J.M. Nash was born in Portland, Oregon, but born and raised in SW Missouri. She found her love for reading and writing at a young age. Writing her first story in 6th grade for a class project. And the love grew from there. She is a contemporary romance author who adds a little twist in her stories. She a wife, mother of three wonderful children and half a dozen fur babies. Her favorite time of the year is fall. And when she is not writing or reading, she is enjoying some down time at the pool, river or lake with her friends and family. If she could she would go barefoot all the time, but the next best thing would be flip flops. She will openly admit she is not a girly girl. She loves to wear her hair up in messy buns, with t-shirts, jeans and a hoodie. She loves the fall, pumpkins, and bonfires.
There are things about this book that I liked a lot. The idea for a start was unique and different. The characters are developed and they intrigued me a lot - I kept thinking about who I could relate them to and came up a blank a lot. Different is great.
However, this book still needs a lot of work. There are several typos scattered throughout with names getting muddled, Allison for Addison, and many times I skim read because I didn't want to know everything. Sometimes, less is more.
Overall, the ending fell flat for me, although I understand this is a trilogy so it makes sense to end it like that. I guess I would have liked to see a confrontation, an argument, something to make me cheer. The second half of the book was mainly erotica, which will appeal to those who like this. I wanted more story and suspense, less bedroom action.
I found this book in the top 100 free charts, so I thank the author for letting me read it for free. The story idea is great, but I thought it needed more thought.
I have to say I enjoyed this story, although there were some difficult parts that were hard for me to read there were plenty of light parts to balance things out. I found it quite funny & the banter between the characters was great. I can't wait to get started on part 2 Deceived Truth.
Addison William's is living in hell, doing the best she can since the tragic deaths of her parents sent her life into a spin.
Addison is a remarkable young lady making the best of a bad situation, I use the term bad loosely, until she can save enough to escape. She is so strong yet vulnerable, she can be so funny & will bust your balls if need be.
Greyson Reid has it all, money, control, a business he loves & is living the single life too busy to be tied down until one sentence in his grandfather's will changes things drastically.
"Upon my death, Greyson Paul Reid will have thirty days to marry."
Addison & Greyson's lives literally collide very unexpectedly & the experience leaves them both confused.
Can two people from such different walks of life fall in true love so deeply & so quickly?
Is Greyson just putting up a front, living a shame for the sake of the will & his grandfather's happiness?
Will Addison recover & be able to forgive Greyson? Will Greyson even try to fix things?
For all these answers you will just need to read the series for yourself, as always this is a spoiler free review.
Do you believe in love at first sight, or the fact that opposites attract? If you do, then you love this book and if you don't, after you read this book, you might just end you believing. I absolutely loved this book, it kept me wanting to read more right from the start. The characters are wonderful, I love Addison she is strong and independent even though she has literally been through hell. Greyson is a man who is used to getting whatever he wants, whenever he wants it. He is also a strong and powerful rich man who just needs that perfect someone to show him how to pove and that person just happens to be Addison. Well off to read the next book in the series so I can find out what happens next because the suspense is killing me. Thanks for the great book.
I received this book free on Amazon which is always cool! I thought it was fairly well written but there were times when the story went a little off kilter. I also thought the suspense wasn't really there about who was getting into the workplace and hanging around. There could have been a bit more tight writing to clear that up. I did like that the story was very long but I was annoyed at the cliffhanger ending after investing so much time. For a book this length there should be an ending and then the next one should be another instalment.
Overall I enjoyed the story and look forward to reading the second book.
I absolutely loved this book. Addison and Greyson have to be the perfect match for each other. They are both instantly hooked from their first time meeting. I love how Addison brought out the playful and loving side of Greyson. And I love he he saved her from her abusive ex Stephen. I just wish that Greyson would have been honest about his grandfather's will with her. She now feels like their whole relationship was fake. But I truly believe that he fell head over heels in love with her. All he cares about now is making her happy and protecting her. I hope she will be able to forgive him.
I loved every single second of this book! JM Nash's debut book hits all the right notes. Her writing style and character development sucks readers in and has you hooked from the start. Grayson is a book boyfriend that will make everyone's list I am sure. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. Congratulations JM Nash for creating this amazing book for readers like me. I will leave you alone now, so you can work on the next book. I am kind of broken hearted right now!
Love this book!!!Want more!!! If you love Fifty Shades of Grey then you should definitely read this. It is not the same, but has a lot of the same feel to it! Greyson and Addison are awesome characters! The sorry is well thought out and include lots of romance, sex, and action! Can not wait to read the rest of this trilogy!
