This is a spin off series of the Shaft On Tour series. It can be read as a stand alone, but in order to get the full background story and feel everything, some may wish to read Shaft on Tour first.

My Review:
This is my first time reading Cat Mason and am thrilled in knowing I have 2 more books in this series already loaded on my kindle. Score! Gravity was an absorbing read that has a bit of everything – Las Vegas, suspense, intrigue, humor, strippers, tattoo artists, secrets, murders, sexy characters, steamy sensual scenes, and a sweet love story; all wrapped up in an engrossing story. The characters are flawed, quirky, and likable. The plot is interesting, and the writing is well-paced, relevant, and hits the mark.

So I have been remiss in not reading the Shaft on Tour series (and I have already taken steps to rectify that), but even without the background knowledge on some of the characters, it was easy to get wrapped up in this story and I loved it.
The relationship between Kionna and Luke had angst, but mainly because she didn't want to let herself get to close to him, especially due to her current job situation. Regardless, they end up together anyway, and they're both good for each other, of course until the inevitable happens and Luke jumps to all kinds of wrong conclusions. Surprisingly, that was actually cleared up quickly since that's not the main issue of the whole story.
I was pretty sure I knew who the suspect was somewhat early in the book (it was very easy to eliminate the obvious choice), but just a few more chapters in I added a second person to the suspect list, so while I wasn't surprised who it turned out to be, I was surprised for the reasons behind their choice to do all of the damage and destruction they caused.
I enjoyed the cast of characters in this story, especially the dramedy that is Mitch and Shelby; it's so obvious about those two and their feelings for each other. What I don't know is Mitch's back story, and what's causing him to engage in the behavior he chooses on a nightly basis; I don't know if was brought up in any of the Shaft on Tour books, or if we'll learn about it in a future Artistic Pricks Ink story. Overall, a good story that I'm glad I got a chance to read, and I'm looking forward to reading the Shaft on Tour stories, as well as the future stories on Luke's tat crew.

OK, So I liked this book a lot but didn't quite love it. Not sure what it was but I had a hard time fully investing in the storyline and for me it just didn't quite keep my interest. I will however continue with the next book :)

I freaking love Cat Mason and with each book of hers I read I become her stalker more and more (haha) If you haven't yet read her Shaft on Tour series trust me when I say....its a MUST read and you will not regret it!! It is in this series that you are first introduced to Luke but this book can be read as a standalone so if you haven't read them yet no biggie but you are totally missing out :) Luke Hanlon is the brother to Chase who is married to Hunter Chesterfield from the band Shaft.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, suspense, crazy stalker, secrets, betrayal, suspense, murder, and heartbreak.
This is Ki and Luke’s story. Ki is a dancer but her dream was cut short after an accident. She still dances but not the way she wants to. Luke meets Ki as she is the neighbor to his mother. They are drawn to each other. Luke was betrayed before so he is not really looking for someone. He is drawn to Ki even though he fights it he keeps going to her. The more time they spend together more Ki wants him. But when she is threatened she tries to stay away. As the threats escalate can Luke protect her? Could she live with herself if something happened to Luke? When Luke thinks she betrayed him. He leaves her. Will she ever get him back? What about the threats? Will she find out who is after her? Will she and Luke be able to overcome the secrets? Or is it all over?
I loved these characters and also the side characters. There are some tear filled moments and some anger filled moments in this story. But all in all I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

Another fab Cat Mason story! Really loved this book, but could kick myself for not reading it sooner! Although having waited it does mean, not having to wait too long to get my hands on Mitch and Shelby's story which is due to be released in a couple of weeks.
As for this story, I was hooked from the start, and now completely adore Luke, and all his caring ways. I also loved his friends and work colleagues at Artistic Pricks, especially Shelby, who did come across in ways as a female version of Hunter! Which I loved (especially when it came to dealing with Mitch!!) but mostly I loved the development of the relationship between Luke and Ki, along with all the humour, hot moments and messiness that is life and which Cat Mason always portrays so well and I would happily recommend it to all.
As for this story, I was hooked from the start, and now completely adore Luke, and all his caring ways. I also loved his friends and work colleagues at Artistic Pricks, especially Shelby, who did come across in ways as a female version of Hunter! Never read anything by this author until now and man have i been missing out. This story is romantic filled with action and humour as well as moments of sadness. This book is about a romance that grows over time, and there is plenty of action for the characters individually and together. I loved how the romance grew it was more honest and real to me than those instant sparks type. Luke is totally hot and so a great book boyfriend. Plenty of drama, romance and action a perfect read and introduction to this author.

