The Devil Trilogy #1

The Devil Behind Me

Rate this book
*******This book is the first in the series and includes a cliffhanger ending******

"My name is Addie Sakis, I had a promising future once. I had my whole life planned out, but after that tragic day, everything changed. The world I coveted no longer existed. Ten years went by until one day when Daimon Evans, the boy who bullied me continuously in high school, reemerged back into my life, offering me all that I wanted in exchange for one thing....me."

Addie Sakis had a sad past, a past that overshadowed her future. She clung to it not knowing how to let it go. That was until Daimon Evans came back into her life challenging her and pushing her back to the fighter he knew still existed inside her. If only she knew that Daimon wasn't the devil she thought, but rather it was her demons that ruled her, the demons that lay inside her soul.

How far will Addie go to help her family? Which line won't she cross as she deals with the devil she calls Daimon?

Note from the Author: This is a dysfunctional love and hate trilogy that involves emotional blackmail and a few other situations that the one wouldn't do to the person they liked or loved. Addie and Daimon do what they do under the guise of a love that hurts so good. Happy Reading.

5 "I love to hate you" stars

This is book1 in The Devil Trilogy and this is also the first book I have read from this author.

what intrigued me is the pull i get from love/hate relationships and I had a hunch that this might be the case here...

The story - nothing new there actually BUT i wasn't looking for new, i went for the tried pattern and I wanted to see how it would work for me...I expected angst, angry banter and impossible situation in which the main characters would struggle with themselves and againt each other...

what I got was more, more, more than I bargained for, I got mind fuck and banter with snarky, cruel and harsh dialogues and I was just sucked into the fable...

Diamon Evans

and Addie Sakis

met in highschool. It was a rich environment setting, Diamon being a rich entitled arrogant little prick and a fuckin bully and Addie being a high school grant receiver from the poor side of the town. Classical abuse and pattern...BUT what surprised the HELL out of me is the heroine - rarely I come across a girl/woman character that stands up for herself to the bullies and injustice around her. And dispite all the cruel and devious shit the rich spoiled brats or bastards (whatever suits you) pulled on her, she stood tall and fought back in anyway she could.

Fantastic! I LOVED Addie! I cheered for her and threw punches with her...and to tell you the truth I hated little Diamon back then...I really did. I hate bullies of any kind.

BUT Addie survives it all and is set to go to YALE on a scholarship and then the tragic thing happens that set the motion backwards for Addie and her life turns into hard labour, giving up on her dreams and her life. She devotes herself to her family and keeping her family restaurant upfloat BUT things just keep turning to shit...

TEN YEARS pass and all of the sudden the tall, dark and dangerous billionaire Diamon

enters her life again with a proposal a desperate BUT still proud woman is confornted with and the wages are a small price for her to pay in order to save her familiy's business, her sister's education, her father's health...

and the price is HER. She needs to stay with Diamon for his purposes and on his back and call, whenever and wherever he demands....

it seems like the bully hasn't changed hence the wolf may change his fur but never his nature

BUT Addie won't take his shit...and she will fight for herself even when she's out numbered and overtaken by this wolf and other rich and ugly bullshiters.

BUT it also seems that Diamon has another side to him, a side that might have been misinterpreted and disguised by immaturity and inability to show how he truly feels in the high school days and his diabolique mood changes and when he's acting like somekinda bipolar - cruel yet tender, harsh yet caring gave me whiplashes...

OR is he really set on some other devious plan to take Addie down, and make her submissive and completely his...BUT with what agenda?

He's a total mistery to me, I had a hard time liking him and still am not sure if I do LOL

Very interesting fast paced tempo, interactions go up and down, it's a whirpool of everything you know and don't know that can easily take on another level...

I never thought I would see this day, but I couldn't finish the book.
I usually try to finish the books I start, because I respect the author's efforts to write and publish. I understand that it is not easy. But I honestly could not make myself finish the story.
The blurb is actually interesting. A teenager girl was bullied in highschool by a boy. Ten years after they meet again. He is rich, she is poor and still working at her family's restaurant. He starts torturing her again, she is still resisting and then he offers her money and she submits (kind of).
The first part when they were in highschool, it was the most interesting part. I could understand her torment and I could feel for her. I could also understand what a rich jerk was the boy. It was like I was reading a young adult book, which I don't really mind. I occasionally read young adult books.
10 years after and the dialogues are unbelievable. It was like they haven't grown up a single day-although they were supposed to be almost 30 years old. I really wanted to shout to the guy "stop pulling her hair! I am gonna call your parents" and "young lady if he is causing you any problems, go to the principal!".
Anyway, I cheated and I had a quick look at the end of the book (although I have never done this before as well) just to see if something will happen. There was supposed to be a big cliffhanger at the end. But again, I was disappointed.
I am sorry, I will not continue with this series.

