Snap, Spirit-Murder is the delightful first installment in a promising new series. Liv has returned to England to live in a crumbling Cotswold cottage left to her by her late great-aunt Ethel. After her criminal husband shattered their lives in the U.S., Liv is desperate for a fresh start with her two children. The quaint village and inherited cottage offer hope—but her new beginning quickly takes a dark turn.
When her neighbors start dying under suspicious circumstances, Liv becomes the prime suspect. As if that weren’t enough, she reconnects with a long-lost aunt and cousin and discovers she may possess a supernatural gift. It turns out her mother once fled to the U.S. for a fresh start of her own—suggesting that destiny runs deeper than Liv ever imagined.
To clear her name and protect her family, Liv must embrace her unique ability to capture spirits through photography. It’s the only way to stay out of jail and truly begin the new life she so desperately needs.
I absolutely loved this book! It’s a fun, engaging read with a fantastic mystery at its core. I can’t wait to see what’s next for Liv and her magical family.

This book is the first in a series about a single mom with two daughters who moved to the UK to escape a scoundrel of a husband who stole millions and ran away with his secretary.
Liv Grantham’s great-aunt has passed and left her cottage and an old Nikon D40 in Fairwyck, England, to her. The cottage is run-down and her daughters blame her for their current lot in life, but Liv tries to make the best of things.
But, the village of Fairwyck is very different from the posh neighborhood in America she moved from.
Working as a house cleaner, Liv is accused of robbery and murder of her neighbor by a Detective Inspector who holds a grudge against Liv’s mother.
Then, she meets relatives with psychic powers that she was unaware of and discovers that she has long-suppressed paranormal abilities.
There are so many facets to this book I just couldn't put it down! The premise was one I hadn't encountered before and I can't wait for… CLICK, CURSE, CORPSE!
I received this book as an Advanced Reader Copy and I am happy to leave this voluntary review!

This was a cozy mystery and a light-hearted read. I'm a bit confused about some of the details of the paranormal abilities the Seven women have and whether some have more than one. I went through a roller coaster of emotions while reading this book. I wanted to scream at Liv when she kept getting caught in the middle of everything but I also felt bad for her because of her background. I think Liv should consider a career change to detective as I felt she was the only one in the book trying to solve the mystery. I wish the book had talked a bit more about what led to Liv's new situation and her family as I feel that would have helped the reader empathize with the characters a bit more. I'm excited to read the second book and continue on Liv's journey.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

There's a delightful cozy mystery but there's also the interesting story of the FMC and how she and her family adapt to living in a new country and to a new lifestyle.
Her old "friends" cannot understand why she left and aren't available to accept that she will be working and accept even low level work.
It's the story of how a woman comes to accept her paranormal power and being part of a world she never accepted.
There's humour, there's a lovely place and interesting characters. I enjoyed it and hope to read other stories in this series soon
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine

What a great way to kick off a series! Boy did the FMC have a lot being thrown at her at once! My heart went out to her.

All she wants is a fresh start, a roof over her and her kids heads and a steady income.

Every time I thought she might catch a break, nope!

This is a great cozy mystery and I love the paranormal elements that were thrown in. I really hope that there are many more books in this series.

While the main storyline was wrapped up satisfactorily, I love that the author opened up more possible storylines.

A paranormal cozy mystery that’s a fun and quick read. The main character is relatable and juggles multiple crises with the grace and ease that you’d expect from someone reeling from betrayal. She falls on her face, cries, then gets back up and deals with it like a boss. I wish there had been more back info on the powers of the women in the family and where they came from or how they came about. I’m sure these things will be addressed in future books.

Received from BookSirens in exchange for an honest review.

This is a sweet little cozy, mystery, full of magic, whimsy, action, self discovery.

All she wanted was a fresh start and a roof over her and her kids heads as well as a steady income

Liv never knew she had paranormal power as her mom took her to the states the first sign of them. Now she must learn to be part of a world she never knew about. With a click on an old camera her great aunt left her when she died she can point and click and see those who have passed on.

This was really fun, a fast paced exciting read. Trying to make a new start in a cottage she inherited with her two daughters Liv meets her neighbor and days later she is dead. Then when her other neighbor dies and they want to arrest her, Liv is determined to find the killer. I enjoyed this book and I recommend it.

An interesting ghostly mystery story. I enjoyed the setting in England and learning about the characters involved. Betrayed and left by her husband after he duped all their neighbors and friends, Liv and her daughters moved to her Aunt's cottage. Lots of interesting twists and turns as the tale progresses to a satisfying conclusion.
