This one was fine.

I enjoyed getting to see more of characters like Jake, Kav and Cathy but I feel like both Annie and Will are "childlike" in a lot of their behaviour. They are around the same age as me and my husband but often act like teenagers.

The story from the 1930's was very interesting and I love the entire paranormal aspect of this series. I think it is mainly what keeps me continuing on.

I don't really like knowing who the bad guy is from the start of the book and seeing so much of what they are planning and so on. The ending was a little rushed and abrupt as well.

I will continue on with the next one as I would like to see how things end and what the next paranormal element will be.

Bit different from what I usually read, went into it knowing there was a supernatural element but I wasn’t sure what and I hadn’t read books including this before but it was done really well. Nice easy enjoyable read

It may be partly my fault because I hadn't realized it was part of a series, so I've missed and read books in the wrong order.

But too many rouge storylines that don't come to much.
