A collection of the three bestselling books in The Virgin Society and the companion novel The Virgin Next Door…
THE RSVP
For the last year, I’ve wanted someone I can’t have.
The man my father built his latest multimillion dollar business with.
He’s a decade older than I am, and he’s entirely forbidden.
So I’m officially done being the good girl.
Tomorrow I turn 21. As a gift to myself, I plan to seduce my father’s business partner.
Happy birthday to me.
THE TRYST
Some men are just off-limits. Like your ex-boyfriend’s father.
But when I met the sexy, powerful older man this past summer, he was simply the seductive stranger I wanted to notice me at a hotel, and he sure did.
A few months later, when I’m back in New York, I discover he’s my ex-boyfriend’s father.
That only makes me want him even more. And I’m the kind of girl who gets what she wants, no matter what.
THE TEASE
I didn’t go to the exclusive, after-hours masquerade to kiss my dad’s best friend. I didn’t even know who the masked man was when he touched me like I was his every fantasy.
But when I learn exactly how off-limits my new lover is, I do my best to avoid him the next time.
Then I learn he bought the company I work for, and now my father’s best friend is my secret lover and my brand new boss.
The Virgin Next Door
Ever written a racy message and sent it to the wrong person?
Yeah, me too. Except, I sent my latest Tales of a Naughty Virgin column detailing my fantasies about my hot, charming, thoroughly bangable next-door-neighbor to…MY ENTIRE COMPANY.
When the column goes viral, I get fired for her not-safe-for-work thoughts about the so-called “Mister Sexy Pants.”
Now I need a job stat, so I jump on the first opportunity. And I come face to face with my new boss.

5 stars Harlow: Seen as Daddy's little girl, but not really. She could not wait to get out of her father's house and uses her intelligence and motivation to succeed. She is mature beyond her years due to the things she has seen. But there is one bright spot that always has her heart flipping even if she knows it is just an inappropriate crush.
Bridger: Her father's business partner and a show producer who is a decade older than her. He is a good, reliable, intelligent businessman and a bit of an enigma. He is a sharp dresser who puts on appearances but does not really like parties, spectacles, and charades. He has always just seen her as his partner's daughter and was unaware of her crush.
As Harlow gets older she begins to wonder if maybe it is more than a girl crush, and just maybe she can inspire him to take an active interest in her. She has her goals set and a plan in place. And she is used to getting whatever she goes after. And at the same time, he is starting to see the more mature Harlow as an attractive woman that he actually enjoys being around.
A smart young woman with a seductive plan. A guy trying to resist and keep things work-appropriate. Chemistry and thoughts that just won’t quit. Things could get a little bit complicated and heated. But can they explore their wants and manage to keep it all secret?
This is a seductive, forbidden, small age-gap love story built layer by layer as Harlow initiates a plan to ensnare Bridger's attention. There is temptation, distraction, and sexual tension. But it is also a story of two people with common interests, mutual admiration, and attraction, but in a situation that could be seen as inappropriate and could also cause repercussions for his business and both of their lives.
I adored these two and enjoyed their small stolen moments. The want and need between them are undeniable, but it is a slow burn to get there. But I always felt like Harlow was mature enough and that they felt like a good match despite the situation. She is also on her own journey to figure out what she wants to do with her life. And she is hoping to experience as much as she can with Bridger along the way. Bridger is such a good, caring, protective guy, but he has a lot to lose. These two are passionate and just so good together. I loved seeing them be more vulnerable and finding their footing. But they have to deal with some challenges that could have major life implications.
There are some surprises and fun cameos from the LB universe. I liked her brother, Hunter, and her friends, Layla and Ethan. This is a start of a new series and it captured my attention with forbidden themes and strong, complex characters. I am looking forward to more books with the side characters.
5 stars Layla Mayweather is a successful business owner and online personality as well as heir to a makeup empire. She is smart, hardworking, and a good girl. But she also has emotional damage, trust and intimacy issues. Her dating life has been disastrous and they seem to want just one thing...that she has not given to anyone. Her online alter ego is a bit more carefree, happy-go-lucky, and independent. She keeps her personal and professional life separate...usually.
Nick Adams is a finance geek, tech investor, and also owns a successful business. He is tightly wound, ambitious, intelligent, mature, and a workaholic. He has high expectations of himself and others and is determined to not be distracted...until he sees her at a conference.
It just took a glance to be interested, an invitation for a drink to pull each other farther in, and one hot night to rock their worlds. But it was just supposed to be one night. But life is full of surprises and connections.
