Look for her in the trees enjoying nature’s wonders, traveling to see the latest animal conservations, or at aquariums all around the world. This girl loves nature and all animals. She has many pets and is always adding new additions. The more the merrier in her mind. Sitting under the shade reading a book, letting the world around her pass by, while she is safe in her bubble of imagination. Well that is where she’d love to stay. She is a softball player, can be talked into the occasional Karaoke and loves going out to dance. She is a first generation Canadian living in Ontario. Her family is from Scotland, so finding her in the hot sun for very long is unlikely, but give her rain and thunderstorms and she’s golden.

Life is a chaos. Alexis has lost her parents. And then his brother. That was her undoing. She is the CEO, and she wants to show everyone that is is a good one. She did not know a thing about computers, but now she excels at it.

Life is hard for her, nothing comes easy. Why does she always has to suffer? She knows that life isn't a little pink cupcake that your mother baked you.

She will discover some secrets that will put her life in danger, but she is a strong woman that will fight, she will not just sit and stare. She will take part and will decieve the bad guys in order to make justice.

Friendships will be tested. Loyalties  will  be betrayed. Alexis will not know who to trust. She is alone now.



She was always in love with Nolan,his brother´s best friend; but he hurt her, and betrayed her by not telling her the truth. She gave him something precious and then he left her.

Then we have Cohen, her new employee and best friens. She loves him but sometimes life is cruel and you will not have the chance to do things right. He took car of her, at the end he just saved her, thta was the proof of his true love.

Then we have Jax, a guy she used to know, her childhood crush. Now he is a man, a hot piece of man! He loves her, and she does that too. But she is not ready to make a decision. Her life is in danger, everything is a chaos.



Who will she trust? Will she give her heart to someone? Or does her heart has an owner and she has not realiized it  yet?



People she loves are in danger, and some of them are dead. Who is next?

The only thing she needs to do is stay alive. Is she able to do that?

I just love it! I suffered all the time, i needed answers! I am #TeamJax ! The author is a genius, the story is like a spider web! You are gonna love it. I could not put it down. It is an amazing book. I ca not wait for the secind one. The end....I knew that that was going to happen. But I was speechless, because a lot of questions appeared...so that is why I need the second book.

This is not a book where a girl falls in love with a guy, she falls in love with 3 of them! And she can not make a decision. Life is hard, people betrayed her, and she will fight back. She learnt one lesson, NOT TO TRUST ANYONE.

WOW! This Book!!! I have read other books by Gracie, but this one is AMAZING!!! The writing and story line is so different, I asked myself “Is this the same person?” I literally could not put it down. I slipped in a word, sentence, or paragraph whenever possible.

Storm Corp follows the life of Alexis Storm. After the death of her parents, and then her brother, Alexis becomes CEO of her family business, Storm Corp.

Life for Alexis is hard. At every turn someone or something is attempting to knock her down. To save herself, Alexis, begins to question those around her. She questions who she can trust. Friendships will be tested. Who will remain loyal to her and the company?

Nolan, her brother's best friend and love interest, is keeping secrets. Secrets that eventually will tear them apart, or bring them back together. How far will Nolan go to keep his secrets? How many times will he hurt Alexis?

Then we have Jax. Swoon! I love Jax! #TeamJaxForLife. He is her childhood friend. Brought in to protect Alexis, when a contract goes bad, feelings ignite between them. With the chaos that rules her life, her feelings for another man, can Alexis make the right choice? Can she love Jax?

The web of lies, and deceit keep you coming back wanting, needing to unravel the mystery. When everything is revealed and you think the story is over… Wham… The ending hits you!!! Talk about another cliffhanger! I am ready for book 2!!!! I will read anything Gracie Wilson writes!!!!

Thrilling, Sexy, Heartbreaking

I am a huge Gracie Wilson fan for many reasons. She has a devoted Facebook Street Team (of which I am a proud member). She is so accessible and interactive in the group. When Determined & Derailed went live for purchase, I snapped it up, and I am not at all sorry...

Thrilling: The action in this book is constant. Our heroine Alexis "Lexi" Storm begins her story coming into her own as the CEO of her family owned business. She is making things happen, breaking out of a heretofore sheltered life. Things take a dark and twisty turn. She can trust no one it seems. I felt like every chapter exposed a new secret. I was glued to this book until the last page when I almost had a heart attack....

Sexy: The blurb says it all... 3 men! Lexi has found herself in a deep relationship with three men. Each man compliments her in a different way. Each man would be a fine match for her. Can she trust one of these men with her heart and her life?

Heartbreak: Everyone cries in this book at some point. The pain and loss are so fierce. I am not ashamed to say I sit my Kindle down and took a couple deep breaths to calm down. My emotions were everywhere reading this book-- to the very last word.

My only complaint of course, is that I will have to wait for book two.

