Marley Roberts has a one night policy: Only one night, her pleasure and no strings attached. She isn't looking for love and she certainly isn't looking for Max, the one man who broke her heart all those years ago. Her ideal man is one created between the covers of a book or the models portraying them. With her two best friends in tow, Marley sets out to find herself some eye candy that will rock her world for the night and help her forget the past.

Haylie Harbour grew up on the wrong side of the tracks and was dealt a crappy hand in life. Rising above it, she now finds herself wed to a millionaire who wants for nothing. Or so she thinks. When her perfect marriage diminishes, with one 18 year old bent over her husband's desk, Haylie can see just how far she has lost who she is. Haylie is determined to pull herself up and dust herself off and she knows just the book boyfriend to help. After having so many frogs, Haylie is hoping to find herself a prince.

Victoria (Tori) Andrews couldn't be anymore different than her two best friends Marley and Haylie. Tori is a proper woman with a very strict schedule that adheres to every aspect of her life. So when Tori's husband decides that the mediocre life they have been living, just isn't enough anymore; Tori has to do some soul searching if she wants to keep the man she loves. She knows her bedroom skills are lacking but she isn't sure how to open up to Jake. Going away with her best friends to a book signing may just be what Tori needs, or so she thinks.

Wow! What a terrific book and such in depth characters. With three main female leads, there was no flow problem in this book and I was equally curious about all three! I hated early for those who hurt Marley, grieved for Haylie's loss and chided Tori for childish behavior. I read this in one sitting because you gave me no choice. I had to know what happened! I do wish there was a better ending... leading in with three characters, focusing on them equally and then only giving one a proper ending... well that sucked. I wanted more and still do! I loved that this book encapsulated every book fan out there who has book boyfriends. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS BOOK! My recommendation is: Read it, you won't regret it!!

Marley, Tori, Haylie… three women who couldn’t be more different, have known each other since at least college, have their book clubs, and start the Boyfriend Bookstand Blog. It isn’t even so much about the blog/blogging as it is about the lives of these three women intertwined throughout the time they have known each other, about having each others’ backs, about friendship.

Right from the start Marley was my favorite. Seemingly tough as nails, nothing phases her, she had an interesting upbringing that could mess with the best of us. Yet here she is in all of her glorious fabulousness taking the bull by the horns.

Tori. Tori. Tori. Lord I wanted to pull that stick out of her… yeah. She was that friend, the one who disapproves of all those pictures we post on Facebook, the one who from the outside has the perfect glass house. Then I got to know her more and I was rooting that girl on!

Marley. Poor Marley. I want to fictionally castrate someone in her life. I want to see that girl get hers. She deserves it big time.

Through it all, thick and thin, there are these three women who love the books we all love.

It was an awesome journey. I devoured this book, swiping page after page, wondering if their friendship would survive certain situations, questioning what Marley was going to do with Max, I just enjoyed the whole ride. I cannot wait for the next book in this series!

If you love a book about friendship that’s a little saucy and quite a bit sexy, you must read Grinding In Greenville.

I freaking loved this book hard.

Now how to put them on my favorite author list? Individually or as a group? They have to be there.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review

This story is about 3 women with completely different backgrounds who come together through their love of books. You’re captivated by their stories throughout the book and are wanting to know what happens next with them when the book ends. These women did an amazing job pulling you into the story and keeping you entertained and entranced throughout the whole story!

I loved that this book wasn’t like any of the other books that I’ve read! It involved woman who are book nerds like the rest of us and dream about their book boyfriends. I also enjoyed reading about their experiences with some of the cover models (sigh… I could only wish!) I had just recently went to my first author event in July and I can agree that those events are crazy but so much fun!

I think that my favorite part of this book was that even though books brought them together, they have become the best of friends. They love each other like sisters and help in any way they can when the other is in trouble or is having a hard time. I think that should pretty much every relationship that begins with books. It doesn’t just stop there, the books are just the beginning.

If you are looking for a book that will having you laughing out loud, hot in all the right places, and just an overall good read, this is the book for you! I’ll be interested to see what these ladies have in mind for the next book!

**Review for Book Boyfriend Hangover**

This book really took me by surprise. I didn't expect to love it like I did.
It suck me in with Marley's wild character and had me hooked from the beginning. I loved that it was so unique. The story was diffidently not what I'm used to which had be very intrigued. There were scenes where I laughed so hard I cried. I was truly amazed at how well three different authors came together to write this story. It was fun, sexy, intense and kept me wanting more the entire time. I was truly blown away by how hot so the scenes where in this book! I thought it was so cool how the characters go to a book signing in Greenville NC especially since I had just went to one which is why I choose to review the book to begin with. That made it so much more exciting!!! I can't wait to see what happens next. I will be recommending this to all of my book friends!

