Rate this book
If you have hyperthyroidism or Graves' Disease and are looking for a natural treatment solution to get to the underlying cause of your condition, then this book will show you how to restore your health naturally...and avoid radioactive iodine. While radioactive iodine is necessary at times, in most cases it should be the last resort. Antithyroid drugs may be necessary to manage the symptoms, but they of course do nothing for the actual cause of the disorder. The author of the book, Dr. Eric Osansky, was diagnosed with Graves' Disease and restored his health back to normal after following a natural treatment protocol. Ever since then he has been helping other people with hyperthyroidism and Graves' Disease use natural thyroid treatment methods restore their health.

Too much fluffs and repetition

As the title says. Too much fluff and repetition. I can summarize thr book in less than 5 actionable steps to try to have a remission for your hyperthyroidism.
- basically follow a paleo diet and be careful about ur stress and environmental toxins.
- avoid surgery or iodine treatement.
- some herbs that u need to use but be very caution
- look for a holistic doc as a must
- keep ur health level good even after remission

It lacks a detoxification program but still talks about it multiple times. It claims to be a holistic doc but fails to talk about those herbs and how they might help you.
So much talk about why holistic approach is the better one and why holistic docs have the same training as conventional ones. And so much repetition. The only good thing to avoid all the fluff is that theres chapter summary which by examining it u will notice that at least 5 to 7 chapters should be there. Anyway thanks for the herbs name which it wl require me further research..

Great source of information!

I am reading different books on treatments for Graves Disease and Hyperthyroidism. Lots of good information on natural products and resources. My Dr. Is not very helpful. Since I use the VA. She is my only choice.
But luckily there are a few different books by Doctors to help me out.

Lots of great information but way too much repetition. That paired with the MANY spelling and grammar errors made this book difficult to get through.
