I also have several stand alone novellas and novels.
I am working hard to bring more stories to the readers so they can sit back and relax while losing themselves in the paranormal romance world.

Ok a MUST read! Like any of crissy's books this is a must read. Jamie and yummy bear shifter who is amazing falls for the librarian! And omg a man who reads who is sexier than that? This was amazing and the way all tis is tying together with were chronicles is amazing. Cannot wait for the next book!

We've reached the second installment of the Shifter Chronicles and get to follow Jamie Ward's story.
I love writing about Jamie. The big bad biker with a heart of gold. He may be a bear shifter but he is more of the teddy kind than a monster. He's funny and sweet rolled together with a hidden romantic side.
Bear Claw is packed full of adventure, mystery, and secrets. Our two main characters will have to struggle to accept who they really are before they can even attempt a relationship.
Brandy doesn't know Jamie is a shifter.
Jamie doesn't know that Brandy comes from a very high powered human family who are spearheading the shifter registration movement. Plus Brandy has an even bigger secret than that.
With Jamie working a missing persons case along side Aubrey and a new shifter group threat, Jamie is dealing with more than even he can handle.
Calling on all his friends and trusting the woman he is falling in love with is the only way he might survive.
Now that we've met the characters that will star in the Shifter Chronicles I've done my best to give each their own personality and let them be free to grow throughout the series. Unlike the Were Chronicles we'll see these recurring roles in each installment in the future.
With only 6-8 books planned in the series you won't want to wish even one story!

Bear Claw is book two of Crissy Smith's Shifter Chronicles Series. I read this as a standalone, but believe reading book one would have benefited since some of the characters make an appearance here, but it is not a necessity. This story centers on Jamie, a big, rough and tough, tatted up biker. He's the leader of the bear unit of the Shifter Coalition, and oh yeah, he's a black bear shifter himself! He's compassionate, sweet, and is a real giver. So much more teddy then shreddy kind of bear!
He has set his sights on a cute librarian, Brandy, but how would she handle his alter ego? Most people have a hard time, especially when there are groups trying to start war between shifters and humans. Is she sympathetic to their cause or is she against shifters??

Bear Claw is another great read, second book in the series. Here we get to read Jamie and Brandy's story. Another bonus is of course we get to hear from old and new friends.

Jamie is a bear shifter. He comes to the library so he can see and talk with the librarian, Brandy. Brandy is from a wealthy family but is at odds with her family on the shifter registration law that her family supports. She joins with her cousin to fight the enactment of that law. Jamie is also a member of the Coalition, which is a group of shifters trying to protect other shifters. When he finally asks her out, she discovers what he does and he learns she supports shifters. Her family tries to keep her seeing things their way but can they?
I enjoyed this book. I liked Jamie and Brandy. They have a lot of chemistry between them and agree on many things. I liked that Brandy worried about Jamie and he her as trouble brewed between the humans and shifters. Her family is a bunch of jerks.
My only complaint is that ends on a cliffhanger of the mystery not the romance. I need to read the rest of the series to see who is behind the troubles. I have my suspects but am I right?

Lone bear shifter finds his unexpected mate
This was a sweet cozy shifter book with a touch of mystery.
Jamie is a biker, leader of the coalition, a bear shifter and an avid reader. When he finds the woman he thinks is perfect working at the library he only needs to ask her out.
Brandy work in the library by day but secretly writes erotic romance under a pen name. When this big sexy biker starts coming in and even reads her books she needs him to ask her out.
These two do a bunch of will they or won't they until finally he asks her out. After that their relationship takes off and is immediately fire.
Both of them want what's best for shifted kind and they will work to make it happen. Plus he loves her books. Lol

Really fun story! I loved the world building, tension, and chemistry. The plot kept me on my toes and excited for the next chapter. I felt it ended too abruptly, though. I think a few more chapters to tie up loose ends would have been nice.

Wish things were tied up more securely for the couple, it ended too suddenly for me. If it weren't for that it would have been a 5. I'm glad the author is going for lengthier novels though, she always had been a fav. author of mine.
