I walk into my club expecting to interview a man... Instead, I find her. A firestorm in human form. And damn if she doesn't own my full attention.
Losing my wife left a crater in my chest impossible to fill. Until Erin.
The best damn bartender I've ever laid eyes on. Sharp. Unbreakable. Utterly intoxicating. And whether she realizes it or not... She's mine.
But she's haunted by demons that refuse to let her go. I say let them come. They have no idea who they're up against.
The plan is simple. She moves into my cabin. Pretends to be mine. No one touches her. No one even breathes her name.
But this isn't just some game of playing house. Not when she's the first woman to make me feel alive in years. I may be rich, but none of that f*cking matters if I'm dead inside.
I'll protect Erin. And the miracle growing inside her. And if anyone tries to take them from me? I'll put them in the ground.

I’m REALLY behind on reviews and read this a few weeks back. This didn’t really shake out how I was expecting… it wasn’t bad, just wasn’t as smutty and drama fueled as I anticipated. I thought there would be some angsty goodness generated from Samuel being hung up on his dead wife, but he felt ready to move on. (it had been many years)
The blurb sets this one up, Erin is a bartender for a mobster, she gets into trouble and flees. She meets Samuel (the owner) during her interview and sparks fly, but there’s some hesitation for both their parts.
✅ Samuel and Erin are both likable and have instant chemistry. ✅ Samuel’s sidekick James was a great Robin. ✅ Some action scenes for Batman and Robin to kickass and the h doesn’t act TSTL. She uses her head and is safe. ✅ Double epilogue.
❌The first smut scenes were daydreams. (personal dislike) ❌ I had a hard time understanding why Erin would stay in the same apartment and city if she was trying to hide out/run away from the mobster. ❌ No real drama. Kara (dead wife) generates no drama, her family-no drama, no wannabe women, no wannabe men, no conflicts, no obstacles.
Bottom Line- It was an ok read for me but would’ve been better with more going on. I liked the characters; it just felt a smidge dull at times.
Erin is trying to move on from her sleaze bag of a boss. she interviews at a new bar and gets the job. Her new boss Samuel is nothing like her old one, hes kind and protects his staff, not to mention hes absolutely gorgeous. When they are around each other there are sparks and chemistry that neither can deny. When Erins old boss comes looking for her, Samuel suggests she stay with him where he can keep her safe. The two living together just speeds up the inevitable and they fall for each other.
When the ghosts of the past come knocking Erin and Samuel must stick together to survive it. Neither were looking for the other but they found just what they needed.
This book was meh for me, I have read so many bangers lately that this just fell short for me.
Samuel and Erin went to lunch with his former in laws…nothing mentioned about that. It was dropped. Samuel’s military service was mentioned, more than once. I assume that’s how he and James know each other? No backstory about that…or any history about him, other than his first wife died. Kailee stole from Misha and blamed Erin ….why? In my opinion, this wasn’t important to the story? This story left more questions than anything and the author didn’t address them. I don’t know if this is this author’s first book, and maybe her story telling gets better but I did not enjoy this book.
True Love Works Wonders on the Soul - Erin was only looking to apply for a job in the bar, but she realised her life was about to change the moment she locked eyes with her new boss and she felt an electric current pass through her. Samuel had given up on relationships since his wife passed away and settled on dalliances, but everything changed from the moment Erin came into his life. Samuel felt his protective instincts kicked in the moment Erin was in danger and he did everything possible to keep her safe, whilst trying to fight against his intense attraction for her.
Spending time together in close proximity led to Samuel and Erin crossing the boundaries of employer and employee, which spilled into their daily lives, as they dealt with the threats against her. Unfortunately, just as Samuel and Erin settled into their lives, her old boss decided to reek havoc on their lives, but they were able to fight back and remove the threats from the personal and professional lives permanently.
Samuel and Erin were really overjoyed to finally get their lives back on track quickly, especially after receiving life changing news, which gave them a chance at getting the happily ever after they deserved. OMG! This is a forbidden attraction romance story, had enough scorching-hot tension and action-packed moments that had the potential to melt your screen. The steam level was off the charts, but it's the angst-filled moments that will keep you eagerly turning pages. If you are looking for your next reading adventure that will have you glued to the pages, then this is the one for you.

This was one I didn’t want to put down! Two strong and dynamic people with an intense attraction and a maniac bent on destroying everyone that slights him. This was a setup for some terrific reading. Such smart people that you didn’t have an inkling what could happen next.

