*Book provided by author for a honest review.*

This is the second book in the Daughters of Darkness series, and my favorite by far. This book is about the second daughter of darkness Jacey Noble. Shadow cursed picks right up where Blood Slaves leaves off. If you have not read Blood Slaves, I recommend that you read it before reading Shadow Cursed because you will definitely be lost. N.L. Hoffman is an awesome writer, so I was so excited to read this book.

I really loved this book. N.L. Hoffman takes paranormal to another level. She has regular paranormal creatures like Vampires and Werewolves, but she also creates these bad ass characters that are unique and awesome. Jacey is a shadow. Without giving away any spoilers, she basically can use the darkness that is around her to do her bidding. Lets just say... I wish I was a shadow!

I love the way Miss Hoffman mixes it up. This book will also have you dying from laughter. Lucifer Jacey and Blake (from Blood Slaves) father. In most books Lucifer is evil, and feared. But, N.L. Hoffman shows us a funny side of him. However, I am sure that evil side is there. After all he is a demon. "Let me tell the story, you're butchering it." Lucifer said appearing in the middle of the island's countertop. He was wearing swim trunks that were bright orange with palm trees. "What's with the swimming gear?" Blake asked, disturbed by rhe up close and personal view of Lucifer. Lucifer smiles. " I am in the middle of an island!" "Oh. WOW. He. Was. Special. "That's a real knee slapper." I told him, rolling my eyes grinning. Lucifer all of a sudden has tanning lotion in his hand. He glances over at Electa. "Would you be a darling and put some on my back?" Electa starts laughing. "Ah, no I think I am okay.." "Fine." He made a grumpy face and threw the lotion behind him, and it disappears before hitting the floor.

I also loved all of the twist and turns through out this book Miss Hoffman will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat. I loved the chase of trying to figure out who was doing all of the killing. Miss Hoffman keeps the reader guessing. Characters I thought would never backstab another character actually does. This book is captivating, and I loved every moment of it. I love that Miss Hoffman introduces us to new characters while including most of the old characters.

Romance, romance, romance, while everything else is going on Miss Hoffman manages to throw in a romance. Everyone knows that I love romance. There is so much that can be said about this book. From the humor, to the romance, to the mystery and suspense. I am afraid my review will not do this book justice. You will just have to read it for yourself. I really enjoyed this book, and I can not wait for the next book in this series.

Move over Blake there is a new girl in town and her name is Jacey. She is a US marshal that is due for an overdue vacation. Which she reluctantly takes, but a new case will throw her into a whole new heap of trouble with a werewolf for a partner and finding out she is a shadow. Jacey's whole world spins 360 degrees as she finds out she is a supernatural and hated among most of the supernatural world . Now she has to figure out her role as a shadow and figure out who is murdering people.

With the help of the supernatural council and her hot werewolf partner. And the characters from book one . Blake and Jacey find out they are sisters and Lucifer is their father . Will they survive and will Jacey accept her role in the shadows.

I was so excited when I heard that this book was live. I so loved Blake and everyone from the first book. But the second book takes it a step further. N.L has written a kick ass heroine in Jacey and when paired with Blake they are unstoppable. Then there are the hunks that are well just say along for the ride with the girls. Trent is one hot werewolf and he loves to get under Jacey's skin. They are meant to be together in my eyes and I can't wait to see how they find their way through everything happening. These guys are hot together and I mean very hot. I want some Trent . He made my heart go pitter patter a few times . sigh. N.L brought back the cast of characters from book one and I was happy to see also. Eli and Blake are still hot and heavy. Lucifer is still as crazy as he was in the first book.

