Cain and Abel were the first two sons of Adam and Eve. Cain was a farmer who grew crops, and Abel was a shepherd who took care of sheep. One day, they both gave gifts to God—Abel gave his best lamb, and Cain gave some of his crops. God was pleased with Abel’s gift but not with Cain’s. This made Cain very angry. Instead of choosing kindness, he let his jealousy take over and hurt Abel. Because of this, Cain had to leave his home and wander the land. This story teaches us about making good choices, handling our feelings, and treating others with kindness.
