im still upset about the ending JOSEPHHHHHHHHHHH you deserved better

mostly i was really annoyed that ian made the realisation that ‘hmmm tj and me as a couple is not a great idea we’re too toxic for each other’ and ‘i want to focus on my own life and career goals instead’ AND THEN TURNS AROUND AND RUNS TO THE ONE GUY WHO MANIPULATED HIM HIS ENTIRE LIFE???
YOU COULD HAVE HAD IT ALL WITH JO YOU KNEW HE WAS THE BIGGEST GREEN FLAG AROUND but no he bought a house for tj to come to after leaving prison 😐 and jo fulfilled his photographer dreams but couldn’t move on from ian after so many years 😐😐😐😐

and the epilogue was AWFUL couldn’t even tell it was an epilogue it just felt like a stretched out ending 🙄 no time gap or anything
the only good thing about it was finding out that tobi now runs a shop with tj and ian 🫶🫶 how cute

tj and ian better have the best domestic life everyday for the rest of their years I HOPE LEAVING JO WAS FLIPPING WORTH IT IAN. making me almost cry in costa when jo started crying and told ian to be happy with his life and not look back GODDDDD

the worst part about this is that i don’t understand how it’s gonna work in the long run since i can imagine tj and ian getting sick of each other after a few years all they do is pounce on each other or reminisce about their horrible past together

BUT HUZZAH FOR THE GANG FINALLY BEING OVERTHROWN chiwoon lowkey has such aura i trust the k35 in his hands he would do a much better job than tj

BUT ALL IN ALL this was an amazing bl i felt like a changed woman coming out of it, i mean now i know i would love to be stuck in a secluded parking lot in a bougie ahh car with a man in a suit 👀 WHATTT WHO SAID THAT 🫪🫪

The first thing I felt when I saw your face was relief.

The exquisite tragedy of Shin Youngwoo and Oh Taejoon: wanting to protect each other from a world that has always been hostile to them, and hurting each other in the process, over and over again, because neither knows how to communicate how deeply they love the other.

Season 1 starts with Youngwoo wanting to leave and Taejoon wanting him to stay.
Season 2 starts with Youngwoo wanting to stay and Taejoon leaving to protect him.
There’s something so Shakespearean about this. I’m in love.

Maybe you really decided to let me go, and this might actually be the end of us.


P.S. This volume really cemented that Jo is toxic, manipulative, and absolutely disgusting...

marynowała się ta manhwa i marynowała na mojej długiej liście „do przeczytania”, aż w końcu (widząc coraz więcej spoilerów) wgryzłam się w nią z pewną rezerwą, nie spodziewając się jednak, że ona wgryzie się we mnie i to tak się wgryzie, że ja cię kręcę. dawno nic mi tak nie zmieniło chemii w mózgu.

This manhwa has to feature one of the best bl love triangles of all time because I swear I've never been so seamlessly dissuaded from my ride-or-die pick to end up with the protagonist. I don't know how I've jumped ship to become a ride-or-die for the other male lead while also not hating my old fav (since a lot of authors love to nerf one love interest to uplift the other) . At this point I'll always have a strong favourite, but be ultimately satisfied with whoever Ian ends up with since all of these characters have such amazing depth to them. Doyak is such a great storyteller.

After being a TJ truther through yearsss worth of updates (that friends-to-lovers plot had me hooked to him as endgame), I've finally seen the light. I adore Jo. Ian deserves peace, and at this point I can't see how anyone but Jo can offer him a life of that.

Die Story geht recht langsam voran, aber ich denke, das war die Ruhe vor dem Sturm.
So richtig kommt Ian von TJ nicht los. Jo lässt Ian viel Raum, weil er ihn nicht bedrängen will, obwohl er nichts lieber als das täte. Und TJ? Gibt er Ian frei? Dieses Dreieck bereitet mir Kopfschmerzen.
Ich bin ja großer TJ Fan aber ganz abholen konnte mich dieser Teil nicht. Selbstverständlich bleibe ich dran. Teil 5 liegt auch schon bereit.