N.L as written a great second book. She will take you on a rollercoaster as you read. Trust me there are some twists that you would never see coming and you will laugh hard at some of the scenes with Lucifer. She paints such a fun picture of Lucifer and boy he is really crazy. I love him and his craziness. You will be thrown into a steamy and hot story along with a murder mystery. With a touch of fantasy . The shadow story line is a new one for me. I mean we have all read the vampire and werewolf stories. But the shadows are totally different. They are a cool new concept for me. They are like the keepers of the peace. I can't wait till she writes more about the shadows. The author does keep you entertained all the way through and you will laugh and laugh. Trust me just don't drink anything while reading any scenes with Lucifer. You could end up snorting tea through your nose . Yes I do admit I did a couple of times. This book will also induce a very bad book hangover cause you stayed up late and read all night. So I will warn you now. Read late at night at your own risk cause once you start you will not put down until you are done.

When I read the book summary for "Shadow Cursed" I couldn't understand why the author would be introducing a new main character in the second book of the Daughters of Darkness series; but, when I began reading the book, I totally understood.

Jacey Nobles is a U.S. Marshal who has been pulled out of her vacation to assist with the Detroit P. D. on a murder case. Lord have mercy; but, this girl is the funniest but most exasperating character I've read in a long time. Just thinking about her makes me smile. Unfortunately, Detective Trent Vilnova isn't so impressed especially when her latent Shadow abilities emerge after she is attacked by a werewolf.

Jacey now has entered the Twilight Zone since she had no previous knowledge of paranormals. However, this isn't going to be her only rude awakening especially when she meets her father for the first time and he is none other than Lucifer. As Jacey comes to grips with her emerging Shadow abilities as well as exactly what it means to be a Shadow, Jacey has to juggle so many things including the fact that she has a sister and the Shadows want her to be their queen; but quite honestly the only thing she really wants is to get a little nooky. Yep, I said it! She is hornier than a dog in heat and that itch is about to be scratched.

There is plenty to love about this read especially the humor. I found myself chuckling a lot through out this book. I thought I liked Blake but Jacey is definitely my favorite sister. I know you are wondering why I didn't give this book 5 out of 5 stars. The answer is, I found the ending to be rather anticlimactic and unsatisfying. I wanted/ needed more! However, don't let this one small irritation stop you from enjoying this book and this series. You will definitely regret it.

This is the second book of The Daughters of Darkness series and picks up right after the first one, Blood Slaves. Now, it's not necessary to read the first book, but I still recommend it; that way you have a little back story.

In Shadow Cursed, we meet Jacey, a US Marshall. This story was everything that the first book was and much more. I found myself laughing out loud at all the hysterics. Lucifer aka Jacey's father was freakin hilarious. I also loved Jacey. There were times when you could tell she is dark, suppressed, hidden in herself; but then she shows her true form, and you can't help but fall in love with her character. After she finds out a dark secret about herself, her world is turned upside down, and lands right in the hands of the brooding wolf, Trent. Holy hottie alert!! Trent melted my heart. I completely fell so hard for him.

Filled with unforeseen twists and turns, the hilarious commentary, and the undeniable romance, this book has it all. I'm very proud of the author because this book shows her talent and you can really see it grow from her previous work.

I can't wait for the next book in the series. Grab this one now!

Jacey Noble is a US Marshal. She is about to start her long overdue vacation when a break in a case she has been working on comes to surface. When she gets to the scene, she meets the very sexy Detroit cop by the name of Trent. That’s the night that her whole life changes.

Jacey is very attracted to Trent but he keeps going bipolar hormonal on her. They work the case together and Trent goes from hot to cold. Stop then go. Rinse and repeat. Poor Jacey is five seconds away from having a sexual meltdown. When the reason becomes clear as to why Trent is being that way, it still doesn’t stop the building attraction.

You see, Jacey is a Shadow. Her father is Lucifer and that makes her part demon. The demon part doesn’t turn off the werewolf Trent, but the Shadow side of her does. Jacey didn’t know any of this growing up. Now that she knows she is trying hard to learn what a Shadow is and what they do. A Shadow is like a supernatural enforcer. They kill supernatural beings. Seeing that Trent lost many loved ones to Shadows….you see where he might not want to bend to his attraction to Jacey.

Trent’s inner beast wants to claim her; make her his in every way, but he can’t seem to get over the elephant in the room. Will dark forces threatening her life be enough for him to jump the hurdle? Read to find out!

