Tides of Fate

Rate this book
Their love is the tide that cannot be turned.

Phoenix “Nix” Rena never thought he’d make it this far.

He never imagined he’d find a pack who would fight for him, love him, and call him theirs. He never let himself dream that after everything—the scars, the losses, the battles fought inside and out—he could finally be free.

But freedom isn’t just something you claim—it’s something you have to fight for.

And Nix isn’t the only one who changed when he took back his power. The bonds that tie them together are deeper, and stronger than fate itself. But what do they truly mean? What happens when love isn’t just a gift, but a force that shapes the future?

Something is brewing in the shadows, something no one—not even Gideon—sees coming. And when the storm finally hits, it won’t just be their bond that’s tested—it will be everything they thought they knew about themselves, each other, and the love they swore would never break.

Because love got them this far. But it’s going to take more than love to make it through what comes next.

Pack bonds. Fated mates. Destiny rewritten. This is the final book in the Fated in the Stars trilogy, where love isn’t just a choice—it’s the thing that changes everything.

Before You BeginTides of Fate is the highly anticipated conclusion to the Fated in the Stars trilogy—a high-heat, deeply emotional, multiple-POV omegaverse romance where fated mates aren’t just bound by destiny—they’re fighting to prove they deserve it.

Perfect for readers who
✔ Pack dynamics that feel real, messy, and unbreakable
✔ Fated mates with consequences—because destiny isn’t always easy
✔ Possessive, protective mates who would burn the world down for each other
✔ An Omega who refuses to surrender his right to choose his destiny
✔ Polyamorous love that doesn’t just work—it’s necessary

📌 This book is the final chapter in the Rhodes Pack’s journey. For the full experience, start with Threads of Fate and Bonds of Fate.

i feel so scammed.

i got into this series bc it's the first time i see an 8-man poly relationship and the author actually managed to develop each character decently 👏👏👏👏

but also, half the book is just sex. lots and lots of sex and orgies. yes, the pack needs to bond, but you could bond in ways other than sex? (eg group outings); it does get boring. the climax only started building up 20 pages from the end, and took like 5 pages to narrate. like hello? it's the climax.

plus, the insta love 😭 is them simply being mates able to justify crying over a stranger the moment you see them and falling in love in a week? up to you 🤷 for me, it wasn't.

there are so many loose ends, and it honestly doesn't feel like they're gonna be wrapped up any time soon, given how much of the book was just sex. i can't believe it took 3 books for the mc to wake up, bond, bond more, and finally beat his abuser up in 5 pages.

speaking of the abuse, it really didn't feel like nix had been abused for 5 years. there were a lot of pov's so nix didn't get to narrate all his thoughts, but even so, it felt like nix accepted his new relationships fairly quickly(like 2 weeks) and rarely mentioned the suffering he went through.

there were quite a lot of pov's so it was difficult to keep track. i literally wrote notes. for each guy's personality and role in the poly. also, justice for finn!! he deserves way more screen time pls (replace gideon's pov's with finn's 🙏)

*this is kind of a review for the whole series bc i'm too lazy to review them individually.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall in the Rhodes Pack house.

Metaphorically speaking, of course.

A lot has happened in a very short amount of time since this series started in the first book, Threads of Fate, which isn’t a fact this book lets slip by, but it’s still amazing to realize just how much the Rhodes Pack has been through in such a short time span, and the events of this series still have yet to come.

If Threads of Fate was about bringing everyone together, introducing us to the members of the pack, showing us how they fit together, and showing us how Phoenix Rena fits into the picture, and Bonds of Fate was about taking the members of this pack and integrating them into a loving and glowing whole while healing so many of their psychological wounds, then Tides of Fate is about making sure that the pack is complete, sealed, and finally safe even as the world around them begins to change and ask more of them.

Threads of Fate beared the burden of exposition and character development because it was the first book in the series and Nix was unconscious for the majority of it, while Bonds of Fate was filled to the brim with spice because of the discovery of Nix’s secondary omega gender and pack bonding. Tides of Fate is a dance of character development (including some great development for Nix, Jay, Finn, and Leo), plot development, the introduction of new characters (we get to meet some parentals), fight scenes, worldbuilding, and some really hot spice scenes (can you say heat?). 5⭐️

I had the AMAZING opportunity to read the third installment as an ARC and I am beyond pleased with the end result. It was such an amazing end to great trilogy and I seriously cannot wait to see what the Rhodes pack get up to next!

If you haven't read it already...why not?!