I really wanted to enjoy this book, but there was so much confusion. Are they in Denver or NYC? Does Samuel live in a cabin on 30 acres outside of Denver or in a condo? I could not get past the first several chapters because of the inaccuracies. 😕

Erin Russo is a something year old beautiful woman who grew up in the mob with a overprotective and overbearing mob boss father. As soon as she turned eighteen she left home from Chicago and changed her name moved to Denver. She was working at Club Scarlett as a bartender for Misha Grinkov a sleazy club owner who likes to pressure and coerces his employees to give his customers private lap dance even though it's not apart of their job because it makes him more money and keeps his customers happy. He hire his employees for one thing but later wants to pimp them out to his clients, when he asks Erin to go in the back room nightly and give lap dances because she has the face and body she declines. He gave her another week then call her back to his office and asked her if she changed her mind but her answer was still no. He then threatened her telling her that he was giving her a week to change her mind and that she better be ready. She didn't want to go back and forth with him because she heard of his reputation of making people disappear, so when he dismissed her back to work she walked outside quitting on the spot without telling him. She's a woman of integrity and have been through a lot in a life and will not go against her morals for anyone even for a job. She went to the Club Steel a prestigious club and applied for another job. Club Steel is the hottest new club in Denver. They've only been open for a few months and they were already doing killer business. Samuel Holt is a billionaire silver fox widower and owner of Club Steel. He's a former military man and Wall Street wizard financer who's good with numbers. Samuel is a handsome, brooding, grumpy sunshine since the death of his wife Kara eight years ago. He has been living in guilt since her death. Samuel needed another bartender Erin was his interviewee who he thought was a man name Aaron. When he got to the club and saw a young lady sitting by the bar he was immediately drawn to her causing his cock to twitch something he had not felt in years. Erin was always immediately attracted him as soon as she saw him walked through the door. As he interviewed her they were low key flirting with each other. He told her that she wasn't what he expected and she tells him good she hated being predictable. Erin was enjoying her new job and being around Samuel and their unspoken attraction. He didn't make her skin crawl like Misha did. Everything was going good in her life and she was making more money than she had ever had before until one of Misha lackey showed up at Club Steel making lewd comments of wanting to fuck her and tells her that Misha was going to happy to know where she was working. Samuel second-in-command James threw him out. But when Erin was walking home he was waiting a couple blocks away from the club for her on her way to the subway. He tried to kidnap her to take her to Misha. He told that Misha was pissed that she leaves and that no one leaves Misha because she was one of his girls. Erin fought him off and ran back to the club because Samuel was still there. He saw her on the security camera and saw when the guy hit her. Samuel beat him to an inch of his life. He knows the type of man Misha is because he used to do his investments for him, but when he realized that he was laundering money he dropped him as a client. And he also knows that Misha's ego will not allow someone to walk away from him. Samuel told Erin that she had to come stay at his house until the Misha situation is over. She didn't want to go with him but when he remains that Misha will not stop she agreed. As soon as they were under the same roof the two could no longer fight their attraction, and once they start they couldn't stop. Erin had resurrect something in that was dead inside of him and they started a journey filled with passion day and nights and stolen moments. Their chemistry was electrifying, magnetic and scorching hot. Misha was so determined to get to her that he went after her old roommate Tiffany and beat her badly then dropped her off at Erin's job to send a message to her. Samuel and Erin took her to the hospital because she was barely breathing but Erin was riddle by guilt that it was because Misha obsession with her and Tiffany could've lost her life. Samuel and James took care of Misha and Erin later find out that they were going to have a baby. She has made Samuel more happier than he have ever been before.