She is self-aware and not interested in silly boys and is attracted to mature men. He checks off her boxes and knows what he wants and how to get it, while treating her with respect and giving her all the attention she needs. But there are some complications that make a repeat a bad idea.
This is a tantalizing, flirty, dirty, witty, tension-filled, emotional, age-gap, forbidden-by-circumstances romance. I just adored these two. He is such a charismatic sexy, alpha male but is also a thoughtful, kind, patient gentleman and a good dad. And she is not afraid to initiate and ask for what she wants, but she is successful and independent enough not to NEED him for anything. And she is wary of getting too close to one anyway. But WANT is a whole other thing. And they both make each other want....so much.
I loved seeing them begin to be more vulnerable and trust each other. Despite plans to the contrary, more intimacy and feelings begin to build. And the story is peeled back in layers as secrets from the past emerge and also the secrets of the present are exposed. And these secrets and lies make it a messy situation that they will eventually have to deal with one way or another. But each option could hurt someone and have repercussions.
Her tight-knit friend group helps her with guidance and a push when needed. His son adds to the complications. There are other interesting characters adding depth or drama along the way.
I feel like I have been on quite a journey with these two. Their meeting becomes a catalyst for change and there are so many opportunities for growth individually, together, personally, and professionally. Layla is plucky, smart, and determined. She really starts to come into her own and begins to take control of her own life and choices. And Nick is just simply an amazingly swoony hero. He finds himself wanting to be a part of Layla's life but also has to balance out other parts of his own. There are challenges and obstacles, but I loved seeing them begin to realize what is really important in life. It is an emotional and beautiful love story with with, heart, and plenty of steam.
5 stars Jules Marley is a hardworking, sweater-set-wearing, Junior Television Producer by day. But at night she wants to let loose and explore. She may not have experience in certain specific areas, but she is willing to try new things and has a whole list of secret desires that she would like to act on. So when she is able to fill in playing piano in an exclusive after-dark masquerade party, she is all in.
Finn Adams is a divorced single father. He is intelligent and wealthy, and runs a successful venture capital business with his brother, Nick. He has gone through many recent life changes and is getting settled into his new life. He is just getting back out there after his divorce so could not resist an invitation to get back into the scene.
A chance meeting, a hot interlude, and a new invitation bring temptation, desire, and want. These two seem to be on the same page as far as desires.
But when Jules finds out who her mysterious masked stranger is, it makes the situation more complicated and forbidden due to the connections in their lives. They were prepared to enjoy one night but then knew they would have to move on. But they never expected that circumstances would put them back in close contact and extend the temptation.
This is a heartfelt, emotional, steamy, forbidden, age-gap, first-time, single-dad romance about two people with similar specific desires and fantasies. But they are in different places in their lives. Jules is bold, confident, unapologetic, smart, sassy, and adventurous. But she has also had some pain in her past and recurring issues that affect her and she guards her heart. Finn has been treated poorly in his marriage and is just exploring his own desires again while also learning to navigate life with his son. He is passionate, attentive, and possessive. These two are so hot together and so in synch. But there are some things that make it messy and complicated and it could have repercussions on their own lives and those that they care about.
From New York to Paris, layers of truths, secrets, and vulnerabilities are shared as two people start to fall for each other despite their best interests and conflicts. And share a limited time exploring both scenery and their explosive passion while they find healing, understanding, and acceptance. But no matter how right it feels in the moment, there are so many obstacles in their way. It will be up to them to face them and challenge them if they want to break down the barriers and let themselves enjoy their true potential.
I love books where characters show growth and change. And this is truly a journey of self-discovery, acceptance, forgiveness, and healing especially for Jules. She has to find her backbone and deal with issues that have plagued her for years. But also Finn also has the chance to feel what true love and care feel like with someone that actually sees and appreciates him for just who he is. They just fit so well together on so many levels and I just adored them.
This is part of The Virgin Society series but can be read as a stand-alone but there are some cameos and connections from the other books.
The RSVP is the first book in the The Virgin Society series by Lauren Blakely. You don’t have to read the prequel, The Crush but I totally would! I have read every book Lauren has written and this story is a very Lauren book but with a twist. It’s more forbidden, deeper, and the slow burn is delicious. I am soooo excited about this series!
Harlow’s crush on Bridger is totally forbidden but she knows he is the one she wants. She can be patient. She knows she has to wait for the perfect moment in time to find out if he can look at her as a woman and not just his business partner’s daughter. It’s going to be complicated once he really sees her but she just knows it’s worth the risk but will he?
Bridger shouldn’t be thinking about Ian’s daughter in all the naughty ways that he does. It’s not just about the sexual tension either. It’s about their connection, their common interests, the ways she sees him for him. She makes him happy but his business has been his everything for the last five years. This betrayal may cause him to have to start over again. He is torn between something that is his everything to someone who could be his everything.
