Last of the 4 Elements series and this one focused on the youngest Wathinwanit cousin, Fai. She has shown up in the last 3 books and have seen the love stories of her older cousins. But she doesn't really believe love and romance is for her. She is quite feisty and intensely straightforward, not caring if she hurts anyone's emotions. But as she comes to terms with her emotions and deals with family issues, we see her grow into a woman who loves and cares for the people around her.

El último libro de las primas Watiwanich, que pone un buen broche final a la saga, un enemies to lovers intenso que me enganchó desde la primera página.
Fai y Kaprao son totalmente adorables y dulces, aunque al principio tenía ganas de sacudir a Fai para que le conectaran las neuronas y no fuera tan impulsiva rozando casi la crueldad, pero aun así adoro a ambos personajes y esta saga.

I think this is my least favorite book from the series. In a way I was expecting something different from “The fire”.. like I was hoping for a more intense chemistry fire but instead it was more like a petty rivalry. It had some truly funny moments tho. Like I was happily laughing on quite a few parts.
There were a couple of things that bothered me in the book. First of all, the switch in personalities when the couple got together gave me a whiplash so hard. I don’t wanna say it felt forced but it did feel awkward idk. The chemistry wasn’t quite there.. They needed more sparks.
The other thing is that the plot or issue of the book felt a bit underwhelming. I would have give them something a bit more profound or truly focused on a better way to get together.
The cousins couples showing up were great and very funny. Loved Rose she is the MVP. I did liked Fai in the previous books but on this one it was a hard pill to swallow ngl haha. She needed a good smacking.
Also, is it just me or this book was the most ambiguous regarding their intimacy? Like even kisses were kinda implied but never truly mentioned? I know the author is very coy about being explicit but this one was everything in the air idk. I think it was the worse in that front lol
Overall the book had the same easy read feeling. It was not boring. I read it very fast and I was entertained. I do think it is necessary to read it to get the full experience. I was just a bit dissatisfied. I did had my expectations lol

This was my least favorite. Fai is such a jerk that it's hard to support her. And her being a jerk is really the only big plot here. So it really makes it tough. I loved Rose calling her out though. Also then still supporting her and locking her in the greenhouse with Kaphrao.

Not the strongest book in the collection. But, still a fun read. Expected more from the story ‘cause of the setting. The narrative could have pushed more into the mining aspect, since Kaprao’s father is also a former worker. Felt like a missed opportunity for deeper relevance.
Fai/Atjima is cute, but mostly annoying esp in the first half of the book. If this character were a real person, I don’t think I’d last a week with her.

เล่มสุดท้ายเป็นเรื่องราวของ อัจจิมา วาทินวณิช (ไฟ, นายน้อย) นายน้อยทายาทเศรษฐีปักษ์ใต้ ได้พบกับอาทิตยา (กะเพรา, ยัยหนูตะเภา) คู่ปรับสมัยเด็กที่เข้ามาทำงาน ในฐานะเจ้านายจึงต้องสอนงาน ถึงแม้จะไม่ถูกกันแต่นานวันเข้า ก็อดมีความรู้สึกดีๆ ให้กันไม่ได้ ถึงแม้จะมีป้าภาณีที่คอยจับคู่ไฟกับคนอื่นๆ อยู่เสมอ แต่ขึ้นชื่อว่าอัจจิมาแล้ว สาวๆพวกนั้น เป็นต้องหนีกระเจิงไปทุกราย ยกเว้นยัยหนูตะเภาคนเดียวที่กล้าที่จะสู้กลับ
เรื่องนี้เป็นเล่มที่ชอบที่สุดแล้วในบรรดาบ้านวาทินวณิช คือสนุกมากจริงๆ แนวหมาแมว แนวคู่กัดนี้ยกให้เป็นอมตะนิรันดร์กาลของนวนิยายทุกยุคทุกสมัยจริงๆ

I think I liked this the most, and maybe just because Fai is my favourite.
What did I like:
Phrao
Fai (for the most part)
What didn’t I love:
The Aunt.
Fire follows Fai, the last of the Wathinwanit cousins in her quest to find love. Fai’s childhood rival/friend returns and all hell breaks loose in the process. It’s Fire and oil - literally.
Fai was my favourite on the show and reading her story made me so happy. Fai is a spitfire, maybe a bit too mean at times to poor Phrao, but mostly that was down to her aunts manipulation when she was younger.
Reading about her failing in love melted my heart a little. She liked Phrao, but like Nam, didn’t know how to deal with it.
The thing that annoys me so much with all these Thai shows is the redemption of character that do not deserve to be redeemed.
The aunt was an outright bitch to Phrao, to the point she tried to physically harm her. Fai should have cut ties with her, but alas.
This was a nice conclusion to the 4Elements series, I can’t wait to watch the show and hopefully get a special episode(s).

This book is a fun, easy, and fast-paced read—never a boring moment!
The Fai family dynamic completely mirrors my own, and the Fai Kaprao brought back my childhood memories with a massive wave of nostalgia. It perfectly captured the comfort of growing up, even if I couldn't even defend for my Kaprao in my own life —when it mattered most.

Es tan lindo ver que todos esos años separadas se amaban en secreto, después que se encuentran, la forma en que lo van descubriendo es tan bonita. No me cansaré de las propuestas de matrimonio de las 4 🙌🏼

Childhood rivals turned into heartthrobe lovers. The bickering words , the fight and chaos that happened in there as changed into lovely moments. The youngest and hothead fai is the best lover among other cousins.

La traducción deja que desear pero, pero, me gusta mucho la relación enemies to lovers entre Fai y Kaprao. Son muy divertidas y creo que tienen un romance muy bonito. Es el mejor libro de los 4 elementos.
