Your Breakthrough Is Only a PUSH Away Today’s world knows little about perseverance. This is why so few people become innovators, entrepreneurs, and world-changers. Success is bypassed, not due to a lack of opportunity, but because we don’t know how to maximize the opportunities in front of us and PUSH - persevere until success happens. In her encouraging and dynamic style, Dr. Cindy Trimm inspires you to go for it. It is one thing to read about the lives of great achievers-it is another thing to join their ranks. Learn how • Carry your dreams, visions, and goals “full term” and to complete fulfillment • Exercise the power of faith to overcome the impossible and release God’s supernatural purposes into your life • Resist the temptation to ‘cave’ under pressure and press on even when you don’t feel like it anymore • Empower others to fulfill their divine destinies through co-laboring with them “If you dare to believe that God has something great in store for you to do, to accomplish, or to achieve, you must be prepared to persevere in spite of your hardship, setbacks, and challenges in order to realize your dreams and accomplish your goals. This book is written to give you that extra push.”-Cindy Trimm
Dr. Cindy Trimm is a sought-after empowerment specialist, revolutionary thinker, and transformational leader. She has earned a distinguished reputation as a catalyst of change and voice of hope to the nations.
As an author, Dr. Trimm has repeatedly topped bestsellers lists with what have become renown classics, such as: Commanding Your Morning, The 40 Day Soul Fast, The Rules of Engagement for Overcoming Your Past, and Prevail: Discover Your Strength in Hard Places.
PUSH Persevere Until Success Happens through Prayer is not the typical book on encouragement. Using the metaphor of pregnancy, the book discusses persevering from the birth of a dream to its delivery. Cindy Trimm utilizes many resources to articulate her point and although not all of them are from Christian sources, she does a good job of balancing biblical perspectives.
An inspiring quote from the book says, “The important thing to remember is that every person has been endowed with a seed of greatness. Each person holds the seeds of an answer, a solution, a message, or a gift – a special assignment involving some kind of delivery” (pg. 37).
Ms. Trimm uses many wonderful stories in the book that are not only thought provoking, but make a powerful impact including those about Charles Schultz, the rock and a conversation with God, and the Golden Gate bridge.
In another portion of the book, Ms. Trimm talks about how women’s roles in history are so affected even now. She says, “In spite of all these factors, however, the strength of a woman is incredible. Women are resilient and have always affected the fate of nations. You will find that where women are disempowered and oppressed a weak and underdeveloped nation will be present, and where women are strengthened and empowered a strong and powerful nation will be there. (pg. 102).
Ms. Trimm works through the physical manifestations of pregnancy and incorporates those same physical attributes to the dreams and purposes of a Christian. The book even draws references to science and the mind.
Throughout the book, Ms. Trimm uses such excellent stories to drive home the point of each chapter. She discusses not only the internal factors of accomplishing a dream as in motivation, desire, and hard work but external factors like relationships and circumstances.
An awesome quote by Maya Angelou says, “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away” (pg. 206). What a beautiful example of pushing through to see dreams come to life. PUSH Persevere Until Success Happens through Prayer is a great book that not only encourages dreams but step by step, helps the reader to see beyond their imagination and making the dream a reality.
I received this book from the Book Club Network in exchange for my honest opinion.
PUSH: Persevere Until Success Happens through Prayer is one of the most motivating and encouraging book I have read on the successful accomplishment of negotiating the journey to success.
Dr Trimm uses the appropriate analogy of the stages of childbirth, the conception and growth of ideas, through the actual birthing process of bringing those ideas to tangible fruition. She illustrates her points with scriptural references and famous quotes throughout the work.
The author discusses the birth of each of us as individuals, physically, spiritually, and intellectually. She provides a helpful chart of “investments” that lead to a well-rounded, healthy human being. She illustrates the many influences that shape our thought processes, the action we take, and how they can either stifle or advance our movement toward success.
She concludes the book with an extensive inspiring and empowering list of positive statements that she refers to as “the creed.”
I especially enjoyed the continuous message conveyed throughout the book that God has certain aspirations for all of us, and through prayer and perseverance, we can achieve the goals we were born to reach Even though I had heard a couple of them before, Dr Trimm’s examples of famous people in history who pushed on against all odds were especially interesting and motivating.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who entertains dreams, anyone who longs for accomplishment, anyone who seeks to fulfill God’s will in his or her life. This is definitely a keeper for me and a book that will take its rightful place on my “reference” shelf.
I received this book from the publisher, Destiny Image, through Fred St Laurent of The Book Club Network, in exchange for my honest review.
As with many of Cindy Trimm's books, this book is packed with practical application tools for motivation toward success. Of concern in this book, however, is the reliance on New Age philosophies and philosophers. Though Cindy continues to offer Biblical reference and support I fear the confusion and misdirection that might result for non-discerning readers.
