😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 i am not okay. they're officially in my "made me believe in love” shelf
i was not ready for the cute, domestic fluffiness of this last volume + the side stories. this felt like the ultimate reward after the little frustrations i had with the last volumes. it was all worth it to get to this because this was perfect. i'm really left wanting more and i don't feel like that with a lot of manhwas to be honest. i loved how gunwoo communicated with eui joon in his own way, like yes he may not exactly say "i love you" but you can clearly tell how much he does based on his ACTIONS 🥺 i also loved how gunwoo is wayyyyyyy less toxic than you think he's going to be. their relationship had its bumps but it was so genuine and adorable af. this was such a nice change from other manwha’s i’ve read (not that i don’t enjoy those too though).
also in the q&a, the author saying "the only time gunwoo isn't clinging to eui joon, is when he's working." okay i will go cry again now because 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

No hice reseña en los demás tomos así que haré una completa aquí.
Me gustó mucho la dinámica entre ambos protagonistas. Uno super alegre y el otro serio a morir. Este último solo me gusta porque a pesar de siempre tener cara de amargado (e increíblemente atractivo, raw), de alguna forma eso hacia que todas sus acciones y palabras fueran mucho más emocionantes y lindas de leer.
Yo me atacaba de la risa cuando el rubio pensaba que el pelinegro (se me olvidaron sus nombres, perdón jskajs) no se sentía nervioso al estar a su lado, pero al segundo siguiente se da cuenta de que sí lo está. Me encantaba ver cuando el pelinegro se sonrojaba, sobre todo cuando el rubio lo besaba (los besos eran su debilidad) 🙏🙏🙏
Eso sí, en el transcurso de que se vuelven a encontrar e intentan comunicarse y perdonarse, hubo un momento donde me estresé jskajs pero al final fue todo muy bonito. Amé todos los capítulos finales (y extras) de ellos siendo un par de tortolitos enamorados 😭💖

ok im just gonna review this one instead of each individual vol but i did enjoy this was it the greatest thing i ever read? no, did it pass the time and i wanted to keep going? yes! one scene in particular really stood out to me when ahjussi said “if i like you it means im fucking gay” because honestly the “im only gay for you” trope is so CORNY like. lets be honest here.
i honestly just dont think they had a single thing in common but like if it works it works. they were cute. i wanted more insight on ahjussi’s (honestly i dont remember his name) backstory, but i think as far as green flags go in manwha this was up there with the better ones ive read (not 100% but honestly. the bar is so low) but ya! i enjoyed it ^_^

No but Ahjussi and Eui are my Roman Empire I loved their journey so so much! And i still can’t get my head around how non toxic their relationship was (because most of the manhwa definitely are).
Even if I had read this years ago I still cried because of the ending I am just so happy that they found back together and got their deserved happiness. Also their rings took me out again this is was so absolutely beautiful I cried again.
This manhwa just has a really really special place in my heart and I’m devastated that i finished it again, but it also reminded me why this is my comfort read💓🥹

ok so first manhwa ive ever read, and NO JUDGING I AM TRYING NEW THINGS. soooo, this honestly was fun to read. the characters had good personalities and the ARTTTT, omg i love how the characters are drawn. so now onto plot… idk like i like the story but the romance was not like good enough?? it felt like Gun-woo was lowkey using Eui-joon, like Eui-joon genuinely liked him and Gun-woo had some like lines that had me like “AHHH FINALLY” but like it felt forced. so yeah 3.5/5

Alright this is my review for the whole series so I don't have to go back and add each volume since I forgot to track it while reading.
I read the first 2 volumes of this last year and didn't really care for them so I dropped it. My sister talked me into finishing the series so I've been reading this the last few days.
This kept me engaged while reading honestly because I was waiting for some type of character development on someone's end but it didn't happen the way I'd like .
from the start their relationship wasn't very romantic. ahjussi seems to take advantage of the situation when it first started, is to rough on multiple occasions and if someone says stop and you don't stop it's a red flag for me. I also don't care for love interests that disappear for years without a goodbye and no contact and the. show up again. I had the same issue with operation love. He comes back doesn't care that eui-joon said he had a boyfriend or didn't want him contacting him anymore. frankly I rolled my eyes when be acknowledged ahjussi at the convenience store. to think you can just pick right up where you left off with someone that you left. on such crazy circumstances is crazy. yea he had a sad backstory but he knew his backstory when he decided to get involved with someone.
I also wasn't sure how I felt about Chae. he seemed funny after the first scene but for everything that happened they seemed a little too friendly still after the 3 years.
I was also surprised by eui-joons brother I mean after years of taking care of his brother and paying medical bills and therapy bills after he woke up he just up and leaves it felt ungrateful i guess I understand wanting to get to work but couldn't he do that from the same area he'd been in a coma for awhile if he was renting I doubt his brother was paying his rent that whole time idk it just felt weird to me
honestly I want eui-joon to just stand up for himself more. his relationships were not healthy. I thought it was funny his friend brags about him being able to cut people off when needed but he only did that to one person and some of the advances ahjussi made were worse than a kiss so it was irritating he wasn't keeping that same determination
