The English Brothers #2

Falling for Fitz

Rate this book
Falling for Fitz is the second of six books about the Philadelphia-based, wildly-handsome English brothers who are absolutely not on the look-out for love.

(Except Barrett, who fell in love when he was eight-years-old. And Fitz, who met the girl of his dreams at nineteen. And maybe even Weston, who just doesn't know it yet.)

FIRST LOVE...

Fitz English and Daisy Edwards fell in love during one magical summer when they were teenagers. When something tragic happens at the end of the summer, Daisy tells Fitz she never wants to see him again. Despite his feelings for her, he respects her wishes and for almost a decade Fitz and Daisy go their separate ways.

...SECOND CHANCES.

Nine years later, when Daisy moves home to Philadelphia, they meet again, and both are shocked to discover that the feelings they had that summer are just as deep and real today. There's a little snag, however. It seems that Daisy is engaged to someone else, and she's come home to get married.

Can Fitz gets Daisy to fall for him all over again before it's too late? Only if Daisy can learn to trust the man who shattered her heart once upon a time.

A feel-good romance for lovers of second chances...

Their relationship had been built on summer magic. They'd enjoyed each other in that breathless, racing, exhilaration of a fast roller-coaster on a hot summer night. Watching each other with smoldering looks, holding hands, kissing, touching, learning about each other's bodies, only stopping to share their hopes and dreams...
All of the FEELS with this one...

FITZ
"...From where you're sitting I probably look like the most impulsive person on the face of the earth. But, I'm not. It's not my nature. It's you, Daisy. You're this place in my life where I can be spontaneous and a little wild and... I don't know. Free. Yeah, You make me feel free."
Fitz is the pragmatic second oldest English Brother, known for his quiet and reserved demeanor.
He doesn't break the rules,
He isn't wild or crazy,
He doesn't make rash decisions,
He never gets into trouble...

Except for one summer in his youth while he was under the influence of Daisy Edwards...

DAZE
If she intended to keep her sanity, being with Fitz physically simply wasn't an option. Though she'd never been Miss Right for Fitz English, if the heat in his eyes told her anything, it assured her that Miss Right Now was up for grabs. But, despite her loneliness, Daisy wasn't interested in being anyone's Miss Right Now. Not even Fitz Enligh's.
Daisy is the cousin of Emily Edwards. Those who read Breaking Up with Barrett might recall that one summer - nine years ago - Daisy & Emily spent an evening getting drunk with the English Bothers. Well, most of the English Brothers, Barrett had to break up the party before they woke the entire affluent neighborhood...

Turns out, there were even more shenanigans going on that summer...
Daisy and Fitz had a whirlwind secret romance going on.

Their young love was all encompassing for one perfect summer.
Unfortunately, their split was catastrophic...

...And one day - one day - they'd find each other again when the time was right. Deep in Daisy's heart she was sure: this is only the beginning of Fitz and Daisy.
Fast forward nine years and Daisy is back in Philadelphia...
She's a stunning, mature adult, and her mere proximity throws Fitz into a tailspin... Her proximity AND the fact that she brought her fiance with her!

Within a few minutes of conversation, it all becomes clear: Fritz will do anything it takes to get this woman back.

We learn that these two people have never really gotten over each other - their memories of that summer (and everything which happened after) are filled with heartache and "what if"s and unspoken words...

Every person who has entered their lives since has been judged against that perfect love...

*sigh*
Sounds awfully romantic, doesn't it?
Well, it is!

I've already started the next book, Anyone but Alex - Each of the English Brothers will have their own book by the end of the series... I'm starting to wonder if all of them lost their heart to a childhood crush they've never gotten over... As sweet as that is, I really hope that Katy Regnery has some fresh new love in store for one or two of the remaining brothers...

Before I wrote this book, Lars Lindstrom and Asher Lee were tied as my favorite heroes. But I have to add Fitz English to that short list. I love who Fitz is. I love his heart. I love how much he loves Daisy.

I hope you love him too!

Žao mi je, Barrett. Zaista.