** ARC REVIEW FROM ABIBLIOPHOBIA ANONYMOUS BOOK REVIEWS **

You ever wonder where are the books about us book whore's? A book that has things in it that I have thought about, fawned over and would love to live? Well my Book whore's, Grinding in Greenville is that book.

Marley, Haylie and Tori are three best friends who have all lived different life's and are three individual people. When life starts turning upside down for all three at the same time, Marley puts plans in motion for the girls weekend doing the thing that brought them all together... Books. Grinding in Greenville book signing is the right place to go to have some naughty fun and meet their favorite authors. What happens in Greenville stays in Greenville.

"Subdue your man. Show some dominance then maybe jus maybe he'll praise the pootie."- Marley

Ladies, this is a sexy book. Marley has an slight obsession with Gedion, and she makes her fantasies come true... With all her book boyfriends. I loved Marley. She is a foul mouth, do what makes you happy kind of person. The one who brings Boyfriend Bookstand to fruition.

"To tell you the truth, even reading doesn't feel like an escape anymore."- Haylie

Haylie has the perfect husband and her business, Morning Grind. But when her life gets turned upside down, it's time for her to take her life in her own hands.

"Life isn't a fairytale doll. The shit you read in books isn't real, it's prettied up for spoiled bitches like you."- Max

Tori has the husband, two kids and nice house, but everything isn't like it seems. When a gift from Marley and Tori's own actions upturns her marriage, can a weekend in Greenville and those beautiful male models help or hurt her marriage even more?

MY THOUGHTS:
Each girl will have their own situations to overcome and a encounter, or a few in Grinding in Greenville. Now, if that title doesn't speak for its self, then I don't know what does. Sexy book models, book boyfriends fantasies coming to life, best friends and a Facebook page solely for sexy guys. This is Grinding in Greenville. Each has their own story, own struggle in this book. We get three different POVs and a I really loved that. We get to read their own words. This book is sassy, funny, sexy and real. I will be the first one to raise my hand and say that yes, countless of books have turned me on and my husband is a very happy man because of them. That I've looked at these book models and thought... Wondered what went on at the huge book signings. It hits on every one of those. And let me just say, Marley's Gedion aka Collin, I think we all know what model he is. I liked that each author put in a bit or even more of themselves in the book. The part from Tori and the pain for her mom, I know that pain and I hurt for her while reading it. What parts are real and what aren't, I guess we'll never know ;)

I absolutely LOVED Grinding in Greenville~ This story of three beautiful ladies, maybe a little broken, but not giving up, instead learning to own who and what they are and want to be.

The characters are awesome. Marley, I secretly adore! I wish I could be a little more like her! Instead I'm a little more like Haylie...just kind of going with the flow, not rocking the boat at all, and appreciating what I have.

This was a touch emotional, some was just plain wild and crazy, and never in a million years would I have the guts to do what they did!

I love Jack and Tori, and Zig and Zag...LOL

The best part, other than the wild n crazy sex and talk, is the fact that most happens at book signings, holy shit, I've not ever been to one, but good Lord, I think it's a must now! Even though they can't get THAT crazy, can they? Seriously, they've given up so much of themselves in this book that you almost feel as though you've become a friend (or at he very least, a follower)

Grinding takes us lightly through their formative years, learning a little of why they are, and how hard they've worked to become, who they are today. The story leaves you wondering what parts are really them, and what parts they had to "invent" to create such a wonderfully flowing, welcome, crazy hot, wild, sexy story. Thanks for such an enjoyable read!

I've headed over and Liked the Boyfriend Bookstand and I suggest you do too!

Seriously, I'm giving this book 5 SEXY STARS and 4.5 STORY STARS because it was just so smooth, enjoyable, sexy, wild, crazy story with such wonderful characterization and description! DEFINITELY worth your time!