Genre: CR serial
Sensuality: PG

H had always tortured h in high school to get her attention. h thought that she will leave all the HS drama behind with her full scholarship ride to Yale University but that all crumbled when her mother died.

10 yrs later, H walks into h's family diner and acts like it's still HS. Their relationship is the adult equivalent of the boy dipping the girl's pigtails in ink. It's very juvenile, but kinda riveting in a Harlequin trainwreck sort of way.

Be warned that the h is one of the most effing annoying martyrs I've read in a long time. Could rival any Mary Balogh in terms of that crap.

This ebook also needs to be proofread. According to the bookblurb, this was edited by Hot Tree Editing. If that's true, then the author has been ripped off of her $300. I would ask for a refund if I was her.

drama

This book was a pleasant surprise for me, especially, because it is
a) not an erotica novel, and
b) is describing the feelings, actions and thoughts of a person (aka female MC and narrator) with no sense of self-worth and self-inflicted martyrdom to its finest

The Devil Behind Me doesn't earn five stars for a few simple reasons. The beginning was crowded and seemed unnecessary. The introduction of Daimon could have been made just as with every other person. Though I understand the need to differ him from other characters, since he's the male MC and tormentor, but it created a very bumpy start. Secondly I felt like some sentences were repeated, just as descriptions and explanations.

All characters main and secondary felt well-rounded and (un)believable, simply human. Even though Daimon's behavior is absolutely unbelievable, ridiculous, arrogant and simply annoying, somehow you get a faint sense why he behaves like that - especially because he seemingly is an ass only to Addie.
Addie herself is the perfect self-inflicted martyr for her family. She feels responsible for everything. Her behavior is absolutely believable.
That what these two feel for another cannot be described better as hate-love.
I don't know if I should

or rather

probably both.

I'll definitely check out the sequel. buy it now

A short story and the first part of a trilogy series, The Devil Behind Me lives up to the title and the authors warning. This is a love/hate story centered on two people, Addie and Daimon, two people who have a very dysfunctional history and when their paths cross ten years past their troubling teen years, feelings between them ( good and bad) only intensify.

We get the story from Addie’s point of view and with this we gain a good picture of her history; her family and all of the trials and tribulations that have affected her. Addie endured years of bullying in highschool by Daimon and we see how this forms her personality. She’s had to make hard choices and at times, she’s really been left no choices at all. She has no control over the big picture; the decline of her families diner and livelihood and her fathers unfortunate disease but the devotion to her family, her father and sister, drive her life and her choices.

At times, Addie’s manic mood swings make it hard to champion her. Don’t get me wrong, I felt sympathy for her and her situation as she has had a lot to contend with, so yes it is understandable. But there were moments where she forgets she did make a conscious choice and she seems to conveniently forget that part of the pact. The story goes down a path where Addie’s “current” interaction with Daimon allows him to once again to direct her life. I waxed and waned between liking and not liking her and was left wondering if what she was doing, the things she was agreeing to with Daimon, would damage her.

I’m hoping that the author shows us Daimon’s real motivations with Addie, gives us a clear look at his obsession over Addie. Daimon has “mysteriously” shown up in Addie’s life and offers her monetary compensation to pretend they are dating and falling in love, but to what end? His excuse seems reasonable, but throughout the story we also get a sense of a softer side. At times it appears Daimon has likely long held a torch for Addie and that this manipulations are a cover-up, but then we see the other side and it appears Daimon has some sick and twisted sadistic nature that comes to light.

With fair warning by the author we are left with a cliffhanger. I for one am very much looking forward to the next portion of this series. On another note, the author does a commendable job taking on troubling situations, from domestic physical and mental abuse, to crohns disease. Know your purchase has impact as the author has committed that part of the proceeds of this book will go to 2 organizations. More info at http://www.ccfa.org and http://www.crohnsandcolitis.ca

Never, and I really mean never, have I felt so angry towards a character in a book than I have with Daimon. I have never read a book about a guy who more deserved the name cunt than this one. That’s exactly what he was towards Addie.