"Falling For Fitz" is book #2 in this sweet and sexy series. I am loving this series about the English brothers. They are rich, handsome, full of fire; AND they know how to treat a lady!
The Blueberry Lane series reminds me of a Harlequin romance somewhat; but in my opinion the writing is a few steps up from that. Not to say anything bad about Harlequin, because I have read some great stories from those books....I just find that Katy Regnery's writing is more sophisticated...(only my opinion)

I need to keep this short for the moment but all in all I am really glad that I gave this series a chance. It has the perfect balance of a sweet romance with some very sizzling bedroom scenes..These books have been exactly what I have needed to get me back into the romance world. Oh, and they are very low on the angst which sometimes is just what I'm looking for!

I'm sorry Barrett. I really, really am. But Fitz just jumped light years ahead of you for me. As amazing as Barrett was in Breaking Up with Barrett, Fitz...well, he's even better. And the story of Fitz and Daisy? Even sweeter and definitely more emotional. The writing? It's like Katy Regnery can just pop out these wonderful stories in her sleep-it comes across as effortless and the story just flows so well.

And yes, I spent another night staying up way, way, way too late reading this.

You have the excellent cast of characters returning, and we're getting more glimpses of the secondary characters' personalities and backgrounds, plus starting to see the setting up of the other brothers' upcoming stories (which oh my gosh please don't make us wait too long!). So now you've got characters with even more depth that you can't wait to hear more about plus all the excitement and roller coaster feelings from Fitz and Daisy's story. The entire world of the English brothers is taking shape very nicely and I'm now even more on the edge of my seat waiting for the next story!

I love the second chance at romance type of story, which you'll get here in Falling for Fitz. And Fitz and Daisy are so sweet together-both times around. There's so much more to their story that makes everything more meaningful and intense, and you'll find the pages flying by...that's what happened to me as I totally devoured this book. And Fitz...he's going to touch your heart.

5 Fantastic stars for Falling for Fitz...and please do be aware that this is definitely 18+ :-)

Thank you again to Katy Regnery for providing a copy to review!

This second book in the English Brothers series treats us to the story of Fitz and Daisy. They had a summer romance that didn't end well, and have spent the last 9 years incommunicado at Daisy's insistence, a decision made in haste but one that Fitz has respected. Now she's moved back to Haverford and the feelings they have long buried come back to the surface. Can Daisy trust her heart to Fitz a second time?

This book was a tender, sweet love story that I enjoyed very much. I'm a big fan of the reunited lovers trope in general and this book is definitely following that formula, but in its own unique style. The start of the story takes one back to the joy of first love and the heartache that usually follows. I liked this flashback as it set the stage for the present time, and the meeting up again of two souls that were so in love. Fitz is well characterized as a handsome and caring man, willing to do anything for Daisy if she'll give him the chance to prove himself to her again. Daisy is fun and warmhearted, full of enthusiasm for her new business venture that has brought her back to this place. The feelings between them run deep, even though they've been hidden for so long. The sexual chemistry that existed as young adults still exists now and is evident from the first moment they lay eyes on each other again. There is a slow burn that heats up as the story progresses - it was refreshing that they didn't just jump into bed together again right away, but worked towards it in a more realistic manner. Fitz's courting of Daisy was sweet and genuine.

The secondary characters are important to the development of the plot, revealing more of the other English brothers that will have their own future stories. There is a real sense of the setting of the story as well, a testament to the writing of Katy Regnery as she skillfully sets the stage for the reader. You can imagine the scenes quite easily. Moments of humor abound, making this a fun and lighthearted read. I can't wait to read more in this series! 5 stars!

Fitz and Daisy had a summer romance years ago that went horribly awry and now they get a second chance.

The Good, the (not so) Bad and Everything in Between
-Kindle Unlimited

-Quick read that’s satisfying: it’s under 200 pages, so it flies by, but it’s paced well, and tells the story it needs to tell without excessive exposition or description.

-Fantastic first time: we should all have such a fantastic, romantic deflowering.

