It was a very emotional ride as Korean and especially because I LOVEEE my country. It was a triggering and thought provoking book as it showed about power between countries. Heartwarming because it deals with North Korea and South Korea which is my own country genuinely trusting each other and developing nuclear power for Korea's own good. However, it angered me at the end when it showed the truth of modern politics, that you have to have nuclear power at threatening strength, as Japan begged Korean ambassadors and President to please stop bombing after all they have destroyed and killed. They almost brought down whole of Korean trade and development.
Also, it made me so emotional when I realised that so many Korean people died heroically, loving his or her country from Japanese attack (in the book but as well as in real history during occupation). But I also felt so bad at the end to see Korea bombing Japan with five nuclear bombs and that also Japanese people died. Overall, very important book for seeing truth of modern politics and feeling proud of your country.