They say money doesn’t bring you happiness but it’s easier being miserable in a penthouse suite than the gutter. I don’t believe for one minute that Daimon’s money is bringing him any happiness at all. Ok so he can lavish the world on to Addie, but what the hell’s his game belittling her? Yes they are at total odds socially standing but that doesn’t give him the right to treat Addie the way he’s treating her.

She’s worked so hard to keep her family afloat, giving up her hopes and dreams and living vicariously through her sister that she’s to be admired not ridiculed. I cannot formulate into words how angry I am at Daimon’s treatment of Addie. He’s preyed on her vulnerabilities, her conscious and that’s just wrong.

Money may have bought him a fake girlfriend, but you cannot put a price on love and your heart isn’t ever for sale. Daimon doesn’t have one redeemable characteristic. He really is the most obnoxious, arrogant bastard I’ve ever come across in a book!! The devil incarnate. He’s riled me up no end!!

Oh and Addie….poor, sweet Addie. She has been dealt with the worst hand of cards ever yet she keeps plugging away, keeping her Mother’s memory alive, giving her sister the future that she gave up for herself. Her blackness consumed me as I felt a little bit of her die every time she had another hurdle to jump. My heart broke when she felt trapped by an offer that would solve one problem yet bring more tumbling down on her.

This was a true beauty and the beast story. I only hope the beauty bites back.

Bravo to the author for making me so enraged!! That’s down to the writing skill of the author to make me feel so passionately about a situation and a character in a book.

This could have been so good, but it became unbearable towards the end.

Addie was just b***hy. I felt like she just wanted to play the martyr card. Addie gave up a full scholarship to Yale when her mother was killed by a hit and run driver. She stayed back to take care of her family diner and her sister, Sophia. 10 years later, Addie is still taking care of her father's failing diner and her spoiled sister, Sophia. Damien used to bully Addie in high school as well as other kids in school. Damien is back and he makes Addie a proposition. If Addie pretends to be his girlfriend he will pay for Sophie's first semester at Yale. Addie will do anything for Sophie. WHY??? I do not know. Sophie needs to get a job and stop being the spoiled, ungrateful brat. At first you will not think this about Sophie, but the brat shows her true colors later. Anyway, Damien has no idea Addie suffered anything during the 10 years he was away. Addie does not share anything, but always has tears. At first, I understood why she did not want to share, but then it became annoying.

This book was based on secrets and miscommunication to the MAX. The story just went in circles.

The premise was there, but the execution fell flat.

I don't even know what I just read. I'm trying be nice here but I don't know how else to say it-- this book is very badly written. The other day I googled for girl falls for her bully and when I saw this book in someone's list, I immediately got it.

I have to say that the cover totally deceived me. Our heroine, Addie was your typical smart as fuck girl in high school and Daimon's the bad guy who bullied relentlessly. He made Addie's life hell but he was also very possessive of her.

10 years later, they reunited. For the past years, Addie has had it rough. Her dad's sick, her mom died, and she has to manage the family's crumbling business while simultaneously care for her dad and her sister. Daimon, being Daimon found his way in.

One thing that really sucked about this book is the whole pace-- it's a hot mess. It doesn't flow very smoothly and I found it very hard to engage with book. It didn't help that almost all characters stopped growing up after high school! They're in their 20's but trust me, with the way they're acting. They could pass as a 12 year old. It's annoying.

I'm not sure if I'll ever pick up the next book. I'll have to see about that.

~*~ 3.5 STARS ~*~

I think my words will be some of the hardest that I have to write, because I am not quite sure how much of this story that I liked. Yes that sounds harsh, but after some searching, I’ve had to at least liked it a little bit because I finished it, and if I don’t like a story, I won’t finish it. So point one.

Point two, this plot is one that is hard to digest, not saying that it could never happen; because quite frankly the basis is an everyday occurrence in some lives, but still it’s a tough one at times.
OK. The Devil Behind Me starts with a young girl, Addie, who has had a wonderful opportunity given to her for her education and reaped the benefits by being the best in her class. One problem she has is she’s constantly bullied, for everything; clothes, where she lives, who she is, but that stops,( when she’s in public), when the most popular boy makes it so everyone leaves her alone, only to keep her under his thumb for himself. But I secretly think he has a thing for Addie… Fast forward 10 years and said boy, the devil himself Daimon has reentered her life, only to still be as controlling as ever. Well he finds out that Addie has never left to do the great things with her life that she was meant to do and he makes a proposition by way of contracting her to be his girlfriend in the public eye to get his parents off his back. Addie accepts but with apprehension because well, Daimon is the devil in disguise. Soon the bickering starts (sometimes comically) and soon morphs into something else, Something I don’t think they’re ready to say out loud. Being the difficult person he is, I think Daimon will do anything to make sure he has Addie to himself forever.