Grinding in Greenville is a great read. It follows three friends. Victoria, Hailey, and Marley. They all have some issues and seem to come from different backgrounds but that doesn't stop them from being best friends.
We get a little insight on the girls past so we can better see where they are coming from. The transitions between past and present are flawless. They are all fun loving characters. They are well written and easy to connect with. Marley was my favorite one to read about.
Marley, Hailey, and Tori are a little crazy and their weekend at the Greenville book signing is a great to read.
There are some creepy guys who are suppose to be DOMs that make an appearance at the book signing. Also Max from Marley's past shows up. I'm not sure if I like Max or not. I'm pretty sure we haven't seen the last of these guys. I can't wait to see what Marley, Hailey, and Tori are up to in book two, Naughty in Nashville.

irst let me start by saying yes, I gave it ten stars, even though I can really only give it five stars. But, if I could give it ten, I totally would. There are several things about this book that you should know before I get into the actual review. First this book is like nothing else out there right now. It’s written by three authors and while each author’s story comes out, the way the story blends is just perfect. It slides from story to story without seeming choppy or dropped in. The second thing that you should know is that this book doesn’t pull any punches. They say what they want to say, no filter. I loved that about this book.

Okay, review time. This book hit me on a personal level. I was able to connect to each of the characters on one level or another. I absolutely saw a piece of myself in each of these women, whether it was the situations they had gone through, the growth they made or the attitude that they showed.

Marley is the outside the box character, she speaks her mind and does what she want. She’s had too many people fuck with her in the past and she’s become wary and hardened. It’s easy to see why she is the way that she is. I wish I had the strength and the humor that Marley does as she goes through life. Haylie came from a messed up background and lost so much, but her motto kept her going. But her struggles didn’t end when she grew up, she still had a few more hurdles to get through. I loved watching her grow through the story and find herself. Then you have Victoria. I loved Victoria’s story too. Victoria is thrust into a situation and she kind of just deals with it. It’s not until the end of the story that we see the true blossoming of Victoria.

Each character was going through a different situation, but they somehow found one another and became lifelong friends. From the minute the story starts you can’t help but be drawn in. You root for them, you feel for them, you laugh with them and go holy crap during the sex scenes. It’s honestly easy to care for these women who are not only friends, but seem as close as sisters.

One last thing, before I go, because I know I’ve written more than I usually do. I love that this book takes place in a situation that we can all relate too. We’re all big book fans and this is just a peek inside the world that some of us, haven’t had the opportunity to enjoy.

I highly, highly recommend this book to all those looking for a laugh, sexy scenes and if you’re just in the mood for an overall good book.

This book was AWESOME!! Seriously this book was filled with laughter, sexiness, hot sex, and great friends. On to my character reviews..

Tori was such a prude to the extent that you will just roll your eyes and giggle. No cussing , no booze, no drugs, and no peen. This girl is UPTIGHT!! She was all that plus some but she was also loving and caring towards her best friends regardless of their past. Tori was the one with the more balanced family and more money but that never mattered to the girls. She made it through to her junior year of college before she ever had let loose and sex but that one time changed her life forever.

Haylie was the less uptight one and had the less fortunate life growing up but rough around the edges also. Trying to raise a baby brother at such a young age with no parental guidance can do that to a gal. During that time she had to deal with so much hurt and tragedy that she had to be strong to survive. All that being said this girl made her life rock!! She worked her butt off to get the life she wanted.

Marley... SMH... Oh Marley.. SMH... This chick.. OMG... She truly rocked my world in this book. She made me laugh out loud a few times, tear up a little, and so damn proud of her. I loved her character so much because she truly brings this trio together. She is sassy, bold, honest to a fault, strong willed, sexy as hell, and just does not put up with anyones BS. She had a rough past as well but she also made a life for herself and didn't let her past own her.

These girls are amazing together. They love hard, play harder and well they do that a bit harder too ;) Marley, Tori, and Haylie are just perfect together and they make you want to be a part of their trio so bad. It is so hard to find friends that you click with like that these days. Thanks ladies for such an awesome book. I have granted 5 rock hard stars to this beauty :)

Grinding in Greenville is a book that follows the lives of three very different best friends from three very different backgrounds but they all have one thing in common...they love to read.

First we have Marley who grew up in Woodstock, NY...and all that being from Woodstock implies...Marley definitely had a very interesting life growing up. She is that friend of yours that doesn't have a filter, loves hot men (and doesn't care who knows it), loves sex, sexy books and her friends even more.

Next we have Haley. Haley is that friend of yours that comes from the wrong side of the tracks and has had a very rough time growing up. Her mother is a drug addicted w***e who cares about nothing other than where her next fix is coming from. If it wasn't for a wonderful teacher Haley probably wouldn't have accomplished all that she has or meet her best friends.

Last we have Tori. Tori is that friend of yours that blushes if you say the word vagina, has ocd and secretly has an affliction for naughty sex. She had a very different bringing up than either Marley or Hailey, she was raised with two very loving if not somewhat overbearing parents and Tori also had a very different experience of college than either of her best friends.

