I liked ! Has plus size representation and the story is cool. It’s not dark, to me was just a little palate cleanser in between books. It’s a stalker billionaire romance, later in life I’ll read the second book. They are all interconnected standalone.

Stalker by A.M. McCoy has been one of the best books I’ve read so far.
If you like smutty books this one will definitely be right up your alley. (Please make sure you check the trigger warnings though!)
Not only does it have ALL the ✨spice✨, the FMM and MMC have a special connection. The story line flows well, and while the MMC may give cold shoulder vibes at the start, you better buckle up and be ready to have to splash some cold water on your face to stop you from panting like a dog.
Here are 2 of my favorite lines out of the book for a little sneak peak of what you will be getting yourself into:
1.) “I’ll always find you, Puppet. There isn’t a place on this Earth that could hide from me.“ - Lincoln

Her relationship with her liv-in boyfriend Tyson wasn’t going well, and he thought three months apart was great for their relationship. The three-hundred-acre property was also a good place to hide from her life.
The Hero: Lincoln Bryce (a.k.a. Dane) - he scheduled a trip to one of his companies away from his property when Mrs. Strait left because he didn’t like goodbye’s. This was the first time he had left his home in nearly a year. Lincoln is a tech genius and a great hacker. He owned an extraordinarily successful tech company. He had a very obsessive personality and was intrigued by Peyton when he first saw her picture in with her application. He found out everything about her even though he thought it might be dangerous for her to be around him because he saw himself as a monster. Though when he found out about her kink about being chased in the woods, he immediately offered her the job.
The Story: Peyton has dark, sensual dreams of a masked man in the woods who hunted her through the darkness. This happened almost every time she fell asleep, and she liked the dreams. She never walked out into the light meadow and safety, she always walked into the darkness to her monster, her biggest fear and also her biggest admirer. She evaded her monster at first before he caught up to her and they ended up on the ground, where he ravished her while she told him to stop, even knowing that she wanted the opposite.
Peyton kind of bothered me at first, the way she went out to the jacuzzi when she knew Mr. Bryce was probably home and pleasured herself thinking that he wouldn’t see her. She was too stupid and naïve. Needless to say, that was where she found out that he wasn’t an old man. She was surprised to find out that he was a tall, handsome, muscular thirty-something year old man. He caught her naked, in his hot tub getting off using the jets. Though I must say, I loved the way he handled the situation. It wasn’t at all what I had expected.
The book was good, though it was definitely a lot more steam than story. You definitely have to be in the mood for kinky smut when you read this one or you will not enjoy it. The most significant plot device was the revelation that Mr. Bryce was actually Dane, and he was manipulating Peyton by portraying both characters. He was meticulously ensuring that she desired both personas so that when he eventually disclosed his true identity, she wouldn't despise him.
Later, we discover that he is indeed a psychopath, and he doesn't limit the use of his dual personas to just her; he employs them in his double life as well. I appreciated the dual personalities. Lincoln Bryce was brooding and grumpy, yet a respectable and upright individual, while Dane was the wild, unrestrained spirit who acted on his whims without regard for the consequences. As the story progresses, we learn more about him and develop empathy for him despite his severe nature.
This audiobook was narrated from multiple perspectives, with dual narration by John Hartley and Laura Horowitz. Laura has a pleasant and expressive voice, making it seem as though she isn't reading. John Hartley, with his deep, gravelly voice, was enjoyable to listen to, even though he isn't one of my top male narrators. His voice exudes danger and allure, making him perfect for the roles of Lincoln Bryce and Dane.

Never in my life have I wanted to be stalked and chased through a forest more.
There’s hella red flags and trigger in this book, but baby I’m color blind. I am absolutely obsessed with this.
Peyton I’m running from her current life by taking up a temporary maid job for a billionaire living in the middle of nowhere. While she takes the time to discover some kinks that appeal to her, our billionaire must find a way to love and accept himself.
This stalker story really follows learning and accepting yourself for who you are, while also really playing off that saying “to be known is to be loved”.

