Get comfortable and get ready for thrilling adventure that include out to the way places, fantastic journeys, super hot passion and sexy sci-fi men in this exciting collection of romances by five out-of-this world authors.
These fast paced and smooth flowing plots keep readers on the edge of their seats with action, suspense, drama, and romance. The authors bring these adventures to life with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and the well orchestrated drama and suspense draws them in deeper while the passion and action provides lots of adrenaline pumping excitement and the strong captivating characters invite you to join them in some thrilling adventures and out of the way places.
There’s romance aplenty and of course frequent blazing hot sex scenes including but not limited to, menage, voyeurism, mind sex and fantasies. Each couple bring their own unique spice and drama to the stories and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the drama and smoldering passion as each work their way to a happily ever after. To gain back her freedom Scala Raj is supposed to be spying on Tal Darkrunner, not falling for him. Thinking to use Shaxi to do his dirty work, Eril is in for a surprise because she might just be the one woman to light his black hole heart. Dark Runner (LodeStar Series #3.5) by Cathryn Cade
This terrific tale takes place in the world of Cathryn Cade’s LodeStar series. It can be read standalone but you would get more out of it if you’ve read the previous books as the characters in this story have played a part in Stark Pleasure; the Space Magnate's Mistress (LodeStar, #1) but takes place after Captive of Pleasure: The Space Pirates Woman (LodeStar #3). These are part of a sexy fun Space Opera.
In Dark Runner we get to know sexy bad boy Tal Darkrunner a bit better. Tal is the head ganger in New Seattle, New Earth II. You cross him at your peril. Scala Raj has made some mistakes and is recruited to work and spy on Tal in exchange for a full pardon. She is smart, sexy and bad to the bone but she isn’t ready for the chemistry between her and Tal. Tal can count the number of people he trusts on 3 fingers but the new sexy Serpentian is starting to slither into what passes for his heart.
Caution this story has a sexy as sin tatted bad boy, a sensual Serpentian, and a couple of sexually adventurous crew members. Breakout the ice water and strap yourself in for one sizzling hot ride.

Headspace- Calinda B brings the future of Seattle to us with the unique story of Vienna, a woman whose gifts makes her clients experience their inner most fantasies. Cool thing is, she doesn't even have to be with them to accomplish this magical feat.
The one thing she longs for, is something she's never experienced. The big 'O' has eluded her. Her journey to find herself, in the not so pleasant reality of Seattle keeps the reader on their toes as the twists and turns keep you reading on and on.
I'm looking forward to the other books in this anthology.

3.5*. A decent collection to take on a 14 hrs flight

I wanted to love this, but it was a bit of a rollercoaster. The premise was exciting, but somewhere along the way, it lost its momentum. Some parts were thrilling, while others felt overly detailed and slow. It had moments of brilliance, but they were few and far between. It’s good, just not great.

It had its ups and downs. The concept was unique, but the execution was inconsistent. Some chapters were beautifully written, while others felt rushed and incomplete. The characters had potential, but they needed more depth. A decent read, but not one I’d revisit.

Sci-Fi Nights is an anthology of stories DARK RUNNER, LODESTAR SERIES, BOOK 3.5 BY CATHRYN CADE, ASSASSIN’S HUNGER, SHEERSPACE BOOK 3 BY JESSA SLADE, HEADSPACE BY CALINDA B, END OF THE LINE, JIT’SUKU CHRONICLES BY BIANCA D’ARC, and LIKING IT RUFF BY MINA CARTER.
All of the novellas are strong stories I felt could have been great if they'd been written as full novels because of how much I enjoyed each of the characters all the authors wrote and how attached I became to the worlds they created. Jess, Cathryn, Calinda, Bianca and Mina are all phenomenal writers with the talent for creating books that you just can't let go of and have the amazing ability to leave lasting impressions on their readers long after they turn the last page. Sci-Fi Nights is no exception. Each of the short stories stand out from eachother and all of them carry the authors signature traits. For me in each one felt much too short. Because I enjoyed it so much I wanted them to continue on and I wanted more of them, but as they say all great things must come to an end some time. Each of the tales are sexy and full of heat despite being so quick they do well to give you a nice humm in your yummy place.

I've only read a couple of the stories so far...
The Cathryn Cade story and it was a lot of fun.
The Bianca D'arc was disappointing in it's super quick ending. Really wish it had been a more fleshed out story.

I strongly suggest reading the previous books first to truly get a good entertaining, understanding of this book.
Loved having Tal Darkrunners story told. Absolutely fabulous that Scala from book one turns out to be his HEA.

I mainly read this collection for the Cathryn Cade novella. I loved Cathryn's story, hence the four star. The other stories were ok.