Whatever kind of friend you are or have you will be able to identify with each of these ladies and fall in love with them and their stories just like I did. The fact that this book was written by three different authors astounds me and you can't tell because the writing just flows so beautifully. I laughed, I cried and I had to catch my breath a time or two at Marleys antics (even though she is the one that I identify with most she still surprised me lol). You will not go wrong reading this book and I can not wait to read the next in the series.

My Rating:
4.5

Favorite Quotes:

“Bloggers (fan girls, as some called themselves) were the worst mothers-of-the-bride on the planet.”

“I majored in business psychology and minored in frat boys. I was at the top of my class and on top of whoever I desired.”

“The way he looked at me made my jewel clench and my bedazzles bead up.”

“Bash the gash, audition the finger puppets, flicking the bean -.”

“Someday I too would find my dream guy. Until then, I read to feel. I read to escape, I read to fill a hole, I read for the bond it brings to me and my friends, I read to learn my life hasn’t been as bad as many others, I read to fall in stupid love with men who can’t hurt me, and I read so that I never lose hope that someday a man like one in the books, with balls bigger than mine, will walk out of the pages and into my life.”

My Review:

I adored this smut monster of a book. I giggled, gasped, and smirked through it in one afternoon, while never wanting to put it down…and actually mourned reaching the end. I had a hard time finding favorite quotes what Amazon would allow me to post as the language is… earthy. The writing is bitingly clever, naughtily witty, insightful, entertaining, visual, smartly detailed, and downright addictive. I loved every page of every chapter and fervently wish I could join their sorority. I would pledge unfailing loyalty and promise to bring the wine.

Where's the fire extinguisher??!!! I need to be doused immediately after reading this! Yes there are some amazing sex scenes, but this book had so much more! It has every thing you could possibly want in a book. Haylie, Victoria, and Marley are three friends from all different walks of life, who come together to be the best of friends. They each share experiences and give us a piece of them that has made them who they are. Haylie...I just LOVE you!!! What was there to break you, only made you stronger! That Jimmy Dean needed to be cut, but he's the one who got screwed in the end.
Victoria....I loved seeing you transform!! Who says a good girl can't have fun??!!!
Marley....Every girl needs a friend like you! You have their backs and aren't afraid to be totally honest with them!
I really loved Grinding in Greenville! Do not let this pass you by, READ IT!!! I definitely can not wait to read more from these authors! P.S. when's the next author signing????!!!! I have GOT to see what it's all about after reading this book :)

I received this book in return for an honest review.

5 Crazy Ass Stars!!!!!!

OMG! I wish there were more stars to rate because this definitely deserves more than just 5 stars. I laughed, cried, got pissed, you name the emotion, I went through it reading this book. I totally misjudge the book by the cover and didn't really want to read it but being as fellow bloggers wrote it, I thought I would suck it it, give my support, and just hope it was good. Boy, was I wrong! I'm so glad I read this because I would have missed out on an awesome reading experience. I started reading this at 5:00 PM and stayed up until 2:30 AM to finish. I was sucked in right off the bat. I was able to connect with the characters and got a great sense of who they are. I loved how Tori's story played out and can't wait to read what's next for BFBS!

Great job, Ladies!!! Most definitely a huge fan!

I absolutely loved this story! I wasn't expecting to like this book as much as I did. Seriously... I open mouthed laughed at this book. Like I said about Kink vs. Class, Marley is my favorite, the foul mouth dirty girl reminds me a little of myself. Yeah right I wish. YOU.MUST.READ this series. Its hysterical, and the friends are loyal to each other. They pretty much have douch bag guys, but its fun while they go through the motions.

Original Blog Post: Blog Tour, eARC Review, Excerpt Giveaway: Grinding In Greenville by Victoria Andrews, Haylie Harbour, Marley Roberts

Obviously Grinding in Greenville's authors are using pen names since they're the same as the characters in the book! But I like their style, and (I think) having three writers each do a POV then merge them into one novel is an idea that totally works.

Friends in love with books decide, after their book club, to start a blog reviewing the novel's they've already read and also to get books from authors to promote them on social media. Eherm. That sounds mighty familiar. It's such fun when you get into a story and sorta kinda recognize yourself in some of the characters. AND have read most of the books mentioned or know the authors talked about, too.

These three are so different you'd wonder how ever they could be friends. But it's this very diversity that makes them friends because they complement, strengthen, and smoothen each other out. Isn't it always this way with a great set of BFFs?