Not gonna lie, 2.75 rounded up to 3 stars is pretty generous for 300+ pages of nonsensical smut. Our story opens with Peyton was being hired as the housekeeper for Mr.Lincoln Bryce, a billionaire bachelor who just so happens to already be stalking her 🤌🏼 Their first official meeting is when she’s using his hot-tub jets to “ring her bell” if you catch my drift 😂 the main plot line is about Peyton exploring her sexuality. She has a primal play kink, and with the help of Dane (her internet stalker) she gets to explore it. Except wait, Dane is actually Lincoln in a ghost face mask 🙃 and none of his reasons for hiding his identity make sense 😬
Now I will say the book is written well for what has to be 50% pure sexy scenes. Andddd I just wanted more from it. 😔 Lincoln/Dane has daddy issues but we rarely get to see what caused them. We get allusions with no real depth 😐 meanwhile at around 70ish percent of the way through we learn Peyton is actually fleeing her abusive ex-boyfriend, but there were no hints prior to that point that anything could be amiss other than he’s boring, a cheater and has a small *ahem* member. It came out of nowhere and made me wish some Easter eggs had been left for us to find along the way. 🐣
Mostly this book is really spicy scenes 🌶️🌶️🌶️ top marks for creativity really 😂 buuut it gave the feeling of being a dark romance without actually becoming one. And outside of Lincoln making pancakes for Peyton he’s a total jerk 😐 the rationale? To push Peyton into Dane’s arms 😅🙃 of course Peyton finds out about “the big betrayal” and is devastated. So she flees to Florida heartbroken even though neither Dane nor Lincoln provided her with an emotional connection outside of physical needs being met 👀
What I liked:
-Dane calls her puppet and it’s adorable ♥️
-their first scene together🥵🥵
-when Lincoln/Dane gouges out the eyeballs of Peyton’s abusive POS ex
-Tamen, Lincoln’s brother, being a psycho in the scene with Tyson, Peyton’s ex
-that Peyton is a hustler. She is a first generation college graduate who is hardworking.
-the fact that Lincoln watches Peyton on so many devices/screens. We live for a psycho hero 👏🏼👏🏼
-thicker than a snicker heroine and a hero who loves her curves 🤌🏼
-Tamen just antagonizing Lincoln
-Peyton’s closeness with her sister. Although it seemed like her sister was the one always making the effort with her
-Dane watching Peyton through her phone but never wanting to see her undress until she wants to show him ♥️
-light breeding kink
What I didn’t like:
-a lack of emotional connection/foundation between the hero and heroine
-the whole alter ego Dane thing. The lie was stupid because it served no purpose.
-Lincoln gives Peyton the control to watch him as his grovel but within a couple days Peyton is back in his arms
-it’s never explained how Lincoln found Peyton with her fake identity/zero devices
-getting blindsided by Peyton’s sexual assault by her ex-BF with no really indicator of it prior. It just didn’t flow right.

A.M. McCoy had done it again! She is such an amazing writer! Her books just draw you in and you cant put it down! Cant wait to continue these books!

I wish I could rate this more than 5 stars. This was such a good book it was hard to put down. I can’t wait for books 2 and 3 bc I know they are going to be just as good. Seriously I think everyone is going to love this book. It will have you laughing. Falling in love. And crying in all the best ways. A.M. McCoy has a way with words that just draws you in and makes you want more. 🥰😍 absolute perfection

Oh. My. God.
If you like primal play and stalking. This book is for you! Truly. That is not my cup tea but this author truly outdid herself.
Spicy level is INSANE
Stalker becomes Stalkee
Stalker is the Monster in the shadows and truly is a complete Ghost. I loved the dream aspect of everything as well. How the dream world blended into the real world without it seeming to *magical*. Very much touch her and die. Which is proved MULTIPLE times in this book. So, yea lots of murdering and blood.
Many public scenes obviously exhibitionism and voyeurism cause you know stalking.
The one thing I didn't like too much was that you didn't get to learn to much about Dane/Lincoln. Just little tid bits here and there which we sweet but there was also something that happened with his dad we never get a ton of clarity on.
Also obviously MISCOMMUNICATION AND LYING. We know how much I love that *rolls eyes*. Lincoln and Dane are the same person but Peyton doesn't know that for the majority of the book (but we do as well as his bother) and when she finds out...
We learn a lot about Peyton/P. She has a sister Olivia who is a hacker and had a lot of pop ups in this book (because she's the next book I'm assuming). She was a bit annoying lol She is the younger sister. She tries to be the perfect girl for her parents and do things she does not want to do. I would say this book contained cheating... but also not?? Tyson (dick face buttwad) and her where on a break like Rachel and Ross were on a break. Ya know what I mean?? But also this man was emotionally and psychologically abuse. We also come to find out he sexually assaulted her which the scene IS written in the book. He got he just desserts by Dane though and they way he (Dane) explained why he did what he did to him *chefs kiss*.
The epilogue was FUNNY AS HELL lmao. I would have love to have to seen the reappearance of the necklace (actual necklace), personally but... whatcha gonna do.
So much happened in this book. Oh! Lincolns brother. I'm sure he will get his own book as well. As well as Maddox. I'm thinking Maddox and Olivia are next.