**SPOILERS AHEAD**

Some of my favourite parts of the fic include:

Nix; The bad ass, rip his heart out bit. Coming face to face with Hayes in the courthouse and not backing down, the final showdown in the yard.

Luca; actually being the rock this entire book for Gideon, Gray and Nix🥹

Grayson; for beating the shit out of Hayes but not going all enigma.

Rowan; for just being Rowan and for being their 'pillar'. I love him🥹

Finn; for actually talking to Luca and letting him in. And then when they bond finally🥹🥹

Gideon; for being the protector and just being there for everyone.

Leo; that 'date' was super cute!! And the bannister/bonding/being confronted with the parents. That was hilarious🤣

Jay; for finally accepting Nix's decision. He had to deal with so much, not wanting to lose him again but knowing he has to let him make his own decision. It was heartwrenching.

Mama Frankie! Just, yes!

This list is NOT exhaustive.

Tides of Fate is the third in the Fated in the Stars series. This series is best read in order as it has a. Continuing story arc. We are back with Nix, Jay, Gideon, Luca, Leo, Rowan, Finn, and Grayson for the last book in this series. This book continues where the last book left off. Nix and the guys continue to build their relationships to make the pack stronger. I loved everything about this book. There was plenty of action, steam, and feels. I'm sorry to see this series end but happy that there will be more in this universe. I would definitely recommend this book and series as 5 star reads.

Phoenix completes his transformation

With the trial looming ahead and the pack still cementing their bonds Nix needs to be ready for anything.

I absolutely love how Remy writes about each of the characters. She highlights real life emotions that make complete sense in the moment. In this book we get more of Nix's feeling of being not enough and that he is broken. We also get a pack member dealing with serious anxiety attacks while not being willing to tell his pack about them.

I love the addition of the puppy and how she fits like she was always meant to be part of the pack. She loves everyone and just inherently knows what needs to happen. She is also not afraid of all the alpha energy which normally bothers dogs.

I absolutely loved the ending of this book and am super glad to see their will still be more books though not specific to this trilogy. There are still things going on that need to be addressed and I want to see more of this pack. I absolutely love everyone of these people. Each is so unique and deals with their own challenges and insecurities which makes them all feel like normal people that can easily be related too.

I'm so excited to see what is next for the pack and from this author.

ARC Review

*Spoilers*

I randomly signed up for the option to be an ARC reader. Since I hadn’t read the first two books. I downloaded them as soon as I got the book. I like the idea of werewolves and supernatural types of books.

Out of all the books, this is the one I enjoyed the most. Each character was represented well throughout. I would have liked more interactions between Jay and Nix. Those two went through hell and back in different ways and they finally got to each other back. It didn't feel complete for them.

I loved each character. They all had a role to play with each other and it weaved together nicely. With so many characters that play a major role for each other. They all did what they needed to make sure Nix was supported and prepared for one of the hardest times in his life. Finn's panic attack was so hard to read he has such a sensitive heart and given how his interactions with Nix at the beginning the breakdown is a stab to the heart.

I liked that this book brought all the characters out of the house together and explored more of how the world of weres works. I wish there had been a bit more about why and who is going after the Rhodes pack. I am sure there are going to be some more answers in the side stories just have to read them.

I am happy with how Nix got his justice and closure. This was what he needed for himself and his pack. He can start to heal, feel like he can move on and be there for those he loves the most.

I liked the series overall!

Dramatic conclusion to this trilogy....

But we're not done with the Rhodes Pack yet. Not after that ending and not now there's Darkness Echoes (Echoes of Eternity Book 1) to look forward to in June.
There's a lot of bonding, a lot of intimacy and sex, in this book. They are truly polyamorous and while some of them had far more page time than others, I really felt that they are all equals when it comes to their relationship, regardless of pack hierarchy and Jay being the pack leader.
Nix is growing stronger and more confident with his mates by his side but he's still vulnerable at times, his past haunting his present and his future. I loved seeing how all his mates are affectionate and loving, bolstering him, and how he is exactly the same in return.
There's time spent with family, there's new members of the Rhodes household to fall in love with, and I particularly loved Leo's mums.
I loved the last few chapters, an ending... or is it? Now I can't wait for Darkness Echoes.