Loved!
This was great! I had read a couple other books by Cat (her MC series) and saw this one on sale so I picked it up. I loved Luke and Ki. Both struggling in their own ways, but almost like their bodies recognized each other, there was no other option but for them to be together.
I loved that there was a bit of suspense as a secondary storyline, trying to figure out who is threatening Ki and why.

Gravity is about a man by the name of Luke who runs Artistic Pricks with Mitch Now he always seems to have to go and get Mitch out of the club every night as he is drunk. This one night he enters the club where he sees the Diamond dancing. Mitch is always wanting to get a private show with her, She always turns him down- as she never does private show's. When Luke goes into get Mitch out-thats when he first spots her,
Ki goes home and she finds her neighbor outside looking so lost and hungry. She is looking for her lost cat, It seems the kitty got out and she can't seem to find it. Some one has called her son Luke- he comes and wants to know how long she has been left alone? Why she is out side and when is the last time she has eaten?
Ki takes her inside and feeds -calms her down-the kitty comes home. This is how Luke and Ki actually meet. As Ki is his mother's next door neighbor.
That weekend while she is off work- her car breakdowns It leaves her stranded in the middle of the road. Now - Luke's mom calls the shop and tells them at her power is off in the house. She can't get anyone out there till Monday,before Luke heads over.he stops and picks up food, After picking it up he is traveling down the road when he almost runs over Ki's car. He helps her move it off the road and then takes to her his mom. They go down in the basement where as they are working on the power. This is where Luke starts to realize that he has feels something for her. It may be lust- but it is something.
Overtime they are hanging out together, Ki starts to be known as he his girl. At work she starts to receive threats. But she doesn't tell Luke about them. The only one that knows about them is Danny the bouncer and she makes him promise not to tell anyone. Then one night when she is off with spending it Luke her house is broken into. So she has to tell him-call the police and make a report.
Over the course of the next several days there are several more notes left on her car for her. And shots fired at her. Who is tiring to get hurt Ki? And why are they doing this? For the answers to these questions and more. You will need to read the story.
I recommend this book for all readers especially those that love romance with a little twist of mystery in it. Mismousey gives it a firm rating of 60 out of 5 stars. NOW MAKE SURE THAT YOU ADD THIS BOOK TO YOUR READ LIST ON GOOD READS AND THEN JUMP OVER AND GET YOUR COPY TODAY !!!

I was so excited to hear that Luke was gettin a book/spin off series from the Shaft on Tour series. I abso LURVE that series and the authors so it was a no-brainer to read this from her as well.
If you haven't read the Shaft series, no worries. You wont miss anything but it will intorduce you to Luke and a cast of wild characters you will love!! If you have read the series, you know Luke is the most amazeballs man. He is so worried about everyone and doing for everyone but seems to forget about him. Well Mr. Sex on a Stick runs a tattoo shop in Vegas. He is helping his buddy Mitch deal with a bad situation when he sees a hot stripper. Luke is O-V-E-R the stripper scene, thanks to his ex, so he just looks and leaves. The next day he gets a call from a stranger that his mom needs help. The stranger is his mom's hottie neightbor who Luke CANNOT stop watching annnnnnd happens to be the stripper from the night before...SHEW he didnt recognize her!!
Well Luke and Ki cant seem to stop this crazy connection when they are together. Ki is really flipping because she is an island and keeps people at an arms length away. Luke however wont allow it. When Ki is really starting to open up, BOOOOOOM, Drama hits! STALKER time. Ki is freaking out and trying to run but Luke wont let her run........ Gotta love it when he goes alllll kinda of Alpha on her!! *Sigh*
So Ki is freaking because she needs to tell Luke the truth about her job.......ya know its coming......BUUUUT the secret is out and Luke isnt so sweet with how he feels about it :( Ki is lost but refuses to lose this man. They two have some struggles and the stalker is revealed. I was like NOOOO WAY!! I totally didnt see that one coming!!!
I CANNOT wait for Mitch's book. The chemistry between him and #$%^#@Q#$ (no spoiler here) is awesome. If youread Shaft on tour, Mitch reminds me of a mini-Hunter~~~So you know you wanna read it too!!

I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful Luke and Kionna’s book is. I really loved this book, it was so well written, you almost forget you’re reading. This is the first book I’ve read by Cat Mason and now I’m a huge fan!!! I can’t wait to see where this series is going. Great, great beginning to a series!!!