Marley is wild, and it's normal for her. She grew up without inhibitions, with the hippie lifestyle and free love being the norm. No filtered talk and nothing off limits, she says what she wants, does as she pleases, and sleeps with whoever she finds interesting - as long as they remind her of one of her book boyfriends and she can reenact one scene or the other. I'd love to have her as a friend if I wouldn't be on edge with what could come out of her mouth.

Haley is one traumatized person with a trail of abuse following her throughout her childhood and adolescence. Always bullied and hurt, she never believed that anyone could love her or that she deserved to be cared for. While she wants her fairy tale ending, she's not too surprised that her husband isn't interested in making her dreams come true. She's hurt once again and thinks that fate is just doing her job.

Then there's Victoria. Pampered princess, protected baby, everything-planned-out perfect girl. Until she meets Jake. Then her life is turned upside down and inside out and she doesn't know where the heck she is headed. So she closes herself up in a shell and refuses to allow anything to shake what perfection she has left. This very act of self-protection, though, might cost her what is most important in her life.

Books are what bind these three together tightest and a book club, then a book blog, then an author event tighten it up even more. Honestly I never thought an author event would have cover models parading around; I always imagined it as a staid book signing thingy, not some event with racy potential. Maybe attending one would prove interesting...

But what's focused on here is what's real between one friend and her life partner. While it may not have started out as passionate between them, things could always change, right? After all, what's priority is real life, despite the void filled up by the fantasies in romances and erotica. There is a reason why they're called fantasy, anyway. It's not often that stuff like this really happens!

That incident with Haley and the model, though. That for me is the danger of these books. Any would-be Dom may think that all he needs is a fantasy copied in real life without knowing the deeper, more important parts of the lifestyle. That's scary for any woman (or man) who would want to try being a sub and get stuck with these jerks instead.

Grinding in Greenville had me laughing in some places and caused my heart to flutter in others. There is some hard-core erotic stuff here but a fair share of romance, too. And the chuckles! I do say this book is complete in all aspects. Lastly, I agree with the Christian vs Gideon opinion. Christian has that sweet vibe going while Gideon is all dark. Then that chase scene that was almost Fifty Shades Freed. I could go on and on about what made this for me but I think I need to quit it right here.

Well what an amazing ride, this story will push every button you have and the reason why, because it has it heart in the one topic that we all absolutely love, books!

Three of the best friends you are every likely to find, bonded on many levels but with an intrinsic love of books, or more to the point erotica – get in there ladies!!!

Marley had and unconventional upbringing to say the least but when the one man she can’t shake the memory of left her emotionally scarred her, she moved her purpose to the men that she can find hidden in the pages of some of the best romantic novels on the market. Searching out her own, Christian, Gideon or Remington means that no-one has to know who she really is and she can revel in her fantasy because it won’t break her heart. One night is enough for Marley, a serial love them and leave devotee. But she shake the spectre of Max forever?

Marley beat friend if Haylie, life was a rough start for Haylie but finally married to who she perceives to be the man of her dreams she has everything she could possibly want, or at least what her husband could possibly want her to have, because thinking for herself is definitely not on his agenda for her, this arrogant lawyer believes that he complete control of everything she does and that her role is to be the wife that he has determine fit for him, her self-worth is waning but when she discovers the truth of his late nights at the office, Haylie finally gets the gumption to call time on her shame of a marriage and walk out. You go girl, the arrogant fool deserves everything you can dish out! Picking up the pieces, Haylie knows she has Marley beside her and with the friend Tori also, she can stand tall and find her soul mate, or at least enjoy sampling what is on offer.

BFF number three is Tori ( Victoria) and she is the slightly more reserved of the bunch, not to say that she can’t let go but it is going to take a fair bit of coaxing to get her inner vixen to let loose. Tori is married to Jake, and I have to admit that I liked Jake, he stood up and took responsibility for Tori when she fell pregnant after their first night together, giving up all his youthful philandering and doing the honourable thing, but that responsibility so early on took a toll on them both and their relationship was loving but stale.

When Jake pushes the fact that they are stagnant and that they can’t continue as they are, Tori finally believes that she has lost the man she loves, because sexually naive, Tori doesn’t know how to be the woman that Jake wants and like the good little wife she has always given her husband wants he gets, even if that means he doesn’t want her.

With all their trials and tribulations piling up, they take time out for themselves and head off to a book signing a couple of days with nothing other than they favourite authors, so smoking hot models and a chance to forget it all and cut loose.

