This book is less than 80 pages which is the cut off line for a book to be entered onto my all time book list. I do not really consider this to be a book at all. This is a mere 64 pages, which gets it a written review instead of a video review. This is graphic novel based Allied invasion and operations during WWII at Normandy and focusing on D-Day. The book drills down even more to focus on the action of soldiers on Omaha Beach and Pointe du Hoc and the perspective units evolved. Embedded in the stories are two brothers that we the readers follow through there actions and experiences before, during and after D-Day. This book was originally written in french and latter translated so much of the dialog seems to be of static and factual kind. The art is poor but the paneling is very good. I never thought I would get bored reading a D-day story, but this book, though short, had my eyes drooping. Could have been much better and I can only really recommend this to WWII history buffs.
