Meaning To Be

Rate this book
Everything's meant to be, right?

Sailor Donovan thinks everyone is master of their own destiny, until he decides to tinker with Ellie Harvey's. Overhearing a conversation in the garden between Ellie and her fiance, Ryan, which ends with Ellie in tears, Sailor decides to step in and rescue her from the marriage he is sure is going to be a disaster. Using the information he has gleaned from the conversation, he pretends to be psychic and 'reads' Ellie's palm based on this new found knowledge, telling her that Ryan is not the man for her and she should not be marrying him.

Ellie's mother has always told her that if things are meant to be, then they'll find a way, and so when Ellie meets Jamie Farrell by chance, she is convinced that the Universe is trying to tell her something, and that he is her future. The only hitch is, Jamie's wife has just left him for another man, and he is living in hope that she will come back to him and is definitely not looking to fall in love with anyone else.

Can fate be engineered? Or is there someone high up above playing a game of chess with us?

Meaning To Be is a sparkling romance as dazzling as a summer's day on the beach.

As long as she can remember Sarah has always loved writing stories and wanted to be an author. For several years she wrote romantic fiction for women's magazines in the UK. She now writes YA novels on all subjects be it supernatural romance or stories set firmly in the real world.

Charlie is the first title in the Aggie Greenwood stories about a teenage ghost who is a loveable rogue, whom any woman, young or old would find impossible to resist. Set in a huge haunted house, paying homage to black and white films such as The Cat and the Canary and The Ghost Breakers' (yes Breakers not Busters! Bob Hope - Google it).

The Ghosts Around Me and Gone Too Soon are novellas also featuring teenage psychic Aggie Greenwood, also available as eBooks.

And for the future - time travel - Sarah has just completed her latest young adult book, featuring another dashing, slightly flawed teenage hero, and a girl who hates him - to begin with, of course! Couple that with an old, horror movie film star with a notorious past, and the ability to go back in time to right wrongs, and it's going to be a thrilling ride!

I loved this book. It took all the lives of the characters , padded them out ,and wove them together seamlessly to create one of the best reads I've had I a while. The scenes were so well described that you could visualise them effortlessly. This was a really enjoyable read, and I look forward to reading more from this author. Highly recommend this.
