The Shebeen (an Irish Pub run during Prohibition) is a fast paced story about three friends from Ireland, who immigrated to Boston and then California. Politics, business, money, power, friendship, family...where are their priorities? Author Mike Atwood mixes a splash of atmospheric history, with a jigger of entertaining characters, shakes it up then tops it off with suspense. A fine cocktail served up with a charming smile and an Irish brogue. So pull yourself up to the bar and let Mick pour you a stout. He has some good stories to share. Enjoy.