Does it all go to plan, not a chance, do they all find their happy ever after, well one of them never lost it and that resolution was woven beautifully into the story.

I liked Max’s determination but understood the dynamic between him and Marley. He was a fabulous Alpha male one that I would like to hear more from.

I loved the references that were made throughout the book to some of the giants of our genre and I hope that this is not the end for the ladies, they have more to give, their stories have a way to go and I would like to find a happy corner for them all to inhabit.

An unusual diversion from many of the books in this genre but one that was light and funny. Honest and heart-warming but raw in elements, giving credence to the fact that self-esteem is not bought or bred it is cultured, grown and developed within us all as we grow and shape our own futures. We are all a product of the events that we allow to shape us, not the other way round.

I got offered the chance to read this book in return for an honest review ,,, after reading the synopsis I was very keen to read it ,,, so here goes!!

So with this book you are going to be getting something different ,,, this is not a boy meets girl, boy gets girl, boy ;) ;) girl, boy marries girl, boy becomes man when girl bores his baby ,,,, NO that is not what this book is about ,,, you get three different lives from three women three different warps of life three different out looks ,,, all in one book ,,, these women are brought together with one thing in common ,,,, BOOKS ,,, the love of smut ,,, the books that we all love to read which is why YOU are reading this review right now ;) ,,, don't stress people there's plenty of the good stuff in this book too ;) and it will get you hot under that collar of yours too ;)

So the three women we meet here are Marley ,,, Marley is the 'naughty' one of the three ,,, she came from a home that's far from conventional ,,, she had a mum and two fathers and not even known which is her biological ,,, she met someone he touched her knew her ,,, knew her likes dislikes ,,, desires ,,, he gave her highest of highs and set those standards high for any future competition ,,, but he will also be her biggest down fall ,,,, in just one moment destroys her beliefs and she then has a completely different out look on life ,,, taking the bull by the horns and setting her own rules for what she wants ,,, but sometimes things have a habit of resurfacing ,,, hopefully into book 2 ;)

Tori is the 'good' girl ,,, the virgin doesn't swear from a good stable family upbringing felt the love of her parents and was happy ,,, one night of letting loose led to a number of events which she felt left her life slipping away from her and spiralling out of control ,,, with the 2.4 children family home life but not living just existing seeking comfort and distraction from her books ,,, but she doesn't like this side to surface it's hidden as best she can ,,, sexual desire is non existent ,,, she has a good man that is her husband but guilt is running through her veins ,,, he deserves more and better ,,, But will she meet someone that can be what she wants and needs and give her some fire ,,, NO more like in inferno ;)

Haylie ,,, I don't want to describe Haylie as 'normal' or 'the average girl' because she isn't ,,, BUT she isn't 'good' nor is she 'bad' ,,, Haylie didn't have it easy as a child, far from it ,,, I fact she experienced things that could break so many ,,, she fought hard and strong to get away from that life and she did ,,, for a while ,,, it's horrible to think that some of the choices we make in life have a lasting impact on our future ,,, something we can change and fight but some of the nasty little suckers just keep coming back ,,, Haylie finds herself with the help of a trip and loyal friends ,,, the distraction of smut and something hard to fill the gap ;) ,,, I'm hoping book 2 gives us a lot more of Haylie as I feel like her story is FAR from over

These three have joined forces ,,, bound by books ,,, and now read and blog and enjoy it all

I really did enjoy this read I thought it made a nice change to read something a bit different and I am left wanting more from these girls ,,, a whole lot more ,,, I would definitely recommend this read to anyone

4 Stars!

Marley, Hailey and Tori are 3 close friends that met each other through their love of books. Between the 3 of them they considered themselves a book club. They would read the same books together and meet up to talk about them. Then they decide to start a "Book Blog" on FB so that they can post pictures of sexy ass guys with out their husbands, friends or family seeing them and getting offended. I loved that I was able to relate to certain aspects of the story. So much of this book reminded me of us girls from I Love Story Time!! I loved that this book talks about book signings and the models that are there. Being to a few personally, I was able to picture all the scenes from the book at these types of events.

I could not stop laughing through out this book! I loved it! I loved all the characters, but my favorite was Marley. That girl was hilarious. I think my favorite part with her was how she gave guys different names from different books! I seriously almost wish I was single so I can do that. She was just pure, raw, and straight to the point; holding nothing back. She told it like it was and took it just as hard. Some of the things that came out of her mouth were priceless. I can't wait to read more about her and see who her real life book boyfriend will be! She deserves so much. I am wondering if someone from her past will come back again or if it will be someone new?