BOOM CLIFFHANGER!!! Ok it didn’t really happen that fast, but yes there is one so I’m curious to see how this series plays out…

At the end of the day, like I said, I liked this story but I also had some reservations about it. The golden ticket to The Devil Behind Me, is that some of the proceeds go to the Crohn’s and Colitis foundation which links this story since it plays a big role in how life pans out for Addie.

Wow, that was intense!! I absolutely loved it! Even though Addie can really get on your nerves because she's so bitchy all the time and a tad ungrateful, but I guess one can understand her if it's kept in mind what she went through high school. Though I am guessing he's not exactly the one to be blamed directly for it.
Anyway, onto the next book :D

2020 update: I'm rereading this and I still like the story, but Daimon is a major a-hole, what was I thinking?!! Addie is actually too forgiving with him, he's being a little shit all the time.

What a roller coaster! Damn so much drama. The two main characters pissed me the hell off, they are in their 30s and they act like some high schoolers. God, how bad I wanted to knock some sense into them. This book is very emotional and of course, it made me cry. If this book was based on teenagers instead of adults, of course, my rating would have been different.

Two characters who get under your skin, and each other's

I can't wait to see where Evangelene takes us with her Devil Trilogy. As a reviewer, I need to remind you this book has a cliffhanger ending and is part of a series.

Oh Addie. I felt for Addie as I was reading this story. I wanted to jump in the pages and shake her at times, but most importantly I felt for her and the situations she was put in. No one could ever refute she was a dedicated daughter and sister.

Now Daimon. I thought I could see into his character and then he would do something else which made me wonder. I wanted him to act a certain way, yet he kept surprising me!

I can't reveal more without giving away the ending. I suggest you read The Devil Behind Me and figure out if the devil is Addie's past or the part Daimon plays in Addie's past, present and future.

This is the first I have ready anything by this author. I am not sure where I found this little hidden gem but damn I am glad I did.
This is a trilogy and I am just getting ready to start the last one.
The series has angst, deception, love and hate. Addie is so very strong, my heart ached for all that she had to go through. She is very loving, strong, loyal and sassy. She never backed down from a confrontation and always stoop up for herself. Damion......he is an asshole, but once you keep reading you understand why. I actually like him.
Damion is a very possessive, alpha millionaire.

I struggled with the rating for this book. I have spent the last hour trying to come up with something to say about this story that won’t give spoilers away or repeat the synopsis, yet convey my feelings about reading it and the only word that I keep repeating is FRUSTRATED. Addie got on my last nerve, even though I could see what she was up against, I think it was the attitude she had about how life was treating her that made her impossible for me to like. I literally got half way through the book and started praying that nothing bad would happen to her, so she wouldn’t have more fuel to add to her fire. She is probably one of the bitterest characters I have ever seen.

Addie was the daughter of immigrant parents who was struggling to make it in America. She was very intelligent, top of her class in high school and had full scholarship to Yale to follow her dreams. Addie was bullied by the students in school because she wasn’t at the social ranking as the other kids. Daimon, the son of some high society wealthy parents, stepped in and claimed her as his own personal toy. He demanded everyone else leave her alone, but they would go behind his back and continue to bully her while she would stay silent and never tell him.

After years of dealing with the secret bullying behind Daimon’s back and his horrific humiliation he used on Addie in front of everyone, her big day came. Graduation day and she was going to be giving her valedictorian speech and leave that town and Daimon behind. Freedom was within her grasp and she had demanded a celebration because she felt she deserved it. Daimon of course had other ideas and made sure if she left it would be in disgrace and embarrassment.

Due to a family emergency Addie was forced to come back to her home town which she ended up being face to face with her number one demonic memory, Daimon. He felt she had wanted an aggressive man, more like that is what she needed. She was a fighter and the only way for her to be happy was to have to fight against him. He came up with an offer that will meet her needs but it will crush her soul, she will once again take her rightful place at his side. He basically wanted her to sell herself to him.

