love against everything thrown at them. I do wonder if there might be a book 3? with the ending though not a cliff hanger it was left in a way as to allow options for that and it would please me to get more of them. Worth more than 5 stars n my opinion.

I tore through the first half of this book as we find out what happens to Lauren and Mackenzie now they are working and living together, but I had to make myself slow down and savour the second half because I didn’t want it to end. A cracking, saucy, romantic, page turner. I hope there is a third one as there is still something on the list!

I thought the first book was hot but this one is even hotter and is full of heart. I loved the first book it is one of my favourites by Tracie but this book what can I say expect wow I could not put this down and spent a whole night ignoring my husband to finish it. This one picks up only a little while after the first book finishes.

In the book we get to see Mackenzie and Lauren relationship developing and making me fall in love with this couple even more. Also we are treated to Gabriella and Jerry making more of an appearance, which left me wanting more of their stories to.

A must read especially if you have read the first book.

I'm not sure I can top the review I wrote for Part I of this duology. I could always repeat myself, but I don't do that, it isn't in my nature.

When I read Part I of this book, I thought it was going to be just another in a long line of erotica novels I've read over the years. I've been reading the genre for years and years (and no I won't say how many, because if I DO, you might be able to do the math). By the time I was a quarter of the way through the book, I knew I would sit up that night and read it. Then I opened Book 2, and had to force myself to walk away and get some sleep. That didn't, however, stop me from starting it again with my morning coffee. And when I should have been working, I was reading. And when I should have been doing more work, I was reading. You get the idea (wink).

There are very few authors who understand erotica. No it isn't as simple as just writing about sex. I only wish it were that simple, then my Kindle wouldn't have had to put up with all of the books I've DNF'd, or deleted, or given one star reviews to because they were THAT BAD. This one? No way in he!! will I be deleting this any time soon. In fact, I'm already re-reading Book 1 of the set.

To say this book is steamy is like saying that Joe Montana was just a football player (or Elway or Marino or whatever team you like)-a total understatement. This book examines the types of fantasies that a lot of women won't admit to - FMF, MMF - those are acronyms for fantasies that aren't suitable to discuss in public. Ha! And here I've been discussing them, public or not, for years. The author isn't entirely right when she says that Brits are uptight about sex. Americans are too. In fact, we are WAY too uptight about it. Sex should be about enjoyment, which is one point the book made over and over again. If you aren't enjoying it, don't do it.

I absolutely loved MacKenzie's list (lol) and finding out I was right on the last page of the book was icing on the cake.

The technical about the book? A few typos, a couple of words that are more British than American, and probably wouldn't have been spoken by an American, regardless of how often he'd spent in Britain. I picked up a lot of phrases (and even have a British to English dictionary to hand out when they start coming out of my mouth), but these particular ones aren't common.

If you want to read about how I feel about the entire series, the best review is always the first one. Read my review of Book 1, and you'll get the idea. In the meantime, this author is going on the shelf as one of my go-to's. It takes a long time to get on that shelf, and I am amazed that Ms. Podger made it with one duology. Rest assured, however, that I will be recommending this book to anyone who needs a good, steamy recommendation. Love you Ms Podger...now on to check out the rest of your books. :-)

I really enjoyed book 1 so was looking forward to listening to this one as well and it did not disappoint.

This book follows on nicely from book 1 and the characters relationship is progressing nicely and really well, although both have doubts about the seriousness of it.

Overall it was a brilliant, if steamy, book which I really enjoyed. Tracie is a\ brilliant author and the narrator did a great job of bringing the book to life.

I knew it after reading The Facilitator part one, but now after devouring part two, I can officially say I'm in love with Mackenzie Miller. He is just the right amount of dominant, sexy, hot alpha but with a very caring, loyal, sweet and dare I say it vulnerable side when you get inside the steel plated armour protecting his heart and soul.

This story had ultra hot steamy passionate sexiness, but it wasn't all about the sex, there was a great story intertwined with it. In this book Mackenzie and Lauren are a couple but they are still learning to trust completely and I loved how both of them healed each other enough to let go of past hurts, with the strength of their love. Lauren was such a kind, strong soul, if I'd been put through what she was, I'm not sure I'd be so understanding!!

There was tension, suspense, heartbreak, swoony romance and more insight into the past and some of the other characters, particularly Jerry, Addison and Gabriella.