1.5* Poorly written. Over half of it was s*x, who is ex military? it never says Samuel is.
What a shame as that could/should have been brilliant but I ended up skimming pages and pages. Before they start having s*x they’re both fantasising about having s*x and it’s ridiculous. At times I couldn’t figure out if it was a fantasy. For example Samuel gets in the shower and Erin comes into the shower and gets to her knees. I had no clue it was a fantasy until he had finished. Erin had only just met and been interviewed by Samuel and she’s fantasising on the frigging bus! 🙈 AS IF SHE WOULD!
Erin meets Samuel when she interviews for a bar job at Samuel’s club. Erin had to leave her last job as the owner was in the Bratva I assume and he demanded that she did certain things with men that came in his club. Later on Misha her old boss is after Erin for something completely different. This for me is where it just goes wrong. Erin’s dad is in the mafia yet she goes to work for a known criminal boss. Erin and her flat mates saw that he was a really bad person but they all just carry on working for him. Erin is so terrified of her old boss that she continues to live in her flat, with the same flatmates, and works in the same area. IT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE!
Erin and Samuel have an instant connection, and when Erin is threatened by someone her old boss knows, OUTSIDE SAMUEL’S CLUB. I pointed this out as later on Erin is terrified that Misha her old boss knows where she works, and she acts like she’s shocked that he does. 🙄🙄🙄Samuel for some bizarre reason moves her into his house. Erm….. okay……. They’re soon having endless boring s*x without a condom and of course the inevitable happens. They don’t even discuss if she’s on any contraception, or are they both tested and clean?
There’s way too many mistakes to really enjoy this book, sadly as the plot sounded really good.
A wonderfully written story about a young bartender who’s trying to run away from her old boss. The young bartender finds a new bartending job and it’s not long before her old boss has people going after her so she winds up moving in with her new boss. The young bartender and the new boss become closer after she moves in with him. The two tell each other their story and they become intimate. After one of the young bartender’s old roommates gets attacked by her old boss and his people everything goes bad for both the young bartender and the new boss. Everything comes to an end when the old boss and his men come for both the young bartender and the new boss but they turn the tide on them and the police take them away. While that’s going on the new boss takes the young bartender to the ER where they find out she’s pregnant. Seven months later everything is going great and the young bartender and her old roommate are closer. The young bartender has her babies and the new boss is happy. A year later their babies have a birthday and at the end of the day when the babies are in bed the couple is intimate. The new boss asks the young bartender for her hand in marriage and she agrees. The couple is happy with their family, they are happy and in love. This story has outstanding characters as well as being a great page turner. This story has drama, suspense, intrigue, action, and a steamy spicy romance with a happily ever after ending.

A jaw dropping suspense filled read from the very beginning that kept the reader engaged throughout the entire story. The heroine of the book, Erin was a strong willed woman with even stronger morals, so when Misha asked her to asked to work the back room of him club, she walked out on him. No one walked out on Misha. He was out to get her, one way or another. Of course Erin went to another bar, and she got a job as a bartender, but she failed to tell them about Misha. Everything was fine until one of Misha's regular clients showed up making a scene. She had to tell her new boss, Samuel about Misha. Samuel promised to keep her safe, and everything went fine for a few days. Until, she was attacked on her way home. After that Samuel told her, she had to stay with him, and he would take her to and from work. That was when they could no longer deny their attraction, they had been ignoring between them. Also, Misha assault escalated toward why he truly wanted Erin for. Was Samuel able to protect Erin as promised? Did Misha get close to getting Erin? Find the answers in this romantic suspense you will be able to put down.

When her boss at the club wants her to serve more than just drinks, she decides it’s time to find a new job. The new club is everything. The other one wasn’t classy safe and it doesn’t hurt that her new boss is incredibly hot. Despite his no fraternization rule, there’s something about her that draws him in. When her ex boss threatens her all of his protective instincts go in high gear and he takes her home with him. Their chemistry is strong and their spice is high heat, there are lots of open door steamy scenes with these two. There is a mafia/drama/danger arc that they have to navigate. The author handles this really well, giving enough time on Paige to it, but not too much to detract from their relationship. There is a lot going on in the story and for the most part, it was handled really well with the main characters being central. There were a couple of things that felt either unresolved to me or unnecessary if they weren’t going to be resolved. Her father and his ex in-laws. I expected to see them at the birthday party, but since they didn’t appear, felt unnecessary to the story. Also of note this is not a daddy or DDlg story.

Boss Daddy is an intense, steamy age-gap romance brimming with danger, passion, and heart-melting protectiveness. When a gruff, emotionally scarred ex-military, mafia-connected club owner crosses paths with Erin—the fiery, no-nonsense bartender running from her past—sparks fly, and nothing will ever be the same.
The chemistry between them is off the charts, blending raw desire with genuine emotional connection. The forced proximity at his remote cabin only intensifies their insta-lust turned deep obsession. Add in a surprise pregnancy and you’ve got a recipe for a hero who goes from grumpy boss to feral protector overnight 🔥.
With Bratva ties, dark secrets, and a hero willing to burn the world down for his woman and their baby, this story delivers all the spice, suspense, and tender moments romance lovers crave. If you love age-gap, protective alpha heroes, and heroines who finally find their safe place, Boss Daddy will check all your boxes. 💋🏔️❤️🔥.