The rest of this story was full of twists and turns that I will not spoil for you. The author did keep me interested as to what would come next throughout this story. I will warn you that the ending leaves you in a cliff hanger but more of a suspenseful kind not highly dramatic. I thought I was just being overly judgmental towards Addie through most of this book because I was tired of seeing her act like she had no control over her life when almost every situation she landed in was due to her own choices. It wasn’t till the end when Daimon confronted her and yelled what I had been thinking that I felt validated in my assessment of Addie. Daimon is a jerk, yet I can’t totally write him off as a devil because I keep thinking there is something about him we just don’t know yet. Maybe that will come in the next installment of this series.

I would recommend this story to readers who love that “what in the heck did I just read and what made me like it” kind of books. That was not meant as an insult at all, I personally find I am drawn to those books once in a while to keep me on my toes and thinking as to what I expect and need in a book and the author certainly intrigued me with this one.

BLOOD-EEEEEEEEEE HELL!

This book and me, well we had Insta connection and I couldn't put it down! Now I get that some might find Addie hard to gel with, but oh I absolutely didn't! Top marks to her and her sacrifices! Yeah I get some might find her too pliable and too forgiving of others, but read closer I say and read between the lines because there is far more to this woman than is on the surface. She oozed emotional scars, I empathised with her from the get go and I am bloody 100% behind her!

Now, let's meet Ahole....oh sorry I mean Daimon also known affectionately as The Devil. What a mega asshole he is! So mega I LOVE him! Again, if you only perceive the top layer, you're gonna struggle with him but he's multi layered for sure. He is the epitome of the guy you love to hate, the guy you want to see bashed over the head but also redeemed and yes the guy you want to eventually open your own heart too. Well all I can say is it's gonna take a bit, but I am LOVING him!

Evangelene has penned a very visual story, choc full of characters you are happy to spend time with. Yeah some text is a little OTT sometimes, the overuse of the word 'my' for instance. But I don't care. The unfolding story is good enough indeed to let my niggles fall into insignificance because I want to envelope each word and paragraph and escape into the clutches of the devil and find freedom for Addie and find her some love.

I cannot wait for book 2. And I thank my lucky stars it's avaiable to read now! The suspense is killing me already!

Bravo Evangelene, you grabbed my attention and have me immersed into the story you have created and I am loving every minute of it. ☺

DNF @ 81%.

This story had a good premise but it was poorly executed. The h despises the H bc he bullied her in high school. They meet again 10yrs later and the h is still a pathetic loser trying to make ends meet while the H is very wealthy and successful. The H offers the h money to pretend to be his girlfriend. Unfortunately, the h has a serious case of the martyr complex which is a terrible trend nowadays. She constantly gives the H attitude and acts like a total b!%@& all the time. Then when she is alone she cries about her poor life. This cycle is repeated over and over and over again. I wanted to bash my head against the wall bc NOTHING happens. The H tries to be nice to the h, she becomes a raging shrew, and then cries secretly. I didn't see what the H liked about the h, there was no softness to her. At one point she goes to the H's apartment and has sex with him, then leaves. The H again tries to be nice to her and she storms off. I was like WTF!!! I realized that this pattern was not going to change and I didn't not care about these characters. Everyone was selfish. I would like to tell the author that she went overboard with the tragedies in the h's life. I think the idea was for the readers to feel sorry for her but it was so OTT that it had the opposite effect. I ended up not liking her at all. Plus, all that melodrama ruined the story and characters. I will definitely not be reading this series.

I was excited to review this book because I love Evangelene as a writer! She is always intense, good at detailing and lets us get in the characters mind. She did not disappoint in this one. As I read about a young womans life as she goes through high school labeled as a charity chase to a bright young business woman, I can relate with her decisions, It may not have been where she wanted to be, but here she is and she plans to make the best of it. So what if here dreams have to wait. As long as her dad stays healthy and her sister gets to college, she can wait for her chance.
But when her old nemesis from high school shows up at her dads restaurant, she begins to doubt if her life will ever be the same! Will it ever even be SANE again? He is driving her nuts with his constant badgering. Didn't he get enough of that in school? Then when he comes to her with a business proposition, one that involves her being his fiancee of all things, she cannot believe he is serious! But he lays it out as a win win for them both. He will pay her debts, all she has to do is pretend to think he is the hottest thing around! So ok, maybe he is, but darned if it don't choke her to pretend! The main problem for both of them is can they continue this charade without letting on how they both are affected by the heat that flares between them!
I laughed and cheered, choked up at times. Isn't that what a good book is supposed to make us do?

