So much was said, and so much blood was shed. As I stood there with blood on my hands, a knife in someone's head, and everyone looking at each other, there was only one person I could think to call—my husband.
Meer would figure out what to do, and he would come when I called. As I stared at what used to be my best friend, standing with blood on her hands, I realized she had shed the best friend title, and became my sister. Zoya and I stared at her, and it solidified that she would protect the Delgatos, Infernos, and Casellis as her own.
What happened in this house of horrors?
Shit… all you need to know is that it was handled.
I didn’t like this book as much as I thought I would, and I’m a little sad about it. I think this book could’ve benefited from focusing a little more on the central theme, which is taking Morgan down. I feel like sometimes that plot gets a tad lost with everything else going on. Now Capella and Aimee exhausted me to no end, and honestly, his actions seemed out of character to me. It lowkey felt like Jahquel made him do some corny sh*t just so Aimee wasn’t the only bad person in the relationship. Like we needed his bad actions so her actions from the previous books weren’t as much of a big deal. Also, that other man recruiting a twenty-year-old into a sister wives situation was gross, and to have everyone else make that seem like it was okay was also nasty. I don't think I've lost interest in a character so fast before.
At this point they need to just own a dag on hospital 😭😭 don’t make no sense. They gon ALWAYS pain the city red when it comes to their family. Aimee didn’t suffer enough for me 🤷🏾♀️…. This family had shown her on more than one occasion they are down for her. I hope she learned her lesson cause ain’t no more chances. No Capella behind jus as wrong… He moving all wrong and playing with fire… He better get it together and QUICK.I do think they care for each other but I do think trauma bonding played a part. That secret being revealed was NOT on my bingo card 🙃. Of course we are team Suga and Meer Cat. He really makes sure she lives the soft life and love that so much for her! They are really perfect for each other. He pours into her as much as she pour into him. Being loved properly is really top tier for me ❤️. Seeing Quasim come more out of his shell makes me excited for his book. Can’t wait to see him and Blair’s friendship shift into something more.Core really fits right into the family. Seeing how his situation will play out definitely has me intrigued lol. And wouldn’t be right if our good sis didn’t leave us on the edge of our seat 😩🫣….. Jahquel 🤝🏽cliffhangers
Ok, now we're cooking with grease. This series has kept me a little frustrated for different reasons. I like both Meer and Pri, but I just didn't love them. I finally was able to connect with them and their story, and I'm enjoying those wild ride. I am SO disappointed in Capella. That came out of left field for me. It's not giving Delgato al all. Aimee is cool in my book, but she was moving foul as well. I just know that situation with Landon is going to come back and bite her and him in the a$$. But Capella needs to humble himself and GROW UP.
Am I the only one starting to feel like each book ends in a shootout and someone gets shot . I want something more than the same ending.
I dont feel like this story was bout Pri and Meer. It seemed to be a story for Amiee and Capella 🙄 I am tired of reading about them 2 !! They have been giving me a headache since Capps book . Wrap it up please.
I also felt like its too much going on and right when you get to a point of understanding it ends and on a cliffhanger. I have been tempted to stop reading but I think I’ve been more curious about what happens next. Hopefully we get to see more of Pri and Meer being parents. I am also excited for Simmy and Blair 🤎 they both deserve it!!!
I saw a few people saying they didnt like the age difference between Skylar and Core but In reality, that happens all the time . Not saying its right but It didn’t turn me away from Core. And let’s not forget Skylar does have a child .
This cliffhanger is crazy! Tasha, it was nice knowing you. Capella, you are your mother's child, unfortunately 🫠. We finally got another glimpse into Quasim, and honestly, I'm so ready for his story! Meer is my favorite crash-out! And Core, I'm here for it 🙂↕️. This final book is going to be intense, and I'm ready for the closure!
This book did just enough of what I needed it to do. It brought the drama, the love, the heartache and scandal. It pulled you further into their world.
Side note. Naheim, honey I rooted for you. How disappointed I am. That's what you GET.
Brandi... Please, play some more. I'd love to see Quasim snap. Honestly, I think it would be entertaining to say the least.
I can't say too much because every detail matters and can spoil the book!!
Whew, let me catch my breath! Capri 3 was a nonstop, page-turning ride. I went through every emotion with this one. So much was going on, I had to slow down just to take it all in.
The madness has finally come to a head, and now I gotta see what the finale is giving. Let’s get it!
Jacquel J delivers another action-packed, high-stakes installment with Capri 3, but while the drama remains intense, some aspects of the story feel off track. There’s still plenty of bloodshed, betrayal, and family loyalty, but the core plot seems to get buried under unnecessary character shifts and subplots that don’t quite hit the mark.
The bond between Capri, Zoya, and their best friend-turned-sister was one of the best parts of this book. Seeing their loyalty solidify under fire added an emotional weight that resonated well. The ride-or-die theme remains strong, and when it comes to handling business, the Delgatos, Infernos, and Casellis prove once again that they don’t play.
