Six young people from different walks of life embark on a singles’ tour in Derosso, Italy, only to encounter a strip club in town that preys upon the men. Warned to stay away by their guide, two of the tourists give in to their curiosity and encounter the undead exotic dancers within. Lured by promises of untold carnal pleasures, these lonely hearts invite disaster on their group and the rest of the town. Wild and erotic, manipulative and vicious, these feral vampires are not at all romantic…they’re predators.
Six different characters and six different endings, this tale is not for the faint of heart.
What do you get when you take six amazing authors who all wrote a book together? You get one extremely unique and fantastic story! Feral Hearts is a collaboration of some of the most talented authors who each wrote about a character…giving “his” part of the story which leads up to…six different endings! How cool is that! Feral Hearts is a vampire story. A very scary vampire story! You will not find any “sparkly” vampires in this! Nope…the vampires in this story are…well…at times sexy…yes I said sexy and if crossed? They are cold blooded killers! I for one would not want to cross paths with the leader of this pack or is it brothel of vampires? Viktoriya is one mean…blood thirsty killer who will stop at nothing to get her revenge! She is the thing that nightmares are made of and I did read this book with the lights on when it started getting downright scary and I am not one who scares easily! So…if you love to get into a book that will leave you looking over your shoulder when you are walking alone on a dark…lonely street or just walking into your garage at night, then don’t hesitate to get a copy of Feral Hearts. It is filled with a lot of everything a horror story should have...blood…gore…killer vampires…and a group of people who have no idea what is in store for them! Add to that a few erotic situations and you have one amazingly frightening story!
The book had potential but tended to drift too much. A lot of characters who were essentially not very interesting. It is an ok read but I wouldn't recommend the time. There are too many good books out there to read.