Luke has always lived his life for others, always trying to make sure that everyone else was taken care of and never spend much time worried about himself. He has finally come to realize that sort of life is boring, non-fulfilling and lonely. He has friends, he has family but he just lives life going though the motions until...
The smile on her face is purely intoxicating. It's like fucking voodoo. She's sucking me right in and dammit, as much as I don't want to admit it, I like it too.
Kionna lives a double life; in one life she is the dancer and in the other she is good girl next door. She takes care of her neighbors but
refuses to let anyone too close or allow them to do things for her. She has a will of steel, unless you have eight legs or are the tattooed prick who's mom lives next door.
His touch, his kiss; I am truly starving for them because I am terrified I will never feel any of it again.
This book was never short on something happening. There were moments of humor, lust, suspense, angst, personal growth and of course some love. Kionna has a threat against her and a secret life. Luke doesn't know how to be happy or what to do with this beauty who he can't stay away from. They have chemistry in spades but they run circles around each other because of their excess life's baggage. We also get to meet the other cast from Artistic Pricks Ink and I'm looking forward to more from this crew.
There has to be something holding you to this Earth other than gravity and for me, that's you...

This is the first Artistic Pricks novel by Cat Mason. It follows the tattoo owner Luke Hanlon; if you've read Cat's Shaft on Tour series you'll know him as Hunter's wife Chase's big brother, as his tattoo parlour was where the band went to get inked in Chase Me.
Luke is quiet but serious man; he adores books and art but drives a bad-ass car. He is the epitome of don't judge a book by its cover. He is a natural Leader and those ways follow into over-protectiveness of those he loves versus his heartache/ irritation of his family at times; especially his Mum. He has been hurt in the past so has trust issues and has been alone for a long time as he's scared to open up again; fearing it'll end up the same way as before. He's focussed himself on building his business to the huge success it is now, with the help of Shelby and Mitch; two characters I adored for their scene stealing one liners and ways!!
Kionna is Luke's mums new neighbour and is a woman leading a double life. 5 Sizzling Stars!
Ok so I am a HUGE fan of this author. I ran across her Shaft on Tour series a few months back and I was blown away. Her books are sweet, sexy, naughty, angsty, full of drama, emotional,makes you shed a tear or two, and always have one sexy, alpha, sweet leading man that will become a top book boyfriend! And this book and start to a new series is no different! Spinning off from our rock star boys, she has a new series with characters you just might remember!
This book was amazing. It grabbed me from the beginning and sucked me in until the end and still left me wanting more because I am greedy like that. From the moment these two lock eyes (though they don't realize it), they have a connection that has the possibility to rattle their closed up worlds. This book was flowed well and the characters chemistry poured off of the pages.
This is Luke and Ki's story. Both are closed off. Both don't want love. What starts out as a chance meeting turns into a turning point in their lives. Both fight the connection until Luke gives in. But as these two seem to finally come together, drama ensues and secrets are revealed. Do these two have a chance at a happy ending or does fate have other plans?
Ok time for my swooning moment for Luke! The man is so sweet, kind, and gentle but totally alpha and a take charge kind of guy. I loved Luke's heart and how he put everyone ahead of himself. And Ki! She was bad ass and I loved how she embraced her sexuality. I was rooting for these two from the beginning!
I cannot wait for the next book in this series and for the next book in the Shaft on Tour series!

She is a dancing diamond on stage and Luke’s Dollface everywhere else – a fantasy and a reality yet to be realized.
I could not put this book down. I finished reading and I swear I was panting as though I had just finished a 10K. There was plenty of humor, angst, suspense, lust, love, and passions. There are beautiful people – inside and out, tattoos, muscles, and great clothes. One of the things that I love about a Cat Mason story is that the characters become so real. I wouldn’t be surprised to have any of them drop by, sit on the couch, prop up their feet, and spend an evening watching a movie with me. …and it would be the most companionable day of my week.
Do not get between me and a book from Cat Mason - I will growl like a feral dog! I just have one tiny question: When does Significance hit my Kindle (cause I need it about an hour ago!!)

This book is a spin off from the Shaft on Tour series. You may or may not want to read that series. In my opinion not reading Shaft does not take away from this book in the slightest but while Shaft is very fun and full of laughs, this book is in no way similar. We get to see a much deeper side from Cat Mason with Gravity.
Luke is pure sex on a stick. His character is one that you want to pull from the book and run to the nearest wedding chapel and get hitched. He is everything one would want in a book boyfriend. His only flaw is his trust issues. Luke has been burned in the worst of ways and because of that, Luke does not under any circumstance, like anything about strippers. While most men are chomping at the bit to get a lap dance, Luke could seriously care less. This is explained but I won't tell ya why ;)
Kionna (Ki) is, well, she's a stripper. She's not your average everyday stripper though. It's not used as a get rich quick scheme or used to get lots male attention. When her dreams are severed she does the only thing she knows how and she does it in the form of stripping. Ki loves dance and craves it. She needs to dance to breathe so at night she becomes 'Sabrina' and does what she was born to do. She's really and truly a good girl.
How could this relationship work? Very simple... You gotta read to find out! This book is drama packed and filled with angst. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, Cat threw me for a loop and had my reeling. If you want a book that will keep you guessing and wanting more, then this is definitely the book for you!

