Learn the Play is absolutely incredible! I truly loved Learn the Play by Kaylee Ryan; it is an incredible he falls first/accidental pregnancy love story. It is the third book in her Nashville Rampage series. Kaylee Ryan is an amazing storyteller and is a must read; one click author for me. I was hooked from the first few pages, it was impossible to put Learn the Play down, and I loved every moment on every page. It filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions. It is one of the most enjoyable books that I have read recently. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? I love how Kaylee Ryan somehow manages to find the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong woman on her own, to balance out her men. Learn the Play is the story of Reid Montgomery, starting tight end of the Nashville Rampage and Bellamy Warner, operations manager for Riggins Enterprises. Bellamy and Reid meet at a beach bar after attending separate weddings in California. They share drinks, a walk on the beach, and a night together, but not last names, phones numbers, or where they live. When Reid wakes up, Bellamy is gone. At the Nashville Rampage family day, Bellamy attends with her best friend, Amanda to support her father, Will Warner, the head coach, introduces Bellamy to the team. Reid is so excited to be reunited with his “dream girl” but quickly remember that she hates football. During their time together Bellamy told Reid about her relationship with and her feelings for her father. Reid tries to convince Bellamy to trust him to prove he is different, but she is not interested in having a relationship with a football player. Bellamy soon discovers that she is pregnant. I love the instant chemistry between Bellamy and Reid, their conversation flows so easily, with innuendos and playful banter, and Reid constantly flirting and dirty talking. As they spend time together things change between them, and Reid shows Bellamy that he will be there for her and their baby. I love all the little things that Reid does for Bellamy, and how he calls her “Bell” a nickname that no one else has called her. I love all the changes that both Bellamy and Reid are willing to make in their lives to have a life with one another. I love the text streams between Reid and Bellamy, and Reid and his teammates. An unexpected plot twist causes Bellamy to end up in the hospital; I love how Reid proved that he would put her first regardless of the game and how it changed her relationship with her father. I love how they finally admit their feelings for each other. I love all the heart-to-heart conversations that take place in Learn the Play, especially the ones that they have with their families and friends, and Bellamy has with her parents. Make sure you have Kleenex nearby. I love how Corie, Sloane, Rowan, and the Rampage teammates quickly embraces Bellamy, and become family. One of my favorite parts is the baby shower gift that Bellamy’s Dad gives her, you might need your Kleenex again. My favorite part are the epilogues one told from Bellamy’s perspective, the other from Reid’s perspectives and how it goes above a happily ever after. The epilogues are the perfect ending of their love story, from Reid’s proposal and the location to the name they chose for their baby. Another favorite part was the bonus scene shown from both of their perspective it is the perfect ending of their love story and all the changes that they have made together. I really enjoy how the book is told in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. I love that the dialogue that Kaylee Ryan chooses perfectly fits her characters. My favorite part of the book is how Kaylee Ryan incorporates the title of the book and the picture on the cover into the love story, and how the title is used multiple times throughout the story. This page turner is filled with heartbreaking, heartwarming, poignant, and bittersweet moments as well as plot twists and surprises that I have come to love and expect in a love story and was not disappointed with Kaylee Ryan’s delivery of those things. I love how Kaylee Ryan managed to create the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong, sassy woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy man. I love the characters and the family dynamic in Learn the Play. The characters feel like family and friends, especially Bellamy’s relationship with Corie, Sloane, Rowan, and Reid’s teammates. I especially love all the love that everyone showers on Camden. I love that their friendship feels like family. I love how the football family embraces Bellamy and Reid, who are only children. I enjoyed all the interactions between all the Nashville Rampage football players it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. I love the descriptions of the Nashville location. I loved the relationship between Reid and his teammates. I love how Kaylee Ryan incorporated characters from her other books into Learn the Play. I loved Learn the Play and am so excited to read the other books in the series. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? This book had my interest from the start, and I fell in love with the story. I thoroughly enjoyed Learn the Play who does not love an instant chemistry/accidental pregnancy love story. Highly recommend this incredible love story. Received an advanced copy from the author.