This book was well written and sucked me in early. I loved the building on and off again relationship between Trent and Lacey. As always, Lucifer delivers many laughs. I really enjoyed reading the characters from this book blending in with the ones from book 1 of the series. Lots of mystery has been added to this series and I can’t wait to read what is going to happen in the next book. There are lots of humorous moments. Jacey is wide open and doesn’t hold back. Trent is hot hot hot hot hot. I’ve really loved getting to know each character. I recommend 1-clicking today.

U.S. Marshal, Jacey Noble is finally getting the vacation she has longed for, sitting in front of her TV with a stack of movies and a huge bowl of popcorn, paradise. Paradise was short lived when on her first day of vacation a call from her boss Phil comes in requesting her to investigate a murder. This investigation will not only ruin her vacation plans but will change her life in ways she could never have expected.

At the murder scene she is partnered with a detective, Trent Vinolva and it is immediate hatred between the two. The victim has been torn apart and it was apparently done by a wolf, a wolf that suddenly appears in front of them. Without hesitation Jacey kills the wolf and the killing sets off an unbelievable chain of events. Jacey has turned into a Shadow the enemy of all supernaturals. They are known to kill, kill and kill some more and are very hard to beat. Once she killed for the first time her transition began. The wolf she killed was a werewolf just like Trent.

Now she finds herself a supernatural being who is hated by every other supernatural including Trent and on top of that she has to deal with the knowledge that the things that go bump in the night are actually real. Now Trent has to work alongside someone he doesn't trust or like but they have a killer to find especially when more deaths occur, one more horrendous than the other.

In spite of Trent's hatred of Shadows he can't keep himself away from Jacey and the feeling is mutual. Jacey is quite a character she is sarcastic, says whatever comes into her head and she is very very funny. She is also extremely sex crazed. Every male she sees she wants and she has no inhibitions about letting them know. I found myself laughing out loud many times, it is impossible not too.

There is a werewolf killing and it must be stopped but that is not the only thing Jacey has to deal with. Surprise, surprise her father is none other than the King of Hell, Lucifer himself. She meets up with her half-sister Blake and her Vampire King, Eli. She finds out that she is the Shadow Queen and has to find a way to take over the Shadows and bring them peace. She has to deal with a father who thinks nothing of appearing in a grass skirt with a coconut bra or naked, who thought the devil had sense of humor. And then there is Trent who she can't help loving. Trent loves her but she doesn't make it easy.

This series is wonderful and there are no cliffhangers. Each story is about one of the three Noble sisters who have to come together to bring peace. We have met two of the three but there is still one more out there. There is romance, violence, lies, betrayals and one surprise after another. I can't wait for the next book to meet sister number three.

This is the second book in the Daughters of Darkness series. Jacey Noble is supposed to be on vacation from her job as a U.S. Marshall. She gets a call from her boss that she is needed on a case. She meets the local detective, Trent she is going to be working with when she gets to the scene. While checking out the scene she hears something and while trying to check it out gets attacked. Trent takes her back to his apartment instead of taking her to the hospital. When she wakes up the next morning she has marks on her. She proceeds to freak out. Trent tells her that he thinks she is a shadow. He shows her his wolf and tells her what little he knows about shadows. They kill other supernaturals. He tells her he doesn’t like her kind and he doesn’t really want to work with her but he has no choice. While trying to figure out their case and this new side of herself she finds out that she has a sister. Blake and she have a rocky start. Once introduced to the supernatural world she learns all kinds of new things and meets new people. One of the new people she meets is the Warlock king, Evander. He lets Jacey know that he is interested in a more than business relationship with her. She feels something for him but not like she feels for Trent. Trent is hot and cold towards Jacey but he has his reasons and things he needs to get over. She is a shadow and he has had a bad incident with them in the past. Jacey learns she is not just a shadow but their queen. Will Jacey accept her place among the shadows? Will Jacey choice Trent or Evander? Will she be able to accept this new part of her life?
I really enjoyed this book. Jacey is thrust into this new world she knows nothing about. She learns that Satan is her father and that her mother was the last shadow queen. Her new partner is a wolf and her sister is part demon, part vampire. She is forced to excerpt all these new things. She could ignore it but then what would happen. That isn’t who she really is. She is a Marshall and has duty. So many things happen in this book. There are twists and turns that I didn’t expect but loved. The characters all flow and interact so well together. The case from the first book continues into this one. They keep finding more things out and are getting pulled further down this rabbit hole. Every time they think they have it figured out they find something new out. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series and find out what happens next. Fantastic series.
I was given this book in return for an honest review.