Samuel & Erin: triggers- assault, sexual assault, money laundering, theft, corruption. So I did like this story but there where a couple of things that were not addressed. So with the actual title, it says "an age gap, ex military romance" but neither the ages or the fact that one of them is ex-military was made known or made an issue within the book. But it's not something that would hinder my rating. I would just be careful how books are listed within each of the reading and book rating apps. Erin is working at a strip club for a sleaze ball when she's harassed by her boss. Determined not to take that, she quits and begins working for Samuel's club. Soon all hell breaks loose when goons start looking for her in behalf of her old boss and he'll do anything to get at get. Samuel is not about to let that happen and let's Erin move in with him to keep her safe. Only he's not gonna let her good. This book is very much erotic as every other chapter is very hot, steamy sex. There's a good plot twist but if you're a habitual reader, you'll see it coming. It's an okay story.
Erin - mafia princess who flees her father’s realm - works at Club Scarlet, Misha Grinkov’s bar in Denver as a bartender. When Misha tries to force her to give his male patrons a good time she quits … but Misha wants what he believes is his. Meanwhile Erin gets hired by Samuel, the owner of Denver’s hottest place in town, and she loves tending the bar in his club. There’s instant attraction between Samuel and Erin and when Erin is attacked by one of Misha’s goons and runs back to the club where Samuel can rescue her, he becomes her knight in shining armor and insists she stays with him for her own protection. There’s loads of interesting twists and great characters mixed into a perfect story that gets real hot and dangerous towards the ending, a perfect blend between sizzling attraction and vicious curveballs that keep you turning page after page 👍🏼.

An exciting story of a beautiful bartender who hates working for Misha,in his strip club as a bartender. He calls her into his office telling her he wants her to work the backroom that means doing things that the strippers do in the back. She tells him no and he's angry he says think about it an we will talk tomorrow now get back to work.As she's going back she says she needs the restroom a she goes through the crowd an straight out the door.A couple of days later she goes to a new dance club an apples to get a job as a bartender .it's really busy so the bartender says come back here an help make a Manhattan.when he tastes it an says its the best he's ever tasted .There are so many twists an turns to this story you will be riveted til the very last page. Will she fall for her boss? Will he fall for her,he never thought he'd love again after his wife died eight years ago but now he has found a second chance at love.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.
Erin is a bartender at a sleezy strip joint and when Misha, the owner, demands she start working in the private rooms she bolts. She ends up working at the hot new club for an even hotter boss. The sparks fly immediately for her and Samuel and when one of Misha’s goons attacks her on her way to the subway after work Samuel insists she come stay at his cabin so he can keep her safe. Misha is part of the Russian mob and plans to get Erin back but Samuel won’t let that happen. Erin’s friends are attacked and the danger keeps growing. Never knowing who they can trust or who will turn traitor keeps them guessing. This book brings not only the danger but the heat between Erin and Samuel is off the charts. Both have things from their pasts they don’t usually talk about but with each other opening up is easy.

FMC Erin quits her bartending job in a strip club after her creep of a boss keeps trying to get her to service his clientele in other ways that she has not agreed to. During her interview at a new bar she ends up meeting the owner, MMC Samuel, and they have strong and instant chemistry.
He is trying to resist letting anything more than friendship and attraction happen between them. He is still getting over his late wife who died tragically years before. I thought it was really cool that his late wife’s parents were encouraging of him finding new love and happiness in his life.
Erin’s former creepy boss is not letting things go and tries to get at her by threatening and eventually harming her friends. Samuel gets wind of what is going on and cannot fight his instinct to protect her.
This is a great read and a compelling story. The couple has amazing chemistry and the book is well written!
2.5 ⭐️ I finished it but was rolling my eyes the whole time.
I know not every book needs to be deep. In fact, I’ve enjoyed many a surface read; however, this one was too neat and on the nose for me to the point it almost felt like humorless comedy. At the same time, nothing made sense because the author would sprinkle the suggestion of a background detail once and then never return to it or elaborate.
The tropes themselves didn’t bother me. Insta-love? Fine. Clear-cut villain? Sign me up. However, it felt like the tropes were patches laid across clothing without ever being sewn in. Loose ends everywhere.
I got where it was going, but kept asking “why?” and “how?” Unfortunately, the gaps were so extensive that they continually took me out of the story. Instead of basking in the warmth of a quick read, I was constantly searching for just a little more nuance to make even the smut more believable.
Erin makes a choice about her employment when her boss Misha won't take no for an answer. Luckily she finds another straight away, but does her new boss Samuel have to be so hot!
Samuel has rules in place, don't fraternise with the staff, but when he meets and hires Erin, that rule is so hard to follow, especially when she is attacked and he takes her back to his home.
Misha makes life difficult for Erin and Samuel, but she can't understand why he is coming after her just because she said no? Targeting Samuel's business as well as her friends, is there more to the hounding that they don't know about? Samuel won't let anything happen to Erin, she has become his world, falling in love again, something he never thought was on the cards.

