I found this book delightful. Full disclosure: I follow the Random Acts of Crochet Kindness Facebook Group. When I found out about this book, I preordered it immediately.
I enjoy the combination of the history of this movement, small, easy beginner crochet projects, and testimonials from both crocheters and those who have found the little gifts in the wild.
Why not 5 stars? Because I haven’t tried any of the patterns yet. They look easy to follow and a lot of fun, but the truth will be in the making. I look forward to trying several when I have time.
If you have never crocheted before, this book is designed for beginners and includes basic how to instructions. That said, you may want to find a how to video, class, or friend who crochets to help you get started.
I am a complete novice in the world of crochet. This book teaches you the fundamentals on how to get started and has 25 cute patterns in it, interviews with people in the group, tag ideas and more.
The layout and design is beautiful and everything in it is eye catching.
The story behind this book is inspirational and the idea of putting something out for someone to find is so simple yet literally changes peoples lives as shown in the comments on posts in the Facebook group.
Whether you’re a total beginner or a budding crocheter who wants to put something kind out into the world, this book is a must! 🤗
A delightful selection of beginner level projects that any level of crocheter will enjoy. I love the book cover and the whole book is really fun and the projects are quick and easy and how can you not love crochet random acts of kindness?! Uplifting.