Love Love Loved, Shadow Cursed by N.L.Hoffmann I was asked few months ago to review Blood Slaves and I loved that I was hooked and could not wait to meet the next daughter of darkness. Shadow Cursed is the second book in the Daughters Of Darkness Series. The book took the story to whole new place, it was more revealing showed me the reader the bigger picture and you saw new sides to our favourite characters from book one Blood Slaves.

Shadow Cursed is all about Jacey Noble US Marshall and all round sarcastic bad ass! I love her, I actually do I want her to be my friend, she is just that awesome. She is different from Blake (Blood Slaves) she has a more darker outlook on life, she knows sometimes hard decisions have to be made to get the job done. From the first line in the book I knew she was a character that would stay with me. Witty, beautiful and knows exactly what she wants and knows what she will do to get it. That is until she discovers what she truly is, she isn't just a bad ass US Marshall oh no she is a Shadow, What I liked about the whole Shadow concept was that its so different, yes we have all read vampire books, we all know about werewolves and we have come across witchs more times than I can count, but a shadow now thats a new to me, a supernatural that can manipulate the shadows into doing whatever they wish, scary right? I loved this, I loved getting to know more about the shadows and their background.

Now love interest, cue Trent broody handsome Trent, a wolf with a bad experience of shadows, he just so happens to be partnered with Jacey Noble on one mysterious and close to home case, where there is a murdering she wolf on the loose. I adored Trent, he really blossomed in the book, revealing more of himself and being pretty badass to be honest.

Shadow Cursed has a original premise, its funny, entertaining and full of complications and adventure. I adore the hell out of it!

Oh did I mention Lucifer is back and full of inappropriate comments, embarrassing fashion decisions and that swarve English accent!

With new characters, old favourites, and an adventure of a lifetime Shadow cursed is a creative, entertaining novel and a fabulous follow up from Blood Slaves, you can see the progression and the growth in the author!!

Shadow Cursed (The Daughters of Darkness 2)

What a totally engrossing delightful romp! When Marshall Jacey Noble is called in off vacation to go to the scene of a murder and shows up wearing a white T-shirt with fuzzy pink handcuffs on it, I was hooked. Although I chuckled through Blood Slaves, the first book in the Daughters of Darkness series, I absolutely chortled with glee all the way through Shadow Cursed. When Jacey announces to Detective Trent Vinolva that they are partners, he is absolutely horrified, wanting nothing to with this unconventional, unprofessional woman. He is astounded that she is a U.S. Marshall. Jacey is determined to change his mind, and his attitude. When Jacey kills a wolf at the murder scene, the life she has known up until this point is abruptly tossed out the window. Big changes are in store for Jacey as she is introduced to the world of the paranormal and finds out she has family. Jacey is apparently a Shadow, an anathema to the rest of the supernatural community, including Trent. As if it wasn't enough for her to find out she is not human, she finds out that Lucifer is her father and her sister Blake is...well, a lot like herself, actually. Jacey just wants to be a Marshall and is determined to find the murderer. If only it were that easy. Jacey is attacked by other Shadows, hated and feared by most of the supernaturals, including Trent who has good reason to hate Shadows. Her continual messing with Trent is a source of constant amusement and, when he turns, he turns 180 heated degrees. On her way to tracking down the murderer, Jacey slowly comes to accept who she is, and what she is destined to be. With the intertwining of the characters from the last book, introduction of a few new characters, and more frequent appearances by Lucifer, it is pretty hard to write anything without giving too much away and hard to see how the author can top this one. This story is filled with entertaining plot twists that keep you wondering just what the heck is going to happen next and will ensure that you will want to be along on the next ride. Please, N.L. Hoffmann, book my seat now, because I cannot wait to see what else you have in store for The Daughters of Darkness.

