Far-Right France: Le Pen, Bardella and the Future of Europe

April 25, 2026El fenómeno Le Pen (y, por tanto, el del Frente/Agrupación Nacional) es, quizá, uno de los temas que más interés me genera y sobre los que más tiempo llevo queriendo leer en profundidad. En esta obra, el autor trata con bastante objetividad aspectos como la historia y evolución del partido (incidiendo en cómo era bajo el liderazgo de Le Pen padre y en el proceso de desdiabolización que ha llevado a cabo Le Pen hija), sus posiciones ideológicas o sus relaciones con Rusia y con el resto de partidos de extrema derecha.
Todo ello mientras se explican otros fenómenos, como las manifestaciones de los chalecos amarillos, el cambio de mentalidad del votante francés, cómo la extrema derecha ha conseguido penetrar en territorios con distintas características o el proceso judicial al que Marine Le Pen ha tenido que hacer frente.
En definitiva, un buen libro para quienes disfrutan de la política francesa y tienen interés en conocer en qué coordenadas se ha movido esta durante los últimos años. (9/10).
