When a baby is dropped on Carr McRae’s doorstep, his first instinct is to send the child back to its parents but when no one claims the little girl, he has no choice but to learn how to be a dad. A contract nanny is his solution but he didn’t bargain for Addison Parker, who is sweetness and sex, in one irresistible package. He knows better than to fall for the nanny but his heart isn’t listening to his head.
Addison Parker falls in love with each of her charges but she knows better than to get involved with the family. Everyone eventually moves on. No matter how charming and sweet Carr McRae is, Addison will not fall for him. At least, that’s what she keeps telling herself but her heart isn’t listening to her head.
It was so unserious, and I had a fun with it! And let's not forget, the book cover is sooo cute so that's a win right there. 😂
Anyway, there was a baby left in Carr's care. She's his cousin's daughter, but the guy and the baby's mom were definitely up to no good. So he decided to keep her and look for a nanny, and that's when Addison came into the picture.
Obviously, insta-love happened, and a bunch of stuff went down in the story. So, there's this fake engagement that's not really fake, a meeting with some potential investors in Japan, handling a business rival, and dealing with the biological parents. It might be a bit all over the place, but honestly, it was still easy to follow.
Also, at the end of the day, what I really care about is the romance and connection between the MCs and their HEA. 🤭
Book info: - Single parent (guardian) x Nanny - Insta-love - Age gap (??) - Novella - Dual V! 💗 - Child abandonment - Explicit scenes - No cheating, OM/OW, separation - HEA (years later, married with two daughters)
Note: - Carr's business rival is the sleazy OM who's interested in Addison. And he put him in his place, as expected. 😂

DUAL VIRGINS!! *Booty shake! Happy dance!!* The best is that they know they are each others one and only!!
Quote (his status), “I want to have the lights on and you might be noisy.” I explain at her questioning look. I prop my phone against a tumbler on the sink and turn on the shower. “This way you can scream all you want and not wake Violet.” “You sound very confident.” “I am but not because I have all this experience. You’re my one and only. It’s because I pay attention. Your body tells me all I need to know.” end quote
Quote (her status), "The memory of what happened between us has me touching my lips, thinking about the way he kissed me. Then Carr gave me the best orgasm of my life. How do I come back from that? I've touched myself before, but it has never been that intense." end quote
Safe No cheating No separation No OW Unwanted OM (our h wants nothing to do with this sleazy man making her uncomfortable) No stupid third act break up No gross condom use Light low angst read with some drama HEA
This review is a summary of events to remind me of the story. I do intend on reading it many times in future but I do want to remind myself on what happens so SPOILERS AHEAD! It's DV so I recommend it of course! We have Carr, a successful business man who is focused, forth wright, matter of fact and so endearing that it makes me want him for myself. He has no experience with women, his whole life was dedicated on work, making deals and to be successful, until he is left with a small crying baby whose paternity is a mystery (it is NOT his). The mother abandoned her because she cannot be bothered. Carr doesn't know the first thing about caring for a baby, so he hires Addison and immediately falls in love, and moves her in. *big grin on my face* I love that so much! His caveman brain said, 'Me want this woman' and it never fails to make me grin ear to ear knowing she is the first, last and only woman his heart and body came to life for! *swoon* Addison is a nanny looking for work and after she gets out of an interview with the unwanted OM, who is creepy and too forward with her, she gets a call to go to Carr's place for a job. She sees this handsome man wearing an expensive suit, face panicking, with a small baby in his arms, and she is smitten. She is a bit worried that when they start their relationship, that it will end because he is her employer but he already made up his mind that this is forever, and is perplexed as to why his Addison is building her walls up as the story progresses. They are on their way to Japan to close a deal, but Carr needs a wife and kid to make a good impression on this family man he is striking a business deal with, Morimoto. He slips an engagement ring on Addison's finger and carries baby Violet out of the plane and they spend time in Japan. Addison thinks it is a 'fake engagement' to convince Morimoto that Carr is a family man, since he is so family oriented, but for Carr, there was nothing fake about his relationship with Addison and Violet. They are his family. He sees that Addison in unhappy thinking this isn't real to him so he fesses up to the details of their unconventional relationship to the Morimotos. Addison is not his wife (yet) and Violet is not his daughter (biologically), so he backs out of the deal. To Carr, they are already his family, but seeing the look on Addison's face made him see that he went about things in a way to primarily close the deal by not being completely honest. It didn't matter to him if he didn't close the deal like it would have before falling in love. He had no regrets walking away from it, so long as his family is in his arms. He wants a family with his Addison, Violet and more little ones they will have, so working became secondary to him. His wife to be and his adopted