Shadow Cursed
By N.L. Hoffman
4.5 stars

This is the second book in the series and it does not disappoint! The story line flows with the characters from book one Blood Slave and adds a couple new ones. A hot ass sexy werewolf detective named Trent Vinolva and a smartass cocky and US Marshall named Jaecy Noble. They are teamed up together to solve a killing or should I say mutilation of an ex mobster. We find out that Blake and Jacey are actually half sisters, having the same father Lucifer. Now there is a character that will make you laugh out loud! I wonder if he just had a crazy sense of humor or does he one foot in the insane asylum!

When Jacey and Trent first meet at the crime scene of a murder they really do not like one another and at times it is comedy to read the things that happen between them. At this crime scene Jacey hears wht she thinks is a dog in the back part of the house, before Trent can stop her she is attacked by the very large wolf, but manages to get a couple of shots off and kills the wolf before she blacks out. After this attack things start changing within her body. She soon is informed that she is a supernatural being called a shadow. She does not take all of this very seriously and again gives us some laughs at her ways of thinking. Soon she realizes that it is not a joke and she needs answers that no one seems to want to give her.

She ends up meeting her half sister Blake and Blake’s friends where she is told a little more about what she is now and then to find out that Lucifer The King of Hell is her father! Now with the help of all her new supernatural friends, father and the council she is hot on the trail to find the killer of Martinez the mobster that was mutilated.

This series is a great read that I would recommend to all paranormal readers. It has twists, turns, humor, love and loyalty. I am really glad that I chose to review this one for a blog tour, I am looking forward to book three…. Because the story is not finished but I will not say how I know this. Find out for yourself and make sure to read book one Blood Slave then this book Shadow Cursed you will not be disappointed!

*Warning: may contain spoilers*

This is book 2, but I feel like it could be independent of book 1, or they could be read in reverse and you wouldn't feel lost. Probably because Hoffmann has a great ability to create a world and just suck you right into it as if you're the main character, or at the very least, a ghost watching things happen.

Jacey Noble is a U.S. Marshal who just wants to enjoy her well deserved week long vacation. But dammit, that's just not going to happen, because murders keep happening, particularly to her co-workers. Since Jacey is as good as it gets, she's the one that gets called in to work. Her boss also happens to know some things about Jacey that she doesn't know about herself - yet.

What she does know is that she wants to bang her new (and unreluctant) partner is super smoking hot Trent Vinolva.

What starts as a random investigation turns paranormal fast when a werewolf begins attacking. Soon Jacey finds out so is Trent, and she herself is known as a shadow - a super powerful being that can manipulate darkness as well as destroy pretty much every other supernatural creature. She also happens to be the daughter of the oh so crazy Satan and half sister of Blake (from book 1).

I love Jacey's sense of humor! She's got a quirky style about her and doesn't take things too seriously. She does her job in a very unorthodox way, and she has a super heated relationship with Trent once he gets down off of his high horse.

She and Blake pretty much hit it off, with a couple of bumpy spots, but that's to be expected with sisters.

As Jacey tries to solve her latest case she's forced to try and avoid being killed, since she's a shadow and others are afraid of her. So with a new case, new relationship, new sister and new paranormal experiences to learn to deal with, she's definitely got her hands full!

It's a fun ride from start to finish.

Shadow Cursed is book two in The Daughters of Darkness series. You will need to read book one Blood Slaves to understand book two completely.

Shadow Cursed is an excellent follow up to book one. It continues to introduce us to new characters and we also continue to get to know previous characters.

We meet U.S. Marshal Jacey Noble as our heroine. We find out Jacey is the daughter of Lucifer and sister to Blake. Just like her family, she also comes across as certifiable crazy – which offers many laugh out loud moments in the book. She is dropped in the deep end of the Supernatural world when she is attacked by a werewolf whilst investigating a murder. By killing her first supernatural her heritage is activated.

