Pulled from the cosmos, I was given a second chance by the most beautiful goddess I’d ever seen. I was chosen to be her Archon. A boon that came with an infusion of magical power to build a new body with perks and strength to fight for our cause.
After hitting submit, I was thrust into a new world, starting from ground zero. With no money and no followers, my only ally was a shortstack Head Priestess who needed my protection. With inquisitors bursting down our door, I had to act fast. If they killed her, my new life would be over before it began.
With the gifts blessed to me and my wit, I’m ready to swoon alluring queens, burn pirate settlements to the ground, and build my own kingdom to share with gorgeous women at my side.
Easier said than done when I carry the surname of Blackthorn, a foretold harbinger of death who is supposed to change the world forever.
With the number of my enemies growing with each passing second, I need to learn how to grow and control the magic within me. Luckily, I met a foxy sorceress who is keen to see me succeed.
LITRPG/Gamelit elements, multiple love interests, and the progression of an overpowered main character
Really cool story about an average dude getting Isekai'd to a world that worships dragon gods and each nation is loyal to one god (ish). The MC is likeable and the characters are solid. I'm not a fan of the first sheepkin LI but that's just personal preference. it's an empire builder and the MC is super OP (as in, archons are peak existences on the planet) but there's still very interesting fights and challenges for him to overcome as he creates an empire from scratch. the second book is a lot like the first and I'm looking forward to the third and hope it keeps going.
Author makes it clear that he is going to have the MC be an idiot very early in the book. So if you hate idiot main characters, then this book is not for you.
The main character is boring. Typical Isekai protagonist, just enough characterisation to allow the reader to slip into them. He gets all of the magical spells to have a bigger penis, but then the sec scenes are long, drawn out, and deathly boring.
Honestly, the cover art is the best part of the story.
The MC is overpowered and dumb.
The antagonists are all weak and barely there.
The Big Bad Evil Guy is also boring as hell, and I can already tell that the rest of this ‘series’ is going to be a snooze fest.
The character development is stunted, plot development is boring, and the world development is… ehh?
Well... I DNFd this book earlier this year but something told me to continue this book and i finally finished it and i have to say, it was good. I will definitely read the second book when i have time too.