Well where do I begin? First off let me say that I absolutely love Cat Mason. Her Shaft on Tour Series is incredible and a MUST READ. This is where you are introduced to Luke Hanlon. I fell in love with him in Chasing Me (Shaft on Tour Book#3) What I can say is after finishing Chasing Me I was waiting on pins and needles to read Luke's story.
When Gravity was released I was ecstatic. I stopped all I was reading so that I could fall in love with my book boyfriend Luke. Yet, that didn't happen. I have a few issues with the book.
I felt that Luke's character that was portrayed in The Shaft on Tour series was not the character that was in Gravity. The characteristics and personality was not the same.
I also felt that I connected more with the minor character more than Luke and Ki. The story line sort of focused on Mitch and Shelby. This book left me wanting more of Mitch than anyone.
The heroine of the story Ki, I just didn't connect with. I understand that she had a great loss, but I didn't understand why she built a wall around her heart? I was left with no answers.
Lastly, I didn't understand the time line. The entire love story and connections take place in a total of two weeks. The love connections that ups and downs, yeah all of that within two weeks?
Ok so overall this book was ok. I will say that Cat Mason has me on pins and needles waiting for Mitches story. Now, the character development of Mitch and Shelby will have you smiling from ear to ear. I cant wait to read the next book.

OMG!! This book was so incredibly brilliant, I am still coming down from my high from finishing it! My heart was beating so fast towards the end!
This is Luke Hanlon's story, owner of Artistic Pricks tattoo shop, brother to Chase! If you have read Cat’s incredible Escaping Me trilogy then you know she is married to Hunter Chesterfield from the band Shaft!! Hence his story being brought to life. And what an amazing story too.
What I loved about this book is Luke's caring nature! I don't think I can find any faults in this man! OMG!!! In his quest to find someone to love, he has to deal with some family stuff!
Enter Kionna, Luke meets her when he goes to help his Mum….what starts out as a neigbourly meet, turns into something wonderful but suspenseful at the same time. There is drama, sadness, mixed signals and the whole book was very well written with some hilarious sayings….
I don’t know what more I can say as I really don’t want to give anything away other than Luke has really done well for himself, creating a successful business with loyal people that care for each other and would do anything to help each other out…who wouldn’t want that in their life?? Swoon!!
I look forward to reading more from Cat. She has a way with words and I thoroughly enjoy everything she writes.

This is my first book from Cat Mason but it definitely will not be my last! I am hooked on her writing. This is a spin off to her Shaft on Tour series but I had no problem reading it without reading those. It refers to a lot of characters from that series but not enough that I couldn't follow the story.
I could not put this book down. I read it straight through in one sitting and am wanting more. It was emotional, suspenseful, and sexy as hell. The characters are so well written that you feel for them and can't help but root for them. Even the secondary characters have a lot of depth and mystery. I'm definitely intrigued by them and want to know so much more.
I adore Luke. He's flawed but such an amazing guy. Kionna didn't want anyone to get close to her but Luke fought that. Kionna was a very strong character too. She didn't want anyone to get close to her and tried really hard not to let Luke in. I loved seeing her open up and bring down her walls. The two of them definitely had their angst and secrets but couldn't deny that they belong with each other.
I can't wait to get the other "Pricks" stories. Especially Mitch's. Some of my favorite parts are with him and Shelby and the banter between them. I definitely look forward to reading the rest of the series and more from Cat Mason.

At the start of this book, I felt like I was missing some of the background story with Luke and his sister and with Cam. Once I got past that part, I loved the story. I honestly was wrong about who I thought the stalker was. That doesn’t happen often. I usually figure it out right away.
Luke Hanlon owns Artistic Pricks Ink. He is always putting everyone above and before himself. He is a great guy. Very protective of his friends and family.
Kioona Slade lives next door to Luke’s mom and that’s how they meet. Kioona has secrets though and she’s basically living two different lives. I love how she’s not only good for Luke, but for his mom also.
She is also Sabrina while she dances.
The attraction is immediate for them and Kionna tries to fight it but she can’t for long.