Capri and Quameer’s relationship is still one of the strongest elements. Meer is as solid as ever, and Capri calling him in her moment of crisis shows how much she trusts and depends on him. Their dynamic remains one of the most well-developed in the series.
Capella’s sudden character shift: His transformation from patient, loving, and understanding to an outright jerk and cheater felt completely out of place. It’s almost like the author wanted to make both Capella and Aimee equally messy to balance the scales, but it doesn’t work. His shift feels forced and unrealistic, making it hard to connect with his character anymore.
Core’s storyline: What started as an intriguing character arc now gives straight-up creep vibes. A 35-year-old pursuing a 20-year-old, then pushing for a poly relationship? It feels uncomfortable, especially with his possessiveness and control over her online presence. The way he blocked other viewers because only he should be watching her was so unsettling. It’s giving Joe from YOU, and not in a good way. The shootout ending: At this point, the shootouts are overplayed. Every book seems to have a similar climax, making it predictable instead of suspenseful. While the action keeps things exciting, the repetitiveness takes away from the impact.
While Capri 3 still brings the drama and action the series is known for, some major character changes and played-out plot elements hold it back. Capella’s unnecessary personality shift, Core’s unsettling storyline, and yet another shootout make this book feel weaker than the previous installments. The loyalty and family bonds remain a strong point, but the main plot gets lost in all the chaos.
I love Jahquel J, however this book did way too much. Too many stories that took away from the main character. Aimee and Chubbs made me want to chew bricks. The 35 year old man wanting to make a 20 year old a sister wife is ick! Have not black women been thru enough! Give her her own man! I really wanted to love this series like I did the twins, but NO, absolutely not! I hope the final book redeems the series.
Book was chef’s kiss. I’m not going to write Aimee off just yet because she’s being accountable for what she did and not making any excuses. How ever Capella is moving all wrong in my eyes especially since they are married. Before he even found out what happened to his wife and son he shouldn’t have been entertaining Shantel. Regardless of how sneaky Aimee was moving. Then on top of that the things he said to his dad was foul, where was the apology. Big Capp is always ten toes down and he let Aimee have it but still let he know she’s still family. I love how Capri is like a big sister to her and extended grace when everyone was telling her how stupid she was. Meercat ain’t playing bout Big Momma and I can’t wait for Brandi to get what’s coming cause she’s doing to much. I really can’t wait for Sim and Blairs story and Goons and Zoya’s. Overall I’m was up at 6 am kicking my feet and turning the pages of this book can’t wait for 3.5.

I really liked this book but the cliffhangers are driving me nuts. I’m just glad I can read the other books immediately after because I would go insane if I couldn’t.
The tea was piping hot but I enjoyed every second of it. This is my favorite book out of Capri’s series. Still think she deserves a little more shine on her own but hey the stories already written.
I’d just like to say that I knew Capella was gonna cheat. He didn’t have a backbone & I agree that Aimee should’ve been honest about what she had going on I completely understand why she didn’t tell him. He was laid up in the bed with another woman when she needed him most & wanting to be a family man when you can’t even do something as simple as communicate with your wife TUH! If I was Aimee I wouldn’t wanna have any other kids by him. He a sucka fr. All he ever did was accuse her of cheating & ask for more babies.
On another note I love Core & Aimee’s cute nerdy little friendship. They’re both tech wizes & the nickname he gave her (grasshopper) is so darn cute. I wasn’t expecting Core to be on some poly type ish though. Like what’s that about??
I’m on Capri’s the last book. Excited to see how this ends.

This book really had me locked in. I’m soooooooo glad the truth came out bc Aimee really tried it! Now she should have known better than thinking she could be in control. I’m here for them 3 & I know damn well Triflin T ain’t yet that!! Let me find out Blair a ride or die….
Although I love this series, this book felt rushed and disjointed!! Still loving Capri and Meer though. This book left even more questions!! Can't wait for the next book!!
What are we even talking about anymore!? Like for real y'all, what is the plot now? I thought Capri's mission was about taking corrupt politicians down to save her brothers, but now it feels like a free-for-all that is being dragged with cliffhanger after cliffhanger and doesn't really progress the storyline. Now let me back-up and advise that the Delgato brothers books had me in a chokehold for days... even with the recycled highway shootouts book after book. So when it came time for BIG Pri to tell her story, I just knew she was going to shut it down. Sadly, that's not at all the case. Capri has grown and it is indeed a pleasure to read about her happiness with her Meer Cat, but unfortunately, her storyline is getting overshadowed by all the background noise of all the other characters. Aimee and Capella need to be in the young adult section somewhere because all the lying, reckless behavior with ex's and now cheating... Nah fam, us grown-ups are good on that. Sim and Blair just need to be together already- I promise all of us are way past ready for them to just get that over with. Then this almost middle age man trying to turn this 20 year old young mother out with his poly ways is really giving me the ICK- and it makes me sad because I really liked Core's techy street-smart character. *insert sigh* I liked and have rooted for all these characters for 13 books now, but I think I am about ready to get off this ride now.
