Regis planea entrenar a Max, para que llegado el momento sea él quien lo mate, Max, cansado y adolorido, se refugia en Jubel, quien aún permanece un poco complicada por no saber como hacerle saber sus sentimientos a Max, se acerca una caza, en la que Max participa, con la protección de Jubel, quien se queda con Liche y sus amigas, protegida con un collar mágico, regalo de Regis, perteneciente a su madre, enterándose así que ella la amaba muchísimo, mientras Regis continua planeando su siguiente movimiento, se reencuentra con su amigo, quien le hace saber que en la mayoría de edad de Jubel recuperará todos sus recuerdos sellados, la guardia de Ploen, Gerard y el resto tambien participan, por lo que Jubel queda solo con las chicas, Mikhail, quien contiene a una bestia para soltarla y que ataque a Liche, fingiendo salvarla y poder pedir su mano, pone manos a la obra. Regis es descubierto por el emperador y para salvar al mago, amenaza con su propia vida, pues de morir uno, el otro también lo hará, pero llega Jubel a impedirlo, Max presiente que algo va mal y regresa en busca de Jubelian, quien ve cambiar a su padre y aunque se resiste la ataca, siendo defendida por el mago, Regis vuelve en sí ante la voz de su hija, el mago la saca de ahí para no ver a Regis en ese estado, siendo consiente por fin de cuanto sufre su padre, se encuentra con Liche y Max, pero la bestia ataca, despertando la magia de Liche para salvar a Jubel, finalmente Max y su doble Victor lo derrotan, la caza termina y el emperador entrega el premio a Maximilian, quien se quita el antifaz, revelando ser la pareja de Jubelian, y señalando la obvia intervención de un tercero, condenando el haber puesto en peligro a su amada y hermana :)), Regis y Jubel tienen un momento precioso, donde ella lamenta no haber sido consiente de su dolor y más tarde Regis cuestiona a Max para saber si esta listo para ser emperador, a lo que accede, haciendo que le encargue a su preciosa hija :((. Finalizamos segunda temporada.
Regis y Max planean sus pasos, Regis pide protección para su hija en caso de que él mismo intente dañarla y cuando habla se su sacrificio, Jubel se incorpora a la conversación, negada a perder a su padre, apoyada por Max, quien no piensa dejar morir a su maestro, por lo que planean un nuevo rumbo.
Días más tarde, Max planea pedirle matrimonio a Jubel, pero es orientado por su compañera skskjs, quien le hace saber que podrían tratar mal a Jubel, asegurando que puede matar a todo el que lo intente aksjaj, al final decide esperar, los Ploen pasan momentos preciosos juntos, hasta que planean salir y Max se les une de imprevisto, molestando a Regis ajsjaj, un par de peleas verbales y miradas feas después, Regis acepta que los acompañe por berrinche de Jubel, visitan la tumba de su madre y pasan el día juntos.
Mientras, Liche es persuadida por su madre para hacer cosas que no quiere, siendo cuidada por su nueva escolta, Victor, quien la acompaña, no por órdenes de Max, sino por decisión propia :3, Liche comienza a aprender a usar su magia con ayuda de un ente bajo el dominio de su padre y cuando se siente perdida, Victor la acompaña, pasan el rato juntos, le cuenta sobre su padre y la bestia y Liche comienza a aclarar sus ideas, Jubel continua con su ceremonia de mayoría de edad y se conflictua por no saber a quien darle la primera pieza, a su pareja o a su padre, llegado el día finalmente escoge a Max, pero le cede el resto de los bailes a su padre y le pide que no piense en su muerte y la acompañe en todos sus cumpleaños. Al finalizar Max le pide matrimonio y Jubel acepta, diciendo te amo por primera vez (soy lágrimas), pero al caer la noche se desmaya, entrando en un sueño profundo, Regis indica que es la magia rompiéndose y sus recuerdos regresando, confiesa que Jubel es una maga y tomando su mano y haciéndole saber lo mucho que la ama, comenzamos un viaje en el pasado :(

I was initially delighted when I started reading this manhwa, especially since many of the previous series I had read were emotionally heavy and traumatic. In contrast, this one felt lighthearted, entertaining, and genuinely funny. One of its strongest points is the cast of characters and the constant misunderstandings between them, which created many amusing and enjoyable moments. The emotional dynamics between Juvelian, her overprotective father, and the crown prince who is deeply devoted to her were particularly compelling and were the main reasons I kept returning to the story. However, my experience with this manhwa was repeatedly affected by its pacing. I first put it on hold because the story felt unusually slow, and when I attempted to reread it months later, I found myself struggling with the same issue. The inconsistent translations I encountered also made it difficult to stay fully immersed, as some scenes lost their emotional impact and flow. This month, I finally decided to give it another chance and was able to finish it. While I enjoyed parts of the journey, it was undeniably a long read, and there were several moments when I considered dropping it because the story felt like it was dragging. Unfortunately, by the end, I felt that the series never fully lived up to the expectations I had built from its premise and character relationships. Although the characters remained likable and the family dynamics were still one of its strongest aspects, the overall story eventually felt average, with few standout moments that left a lasting impression. Overall, it was a good read, but not a memorable one. The entertaining characters and relationships kept me invested long enough to reach the end, but the slow pacing and lack of significant payoff ultimately lowered my overall impression of the series.