-Lovely chemistry: Daisy and Fitz’s feelings are so clear to the reader, but not so clear to each other.

-Second chance romance trope: I love the idea of two people who perhaps weren’t ready for a forever love finally coming together when they’ve both matured is one of my favorite things. The thought that they’ve carried a torch for each other for so long was angsty and wonderful.

-Standalone HEA: You can easily read this without reading the first book, but I’ll say this: even though I really liked this book, I loved Barrett and Emily more, so I would encourage everyone to read that first.

-That ending: after everything that happened, it was a great way to tie both the first and second book together in a subtle way.

-Miscommunication, with a twist: I usually have a hard time with a misunderstanding that could be cleared up with one simple, honest conversation. In this instance, while frustrating, it was much easier to understand considering how young they both were when things ended badly. When they finally do have that honest conversation, it was emotional and believable.

Furthermore, I enjoyed that Daisy was genuinely concerned about having too much power in their relationship. It’s a realistic objection, because every woman may love the idea of a man doing anything you ask, you don’t want someone who is a pushover either.

-When the going gets tough, the tough...run away: along with miscommunication, the runaway move is...let’s just say not my fave. Thankfully it was shortlived.

The Bottom Line
A very good entry in a very good series. I am really liking those English boys (though I think Stratton’s going to be my fave, if he ends up with the person I want him to end up with). :)

What an absolutely delightful second chance romance! And again, Katy Regnery and her lovely writing. Her style reminds me of a classic and refined actress, almost like the 1950s and Audrey Hepburn but still with the modern take. I just absolutely love it.

Fitz and Daisy are obviously meant to be together. ("Poof!") You get that right from the beginning. But sadly life throws obstacles in their way and there is a communication break down. I loved how both characters remained true to themselves but grew individually and learned to open up. Fitz might not verbally declare his love for Daisy but his actions are so romantic, are definitely that of a man in love. Their dynamic together is just so special and cleverly written. And again, for a 'beach read', it had a lot of heart and emotions and so much depth.

I really enjoyed seeing a slight continuation to Barrett and Emily story. And getting a glimpse into the other brothers.

On to Alex!! Anyone but Alex

Dear Katy,
I hereby dub you my Queen of Romance. I don't have anything bad to say about your books, ever. Do you realize that since you first approached me to review your debut novel By Proxy in August 2013 that you have published TEN books? TEN, that's a lot of books in one year and even more impressive that I have fallen in love with each of them. They just keep getting better and better and, although I know you are working tirelessly to put out even more, you can't write them fast enough for me.
I am falling in love with the English brothers, one story at a time. I still call dibs on Barrett but boy did Fitz give him a run for his money. This is a second chance love story done right!!
I hate that Fitz and Daisy had to go through what they did when they were young but understand that maybe it was necessary to get them to the place they needed to be in order to get their HEA.
Their story was sweet and heartbreaking all at the same time. It was definitely a more emotional read than Barrett and Emily's story, but in a good and honest way.
I love that Barrett and Emily's story continued into this book and that we are being introduced to each English brother slowly and can't wait to see where they all end up when the series is complete.
Thanks for writing all of this awesome,
Jaime

*ARC* Oh wow oh wow I'm in LOVE with Fitz! Falling for Fitz is such a sweet, endearing romance... another brilliant one by our one and only Katy... Queen of Romance ;-)
I loved everything about this book. Fitz and Daisy are such amazing main characters, so easy to love and so easy to connect to. Of course it's a classic case of misunderstanding and postponing, but it's so beautifully written. Katy Regnery makes me fall in love with each and every one of her heroes. I think Fitz is my favourite one so far. But I tend to say that after every Katy novel I finish...
Falling for Fitz is the second book in the what's proving to be my favourite romance series yet: The English Brothers. The first book, Breaking Up With Barrett, follows the story of Fitz's brother, Barrett, and the love of his life Emily. Although you'll love Fitz and Daisy just as much without having read Breaking Up With Barrett, I do strongly suggest you read them in order. You'll miss out on some insiders, and there are some big spoilers if you were planning on reading it in a different order.
Falling for Fitz is a wonderfully romantic read you just won't be able to put down.