Erin knows her current situation is crap and makes a change. She ends up looking for a job at Samuel's bar. Their connection is instant. I loved her inner strength, something that catches Samuel's eye too.
As her past comes calling, Samuel makes it his mission to keep her safe. This means facing his own past as well.
With the title, I was expecting more "daddy" in the story. He is a protector and cares for her, but daddy is not a dynamic in their relationship. I was not disappointed, just a direction I expected the story to go.
There is danger, passion, a showdown I wasn't expecting, but knew had to be coming at some point.
The story kept my interest and had me rooting for Erin and Samuel to make their relationship work. Ending was satisfying.

I am going to be honest - I almost didn't read this book because of it's title - Boss Daddy? But the truth is I really enjoyed this story and I'm glad I didn't pass it up.
Erin is a bartender in a strip club and has a sleazy boss named Misha. He wants to pimp her out to his customers and she refuses - and quits. She walks into Samuel's bar to interview and she and Samuel have an instant attraction. And it's sizzling. Erin and Samuel both have some baggage they are dealing with, but they cannot deny how attracted they are to one another.
This book had some unexpected suspense I wasn't anticipating but I enjoyed that aspect. At first, Misha's "obsession" with Erin made no sense, but the ending was better and more believable. Good side characters in this book as well.
Overall, an enjoyable story that I'm glad I took the time to read.
Bossy Daddy, I thought this to be quite an interesting take on an age gap romance. I did enjoy reading Bossy Daddy, I thought it was captivating from beginning to end. The characters are fabulously written and beautifully executed throughout the story. This story is beautifully written, well balanced and perfectly executed by KC CROWNE. Bossy Daddy follows the story of Erin and Samuel. The chemistry between these two characters is undeniably irresistible to the point where neither one of them could no longer ignore the feelings they felt towards each other. I absolutely adored getting to know Erin and Samuel as well as seeing their feelings for each other grow stronger as the story progressed forward. I would HIGHLY recommend Bossy Daddy to anyone who is looking for a new age gap romance to read.

The blurb of this book is written so wrong it’s misrepresented the entire book. Yes there is an age gap but it’s mentioned once, his silver hair twice that’s it. There is no fake relationship that is started as her past comes for her. she is a bartender who walked out of a job as her old boss wanted her to start sleeping with the customers. She starts bartending at this new place and the old boss is out for revenge. Her roommate gets bashed and they find her in the parking lot, he moves her in to protect her but they hook up straight away, constantly (the guy has a thing for oral) so is it surprising she gets pregnant? No protection it kinda happens! And there is no ‘daddy’ anything except they become parents. He owns the bar, was in finance/Wall Street and by the end of the book he’s also ex military?
Erin walks out of her job as a bartender at a sleazy bar after the owner wants her to do more than she is willing. She ends up at a high end bar applying for a job from Samuel who is one sexy Alpha man. He is all about the safety of his staff which is a new feeling for Erin. From the first moment these two meet it is instant chemistry. You can feel it in the air around them. I love the chemistry between the main couple of this story and the additional characters just add so much more to this story. There is always something happening to keep you on the edge of your seat as this couple navigate their new relationship and all it entails as well as trying to keep Erin safe from her old boss and his revenge on her. Such a good read!!!
Erin is a bartender who escapes her mafia father, moves to a new city, changes her name, only to wind up working for another mafioso, Misha. When she defies him, quits, and finds another job, Misha comes looking for her. Lucky for her, her new boss, Samuel, isn't about to let her be threatened and harmed.
I really liked this story. Erin is smart, strong, and independent. Samuel is still hurting from his wife's death, and can't understand why he is so drawn to this brave young woman. The story keeps you reading with its fast moving plot. There is action, danger, and treachery around them, but love, determination, and loyalty prevail in the end. Expect lots of sizzle and a HEA.

We start with our heroine Erin looking for a job at a less than stellar bar. She gets the job but her boss wants her to "work the back room"... Erin says no and quits. She then applies at a high-end bar and begins to work for Samuel. Misha, the owner of the dive bar, isn't happy with Erin walking out on him and attacks her on the way home from work. This is where Samuel steps up his game and insists Erin stay with him for protection. Close proximity wears down their resistance and the romance began. Misha continues to cause trouble for Erin and Samuel and Erin can't figure out why he is doing all he is to them. I will leave that part a mystery and let you read and figure it out yourself. You do get your HEA but it takes a lot of turns to get there. I loved this book!!!!!