I’m not even going to ease into this one. Let me be very clear: Tasha needs to die. Old girl has crossed the point of no return. The fact that she lined up my man Cappadona? The audacity. The sheer disrespect. That was the most roach-infested move I’ve ever seen in my life, and I am not okay. I’m livid. I want her handled in the most brutal, no-coming-back kind of way.
And while we’re at it… Capella. Sweet, foolish Capella. He need to get bopped side his damn head!!! How do you mess up once and then keep returning to the mess like it’s your job? If it was a one-time slip okay. Still not cool, but we could chalk it up to high emotions and tension. But you went back? Multiple times? Meanwhile, your wife is sitting there, waiting on you to grow a brain and act right. I didn’t even know they were married and now I’m madder.
This book had my head spinning. The drama? Unrelenting. The tension? Sky high. The betrayal? Still fresh. But when I tell you I screamed when Cappadona got shot? No. NO. Absolutely not.
I need peace. I need answers. I need revenge. So yes, I’m going straight into Book 3.5 right now. I refuse to end my day like this. I need closure. I need Tasha gone. And I need my man alive and whole.
Girl. I’m so over this. Aimee gets no sympathy from me, they tried it with turning it on Capella and I’m not sold. He made bad decisions, yeah but his situation is just like Capri… he didn’t start moving funny until Aimee did so idk what to tell you. I’m not saying it’s right, I’m just saying that it’s Aimee’s fault LOL cause they don’t even know that she was about to be in that car “running errands” with her son in the back AND was giving him 10k more. And while married? Please don’t piss me off. I think that’s way worse than cheating imo. But hey, it’s giving love triangle all over again but Aimee is Naheim (makes sense) and Shante is Kincaid. Core with his poly bs… I mean, I guess. That’s not really my cup of tea and Skyler being 20 is weird af idc how you slice it up. 15 year age gap is insane and he’s talking about she’s mature for her age and he’s not interested in most women his age… yeah that’s exactly what a groomer would say fcking weirdo. Now the ending, sigh… Tasha’s head is filled with marbles so she’ll get hers as will Morgan’s sick ass.
After Capone, the rest of the books should have just been titled The Delgatos. Like others have said, this did not feel like Capri's book. My reviews are becoming repetitive, like these books, because nothing is different. The entire Morgan/Rich situation, which seems like it should be the main story, feels more like a side story that's been thrown in randomly without being fully developed. At the end of Capadonna we were led to believe Morgan had it out for the twins and it was a serious situation that needed to be delt with immediately, but in Capri's books all I'm reading about it Morgan tryna get his dick wet. Instead, we got way too much of Aimee and Capella's drama. I have a feeling this is building up the backstory for their books in the future. And why such a shift in Capella's character? Now he's putting his hands on women?? The direction these two characters have gone in just seems so unnecessary, and it's disappointing.
The writing is still bad, and the editor should be fired.
I was enjoying this series a lot but at some point it is losing focus and getting a bit too convoluted! It seems as if it was filler to set up for the upcoming books, we hardly got Capri and Meer who the book is about. Aimee and Cappella just don’t do it for me, also Aimee using the nickname “Honey” when she is SO young has been giving me the Ick since Cappadonna! I want to finish the series though because I would love to see how everything ends for Capri and Meer, also looking forward to Quasim and Blair. Also I would love for there to be some sort of variety in the action scenes outside of shootouts.
I know Aimee was dead wrong, but for them to act like they were really rocking with her and be so surprised that she felt like she didn’t have a family was wild—especially Erin. Like, girl bye. The only peoples who’s anger made sense was Capp and Capellas.
I was not ready for that ending! I’m going through so many emotions right now. Brandy is just wildin and messing with everybody. Morgan is truly getting what he deserves with his sick twisted self. Chubbs is doing too much, his feelings are very valid, but Shante is going to be a problem! I can’t wait to see how it turns out with Core, Skylar & Jeffie!
I’m not commenting on anything else at all! Join the ride of a live time if you haven’t already! Miss. Ma’am, I need the last episode ASAP!!!
I know Aimee was wrong but no one gave her the grace that maybe she could have been going through postpartum depression. I am so disappointed in Cappella. I can see if he and Aimee were just girlfriend/boyfriend but they are married and he wanna pull this. Shante outta know what kinda family she messing with to be bold enough to send Aimee that picture. I hope Capp alright. Tasha doesn't know how bad she done fked up but she about to find out.💙💙
Ms. Jahquel wrote THEE hell out of this book. I experienced a myriad of emotions while reading this episode. Some chapters had me so stressed that it had my heart racing. Some chapters had me so angry, I wanted to bust some caps right along with them. And some chapters were so freaking hilarious, I was literally laughing out loud. Since starting this Delgato journey, I truly see the growth in Ms. Jahquel’s pen with each book. Chef’s kiss!
The layers of story, the way I’m overly invested in each of these characters. You can tell when an author is full invested in their words and the way Jahquel crafted this one is something else. From page to the end I was locked in and now I find myself stressed. 3.5 can’t come soon enough.