In Katy Regnery’s series, The English Brothers, she has now brought us the sweet and romantic story of Daisy and Fitz and once again, in Falling for Fitz, I am in love.

Daisy Edwards has been in love with Fitz English since she was 17. But as the amazing summer days they spent together reached their end, fate stepped in changing the path on which she hoped they were travelling and she ultimately moves out to California to live with her mother. Now nine years later, Daisy decides to return to Philadelphia hoping that when she sees Fitz again, her heart will finally be able to overcome the love she always felt for him. But as soon as their eyes meet, she is instantly aware that despite what her mind was saying, her heart (and body) was an entirely different thing. Will Daisy be able to unravel the past putting it to rest leaving only the vision of a future together with the one man who has forever possessed her heart?

Fitz English has been in love with Daisy Edwards forever. But when he last saw her nine years ago, she told him never to bother her again. Though it was virtually an impossible task, because of the depth of love he felt for her, Fitz made the difficult decision to abide by her wishes. But now that she has returned, the flutter Daisy had always made his heart (and other parts) feel returns with a vengeance. Unfortunately, she has returned home with a fiancé. Realizing he loves her even more now than he ever thought possible, Fitz is determined to delve into Daisy’s heart while opening up his own to prove to her once and for all that despite the distance and the years that have passed, their hearts have always remained entwined and they’ve have always belonged to each other.

The electrifying connection between Fitz and Daisy can be felt instantly as soon as their eyes meet, and the commitment he continues to emanate for her even as she tries to keep her heart close and protected positively makes me swoon. Fitz’s amazingly strong and undying love for Daisy never falters as he continues in his affirmation to her of the depth of love which he has always felt. As I read the final words which left a smile on my face, I heaved a long sigh of contentment. Falling for Fitz has once again brought me into the world of the English brothers, a new place I can now call home.

Once again another outstanding novel written by Ms. Regnery.

This book begins with a look into the past of Daisy Edwards and Fitz English. What seems like a regular summer romance is anything but – and boy oh boy does set the stage for an outstanding second book in the English Brother’s series. Regnery follows the same ‘outline’ as she did in “Barrett” – boy and girl meet as youngsters, boy and girl swoon over one another, both go away to become adults, then boy and girl find themselves together once again with past feelings hitting them square in the chest.

When controlled (adorable), even-keeled (handsome), rule-following (romantic), Fitz finds himself once again eye to eye with the fun-loving, never-hold-back Daisy, he’s immediately taken back to the last time she was in his arms. Daisy, now a successful business owner, can’t help but feel drawn to the man who stole her heart when she was just a teenager, but also broke it in half. The two begin a sexy little tango that tears through the first half of the book – then we really get to see their relationship ignite!!

Katy Regnery’s lightning fast release dates are perfect for this series. Even though I’ve only read the first two, I can tell I’ll want minimal time in between reads (keep writing Katy!! Hurry!!) While this group of books may not necessarily need to read in order – they really should be. It helps to meet Barrett before Fitz for a couple of reasons…“Breaking up with Barrett” gives great background and insight into all of the English brothers AND (much to my delight) we get to read more about Emily and Barrett while meeting Daisy and Fitz {standing ovation for Katy}!!!

I love “Falling for Fitz” for many of the same reasons I loved “Breaking up with Barrett” – it’s fast, fun, sweet, romantic and just the right amount of steamy love makin’ for an excellent summer read. Moreover – I did indeed fall for Fitz and was blown away by Barrett. Both men are flawed in their own sweet way and have a way of romance that will knock your knickers off! I can’t wait to see what the next English Brother, Alex, is going to do to me!!! {Crosses fingers that it’s extra amazing}

Falling for Fitz is a really cute story about first love and second chances.

This book starts up with 9 yrs in the past of the lives of Fitz and Daisy. The fun filled, love in the summer that they had. Fitz is a very conserved follow all rules kind of guy, but when it comes to Daisy he breaks the rules to make her happy and feeling free at the same time. Daisy was only seventeen then and Fitz was 20. After they spent their last wonderful night together, things got complicated that changed both their lives.