this manga made me cry unexpectedly. i thought the duke would be a shitty dad, turns out his daughter has him wrapped around his fingers but due to some unfortunate event, he couldn’t express his love for her. what’s worst is that the duke’s wife is dead and he can’t forget the happy memories, so the grief that he has been experiencing this whole time has just been weighing on his mind. can we bring back the wife too??! jubelian and max are such endearing characters. like with her father, jubelian has max wrapped around her fingers. he’s an absolute blushing, shy cat in front of her while a devil when facing others. i loved the interactions between max and legis as well. with legis's protectiveness, he can never let his daughter be with someone unworthy, even if that person is his disciple.
overall, i totally had a great time. i wished legis and amelia had a better life together and that jubelian had a better childhood growing up. nonetheless, i wish them eternal happiness. they’ve been through too much.

Chapters 81-96
Honestly, so much happened in this Volume from Beatrice's inclusion to Juvelle's fan club and a ton of lore drops on the Circe's Ring and Legis' past. We get to see characters at their lowest and their best, and it's all very emotional. It took a while for me to get through this volume, considering just how dense it was with the backstories and side characters' scheming. I'm not sure my heart is ready for what's to come, but the plot is just so well thought out and the characters' sadness breaks my heart, and happiness heals it.. I will need the ex-pycho Mikhail to rot in a dungeon, the empress to learn how she isn't qualified as a parent, and the Emperor to literally experience hell on earth. The rest deserve the world and all the love in the world. Imma need Legis to lock in and break this curse cause I can't be sobbing over another gravestone so soon.
The main trio is unmatched in terms of chaotic, lovely vibes, and I'm pleased to see how the story is progressing well past the original timeline's tragic end.

This progressed the plot and was mildly entertaining.
I am not sure what it is, maybe that the penultimate scene from the beginning, the whole premise of the story, has passed with a different outcome. So, I am not sure how some of the events that happened in this are things the FMC was able to know about beforehand, how they moved the story to the point it showed at the beginning, and how it could possibly resolve. This is more about the father character than the FMC, which is disappointing because the redemption of the FMC is a strong plot line.
I am still interested in reading the last two translated volumes when they become available later in 2026.

I think we're slowly approaching the end. Max reveals who he really is, Trice discovers her magic, and we learn the rest about her father. And honestly, I was so moved by what happened to him. I had to cry, to be honest. What he did and is still doing to protect his daughter is amazing. The story has gained depth and is definitely not a simple, normal, cheesy thing like I thought at the beginning. I love how well the story has developed, and I'm excited to see how it ends and hope for a happy ending.

max’s hilarious singular brain cell isn’t enough to hold my interest in this series 😭 i do think this volume was funnier than the last one but like honestly idgaf about fafnil and the dad’s contract and all the other political machinations, which is clearly the direction this story plans to head. if the seeds for these plot lines had been planted earlier then i may have been invested in them but i literally only came for the dumb trio shenanigans and they look like they’re slowly dwindling 😔

In this volume, the burden is revealed, reaching a climax that you will find yourself holding your breath. All the protectiveness through sacrifices doesn't feel overly done, rather, it makes me more emotionally invested in the characters. This manhwa is precious on the father-daughter relationship (some scenes moved me) and my only complaint is that Juvelian might be a too soft villainess. Eager for the sequel!

We learn more of the connection between the king and the duke, someone needs to unalive the king asap that piece of shit.
Why is the queen hiding her pregnancy tho?
The image of the duke and his wife were so pretty. He sure loved her and his devotion is still strong.

Great story! Enjoyed the twists and turns throughout the series; though a bit slow to start, there was good character development. The there are parts of the story that are so heartbreaking, and some of the revelations are both so heartbreaking and heart warming. This series definitely had me in the feels. The ending was just so cute.

Duke Floyen really has my heart!!!
That man is just perfect in every way, and I love him for it.
I'm really liking Beatrice too. She has so much of her brother in her it's amuzing to see them collide and yet, Maximillian cares and protects her like the little sister she is. The way both of them "fight" for Jubelian is adorable.
Can't wait for volume 7!