5/9/19 second reading. Feel even stronger that the promotion of new age philosophers undermines the value of this book. Great information and practical application tools but I could never recommend it due to the smattering of philosophy that is in direct contradiction to Christianity 😕
Review Title: Divinely Push Through to New Heights (review of PUSH by Dr. Cindy Trimm) Reviewer: Janice S. Garey ***** 5 Stars
This combo inspirational and motivational book pairs wisdom from the Bible with quotes from various people, ancient and modern, and also includes original analogies about life from Dr. Trimm's unique insights.
The cover design and the interior decor of the book are of highest quality. I loved the perfect length of the chapters. And with thirty-one chapters, the book fits a plan to read a chapter for each day of the month.
The end of the book includes Dr. Cindy's Creed, a long list of affirmations for the reader's daily use to help build a better life. The whole book is jam-packed with a personal collection of up-lifting messages that will help a person soar to new heights.
Because this book uses analogies based on the human conception and birth cycle, I think the book is best for older teens and adults. Of course, a majority of the book would be appropriate for family devotions (just need to be aware of portions that younger kids might require additional information from you that you may not be ready to discuss).
I received this book from bookfun.org in exchange for an honest review. This book is a treasury of information that all people need. Dr. Trimm has pulled Bible verses together that will help anyone who wants to better understand how God speaks into lives with His love.
This is an encouraging book for people who have a dream from God yet feel frustrated in their progress. She reminds us that great achievers has to face and overcome problems. She helps us visualize, etc. The only thing I did not like about the book is that she draws on some who practice new age or eastern spirituality. I would have preferred she stuck with biblical examples. If you can stick with the biblical and overlook the nonbiblical, this is a good book. See my complete review at http://bit.ly/1rtJhWd. I received a complimentary copy of this book through the Book Club Network for the purpose of an independent and honest review.
This was an interesting book about how to make your mind, body and soul rethink. Consciousness plays a big part as well. I liked that as a caterpillar pushes out of its cocoon, so must we as people. After we push we will see beauty. To tie into the butterfly aspect the sections of this book are called wombs. There are a lot of good analogies in this book, and that made the major points easier for me to remember. I am giving this book a 4/5. I was given a copy to review from The Book Club Network Inc,. However all opinions are my own.
For the most part, I really enjoyed this book. Its been some time since I've read a book by this author and I'm sure after reading this book I will be reading more from her. I will say that there were some parts of this book that we a little over my head, however I enjoyed the connection she made between a woman being pregnant and how God helps us to grow into the individuals he needs us to be. Overall, I would recommend this book. I found it to be positive and encouraging. I was able to take away a lot from this book.
I picked up this book expecting it to be another one to motivate one into a better prayer life but I got much more than that. I have been encouraged to birth the destiny and potential locked up inside of me. I have been encouraged and have been given the tools to be the Champion heaven created me to be. Thank you Dr Cindy Trimm for allowing God use you to give us this literal midwife.
PUSH(Persevere until Success Happens) through prayer is another success of Dr Cindy Trimm. She relates the birthing process to who we are, how we think, and divine potential. I always get so much from Dr. Trimm's books. They need to be re-read several times to get the full understanding of it. I received the book from the Book Club Club Network in exchange for my honest opinion.
PUSH: Persevere Until Success Happens Through Prayer by Cindy Trimm is a very well put together book that helps you understand the how to pray for, during and after your success comes to pass while giving a descriptive detailing on the different components of the birthing process that one has to endure.
I would recommend this book to anyone in need of inspiration to push on. Persevere Until Success Happens. Great illustrations and scriptural references
I chose the book because Cindy is an awesome speaker. I enjoyed the scripture base of the many passages yet the rambling on and on exhausted me. I'm sure I will pick it up from time to time to pull out the many nuggets that this book has to offer
Cindy Trimm’s analogies of the pressures and struggles of life being similar to the stages, efforts, and pain of childbirth, helps me be more objective about hard seasons in life; to persevere; to look for what God is growing in me for His glory. Thank you to the author for these and other insights, and for practical tips to keep hope strong. This book blessed me.
I enjoy Cindy Trimm's teachings. This book felt like a redux of insights I've gleaned from her teachings elsewhere. It's good, just didn't feel as revelatory or thought-provoking as some of her other books.
My life will never be the same after reading this book. The nuggets, insight, and depth of wisdom Dr. Trimm shared is stitched in the core of my being. I took away so many highlights and now ready to PUSH!
This book is good for those in a birthing season. What that mean is you're in a place where you know that something is inside you that needs to come out. I would recommend.

This is the second book that I have read by Dr. Cindy Trimm, “,B>Reclaim Your Soul” being the first. This book – “PUSH” – “Persevere Until Success Happens; Through Prayer” – however, landed in my mailbox at exactly the right time. Some may wonder about the references and quotes from “New Age” philosophers that are throughout her books, I don’t. They are just that… references and quotes. I don’t think that we should shun sound advice because of the messenger. However, that being said… Dr. Trimm balances all of her writings with sound biblical references.
As with her other book, I found this book to be very positive and encouraging for anyone who wonders just if they can achieve anything with their lives. In my opinion, this is a book that will require more than a cursory reading. As I said, it appeared when I needed to hear it most and I am looking forward to a more in-depth study of this book. I look forward to future writings by Dr. Trimm.