Forward to their present lives, neither one had forgotten about the other. The first time they see each other again at a family party, both their feelings started flooding back. It was awkward at first, but then they went right back to the banter that they used to have. It made both of them miss and want each other, like they used to when they were young.

 photo FallingforFitz-Teaser.jpg

At times Daisy got on my nerves, because she was just too stuck on the past. She keeps telling Fitz to start fresh, but she’s the one that wasn’t able to let it go. I was so happy when they finally figure each other out and what they really wanted. I love that Fitz is reserved and a very into pleasing his woman, whatever it is she may want, but by far my heart belongs to Barrett. I can’t wait to meet the next brother…Alex.. Hmmm.

"Except that now, as opposed to then, Daisy saw something more in his eyes and it made her stare back at him with wonder. What Daisy saw - what she was sure she was looking at on his beautiful face - was love."

I guess I am becoming a little biased but in my honest opinion, Katy should be crowned the Queen of Romance! I laughed over Daisy casting The English Brothers movie, I cried over their hurts, and oh boy did I swoon over Mr. English.

As much as I adored Barrett and Emily, I found myself relating to the quietly passionate Fitz a whole lot more. He's the kind of man who prefers to demonstrate his feelings with his actions rather than putting them into words. Daisy needs to hear those words and it puts them in a bind I'm sure a lot of women would have had some personal experience with.

I loved the way they loved each other wholeheartedly, Daisy's spunk, Fitz's intensity and his rock solid dependability. Their story is even hotter than Barrett's (I know, seriously?), raw, and emotional. They have some serious issues to work through but amazingly, there's very little angst involved. If you're sick of neurotic leads and stupid misunderstandings in romance novels, this is going to be a refreshing change for you.

We also get to know Alex and Stratton a little better and stay in touch with Barrett and Emily. If you've read their book, you're probably waiting for a certain event to happen... I don't want to give too much away but let me just say that you won't be disappointed!

Aww...loved this couple and Fitz was to die for. Highly recommend anything by Katy Regnery.

This is the story of Fitz English and Daisy Edwards (Emily's cousin.)

When Daisy was seventeen and Fitz was around twenty to twenty-one, Daisy had come for the summer to stay with her cousin's family who lived on the English Estate. Her parents were divorcing and her life was a mess. She was going to live with her father. She and Fitz fell for each other like a ton of bricks. They were together all summer and on the last night they made love. Unfortunately there was a condom failure. Fitz asks her to marry him but did it in such a way that she felt it was only for the baby. He left for university out of the country (big mistake to leave your pregnant GF) and wrote her some very benign letters...thinking he was doing the right thing as not to pressure her into marrying him.

He gets a call one day and Daisy has been in a bad automobile accident and it caused a miscarriage. He shows up and still offers to marry her but made it sound like he was doing her a favor. She turned him down because he had never told her his feelings for her. She was heartbroken and told him to go away and leave her alone...and that is exactly what he did for nine years. One of his brothers told him that he made a vital error in not telling Daisy that he loved her. Fitz thinks his brother is nuts because he felt he did everything to 'show' her he loved her...

They have to unravel the past before they can move on to the future. Another lovely love story.

Daisy Edwards has been in love with Fitz English since she was seventeen years old. They met one summer when she stayed with her cousin Emily. It was the perfect story of summer love until tragedy struck; now nine years later Daisy is back in Philadelphia and ready to put her past with Fitz behind her. The only question now is will Fitz let her go?

I loved Daisy’s character. Aside from her complicated feelings about Fitz she is fun and free spirited. She has a wild and carefree personality that is infectious. Fitz is the opposite, he is reserved and not one to voice his feelings. Fitz is calculating; looking at things from all angles to make sure everything is perfect. The only time he ever let go was when he was with Daisy; so she compliments him very well.