His best friend Mitch is going through a tough time and keeps getting himself in trouble, mostly getting drunk at the local strip club and causing a scene. When Luke is called on his most recent trip to get Mitch one of the dancers catches his eye. Kionna moved to Vegas in the hopes of being a dancer but an injury destoryed that dream, now to make ends meet and to get her dance on she’s a stripper. When Kionna’s next door neighbor has a mid-life crisis and Ki calls her son Luke to come to the rescue the attraction between Luke and Ki is instant. Both of the two are pretty closed off and it takes a while to build up to a relationship. Once they’re finally starting to get somewhere enter a stalker, and then Luke discovering what Ki actually does for a living and it seems their relationship may be doomed.

In this first person narrator story, the main character is a tattoo artist that has had his heart broken and doesn't realize it. Or maybe he does? His friend Mitch is heartbroken that Luke's sister is marrying someone else and is off on tour with the band. Once again, Luke and Skinner are rescuing Mitch from a strip club. Who is Kionna? I was not expecting to find out who Kionna was! What happens that brings Kionna into Luke's life? Luke and Mitch own Artistic Pricks Ink. Something happened to Mitch at one point that has him over the edge. What was it and why does he struggle so much? What happens with Kionna after she starts seeing Luke? Who is behind it and why? It was not the person, well, the first two persons I thought it was. I never would have suspected who was stalking Kionna. This is a book that I could not stop reading, it was one hell of a good read! I cannot wait to read books 2 and 3.

We met Luke Hanlon in the Shaft on Tour series, and I was super excited he was getting his own book! Luke has always put others, especially his family, first in his life. Now that his sister Chase is finally settling down, Luke realizes that he feels lonely. He wants to find that special someone to share his life with and finally make himself happy. He doesn't have the best of relationships with his mother and gets a call from her next door neighbor that his mom needs his help. When he gets to his mom's house, he meets her next door neighbor, Kionna Slade. Kionna can't believe the attraction she feels towards her neighbor's son. They have this undeniable chemistry, however, Ki has secrets she doesn't want anyone knowing.
What happens when Luke discovers Ki and Sabrina are one in the same? Will Ki be the woman Luke wants to spend his life with? Will Ki be able to open up and let Luke in?
Cat Mason is one of my favorite authors and I love her writing style. I'm so glad to be able to read this new series and meet her new characters. I would definitely recommend this book!

We met Luke Hanlon in the Shaft on Tour Series because Artistic Pricks was where the guys of Shaft went to get their tats done and Luke was the one that had a thing for Cam. His sister is also Chase from Chasing Me (she’s the one with Hunter). Gravity is Luke and Kionna’s story.
Luke is a great character, from his flaws, to his bad-ass car, to his over-protectiveness of those he loves. I absolutely found myself swooning over him. Kionna is keeping some secrets and has a few run ins with danger, but Luke grounds Kionna – like he was her missing piece. Maybe the same could be said for both characters.
Cat Mason has done it again with wonderfully flawed characters with heart, sexiness, and hidden sweetness. What a delicious start to the Artistic Pricks Ink Series.
If you’ve read the Shaft on Tour series, you’ve also met Mitch from Artistic Pricks. He reminds me a lot of Hunter in this story and cannot wait to get more of his story. I think that he has an interesting and heartbreaking story to tell.

Well well well.... If this book didn't just blow my mind.... I f'in loved it....
Luke is one over protective , caring wall of muscle that you can't help but love .....
After always putting everyone else before himself .... It's finally time to crave out his own ball of happiness .... In the form of highly independent, closed off Kionna....
Kionna has spent the last so many years running from any kind of feelings and hides behind many masks.... But one look, one touch from Luke has her feeling a million different things at once.....
Their pull towards each other is stronger than gravity and can't be fought ....
Luke and Kionna, simply rocked my world as their story was jam packed with action, drama and suspense .... I couldn't put the book down....
Ms Mason's once again made me falling in love with her words.... To say I'm excited for more from artistic pricks is an understatement .... I cannot bloody wait.....I'm going to lay claim on Mitch......

Now this is my favorite kinda book to read!
Not only is this a book with romance, a hot alpha and some intense craziness but it is impossible to put down!
Luke is a keeper. He does everything for everyone. So loving and selfless. Sometimes it's hard to imagine him as not only a tattoo artist but a shop owner. Having hardships in his childhood, he puts everyone before himself.
Kionna had dreams of becoming a Vegas show girl when one accident in opening night took that dream from her. She has nothing to keep her hopes and dreams alive. Her mother, her only family, had passed away and she is left to pick up the pieces of her life after grueling rehab.
When Ki meets Luke, her neighbors hot son, she instantly has feelings she's never had before.
Can they put their own pasts to rest and be happy in love together?
I love how the characters in this book are normal. The story has you hooked from the first chapter.