Hailey was sweet. I felt bad for her past. Reading about what happened in the past and how she was raised was heartbreaking. Now she is married and owns a bakery and living the life she never thought she would have. But it is not what she thought it was. Then she goes to a book signing and realizes what she has been missing. All I do know is, my favorite scene with her was when she was with David. I seriously could not stop laughing at what she was thinking. I loved that part. I loved it because in all books that I have read, that is never the case. Poor David. LOL... I hope that Hailey gets the fairy tale that she is looking for.

Tori is the most straight and narrow out of the 3 friends. She was raised dotting her "I's" and crossing her "T"s. One night in college she lets loose and her life changes instantly. Now she is married with 2 kids and living the everyday life as a mom. She later finds out something about her husband's past that changes their relationship. Marley and Hailey are there for her to help them work things out. I really did like her husband "Jake- from state farm". I can tell how much he really did love her and willing to give her what she needs. Hope we are able to get more about them in the next book as well!

I really enjoyed this story. It was a great easy, funny and sexy read. I liked the characters and the relationship they had and how open they were with each other. I haven't laughed out loud so much while reading a story in a while so that was nice. I will be looking forward to reading book 2 when it comes out in November to see what comes next for these lovely ladies!

✯✯4 Grinding Hot Stars!!✯✯

This was definitely a cute book. It's about 3 women who met in college. When they first met they didn't think they had much in common. Then, they discovered each others love for books and they became best friends fast. Even though they're very different from each other they are good for each other. Whenever something is wrong they know just which one to call for advice.

Marley is from Woodstock, NY with her sister, mother & 2 fathers. Her parents were total hippies. Marley didn't have the perfect childhood. The one guy she really cared about hurt her. The first chance Marley got she went to college and never looked back. She doesn't do relationships. Marley does do 1 night stands, and the guys are hot. Very. She is the friend who's not afraid to speak her mind, regardless of what comes out.

Haley herself had a hard childhood. Her mother was addicted to drugs. She didn't care about Haley or her little brother. She was only worried about when her next fix was. Luckily for Haley her teacher helped her get into college. Now, she's married to a lawyer and has the perfect life. Her husband doesn't want her working. But, she gets him to agree to letting her open & manage her own cafe. But, he demands on her being home everyday by 3. After meeting with Marley & Tori she decides to surprise her husband at work being he was working late. She's the one surprised though. And, not in a good way though.

Tori on the other hand had the perfect childhood with the perfect parents. Tori is the type of person that blushes at almost everything. While in college Marley & Haley talk Tori into going to a party. Tori goes and sees Jack and has a moment of weakness. Now, she's pregnant and Jack being the good guy that he is he is stepping up. Now, that he's proposed to her & all 4 parents meet. Tori gets home to find out there's been an accident and she's lost her parents. Tori has checked out. 3yrs later her and Jack are still married with 2 beautiful little girls. But, they aren't 100% happy. Marley had given both Tori & Haley some toys. Tori gets busted by Jack. After a huge argument between the 2 of them, Tori decides she's going with the girls to the book signing for the weekend. Her & Jack can figure everything out when they get back.

Now that the girls are at the event things are about to get that much more insane. These girls really are best friends and can talk about anything. They all have their own things going on as well. One of them has a blast from the past. One has a situation with one of the hot, sexy cover models that are walking around. And, another one's relationship does a complete 360 in the perfect way possible. Reading this made my think of me & my friends. I'd laugh at certain things & be crying the next.Somethings were hot & others just down right wrong! I'm glad I read it & hope there will be a book 2 for these 3 friends!!!

irst let me start by saying yes, I gave it ten stars, even though I can really only give it five stars.

Grinding In Greenville
Boyfriend Bookstand Series Book 1
By V. Andrews, H. Harbour and M. Roberts

LOVE IS NOT A STRONG ENOUGH WORD FOR HOW I FEEL ABOUT THIS BOOK. A NEW TOP TEN READ!!!

I was gifted a copy of Grinding In Greenville in exchange for an honest review. I cannot stress how much I loved this book, and how elated I was that the sequel is already out. This is definitely a new top ten favorite for me.

Grinding in Greenville is the story of the loves, lives and struggles of three girlfriends, from very different backgrounds, but with one important thing in common, their love of erotic romances and the men that star in their dreams because of them. One of the best aspects of the book, is the relationship between the three main characters, Marley, Hailey and Victoria. My suspicion is that every woman who reads this book, will instantly identify with one of the three, and wish that they had the other two in real life as their BFF’s.

