**This complete serial is also available as five separate books.**
Rosa Mendez never felt that she belonged in the human world. She spent her teenage years longing to live among werewolves, where strong, shapely women are sought after and treasured as mates. Now, living and teaching in the Alpha Lands, she attracts more attention than she ever did back home.
Jared Clearlight is done with dating pure-blood humans. He's a beta now, a talented photographer ready to prove himself as an alpha to his tribe and form his own pack, but these one-night stands with humorless females are only draining his energy. He swears off human women altogether … until the night he catches sight of Rosa.
For the first time in her life, Rosa has to fight off the guys swarming around her. For the first time in his life, Jared holds something in his hands that he cares about far more than achieving alpha status. Can they satisfy each other's deepest desires, or will a wolf's obsession rip them apart?
This complete serial is a BBW/shapeshifter romance. The story contains strong sexual themes not intended for readers under the age of eighteen.

Not a bad read very interesting to follow along with and the action starts right into it. Not what I’m used to reading about wolves though, like when it came to the whole Alpha thing seemed like it was just passed down. The problem was, it seemed like none of the Alpha’s, Savan, Jared, maybe Raube. But the others didn’t seem like they could hold their own if a threat was there. They were given a more human quality that took away from the fantasy. Confusing at times trying to figure out what’s going on and why it was important. The ending was the worse though, too many things still left open and you still don’t get a sense of what the big deal was with her. I don’t know if the author has other stories that fill this information in or not but after reading this and being left wondering I’d doubt I’d have the patience to add on more without filling in these blanks before.
Never could follow the plot of this book. Woman dreams of living on Alpha land and falling in love with a wolf. Humans are called pure bloods but the author never tells us why. Then we spend chapters with a fellow teacher who turns out to be a psychotic with no warning. Without any more spoilers she meets the chief's son who barely says three sentences to her and she is in love.
This serial fell flat for me. I thought the characters were one dimensional, despite the author's attempts to develop them. I also thought the story was overly basic. It seemed like a good framework, but then the elements lacked the depth or detail to transform it to a great story. The lack of depth in the plot and characters made it difficult for me to connect, and I found myself just reading to finish rather than immersed in the story.
Rosa always wanted to go to the Alpha loans. When she graduated college she took up a teaching job there. A week later she went to Jared studio to purchase a book she could not find. She had a first quick reaction for him. So did he, but she was a full blood and he knew that was not meant to be. This is their story with many others involved in this series. Great series with many twist and turns. Highly recommend it.
No connection with the characters. Never read a wolf book where the male lead was weak and always getting beaten when he was supposed to be the next in line to be alpha. Too amateurish style of writing. Boring and dry romance. Clinically written. Don't recommend this book.
This story was interesting. the hook indicated a lot of potential but the book didn't love up to it. it was hard to follow and I'm still not even sure who the bad guys were.
I really don't know how to rate this book. I have it 3 stars because it wasn't the best but it also wasn't worst book I've read. I think this book is a touch and go. Either you will like it or don't.
Great series can't wait for the next one.Bought the series and I can't wait to start reading the other books. I hope you enjoy these as much as I have.