Katy Regnery has made me fall for the English brothers in a big way. These men are gorgeous, powerful, and when they love a woman they hold nothing back. Regnery tells stories that will make you daydream with starry eyes about romantic interludes with gorgeous men who are damn near perfect! I can’t wait to meet the rest of the English brothers; Weston, Stratton, and the playboy Alex. I am now waiting with baited breath for the third book in the English Brothers series called Anyone but Alex. If you are a true romantic who likes a little heat in their read don’t let the English brothers pass you by!

Move over Barrett.  Fitz is my new favorite English brother.  Years after their most memorable summer, Daisy and Fitz reunite and not only does it reignite their feelings for each other but they must both come to terms with the events that resulted from their summer together.

From that first night, Fitz is bound and determined to win Daisy back and Daisy fights struggles with what happened back then and can't trust she won't be hurt again.  Though they struggle, there are many lighthearted moments that prove, they not only shared a love but a true friendship.

This story was filled with sweet romance and several tear filled moments.  I felt their sadness and their love.  On top of the emotional filled story line, we get to see, as well as fell, their sexual chemistry...and talk about some seriously steamy love scenes.

Capture

I don't know how she does it, but Katy is just an amazing storyteller and shares with us some epic romances.  Another 5 star read.

My Rating:

4.5

Favorite Quotes:

The ten or twelve feet apart from her was suddenly unbearable and as though Fitz was made of iron and she was a magnet, he felt pulled to her in an uncompromising way, compelled to move closer to the force of nature that was Daisy Edwards.

…you sigh in your sleep, did you know that? You sigh. And I decided it’s the last sound I want to hear before I die, Daisy. I want to hear you. Sighing beside me.

My Review:

I started off a bit fearful I wasn't going to like Daisy, but my anxiety was for naught. I loved Fitz just as much I had loved Barrett in the first story. Ms. Regnery’s writing is enjoyable, descriptive, and inventive. Each character is of course exceedingly good looking, successful, smart, witty, and endowed with unique personalities and endearing quirks. I found the love scenes were deliciously steamy, yet tenderly sensual. Book series tend to make me a bit nervous but I am relieved that each book could stand alone with no cliffhangers, but I also enjoy how the books and characters overlap. I am now curious to see what happens with the remaining family members.

Falling foe Fitz is the second book in the English Brother Series and it is just as good as the first one. 4 Fitz and Daisy lovin stars.

Daisy and Fitz spent one magical summer together when Daisy was 17 and Fitz was 20. They were young maybe too young to admit to their feelings. They have a slight accident with a major impact. Life continues but also works in mysterious ways.
Fast forward 9 years later.

Fitz never forgot Daisy and well Daisy never forgot Fitz. Daisy has moved back to Philly and has dropped the bomb that she is getting married just so that she can put her past behind her.
In a long time I have never seen a couple that has so much miscommunication and making assumptions on various things.
There are hilarious moments and this was a lot of fun to read.

Goodness, goodness, goodness. Seriously did not think I would love any book as much as Barrett and Emily's, however I might just love this one even more. Fitz and Daisy were so great together and even though you think man this story is moving fast, it really isn't because these two have known and loved each other for nine long years. I truly felt the heartache, the love, the laughter and everything in between. It was just a really great story. I also must say how great I find it that Barrett and Emily's story also continues without overshadowing Fitz and Daisy's. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these English Brothers!!! This is more than a 5 star read!! Remarkable!!

If you thought you liked Barrett English, you will LOVE Fitz English!

Fitz and Daisy were crazy for each other when they were younger, but neither one of them want to complicate things by saying "I love you". They didn't realize that things were going to get very complicated. When Daze finally shows back up 9 years later (after telling him to leave her alone) he does everything he can to prove to her that they belong together. Time after time I fell for Fitz! He's a little reckless, but it's all out of love for Daisy. The sparks between the two couldn't be denied.

This is a must read series of books. I love the English brothers. I'm pretty sure Fitz is my favorite! (So far!!)