Nix, Jay, Gideon, Luca, Leo, Rowan, Finn, and Grayson story continue the roller-coaster of emotions with more danger and adrenaline, and with a couple of surprises and revelations that change everything.
It was exhilarating, as well as extremely emotional, as feelings and emotions ride high when old insecurities surface, communication is lacking, and dynamics are misunderstood.
I liked their bonding moments, as well as the intimate ones, the teasing and shenanigans, and the adorable pets that joined the big family.
I liked the friends and the help they got along the way, as well as the intricacies when the knots got released.
Nix evolution is remarkable as he becomes more confident and realises what his true strength really is.
I really enjoyed their experience and I’m looking forward to their next adventure.

This book felt like coming home. Tides of Fate was the perfect, soul-deep conclusion to this trilogy, bringing the Rhodes Pack full circle in the most emotional and satisfying way. I’ve been with them through every heartbreak, every moment of healing, and this finale reminded me why I fell in love with them in the first place.

The character growth here is everything. You can feel how much Nix, Jay, Finn, Rowan, Gray, Gid, Lucas and Leo have changed since Threads of Fate. The emotional depth is unreal, and the love they share feels earned, messy, and human. It’s not just about romance; it’s about survival, forgiveness, and choosing love over fear again and again.

Remy Bishop gave us a conclusion that hits hard and heals at the same time. The balance of action, tenderness, and vulnerability made this one unforgettable. It’s powerful, intimate, and full of heart.

Epic, heartwarming conclusion of a series of books I love dearly.
Standing up for yourself has never been simultaneously so hard and so easy. Hard, because Nix had to face the biggest hurdle on the way to his, true happiness and show how much he has grown as a person. Easy - because for the first time in his life, he wasn't alone and had the support of the most important people - his mates. Nix Rena is a force of Nature and Fate that shouldn't be underestimated. Not only did he embrace his new life and every challenge but did it in a remarkable, unforgettable way. The author has written one magnificent grand finale and I really, really didn't want to see the last page. The world building was a reading experience like no other.

I just love this pack. As I’ve said before this crew just melts my heart. Eight great guys who reel you in with their playfulness, their soft & passionate sides, but also with their fierce protective natures, even Nix. Phoenix, “Nix”, alongside Jay, Grayson, Finn, Luca, Leo, Gideon, Rowan and their newest additions - a cute little pup named Tsuki, and 2 kitties, Doodle and Domino. Now that’s a house full!

In Tides of Fate, Nix is settling in, the pack is getting more comfortable with each other, there are some bumps along the way including a fire and a break in, but they manage to grow and work through anything that comes their way. Nix’s abuser, Hayes, ultimately gets what he deserves and I was there cheering (mostly) the whole time. Kinda sad, kinda not. Vengeance isn’t always sweet.

I absolutely love this series!
Couldn't put it down, because I had to know what would happen next.
This is an omegaverse, polyamorous, fated mates story, with eight males in a pack relationship. The writing is excellent.
The author, Remy Bishop, wrote each character with distinctive
personalities. At no time did I feel anyone was shorted in this
complex love story.
The plot is riveting, and contains unique paranormal elements,
and fascinating world building.
Hurt/comfort is at the forefront of this story, along with a
balanced amount of steam.
When each new book in this series was released,
I droped everything in order to read them.
This is a not to be missed fabulous series, and highly recommended!

I love this series so much! The Rhodes pack is such an amazing example of a healthy, loving, polyamorous relationship. Are these guys perfect? Absolutely not, but they are a perfect pack. They all fit together so well and the love is there between them all. They all have their individual personalities but they make up one beautiful family. And sweet Nix! He proves that being the omega, the “lesser,” is not a weakness. He is the strength that bonds this group of men together. One fight may be over, but I have a feeling that we aren’t done with them yet. I can’t wait to watch this pack grow and become even stronger. And yes…I devoured this book in one sitting. I couldn’t help it.

Where do I start with how much I have liked this series? Nix is just amazing. While he still has fears, he is growing stronger and more sure of himself. But, I have so many questions and hopefully the new series will answer them.

Final book in the trilogy and it wrapped up nicely, though there will be more in the universe, which I'm glad.

Nix is settling in better with the pack and continuing to learn more about the world, and about his mates. I love his relationship with each of them but also all the different pack dynamics within the harem. Everything wasn't smooth sailing though, because I was angsting my way through the whole book regarding the conflicts in the previous book and more presenting itself.

Can't wait for the next series of books!

Nix surprised me at every turn. He fought for his right to have justice and stood up to the rest of his mates too. He was a total badass and I was rooting for him every step of the way.

Fantastic book! Well written, amazing characters and super steamy.

The Rhodes pack is EVERYTHING. Nix is a complete badass and I loved every minute of his retribution.

