Online chatter hints at a mysterious threat to the United States. Is it a publicity stunt? A hoax? Or something devious and dangerous? When Haley Albright and the other intelligence analysts of the Central Analysis Group look deeper, they realize it’s an imminent threat from a previously unknown terrorist group.
They have a tenuous lead, an untrustworthy ally, and a desperate to save the country from utter ruin.
But America is still recovering from a recent attack.
Alex “Axe” Southmark has barely healed from injuries sustained on his previous mission.
Haley is forbidden from any active role in the field.
Still, the team must hunt for the person or group that conceived of the cyberattacks on the country—while uncovering the truth behind the recent online warnings.
And they discover there is much more going on than meets the eye…
Join the team of unsanctioned assets—Axe, Blondie, Johnboy, Mad Dog, and Tex—along with new allies and old enemies—on another action-packed, page-turning mission.
As a kid, I wanted to be a writer. After several fun careers, I've finally realized that dream.
It's both easier and more difficult than I thought it would be. When the words are flowing, it's miraculous. I feel like I'm taking dictation, typing the words that are meant to be written.
When the ideas don't come, I go for a run, think about what I would love to read, then start again.
Little by little, stories take shape, characters get into trouble, work their way out, and a book gets written.
Now, with over 17,000 5-star reviews of my books, I feel incredibly blessed that people enjoy my stories.

When not writing, I'm an avid hiker and photographer. I love getting out in nature to take pictures.
Well, Brad Lee does NOT disappoint!! This is #7 in the "Unsanctioned Asset" series (A Team of Seven, starts with A Team of One....), and it was jam-packed with action, suspense, questions, humor, and all the things..... I've read all these books, and each one is better than the last!! If you like fast-action, on-your-toes, race-to-the-finish line books, this series (and his Target series as well) are definitely worth reading.
To7 is another outstanding entry in Brad Lee's Unsanctioned Asset series. The pacing is tight, the action is relentless, and the plot is layered with just the right amount of suspense and intrigue. Brad Lee does an excellent job of balancing high-stakes missions with strong character development, making it easy to stay invested from start to finish. The book delivers everything fans of military and intelligence thrillers expects, sharp dialogues, realistic operational details, and non-stop momentum. It works well as part of the series but is also engaging enough to enjoy on its own. Highly recommended for readers who enjoy smart, action-driven thrillers with depth and authenticity.
By no means one of the better ones in the series A lot of the book is spent going over Axe and Hayley's place in the team, should they be active or office and so much of it detracts from the main storyline The main story is interesting, but you end up with people with little experience bettering those with loads of it The whole premise of a spy wanting better for themselves and trying to prove to their organisation their worth is well done. The issue of the team being operators, not spies bites them in the rear repeatedly and is something that needs to be addressed Other than that it's all very predictable but enjoyable enough. 3* may seem low, but it's an OK score that will mean I'll keep reading the series and the author
I was excited when I realized that there was going to be another book in this series, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The story had a lot of different aspects to it, which made it a complex read, but it was easy to follow everything going on. I was hoping for another book, especially after the previous one and all of the horrific tragedies that occurred. It was an intense and suspenseful thriller, and it was a perfect ending for this mission. I would really like to see more stories in this series, especially with the new information given at the end of this book! I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.
Non-Stop Action This book is the 7th in a series that really needs to be read in order. This episode is the next step from the last episode from an action standpoint. Additionally, all of the characters grow and evolve over time, and those back stories are very important to each story. This is a great action series of good guys versus bad guys nd a few gray guys thrown in. It is a clean series with no foul language, minimal gore, reasonable violence, and no open-door intimacy.
I have enjoyed all of Brad Lee’s Unsanctioned Asset series books, and have had a hard time putting the previous books in the series down. With the Team of Seven, it was difficult to stay engaged. There are so many subplots and curves to the storyline it really got tiring to follow. I feel the book/story could have been condensed. Even though the previous book was similar in page volume, it held my attention throughout, Team of Seven did not.
Disclaimer: I follow Author Lee on social media and get his newsletters, so I knew in advance this was his longest book ever. I hate to admit, it felt like it. There are so many plates spinning in this story and Lee successfully lands about half of them. Trimming this novel down by 100 pages and removing half the ancillary characters would make this much better.
So worth the wait. Only took me couple chapters to get back in ‘Alex World’ and then the story took off. Brad Lee put together an exciting but challenging problem for Axe and his team centered in NYC. Every team member had to contribute and do their part. Well done!
Just finished this book. Took about 3 weeks, which is long for me, but, I was busy doing other things besides reading. Anyway. This book grows on the series of a one-man team, to a team of seven, acquiring team members with each series. I enjoyed the book as I like the black ops type of book. Will see what comes next.
Just when you think nothing new can be written that's not a tired repeat, A Team Of Seven hits the page! The Team books are always so realistic and shows the character of true evil and real heros!
A Team of Seven in the Series continues to thrill!
This seventh book in “The Team of…” series, continues the interesting action, twists-turns and some surprises. This story had multiple characters, aside from the Team, and had many simultaneous events happening, which were easy to keep up with due to the clear writing approach by Brad Lee. A great read!
I follow Lee’s Facebook page, with all his “updates”. I almost forgot (just kidding) how good this series is (was?). Real good follow up to the prior book; great plot, pace, and, of course, character development. Will definitely check out his new series.
This is another fast paced, hanging by your fingertips, unputdownable, entertaining read ! All of the author, Mr Brad Lee’s books hook you from the opening pages. I only hope there are many more to come !
This is another Outstanding Book in an Outstanding Series!! I found it a very exciting read and the storylines were easy to follow. Start this Series with the First Book.
This is the best book in the series and that's saying something. I actually stopped reading another book to read this one. I hope there's another one down the road.
Simply put the writing, the story line, the descriptions of the people and events transformed the reader to each location and insight to every personality.
I am currently on Chapter 58 page which is only 30% in. Very easily the author could reduce the number of pages without affecting the overall storyline.
Always a good story from Brad Lee. Bradley writes well crafted characters and plot lines. I would get a lot more done during the day if I wasn’t reading his books.