I loved this, Tracie Podger has written an absolute winner for me, so much so I have to hope for more one day - 5 big "yes please Mr Miller" stars

I would like to thank Tracie Podger for writing another packed book to do with Mackenzie and Lauren. I've read book 1 before and loved the characters. The right amount of spice and naughtiness that makes you turn the pages to find out what else is happening.

In book 2, we find out more about Lauren and Mackenzie as their relationship either blossoms or fails. You even found out about Mackenzie's dad and other people. What is Addison and Daniel up to? Will Mackenzie and Lauren make a go of their relationship or will it go belly up like the company she used to belong to. All will be revealed when you read and love The Facilitator (part 2).

I read Facilitator and also listened to it on audio version. I loved it. When I heard Facilitator 2 was coming out I had to get the audio version first.

Mackenzie and Lauren take the relationship to a new level. They have some issues that arise from friends and family. They have a deal with some issues that challenge them. I love delving deeper into their life. We also get to know some people that play an important role in there lives. I feel book two gave us a better understanding of them as individuals and as a couple. I loved this story!

I read this book in one setting. I am obsessed with Mackenzie and Lauren.
Mackenzie and Lauren are now a couple, can their relationship hold as they encounter people from his past? What about his list? Can Lauren fulfill it? Read along as we see Lauren and Mackenzie work along side each other, can they do it? Tracie Podger brings these characters to life with a depth we can all relate to. I highly recommend you read the first one before trying to read this one.

Following up where the first book left, we get to know more about Mackenzie and Lauren’s romance story. There are people who will cheer them on their relationship but there are some that go against it as well.
I enjoyed this story as much as the first one. Full of many steamy scenes and a few suspenseful twists, it’s becoming a favourite contemporary romance trilogy for me .
On to the next and last book now.

It was so nice catching up with these characters, I loved book one of The Facilitator, so it was with anticipation that I started reading book two. I wasn’t disappointed at all, this is a well written, fast paced and exciting read.

Lauren and Mackenzie are the two main characters and their life together is continuing to grow and evolve. Their story is full of emotion and a few troubled characters who cause their future to have a few bumps along the way. I loved that you got to find out more about Gabriella and Alex too. These characters are well written and very enjoyable to read about.

Tracie Podger is a very good author, she writes a good book and is one of my favourites, so it was a pleasure to read this book. My only criticism would be the amount of sex in it. Don’t get me wrong, sex is these two’s starting place and I am no prude, but I would have just liked a little less because this had such a good storyline, I think it took away from that a little. Having said that it is a definite must-read, but do read book one first.

I loved Part 1 so much, and Part 2 did not disappoint. Wow, the continuation of MacKenzie and Lauren's story. From her old boss, his ex, her ex, fathers-in-law, work, there are so many disruptions to their love story, with lots of hot sex thrown in the mix. I absolutely love Tracie Podger's books and have read so many. Her books grab my heart and attention and I am absorbed into her stories. Laughing, crying, smiling - all the emotions! The Audible for this book along with Part 1 is so fantastic too! I had tried other audio books where the narrator just read the story. However, this narration by India Rose brought the characters to life! From Gabriella's southern accent, Jerry, MacKenzie - all of them!! Outstanding! Delicious! I would listen to this every day!!

I listened to part 1 and read part 2. This gave me very different experiences of these books and a different view of the characters and I enjoyed them both. If you like your romance very erotic and don’t mind (extremely) colourful language then these books just might be for you - whichever way you chose to see/hear them. As the blurb says, you have been warned!!

The Facilitator part 2 by Tracie Podger is an amazing recapturing second part story looking at the story of Lauren Perry and Mackenzie Miller and their sexual erotic fantasies and lists.
Part 2 opens with Lauren and Mackenzie ending Lauren's list and beginning a relationship together knowing that he couldn't have a family due to his past, and both accepting this.
This time we start the facilitator's list but Lauren isnt allowed to know what is on this list.
Friendships are tested, past relationships cause serious issues and marriage brought onto the scene shows such a fantastic diverse book which has you gripped straight away.
Hopefully Lauren and Mackenzie's story can be pursued furthered especially as I have so many unanswered questions.

I loved this book. It picks up the story where part one left off and follows what happens between and to Lauren and Mackenzie, and a lot happens. I totally enjoyed the story, the twists and turns, the sub plots involving Gabriela, Jerry, The ex, the family were all really well interwoven and totally engrossing.
The sex is full on, hot and messy but avoids being gratuitous, emotionless or clinical.
It is also great to read a British erotic romance, where the idioms are not forced or false but natural, as it spoken, British English.
The writing is good, the characterisation is excellent and the story was full of highs and lows. What more can anyone want. I'm off to investigate other work by this author now, and hope she finds time to write more in this genre, with Lauren and Mackenzie or with others. I'd definitely read it.