This book was all about laying the foundation and learning to navigate life within the new normal of pack life. There were definitely some growing pains, and some challenges but these beautiful souls seem have the Goddess on their side. Managing the emotions of EIGHT pack members is a lot of work!! One thing is for sure about these men there is always some down and dirty fun happening somewhere, and EVERYONE is getting exactly what they need.

I was thrilled when I found out that the saga will continue. There is so much more in store for The Rhodes Pack. I cannot wait to see what comes next.

I cannot get enough of this series!! I love how each of the books picks up right where the last left off so you don't miss anything. I love each and every one of the characters - their quirks, their weaknesses, their strengths, but especially the way they love and support each other - it's all so good! I'm so glad to hear that their story will continue, cause let's be honest, I will NEVER get enough of the Rhodes Pack!!

3.5 stars. Finale is here! I was so happy to discover this series, it is definitely one of my highlights of this year. What other poly omegaverse MM book do you see that has eight guys? I was absolutely on board with the premise since the beginning.

Without spoiling, the plot in this book continues with the conflict where the previous one left. In the meantime, the pack must make up their minds about Nix's decision regarding his case, confronting their fears and their wishes to protect him.

I absolutely loved the fact that even if the pack is already established, the book doesn't shy away from presenting conflicts in the relationship. Not only that, but it was one that was grew organically and it made sense within their dynamic. I really liked the conclusion about that and how the book went onto Nix's reclaiming his autonomy while discovering more about his designation.

Speaking about that, I loved that this finale shows more about the unique treats this author added to their worldbuilding. I found that interesting and empowering, especially for Nix, without straying far away from the omegaverse setting itself.

Another thing I also enjoyed was the themes this covered, specifically about justice and revenge. It felt cathartic to see things coming to an end and for Nix to be able to confront his fears. There was also one element I was really happy to find here and that's the , something I had been expecting since book 2. I personally think that it's a very important element in a/b/o and without that the story would feel incomplete for me, no offense to books that don't have it.

However, as much as I liked those things, there were some that I wasn't a big fan of:

-I felt the first half of the book was draggy and it would've been better cutting off at least 70 pages.

-I wanted a bit more action and suspense for this book considering it was the finale and the danger that was still lingering.

-I wasn't that satisfied with the final chapter, it felt cut off and some things were left pending to be discussed later. I wish it felt more like an actual conclusion or the clousure of s chapter, even if there are more books planned ahead.

Despite that, I was overjoyed to find out that this isn't the last time we'll see these characters and another series is planned for them. I would like a book about the other pack of three as well, and more about the omegas in this universe since they're so rare. I'll definitely keep an eye on this author.

-This was an ARC review.

one thing bothered me the most im tired with the internal jealousy. i feel so bad for grayson despite being the soulmate of nix i dont feel hes that special to nix. yes hes the second person nix claim but after that it goes downhill. when grayson was sick because of the BBS thing and even after nix being told he was sick and needed nix, nix didnt go running for him, hes too busy with the in law and the cats and then having a fight with jay *before* finally thinking about grayson needing him. and even after that hes only what, hugging him for a few second and goes talk to someone else?? and not comforting grayson?? i feel like grayson deserves better. i want someone else to be his soulmate. and the fact that grayson doesnt have a pov here is making me mad. thats why i appreciate and love every moment grayson being affectionate and cute with the other mates because we know nix doesnt pay much attention to him despite being soulmate. its like hes forgot he has a soulmate and only mentioned it when theyre close. and then ofc grayson and rowan have this fight moment at the end because ofc grayson isnt the biological dad of nix first baby and ofc it continues to the next series. im seriously so done with grayson being disrespected like that. what the point of adding the element of soulmates then? it doesnt add that much into the story but internal conflict thats soooo stupid and making me so mad.

idek if i want to read the next book if grayson still being forgotten and tossed aside like in this series.

So, I am writing this about the whole series (all 5 books):

This is one of the very few series poly series I have read where I can tell you about every single mate in the group. Reading these had very Sense8 vibes like that, sometime the over arching story dragged a little but that's because we get multiple POVs since all 8 fated mates are not always together.

Full disclosure, Nix is in a coma through almost the entirety of the first book, but it works bc you get to know the Rhodes Pack before their omega come to.

My only real complaint is Nix is still pregnant at the end of the series (but a collection of short is coming out in November that will cover all that.)

Honestly, I can, and will, read a lot more of the Rhodes pack. I loved these guys in the end.