I am obsessed with these two! They are real. They are raw. They are passionate. Their connection is goals. They are so much fun, flirty, sexy, and just everything. They way they look at each other is epic. It’s hard to put into words…just read their story!!
THE TRYST
The Tryst is the second book in the The Virgin Society series by Lauren Blakely. I am loving this series. Hard. If you read The RSVP then you have met Layla as one of Harlow’s best friends. Well, it’s time to for her story and damn… it’s a unique, sexy, and fun one!
Layla Mayweather AKA Lola Jones had no idea that when she went to a conference in Miami that she would meet an older man who would give her one unforgettable night. A night full of fun, heat, tenderness, and the most amazing dirty talk. He checked all of her boxes but they agreed to just one night. She had to go back to New York and he was off to London…
Then a few months later, he comes walking into her life. In her city. To meet up with his son, David who happens to be Layla’s college ex-boyfriend turned good friend. Plot. Twist. And I am here for it! They know they need to keep their hands off each other but it’s so hard when they have to work side by side while helping David with his fundraiser. Late nights in his penthouse meets sexual tension times a hundred. It’s hot, you guys!! The way he looks at her. The way they want each other. The way they have to fight it. I don’t even know how to explain it. It’s just beautiful and intense in all the best ways.
THE TEASE 6 Hearts
The Tease is the third book in the The Virgin Society by Lauren Blakely. I am loving this series so hard. Forbidden, age-gap, and unique! And oh, so delicious. I was so excited about this couple and damn…they blew my exceptions in every single way.
When Jules was invited to play piano at an exclusive after-dark masquerade party she knew it would be a good time but never expected to find a man, a stranger who treated her like his every fantasy. And she wanted more…
More from a man who she wants to explore with. From a man who not only lit her up but made her explode in lust. One touch just wasn’t enough. She wants it all. She has never wanted anything more than one more night with her phantom. Only, it turns out he isn’t a stranger after all…he is her father’s best friend.
Two words. Off-limits. Two more words. One night. That’s all it can ever be. One explosive, fantasy-filled, unforgettable night. Then they need to act like it never happened except, like I mentioned, it was unforgettable. So, when they have to go away for a week together to the city of love, it’s hard to resist…
I ♥️ Finn & Jules!! They not only have their filthy kinks to share but they have so much more. Finn is a single dad who loves his son fiercely. Jules is a badass who is navigating through her past so she can move on with her future. Together, they are full of fun, laughter, passion, support, love, and a true connection. They see each other like nobody else does.
THE RSVP: The RSVP is the newest Lauren Blakely book. It was steamy, forbidden, and magnificent. Bridger and Harlow had a connection that couldn't be denied despite their age gap. It was fascinating to read about the progression of their relationship. What started as a crush has turned into something so much more. These two had so much in common and they had that underlying friendship that solidify their bond. I really enjoyed these two together. They were just so cute and when they can just be, Bridger and Harlow were exquisite. The banter and the flirty was on point. I was rooting for things to work out for the best for them. They complimented each other perfectly and saw the bright spots of one another and brough it out. They deserve their happy. I also liked the friendships Harlow had with Layla and Ethan and her brother Hunter. They were family and it was nice to see that care. Overall, a lovely read about finding that one that makes you happy. I'm excited to read more from this series.
THE TRYST: The Tryst is the second book in the Virgin Society series. In this book we followed Harlow's friend Layla as she embarks on her romantic journey. Layla and Nick meet while both are at a conference. They hit it off right away and spent a glorious time together. When they reconnect months later, it is a surprise the connection that is tying them to each other. I liked seeing the push and pull between them. The "will they/won't they" scenarios were fascinating. It was pins and needles seeing when they would just give in. They had explosive chemistry every time they were near each other. Even with the age difference, they were just it. They made sense and when they finally realized it, it was magical. I really loved Layla and Nick as a couple. Even though they were forbidden it was fantastic to see their love. Independently they were just as fierce as they grow their range in the work field. Of course, it was awesome seeing the friend group. Harlow, Ethan, Jules, and Camden were great friends and I can't wait to read their respective romances. Nick had his own support group and it was pleasing to see. Lauren Blakely is one of my favorites and I enjoy all that she writes. She always gives a good story.