Jacey is a type of supernatural that I have not come across before – a Shadow. As the title suggests, she is able to manipulate shadows. The race has been led astray since the death of their last queen, and Jacey must work to bring them back into the life they were meant to lead.

Detective Jake Vinolva is just one of our sexy heroes. A werewolf in nature he fights his attraction to Jacey: “When I first met you, I liked you right away, but I thought there was no way in hell I would fall for someone wearing fuzzy handcuffs on her shirt. It was ridiculous, everything about you was f*cking nuts.”

I really like that the heroes of this series remain true to their mates. There is some angst in the relationships, manly from the men fighting their attraction to the crazy women, and the women struggling to give up their completely independent lives. The relationships are refreshing in the way they develop, with both partners being strong and equal.

This series remains a must read in my books, due to the author’s unique take on the supernatural world. It’s interesting and new and very enjoyable to read. I am sure you will love the “annoying” leading ladies just as much as I do.

I received a copy of this book, for an honest opinion.

Lucky for you, you can’t see me dancing, because this book, is amazing and worth dancing for!!! I loved N. L Hoffmann’s first book Blood Slave, but this one is just utterly my favourite.
In this we meet the second sister, Jacey who quickly finds out about her paranormal self; Part demon, part shadow. I absolutely loved this concept; it’s such a fresh flavour on the paranormal world.
I loved the incorporation of the same members from the first book, and found myself flipping over page to page, to say loudly “well that’s awkward” at every plot twist. It is magnificently written, with Hoffmann’s awesome humour; and I must add every time I read her books I have the desperate need to grab myself a bag of popcorn or eat two day old Pizza. In this I can definitely relate with the characters.
My heart still debates whether Jacey should be with Trent, her werewolf lover, or the warlock Evander. I have to admit I am a team Evander. But no need to worry, as there is book three which will soon incorporate the third sister, and I am hoping Evander will make a comeback.
Admittedly as I write this I have already started book three, just can’t seem to put them down. If you are after a kick-ass book, where all the characters are basically epic; suspenseful longing and lust; and the paranormal: Then I invite you to share my popcorn, as you are about to experience the awesome Hoffmann world.

Who doesn't like humor? The world is a sad place in need of hope, humor, hard core heroines, and passionate men. Why else do we escape into these novels? They grant our wishes and satiate our needs. N.L. Hoffman offers these qualities and so much more!

The anticipation surrounding the animosity between Trent and Jacey caused me to question whether or not even cared for them to become a couple.  As it turns out, I very much care! It only made this journey all the more "delightful."

The secondary characters from Blood Slaves were not attribute nearly as much presence in Shadow Cursed, but I loved the new characters introduction ino this installment.

In the beginning my heart felt broken as I no longer loved the Blake I'd just read about. She felt power hungry and compassion - less.  That part is disappointing because Blake's personality in Blood Slaves was my addiction catalyst to the series. As it turns out, that is part of a grand mystery that was one of the MANY to shock me!

The revelation's in Shadow Cursed left me no option but to fall even more in love with the series! Everything that had happened from the first book to half of this one could not have prepared me for a plot development of this magnitude! The ending is pure perfection.

I am actually nervous to the read the next installment.  To stack up against these two it will need to be of prestine quality!

From start to finish, Shadow Cursed is a valuable asset to any library.

I love this series by N.L. Hoffmann, I loved "Shadow Cursed",book 2 in The Daughters of Darkness series,I loved the story line, the characters,it had humor, suspense, great plot twists, and romance. In this story you will meet Marshal Jacey Nobel, she is also Lucifer's daughter..she is sent by her boss to investigate a murder, and yes this story will take you deeper into the Covert. As she gets to the scene of the murder, she meets Detective Trent Vinolvo(he is a werewolf),things happen at the scene and Jacey finds out she is a Shadow(you need to read the book for this as I don't do spoilers),as they get further into the case, with Jacey dealing with this new power in her life, they are also battling the sexual tension between them,I love the by-play between them as they are both snarky! And yes,Blake,Eli and the others from book 1(Blood Slaves)will make an appearance in this book as well, but the focus stays on Trent & Jacey. If you loved book 1,you will love book 2,I did,and hoping for more... read the books, enjoy the books,if you love Paranormal romance you will love this series and this author.