Inheriting her family company at the age of 19 was not something that Alexis Storm could have ever imagined but is what happened after her parents died 3 years previous and her brother dies days after her birthday. Deciding to take a more hands on approach after leaving her brothers’ best friend Nolan to manage the place Lexi's choice of branching out starts a whirlwind of events.

They always say men are like buses you wait for one and three show up at once.
Nolan was her brothers’ best friend and the man Lexi had been in love with all her life, he however thinks that they could never be together, for too many reasons. Cohen is a new employee for Lexi, who is willing to put his life on the line for her, he loves Lexi and wants to keep her safe from the catastrophic events that are bound to unfold after her branching out.
Jax, the childhood friend who grew up and became a bodyguard, when Lexi employees him; she finds herself experiencing feelings towards him. What happens when all is not as it seems? Who is willing to die for Lexi? Will she ever find out the truth about her brother’s death?

Wow this was a a fantastic truth by a talented author, all about how you can't choose who you fall in love with and how one seemingly good intention can cause major upset and trouble.
I loved Lexi especially the way she was going to do whatever she could to make sure that the person behind her brother’s death would not get away with it. I will admit I did sometimes want to reach into the book and shake her to make her realize who was telling the truth and who really did love her.

I was not too sure of Nolan at the start as he seemed to just be playing with Lexi but then when you get further into the book you start to understand him better and why he was keeping things from her. I really hope that she picks the right man to be with as she is torn between each of them as she loves them all in their own way. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others.

Alexis Storm has been through the wringer. Losing her parents at the age of 16 she was raised lovingly by her brother lucas who died at 21 if a horrific car accident or so it was said accident.

Lexi soon discovers that there are those who she thought were friends and loved ones who are not and those who she didn't think she could trust turn out to be the ones she needed most.

She is torn between what her heart wants and what her mind wants.

Someone is out to kill her the same person she knows killed her brother.

Who can lexi count on?

This was a wonderfully written story I truly enjoyed it however there were alot of areas that needed proofing/editing much better than it was done. But make sure you have a box of kleenex because the heartache seems to never end.
I can not wait to read the next book in this series.

This is book 1 in the Storm Corp. If your looking for a five star beginning to what will be a equally rated series, this is it. This is one of those story lines and characters you don't want to miss. So unique and entertaining. It is full of drama, suspense, romance, heartbreak, etc.. All the themes and components to make a fun attention grabbing read. Name it --this one has it. Be prepared for an emotional roller coaster. Your heart will be ready to burst. I had a couple walk away moments. I was so heartbroken. Then I had times I was screaming for some attitudes to be adjusted. So well written with those amazing character roles to bring it to life. You feel like your inside and standing with each one. Oh you won't like everyone, but you will definitely appreciate and recognize their support and importance to storyline. Then you will fall madly over some. There really is just so much positive. Excellent writing with superb style and format. I highly recommend. Magnificent !!!!! I can't wait for book 2. AndreaGH

This is a confusing book in the beginning. But if you can sort out the flashbacks and stick with it you won't be disappointed. It is a story of what one woman does with the grief life has dealt her. She now has a family business to run. Alexis is determined to do just that. This is her family legacy. All she has left. Well, Tory and Nolan are there for her. They will always be by her side.
When she starts to put the pieces together of the tragedies that have plagued her family, she strikes out on her own to bring the ones responsible to justice. Despite the horde of hunky bodyguard she has hired to protect her, her life becomes very dangerous. Bringing down the bad guys can be bad for your health! Then she finds there is a traitor in her midst. She prays it is not Nolan or Tory. Tory has been like a father and Nolan has always owned her heart.
There is a cliffhanger, waiting for the second book is going to be hard!

Gracie has done it again!!! Instantly hooked!!

Alexis Storm has had her life turned upside down in more ways than one. She has lost her parents and brother. She now runs a company with her late brothers best friend. I read this book twice.
I had to. I had to make sure I didn't miss anything. Gracie did a fantastic job breathing life in to these characters. Something that she excelled in with the Lonely Girl as well.

Alexis storm has a multitude of issues, all stemming from her brother's disappearance. Throw in a love square and you have a recipe for success!

Gracie is the queen of love triangles! More grown up vibe vs the lonely girl series. Lexi has a lot of drama for a young adult, but handles herself well. The last word in the book is like OMG! Ready for the next book so I can know what the heck happens.

In general: Complicated start of a CEO career.

Main characters:
- Alexis ‘Lexi’ Storm. CEO of Storm Corp., a firm dealing in the digital aspects of weapons. Now at the age of 21; her dad and mom died when she was 11 years old.

- Lucas Storm. Her older brother. Lexi’s guardian till his death when Alexis was 20 years old.