So this is what it's like to read an unhinged stalker books. The ones I have read did no justice to the man called Dane. With Allys books, she just dices right in, and this book followed her same formula of ready or not because you're about to have a great time. Peyton starts at an estate for an old man named Mr Bryce because his housekeeper is going on a vacation for 3 months. This is perfect for Peyton because she wants a literal break from her boyfriend, and this job will give her the funds and outlet to leave permanently. Old man Mr Bryce is not old at all but a very hot Billionaire that catches her having fUn with herself in a hottub...what you soon find out that Peyton has a certain kink and Dane is there to make her dreams come true. Dane, aka her boss, Mr Bryce, is obessed and stalks her constantly. He really has 2 persona's not like he's crazy like when he's dark, he's Dane, and when he's a hacker genius, he's Lincoln. He has a dark past as well. The primal scenes in this book were so good....At the beginning of the book, I was a little discombobulated, but once I got my footing and then like 50% in, it really got so good for me. You are introduced to his brothers as well, so this series is off to a great start.
So this is what it's like to read an unhinged stalker books. The ones I have read did no justice to the man called Dane. With Allys books, she just dices right in, and this book followed her same formula of ready or not because you're about to have a great time. Peyton starts at an estate for an old man named Mr Bryce because his housekeeper is going on a vacation for 3 months. This is perfect for Peyton because she wants a literal break from her boyfriend, and this job will give her the funds and outlet to leave permanently. Old man Mr Bryce is not old at all but a very hot Billionaire that catches her having fUn with herself in a hottub...what you soon find out that Peyton has a certain kink and Dane is there to make her dreams come true. Dane, aka her boss, Mr Bryce, is obessed and stalks her constantly. He really has 2 persona's not like he's crazy like when he's dark, he's Dane, and when he's a hacker genius, he's Lincoln. He has a dark past as well. The primal scenes in this book were so good....At the beginning of the book, I was a little discombobulated, but once I got my footing and then like 50% in, it really got so good for me. You are introduced to his brothers as well, so this series is off to a great start.

A.M. McCoy has done it again! This is such an amazing story! I absolutely loved this dark romance and I cannot wait for the sequel to happen!! Very descriptive with everything 😉 and kept me wanting more and more!

Peyton’s story is perfect and I love the journey of watching her self confidence grow but also her body confidence. It’s so rare to see a FMC who’s plus size and I loved this aspect.

No. We are feral for it. He is obsessed with his girl and will stop at nothing until she is his in every way.
I’m a sucker for dual POV so I loved that we got to peek inside both MC’s heads and really get to know them both.
The spice was SPICING.
A.M.McCoy really knows how to put us in the room with the characters and there is absolutely no fade to black happening here so buckle up🤣

I devoured this book. I mean I could not put it down. I loved every single page and chapter. Dane has my total heart…obsessed. This story was so good. It had a good plot and good strong characters. I can’t wait to dive back into the Line Walkers when the next book comes out. I have a feeling I am going to love Maddox too. The main characters were such a treat to read about and fall in love with. The side characters were even great. The whole book had some spooky vibes at times that were a lot of fun. The 🌶️ was so hot, which you can always expect reading anything by Amy. I laughed, swooned, and cried with the characters and just enjoyed this experience…that is what this book was an experience that I just want to re-live over and over. Peyton was a wonderful FMC, I normally do not like the FMC’s as much as I did her.

This book was a great pallet cleanser- not exactly sure what that says about me, but Dane was the perfect balance of creepy psycho and adorable stalker. Peyton, our FMC, is trying to find herself after enduring a rather bland (and abusive we find out later on) relationship. She adapts to life as a stalkee (is that a word?) quite quickly, and gives into her stalker demands. While seeking out the thrill and adventure her stalker gives her, she finds out more about herself and her needs. Dane/Lincoln/sexy stalker gives Peyton whiplash with all the back and forth, but has a very devised plan on how to keep her. I wish we got to see more into his backstory, and hopefully we can take a deeper dive in upcoming books! I hope book 3 is about Tamen because I already love him!! ❤️

Never has having a “Stalker” felt so right!!! AM McCoy once again does not disappoint!!! The grumpy boss by day and Stalker by night turn Peyton’s fantasy into a twisted and spicy reality. And the this man fights for her… made me fall for him even harder.

Okay i really liked it. But in my opinion, it could’ve been a novella. I would’ve enjoyed it more if it was like 200-page long. Some dialogues were also kinda.. cringe (?) i guess i was just not that into some things they said haha

I love this book. This book gives possessive touch her and you 💀. Peyton and Lincoln are the perfect match. This book was a great read for this time of year with some spooky vibes. This is one of those books i will read over and over again.

4.5⭐️ Lincoln/Dane is everything a girl wants in a faithful stalker! He’s unhinged, psychotic, loyal, hot and has a filthy mouth. Dane is surprised when he feels so deeply for Peyton, his little monster, he watches her and has conformed himself to be what and who she needs. Dane helps build Peyton’s self esteem as well as helps her discover her fantasies she tries to hide! ☺️
