Just a year after deciding to drop college, a frustrated 24 year old Volp is pressured by his mother to go to the funeral of her old friend Robert.
Volp is forced to set out on a journey from New York to Idaho, to unexpectedly find out that Robert has left him a secret inheritance.
Volp is about to discover that the town that Robert has lived in for 25 years is long gone and left hidden in isolation after a certain event that occurred on one fateful day, 4 years ago, which was bound to change the lives of its residents forever.
Within this ghost of a town, Volp has yet to discover what it is exactly that Robert has left him.