THE TEASE: The Tease is the next installment in this Lauren Blakely series. We have meet Jules and Finn previously and now it is their turn to be in the spotlight. I liked Jules and Finn both individually and as a couple. They were really adorable together. I enjoyed their banter and interactions. These two had that instant bond. It was fascinating to see how things play out from there. I also liked how both Jules and Finn has great connections with those around them. It was endearing and nice. Lauren Blakely gives good friend and family group and that was pretty evident in this book. It was intriguing to see how Jules and Finn will navigate the many challenges around them since they can't seem to stay around from each other. They were a great couple and I liked them together. There was so much more to this story besides a romance and it was pleasant to get a little extra. I hope Camden and Ethan get their own books eventually. Overall, a fantastic book. I am never disappointed with this author's books.
I had been anticipating this book for a long time. I haven’t read an age gap romance in a while, and I wasn’t disappointed. I will say this book felt slightly different to a classic LB novel but not in a bad way. It was slightly less romcom and a little more on the angst. I also got a slow burn feel to the storyline due to the taboo subject. But what I love the most about a LB book is her characters. These are people I could be friends with, which then makes it more authentic for me. Even the secondary characters are amazing, and will be getting their own books shortly. I also adored the combination of Harlow’s inexperience with Bridger’s vulnerability and anxiousness plus the way they supported each other was special. They bought out the best of each other. And I couldn’t not finish this without commenting on the covers. Both the kindle and paperback editions are sexy and stunning.
THE TRYST
I’m always happy when reading a LB book. Her characters are people I’d be willing to meet and hang with and the storylines are interesting and intriguing. They have real life problems and issues that are handled and solved with maturity and not over the top dramatics. With this particular book, there’s an age gap (15 years) and a forbidden trope but there’s so much more to discover as it progresses. I loved this couple together and how Nick from the start treated Layla as an equal and didn’t takeover her business aspirations. He listened to her and understood she wanted to achieve goals on her own merit. Nick was also a phenomenal father and when he looses his son’s trust and he works hard to win it back. Layla herself has had to battle through adversity which has made her a stronger woman but also not effecting her nurturing persona. Of course, Layla’s friends in the Virgin Society make appearances throughout the book and there is a hint for what’s coming next. Looking forward to that!
THE TEASE
I have so much going on in my life at the moment that I’m finding it hard to read a book in one sitting, but this one I made time for! I was up late and sat for the whole morning until I finished. I didn’t want to put it down. So many things I loved about it, the couple, their kinks, their chemistry and their ethics. The way they discovered each other from that first party and tried to stay away to then succumbing to their desires, just cleverly done. I liked that Jules could be her own age, a little demure but still a confident woman who knew what she wanted from her career and partner. Finn…oh Finn…what wasn’t to like about him! His fun side with his own brother and their sons, his strong and dominant side with a filthy mouth. I honestly think this is one of LB’s most spicy books to date. I also enjoyed reading about NYC and Paris…oh to see Paris like Jules and Finn did! What made it a rounded full five stars is the connection with the secondary characters as well. They were just as important to highlight certain elements or show support to the main characters. There is a small snippet to what might be the next book - Rockstars - and that I can not wait for.
RSVP Before I read The RSVP, I did something I don't typically do: I read through a bunch of reviews, none of them good. I was disappointed and concerned and confused. I've read a handful of Lauren Blakely's books already and have enjoyed each and every single one. I didn't want to be disappointed in a book by an author I've quickly added to one of my top favorites. Thankfully, I didn't let that stop me from reading the book.
I enjoyed the story just like I have every other book I've read so far by Lauren. Ian is a true JA who should be taken down more pegs than are the barrel. But Harlowe and Bridger are too adorbs!!! I love their story arc. The only thing missing is a beautiful proposal, but considering the fact that Harlowe and Bridger have committed to one another, I can live without it. 😊
The Tease Nick and Layla find love in what I would term as an 'unconventional' way. Growing up, it was grounded into me not to have sex before marriage. "Why would the guy buy the milk if the cow is giving it away?" And other such phrases were thrown around. I came to believe that it would be impossible for a couple to know they're in love with one another if they had sex prior to marriage. Holding out until after marriage cemented the relationship. (I chose to remain chaste before marriage for purely religious reasons. Just FYI.) Seeing Nick and Layla fall in love as they do makes me reconsider and rethink so much about what I have always believed about sex outside of marriage. That's a good thing, right?
The Tease Finn and Jules meet in disguise and become lovers almost immediately. It takes a trip to Paris where they can be together freely and without masks before they realize they're in love. Their story is sweet and romantic and passionate. They have several barriers to overcome, though. Barriers that seem impossible to overcome. I love their story, including Captain Dag!!
I've read the tryst and the tease and devoured them in a night each, this is a fabulous collection of stories from this series highly recommended collection to read.