daughter, are his whole world and all he needs, they have been since they met, and he never fought that feeling. On the contrary, he immediately embraced his role as a dad and future husband, but never thought that Addison would have doubts about his feelings, because he didn't express them to her as he should have. He remedied that of course, but in his defense, relationships are new to them both, so of course there will be miscommunication. One thing is for sure, they are in love and are more in love than ever years later! They see their future clear as day, growing old and gray still very much in love, and I see them still going at it like bunnies! *wink wink* The side characters, the chauffeur and the chef especially are amazing with baby Violet. It shows that Carr is respectful and kind to his staff, who seem more like caring friends. The antagonists, Megan the mother, Dex the father and Remington the unwanted OM who makes my face wrinkle in disgust, are all slimy and detestable. He cornered Addison in Japan spewing lies about Carr, which made her confused as to whether Carr is truly devoted to her. Of course this miscommunication is cleared up. I did not care for Dex (Carr's cousin and Violet's bio dad), but I am surprised that he ended up being in Violets life. Carr is her dad, but at least both Carr and Addison did the right thing by not cutting out her birth parents outright, because she may resent them for that later in life. That act was selfless and scary for them, but they had very strict rules! If either Dex or Megan show any hint that can jeopardize Violet's well being, they will cut them out of her life for good. They gave them a chance for Violet's sake and all is well that ends well. Addison and Carr are Violet's parents, and no one can replace them! This story went by fast, and I wish it were a bit longer. The 'angst' was just the right amount and the drama was well done. I appreciated that it was light to read because heavy drama is not my cup of tea. The love they have for one another and the love they have for Violet made the fight to keep her a done deal which had me breath a sigh of relief. I loved Addison and her motherly instincts, and of course I adored Cutie patootie Violet, but the standout to me is Carr! I love my aloof heroes, who know nothing about women because they are oblivious and simply not interested, until he meets his one and only! Only then does a maelstrom of passion, lust and love come alight for the first time for them both! That never fails to make me melt, which is why Ella Goode is the author who always makes me perk up with giddiness when a new book of hers comes out, because it is a guaranteed first, last and only true love story (DV) that leaves me with a smile on my face, and happiness in my heart! I wish that for you too, so I recommend it! May I recommend you read it with a cup of hot chocolate with extra marshmallows! They have another daughter Freesia born shortly after Violet making these sisters very close. Freesia secretly texts a boy in school, Will Stanfield. Could there be a high school DV romance in future? *crossing fingers* Happy reading!
- Single guardian - Rich vs nanny - Fake engagement - Insta love - Dual virgins - Novella
After the H suddenly gets custody of his cousins baby, he needs a nanny. It’s insta love, fast paced and the H falls first. Super cute.
Safety: - No owd. Some drama with the baby’s mother, who had a child with H’s cousin. Drama only because she abandoned her child to H, and causes drama towards the end when she wants the kid back. - No omd. A work enemy of the H tries to cause trouble, but he doesn’t succeed. - Dual v.

No sé si soy yo pero creo que Ella Goode está escribiendo como un poco mezclado. Siento que la escritura está acelerada y se superpone. Pero igual está lindo.
This was just the cutest!!! lovable characters, smooth writing, a fun plot that was executed incredibly well for a novella and lots of feelz and spice!!
100% safe!! Double virgins belong only to each other, no real OM/OW (some unwanted OM interest, heroine shuts it down, hero slams the door shut) no cheating or sharing or abuse. HEA w/epilogue years out
Funny, cute and with enough heat to keep things upbeat.
I confess that I have a weak spot for baby plots, and the cover is dreamy! Nanny and rich boss is also a premise I enjoy, so here I am devouring the novella where the rich man suddenly finds himself in a pickle with the appearance of a baby out of the blue. He needs help badly. The professional nanny is equally desperate so she accepts a position with this adorable baby and his handsome daddy that isn't what he seems to be.
Possessive and ready to share one bed with her? Check. Is she opening her heart to both of them despite the consequences? Bless her heart, she is. The story starts with a really funny scene that made me smile and even laugh. The clueless men facing a baby menace is always funny, though this particular man shows a remarkable sense of responsibility and sensibility towards the lovely creature. I liked him, and so does the heroine when she finds out how caring he is.
On the other hand, there are some trust issues that they have to deal with, and it was very entertaining because they go places and talk and face rough decisions and fall in love very prettily.
After a baby is left in his home Carr demands a nanny. Addison shows up immediately and it’s love at first sight for Carr and Addison and the baby with no name. This is such a great feel good story, sweet with some steam but definitely feel good from beginning to end. Once I started it I couldn’t put it down. I absolutely loved it.