The game was over.....or so we thought. What happens when a man who Facilitates a woman's needs finally meets the woman to tame him?

This story is a continuation from the The Facilitator, we pick up with Lauren and Mackenzie settling into a new life together, working and and living together. Just because these guys are in a relationship it does not mean that the fun has to end, Mackenzie can be quiet inventive! I love the fact that Mackenzie is a true gentleman but knows just how to please Lauren and Lauren in return gives and good as she gets. They make a great team, and when one is weak the other will pick them up and be their rock. Which is much needed when the pair are met with a blast from the past that is set to test their now found relationship.

The story had me gripped in lust and suspense throughout and I'm praying for a third book as I feel their is more to this story.

If you like a story with romance, a lot of sex and drama with twists and turns then this story is for you. A definite passionate page turner!

I thoroughly fell in love with Mackenzie and Lauren in The Facilitator Part One and could not wait to see more of them in this second part of the duet as for me, this book brought us something quite unique and refreshing as a woman was encouraged to actively explore her own needs, wants and desires. This is not a stand alone and you need to have read the first one to understand all that had gone before...and trust me you don't want to have missed out!

That being said, the second part of this duet is still extremely steamy and we certainly get to see more of Lauren and Mackenzie as they develop their relationship and face the challenges from the past. I enjoyed seeing a more vulnerable Mackenzie and stronger Lauren as tables were turned and she became more of the protector and defender in this book. I also loved that we got to see more of Alex, Veronica and the brilliantly witty Mary. The story itself is emotional and one that gives us highs and lows as both Lauren and Mackenzie have tests they face to get to their HEA.

My only criticism, and the reason for four rather than five stars, was that it seemed a bit rushed in places and while the sexual element was still present, it lacked what the first book gave us in terms of the 'game'. Now, I know this one was about developing the relationship (which I thoroughly enjoyed) and not the game they 'played' in the first part , but with the tag line on the cover being 'The game is over and the Facilitator has a list of his own to complete', I was hopeful we would see more of what Mackenzie had on his 'list' and explored like Lauren's list in book one!

I also felt that despite this being a 'duet' it still doesn't feel quite finished yet. Whether that's intentional or not, or simply how Tracie Podger has decided Lauren and Mackenzie's story should end, for me, I feel the end just didn't wrap up the way I had hoped.

Either way, if this is the completed series or not, this for me is still worth a read.

Powerfully and emotionally deep connections

The Facilitator Part 2 by Tracie Podger is a very well written book with a great deal of heart and intrigue. As the continuation of Part 1, it is not entirely necessary to read it, but I do highly recommend it. It’s a great read as well as background for Part 2.
While I typically prefer dual POV romances, I was absolutely just fine with this authors single POV style. The way it’s written, the reader can get a pretty good feel for the other characters through dialogue and descriptions of body language. I am hooked on these characters! Lauren is exploring self-discovery and Mackenzie is guiding Lauren through, Lauren becomes a much needed support while navigating emotional and business land mines. This book, to me, showcases their connections, emotional and physical, taking them to another level of discovery which feels very profound. Then there’s the plot. It is as intriguing and captivating as the characters.
Overall, a very well written book that the author hints might just have more coming. I really hope there is a part 3 as there are a few loose ends despite the HEA and my curious mind wants to know. And not just for the sake of the plot, but for the sake of Lauren and Mackenzie.
I read an ARC of this book from Hidden Gems and voluntarily share my review.

I really enjoyed this story that follows on from book one, The Facilitator. This is very well written with a story that flowed well.

Lauren and Mackenzie are experimenting with their ongoing relationship and seeing where it will lead both of them, of course, there is plenty of angst and problems along the way to make this story more enjoyable. The chemistry between the two of them is still explosive but in my opinion not as potent as the first book.

I love both characters, especially Mackenzie as he is all alpha male and dominant but with a heart of gold. Both still have many issues to sort through in their separate lives that could have an impact on any future they may want to share.

For me, it was a little slow in places. I found myself getting just slightly distracted by how many sex scenes were in it and just how often, a little too many for my taste. However, the story definitely excelled in the second half of the book and I would recommend it as a good series to read.