- Nolan Nathan. Lucas’ best friend and executive manager and real boss of Storm Corp while Lexi finishes her computer science and materials-engineering studies. Since many years Lexi has a secret crush on him. A few months before Lucas’s death she confessed her love to him. But he told her he wants her only as best friend.
At the start of the book Lexi wants to be the real CEO of Storm Corp, the
company she owns after Lucas’s death.

- Tory. Lexi’s live-in-butler, driver, bodyguard and confidant. He knows Lexi since she was a kid for he already had the same position for Lexi’s parents. He’s like a father for her.

- Cohen Price. A gorgeous looking computer genius. Lexi want his help with the execution of a new missile contract, her first own project as active CEO of
Storm Corp. In his free time he’s a very talented singer, performing in a bar. Lexi buys the bar on a whim and wants to turn it into a nightclub with the name
‘Cadenza’.

- Maxwell Finch. Former owner of the firm bought by Lexi to execute her new weapon project. Now intermediator in selling the missiles. But he has his own agenda and turns out an opponent of Lexi missile plans.

- Oliver Lawrence. For her missile project Lexi needs more security men. One of the bosses of them is Davey, Oliver’s dad, and an old friend of Lexi’s father. So ‘Oli’ and Lexi met when they were little kids. Now he’s a big, fine looking bodyguard.

The authors, Gracie Wilson and Julia Bright describe the many, tenseful complications in Lexi’s love life and her performance as a young, inexperienced, but smart CEO and nightclub-owner. In her missile project she has to deal with opposition and treason and her love life is complicated: she’s physically attracted to three men: her ‘old’ crush Nolan, who gives mixed signals and is overprotective. Then Cohen, the talented singer and genial computer nerd, but can she trust him? And at last there’s Oli, her quiet, strong and trustful bodyguard and friend when she was a little kid. With all three she kissed, but she cannot make a choice. And that - for me - was a weakness in the plot. How can a smart, independent woman as Lexi easily fall repeatedly for the physical attraction of three men without making up her mind? Why is she so indecisive?
At the end the suspenseful, well written book ends with a kind of cliffhanger. So I’am looking forward to the next Storm Corp book in this series.

This book read like a soap opera, there was so much drama happening. A lot of the supporting characters were one-note, particularly Nolan. I kept trying to justify Lexi's actions by reminding myself it's because of her age, but really, there are only so many things you can excuse. I mean really,  she says she won't trust anyone but the she trusts men she barely knows (ok, yes, she didn't trust Cohen with everything,  but it was pretty close). Because we knew so little about the three love interests, I didn't fully believe her chemistry with any of them. And I didn't understand the dramatic cliffhanger-- why does Lexi think he needs saving? It was a decent read, but honestly, I don't think I am going to go on part two of this roller coaster.

I don’t even know where to begin! Action, suspense, drama, and plenty of hot men to keep me reading well into the wee hours of the morning! This book definitely brought on some strong emotions! I wanted to junk punch one character , smack Alexis, hug Clark, swoon for Oli, and I was disappointed in another character! So much, but oh so flippin’ good!!! This book ends on a cliffhanger. Now, I don’t want to know what happens next, I NEED to know. I’d definitely pay to see this if it were a movie!

I loved this book. I stayed up way too late last night finishing this book, devouring the entire book in one sitting.

Alexis Storm inherits her family's company at the age of 19 after her parents died 3 years ago and her brother dies right near her birthday. After leaving the company in her brothers' best friends hands for a while, she decides to become more involved with the running of the company. This leads her into all kinds of problems and danger.

This is a well written novel that keeps you guessing and really develops the characters. I cannot wait for the next book in the series to come out.

Gracie Wilson is the queen of the love triangle, no wait is it a square, no what comes next in the number of sides!!! And you won't know who you are truly rooting for the girl to end up with until it is all said and done. Her storytelling is amazing and her characters come to life in a way that you simply cannot set her books down and this is no exception! You laugh, you cry... There is action, there is romance, there is intrigue. I can't wait for the next book in the series because I need to know what happens next to this cast of characters and world I have been drawn into. Overlook the editing flaws... It is worth it.

This is the second book I have read of Ms. Wilson's. She may have become one of my new favorite authors.

There are so many twists and turns and suspense in this book. Nolan, Jackson or Cohen. Three men love Lexie and she loves them as well but they all have secrets they have to keep in order to protect her and keep her alive. Who can Lexie trust? I sure hope there is a second book in this series as there are so many unanswered questions. Including a surprise at the end of the book that will blow your mind.

Lexi has learned to step in to her family’s shoes
This is my 2nd book by the author and I was instantly drawn into Lexi’s world. Lexi follows in her deceased brother’s footsteps with missile production, and what follows is a “who done it” of suspense, drama and love. You’re unable to stop turning the page to figure out who did it and what secret is being kept. Will Lexi survive and find love? You have to read to find out and will be surprised by the plot twists. I am sure hoping there is a sequel coming soon.