U.S. Marshal Jacey Noble has no idea that Supernatural Beings Exist.
Pulled into a world she has no clue how to navigate. She finds that she has a sister who half Demon/Vampire and is mated with an Ancient Vampire. With 2 males a Warlock King and a Wolfe Shifter wanting her , she becomes immersed in the Supernatural World. Finding out she is more than she seems her new family and friends will help her all they can.

This book was fast paced and had me laughing at Jacey and her sense of humor was over the top! I highly recommend this series and am waiting for book 3 to come out!!!

Cover art says so much about the feisty, Shadow Queen Jacey Noble! Bring on the sexy, werewolf mate Trent, demon Silas, warlock Evander, and her sister Blake(continued from Blood Slaves). Marshal Jacey on a mission to find a rogue half-werewolf/half-vampire named Lucy. A trail of dead bodies linking to amatuer night at strip clubs, hot men(who will she chose?), shadow creepers(not to mention one sitting on her throne?!), and kicking butt with guns blazing or in this case shadows! My kind of story with the hilarious wit and sacrasm I love. I have found my new best friend! Another great book! (Can be a stand alone read, but I highly suggest Blood Slaves first).

I just loved Hoffmann's first book, but I love this one even more!! The Noble sisters are so amazing. They are immature more of the time, but that just hides the fact of how deadly they truly are. They seem to have their father's sense of humor and you can't help but laugh while you're reading. It also has some amazing sexy scenes and the action is just non stop! I can't wait to meet the third sister and see what trouble they find themselves in next!

Loved it!

This is the second book in the series and it was awesome! Jayce is a U.S. Marshall that's out of the ordinary. She is sarcastic and totally insane when she wants to be. When she meets her sister Blake from the first book she learns a lot more then she bargained for. Join Blake, Eli, Jayce and Trent for a ride on the crazy express with a one-way ticket to hell.

Loved it 2!

I have read this book before & I thought that I had reviewed it too but, apparently not as Amazon can't find it; anyway the book, the previous book & the next book in this series are absolutely amazing!

In this book we have Jacy Noble who thought that she was just a human until she went to a crime scene & became something else. & what she's starting to become scares all the other paranormals in her life; except for the couple who already knew what she is to become.

In quite a few parts in this book you think that this might wind up being a reverse harem book as Jacy is attracted to a couple of men but this book isn't a RH book.

Jacey Noble is hilarious. I loved the banter and the way she talks with Detective Trent(werewolf and lover). I'll admit she is quirky and tends to speak out of line quite like her sister Blake but she is funnier. Apparently Jacey is a Shadow, she can control shadows and travel through shadows. Shadows are sort of known as the grim reapers and she so happens to be the queen as she has the markings of a raven tattoo on her.

There are lot of secrets and twists.

Shadow Cursed is a book you cannot miss. The story makes you keep turning the pages and want to know the whole story. Jacey is a US Marshal and she is a very good at what she does. She thinks she is normal, because she has no idea what she really is. Jacey is funny, likeable, and a very strong character. She is Lucifer’s daughter and a shadow, which makes for an awesome character. Lucifer is not the typical thought of how he would act in this book. He is funny and does some rather interesting things. She finds out through her latest investigation who she is little by little. Her partner is Trent, hot sexy, wolf that despises shadows. This story has everything in it humor, romance, action, and has a few surprises as well. I would have to say this book hooks you and does not let go! Many, who have read Blood Slaves, will get questions answered and new questions will arise as well. Not a cliff-hanger. This story is not a typical paranormal story it is packed with soo much more! I recommend this book, and if I could give it 8 stars.