Marley comes from a very different background. She grew up in a home where the usual sexual mores’ had no place. The town of Woodstock, NY known for free love and hippies. When her parents and boyfriend betray her in an unimaginable way, she does not backdown, give up, or give in. Marley is a leader and a fighter. She makes her way to college on a scholarship, meets her two best friends, gets a successful career, and takes the lead in sexual relationships..

Hailey also grew up in dysfunction. Her mother was a crack addict. She had to learn to do things on her own, and after overcoming a devastating loss in her childhood, she also took control of her life and carried on, until she met James Dean. James appears on the outside to be the ideal husband. He is a rich and powerful attorney. He lavishes Hailey with gifts, and appears happy with their marriage, but is he really, or will he betray her trust with devastating consequences.

Victoria was the character that I most related to in many ways. Victoria was raised in a functional home, but where appearances and doing the right thing was demanded. When she finally lets her self loose at a college party, and loses her virginity while getting pregnant, she does what is expected of her. After a family tragedy leaves her feeling even more guilty about having sex before marriage, can Victoria ever open herself up to the love of her husband Jake.

This book is so good, it is the chocolate candy of books. I suggest that you schedule a full day to read it because once you start you will not want to put it down. I cannot recommend this book enough.

The book is a FUN and GREAT read. The characters are lovable and amazingly relatable. The idea of the storyline could be so true to life. The descriptions of what Marley talks about in regards to the crazy fan girls, bloggers and hot male models at the book signing is every book-loving women’s dream day….(to meet their favorite authors and see some great eye-candy).
Marley was raised in Woodstock, NY, with drugs and lots of free love. She had a mom, two dads, and a sister, named Happy (that cracked me up)… Needless to say her life was anything but normal, it could be said she grew up around one big party. When she had the chance to leave she took it, trying to get away from her messed up family and Max (her first love and the man who took her virginity).
Haylie never had much of a chance growing up in the trailer park with her crack-whore mother. She had so much tragedy in her young life, until one teacher took interest in her future and should her how she could use her knowledge to gain access to better school and to college in the future.
Victoria was an only child that could be described as the one that grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth. She and Haylie were night and day, but they hit it off as friends and it stuck. Victoria led a very sheltered life with her parents, money and country clubs. Even with all the differences Victoria and Haylie remained friends through high school and on to college.
In college is where the threesome was born. Marley is Haylie’s roommate and they hit it off as well. This story is a fun-loving story of three friends from very different backgrounds but love each other just the same. The troubles each of them face while trying to make it through college and begin their adult lives. They make such a great group, Marley the free-spirit, Victoria the up-tight individual (according to Marley), and Haylie their grounding force between the trio.
I loved this book, it is very entertaining. It has sad, happy, crazy, insane, unbelievable things happen but through it all the friendship never falters. I can’t wait to see what is to come when the story continues.

She was all that plus some but she was also loving and caring towards her best friends rregardlessof their past. Tori was the one with the more balanced family and more money but that never mattered to the girls. She made it through to her junior year of college before she ever had let loose and sex but that one time changed her life forever.

Haylie was the less uptight one and had the less fortunate life growing up but hard around the edgges also.

I received an ARC copy from the author for my honest review.

Oh I'm so glad I got the chance to read this! Now, if I only knew if they did signings, I'd be there in a heart beat to meet these girls! And yes Marley, I wondered, what exactly did you ladies pull from your real life and was exactly was made up. I even went to look at each girl's facebook page. (I know, seems stalkerish! But I had to!) I wanted to know how much of their personalities were really in the book.

This was a book I could closely relate to each girl in some form or fashion. I related to the reason Tori was married. It was the same for me but I wouldn't change it all! Haylie had fears that I could relate to and especially her reaction to David. Been there too! Then there's Marley, I relate to her tell it like it is ways. I have my moments I'm told. I also am a part of a book club and some of us have begun a blog as you can tell. We attend author events just the same, but without some of the events these ladies had.

This story is a story told from three different ladies with three very different backgrounds. Each one is a t a different place in their life. Tori - in a marriage where sex is scheduled, everything is the same day in and day out, and it's all nice and neat. Haylie - being exactly and doing exactly what her husband tell her until things hit the fan and she begins to find a backbone. Marley - where to begin? She's still finding her way and running from her past.

Even though these three are different, they are the best of friends, each others' sister, and confidant. This is their story of a trip to an author event in Greenville for a girls' weekend. Again, I was able to relate. To find out what happens in Greenville, you will just have to read! Some will have a HEA and some make some needed changes.

4.5 Stars