This book is going to have you so wrapped up that you can’t put it down till you finish it. Addie had it all going for her coming from a family that doesn’t have much she has pushed herself to always do her best. Daimon always the bully picking and tormenting Addie any chance he could. You going to love and hate this story. It’s going to have you in tears and ready to fight all at the same time. I could not get enough of this book and can’t wait till the next book comes out. I have to tell you this is a really good cliffhanger book; you are just left staring at the book wondering what just happen. It was awesome to have a book to that to me. I love books with cliffhanger but this one topped the cake. Biting my nails for the next book to come out!

This book is going as one of the top books I read this year!

The premise was there, it really was. I gave it about 75 pages before I had to let it go. It was just... the editting wasn't that good. Yes, that was it, that was the only issue I had with this book, but even then it was just so bad I couldn't continue forward. I normally don't care that much about spellings and grammars, but this one outdid itself; some of the senteces were redundant, they were repetitive, and they were pointless. I'm not one to talk either, I mean there's a reason I'm not a good reviewer nor a professed writer, but even then it was completely blatant to me. I would give it another go only if the author got someone to edit her story before it gets published.

This is not your typical love story. It's a story of a girl Addie, that has lost her bright future, to help in her families restaurant. When it comes time for her little sister to go away to college, Addie will do anything to make sure that she goes. She doesn't want her sister to waste her life, as she did. That's when Daimon walks back into her life, he tormented her through high school. She had hoped never to have him in her life again. But when he proposes a deal with her, she can't say no. But why does she feel that she just made a deal with the devil....this is a must read.

This is the second book I've read by this author and I just love her books.

Addies school life was a nightmare because of the popular Daimon. To make matters worse all her dreams disappeared one night. What happens when Addies nightmare comes back into her life and offers to solve all her problems?? This is a really brilliant rollercoster ride of a story. I was totally gripped and ended up reading this in one sitting.

I need book two NOW. This has a whopper of a cliffhanger that's seriously left me hanging!!!

OK wow what the living hell did I just read??? It was amazing and I couldn't believe I had reached the end like really I was wanting more I had to check 3 times to get my head to come with terms that the story was over, so guess what? of course this means that I'm waiting for book 2 and I hope it's soon as I have a deep need to read more about Diamon and Addie's love/hate romance thing they have going on.

I struggled to finish this but kept going thinking that the female character (Addie) would get a backbone......it was there but just didn't stiffen enough. Too much of martyrdom and too many tears from this girl.

I can't put my finger on what it is that endeared me to this story , I am strong believer that your spouse has to provide not just physical compatibility but also push you intellectually .The connection is what makes the bond endearing and different from all other relationships in life .

Daimon Evans is a wealthy kid who does not let anyone near his heart for it was broken by the people who were supposed to love him the most , he hasn't been on the receiving end of love from anyone , when he finds out that his classmate (Addie Sakis)has a crush on him , he tries to reciprocate in the way he only knows ,Yes !! , he bullies her .She is ready to leave this school and all her bullies behind but tragedy strikes and she has to drop out to support her family .

10 years later Daimon finds Addie and proposes fake relationship in return for money which Addie needs , this plot is so commonly used , that it does not even count as a plot anymore but , and there is a BUT the way the author has handled the relationship between these two is just awesome , their situations emotional boundaries are tested .The treatment of the story is what makes novel stand out

I honestly don’t know how to start With this one so here goes...

The heroine “addie”: likes to play the victim at all times, and she can’t stand up for herself, she reallllly bugs me, she cries at everything.

The hero “damion”: is a pure asshole who doesn’t give any reasons in life and likes to get off on making our heroine sad and in tears all the time, which really bugs me too

The books is pure trash, there’s no point in it what so ever, the storyline is flat as fuck, and the plot is the most neutral one I’ve ever read, what happened to the charters history?? We don’t know, why the bullying??? We don’t know, Why her???? We ALSO don’t know

So many missing parts, it’s like half a chunk is gone from the book.

So yeah it sucks and it wastes time, I will however read the second book because I I need to know what happened!!!