Falling for Fitz is the second book in the 5 part series about the English brothers. All I can say is wow just wow. Read this book. This is Fitz and Daisy's story. I loved them. Such an easy couple to like. I instantly fell in love with Fitz. He is strong, yet tender, romantic, easy going. Every girl deserves a Fitz. They met and had a summer fling when she was 17 and he was 20. They parted ways after the summer, but never forgot one another. When their eyes meet at a gala years later you could feel the electricity so I knew I was in for a wild ride and Katy did not disappoint. The next book cannot come out soon enough.

Fitz English only loved once, but he let her go. Nine years later she is back and Fitz is not going to let her go again. Daisy Edwards knew Fitz was her one and only but an incident happened that was beyond their control that destroyed everything. Daisy wants Fritz back and has a creative way for getting him to see her again. Fitz is hooked but will he be able to win Daisy back again?

Charming story. I never doubted Fitz's feelings for Daisy and you are cheering when they get it together. Excellent second book in series.

<4 FITZILICIOUS STARS

This grabbed my dingleberries and held on till I finished the book, read it in one sitting!

It was funny, sweet and entertaining, I loved Dr M's Jazz hands, then I was giggling like a fool when he had his personality change.
The H and h had chemistry and personality. I liked the fact the h didn't wallow in what had gone on in the past, even though she still had insecurities.

A really sweet love story.

So glad I stuck with this series, looking forward to Alex's story.

I was rather eager to get to this story, after having enjoyed the previous book in the series. That being said, while this was a decent story, I felt it was too short and didn't go into enough detail about the relationship between Fitz and Daisy. It felt as though much of their history got glossed over, and the things that provided conflict for them were easily smoothed over. There wasn't a lot of in depth, soul searching discussions happening between the two of them, and I felt that they suffered for it. Their relationship seemed all sunshine and roses, but I couldn't help wondering when and if that other shoe would drop, and resentment would creep in. Even the replay of previous events was downplayed! The story, while entertaining, just didn't ring true for me.

This review was previously posted at LABOOK'S... This book was given by the author through BBT in exchange of a honest review.

I have to say that I love The entire series! This is my first time reading this author but it won't be my last, because she is amazing in bring the characters to life and telling the story so well.

I enjoy the plots of each book, though we could find that is just another love story, "oh! the girl has a secret crush with the guy, also the guy has been in love of the girl for so long" and that, but I like the twist and the way that the argument doesn't fall into the boring zone. And also that they could be so real. Like, those things could totally happend and we all can relate to them somehow.

The characters from the three novels were marvelous. I'm happy because we really can defined each personality from each characters inside each story. Some authors get lots in the way they present their characters and sometimes, the way we see them in one book changes in the upcoming one, but fortunately, miss Regnery keeps true to what she creates since Braking with Barret, though we just can see a slice of the secondary characters on it.

As well, I love how the girls are not influece by other people. They had their moment, of course, because we hardly can't say that we never have been thought wrong thanks to a mean girl, but I like how they try hard to believe in the guys and don't lose their mind into those thing. For example, I like how Emily stand her side and not get into the social coventions, she was Breaking with Barret just because what she felt; also that even if Daisy was Falling for Fitz, she make things difficult to him (sure he didn't deserve it), and she was making her point trying to not get hurt again; or Jessica who understand that she can't lose herself for love, even if there wasn't Anyone but Alex for her, and then destroy everything they have because she couldn't be happy.

The Three English brothers till now were amazing, I truly fall in love for them all. Though, I like Alex the most (because who doesn't want to reform a libertine and become he last and only love), but Barret and Fitz could very well be my ideal man, I don't know I can't chose yet! (Maybe, I keep the three of them - or five). What I liked the most of those novels is that I laugh out loud with them; there were some marvelous comments and situations with the characters that were hilarious!

However, I need to say that the only thing that bothers me is the fact that the three novels have this background story between the characters. I really didn't like that, and also that the boys were acting so girly thinking about their girls. Fortunately, the upcoming book has a little twist and the main characters doesn't know each other very well.

Overall, I'm enjoy this book very much. It was sweet and lovely with great characters and some funny scenes. I recommend it to all who like romances and happy endings!
