Rate this book
Gregory is eager to sell off the farm he inherited from his estranged mother—until he encounters the captivating women who also have a stake in the inheritance.

Paula Lovejoy is a passionate, diligent, and resilient single mother of two. Her adult daughter Belle not only mirrors her mother's appearance but also shares her affection for the farm. The farm is their cherished home, and both women are determined to hold onto it despite its lack of profitability. When Greg discovers the extent to which these women will go to defend their home, he decides to assist them.

However, Greg is not naturally inclined to farming and lacks any knowledge of running a farm. Additionally, he has lived alone his entire life. Is he prepared to embrace his mother's second family as part of his inheritance?

Great Storytelling

Well written with an interesting storyline. Kohen King storytelling at his best. The smooth flow of his writing makes for easy reading coupled with obvious spell and grammar checking. Proofreading was also very good with only one wrong word substituted for “thirst” in the scene where the MC was handed a bottle of water. Looking forward to book 2.

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet

I thought that this is a very nice storyline, bringing strangers together with shared experiences and tramas and how they come together to push forward. I am definitely anxious to see how the story continues.