I love this DV story. Read in KU and will possibly buy the book to read many times!! Carr is possessive, protective, and true alpha. Addison is so sweet and the perfect addition to Carr’s life. Violet is the special baby they fell in love instantly with. I love the story. Simple. Low angst to none. I recommend it for those that swoon at simple but intense love between the MCs.
SAFE Dual virgins No om/ow No separation No cheating No breakup HEA

This is an absolutely lovely romance. It has such charm, drama and depth. The characters are amazing and the plot is fantastic.
Carr is a confirmed bachelor who gets his cousin's baby dropped off at his home. This leads to some funny and sweet moments with him, a couple employees and the baby girl. The men rightly decide that they need some help. This brings Addison, the nanny, into Carr's life. Romance ensues.
This is a standalone book. It's a safe read with some explicit scenes and language. The romance never feels rushed or too slow. The pace of the plot is perfect. The characters are grounded and engaging. I loved this story and definitely recommend it.
💕My rating: 3.8 ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ This was a very sweet found family story, and I loved how fast paced and light it was despite having a baby basically left on their doorstep. Carr really surprised me with how quickly he went from only being a business man to suddenly snapping into loving having a little family. I wish this one was longer so we could’ve seen them interact at home more with the characters that run Carr’s household, because I loved the warm dynamic with them all. Addison and Carr were a great couple, and it was so adorable seeing them fall for that little girl and each other. Pick this up if you love fast romance, and a surprise baby!
Carr came across as a typical high powered businessman, concerned with making money and lots of it. Then a woman shows up, dressed to the nines in designer gear who proceeds to drop his cousin's baby into his lap and bolts. What's a guy to do but muddle through until he realizes he is in over his head. So he calls in a nanny service and Addison walks in. He is a goner and his staff think she is amazing too. This story made me so happy, I love this author and this book is the perfect example of why. Such a lovely romance from start to finish!
What do you do when a baby is basically given to you?
Carr McRae just had a baby left in his office by the baby's mother. Apparently his cousin is the father and neither parent is up for the task. Carr quickly falls in love with the baby and hires a nanny to help take care of her. Addison loves every child she has ever cared for and Carr McRae's little girl is no exception. Will these two get a happily ever after?
Ella Goode books always make my heart happy! Baby Contract is no exception to that rule. While it is not without conflict, it is still an upbeat happy story. Carr and Addison are immediately attracted and that turns into their happily ever after quite quickly. It’s short, sweet and steamy!
A sweet, romantic story with a good happy ending. Carr is a workaholic, and when they leave him with a newly born in charge, nothing is right, he hires a nanny who happens to be the woman of his life. Addison is a professional nanny, takes a job but never thought she would fall in love with the beautiful baby and her boss.
Such a lovely story....I haven't been this taken with main characters in a while...both H and h were witty, likable, relatable, fun and just yummy. For such a short story, I felt satisfied after reading...could it have been longer, yes but is it ok just as is, absolutely..
Carr is a bachelor busy with his multimillion empire to even date. His life is turned upside down when a baby is left in his care, and he doesn't know what to do with it. So, he hires a nanny to solve his problem. However, Addison, just as the baby sneaks into his armour and before he knows it, he has a family he would do anything to keep and protect. Ok read
I thought this story was great! I love how Carr took care of the (his) baby girl from the moment she entered his life! They were simply meant to be a family! Then add in Addison and they were perfect together.
I liked the storyline of Carr and Addison. Remington was the add in to throw a little mix in. I liked Erroll and wished there was a little more to the storyline of the baby. Also the ending was cute.
Such a sweet story. There’s the whole trope of he falls first insta-love, mixed in with office romance, and a HEA. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and if you need something lighthearted and sweet (and if you enjoy romance), then you might want to check this book out!
Addison and Carr, oh boy, I liked these two so much. And his chef was funny and protective. Great one liners, a baby that is loved deeply, spice and an epilogue that wrapped up their family story beautifully.
A made family for a workaholic bachelor. First a baby, not his then the nanny who at first sight grabs his attention. Strange that their world has over lapping bad guys.
Carr was a little corky but he fell hard for Addison. Loved that they were genuinely good people. Honestly and gave people the benefit of the doubt. Rey mature how they handled Violet’s situation. The ending was adorable, specially the two sisters
Me a gustado es un instalove Carr es un amor con su bby pero 3 hombres no lograron calmarla a todos nos cuesta poder cuidar de un ser tan pequeño. Y me encanto ese epilogo despues de años siguen amandose♡
