This book had been recommended by a site for wannabe-nurses and it was very instructive. It spoke of attitude, organization, structure, and how to prepare for nursing school. Although I have only been through nursing school orientation, I think the book was a pretty good and realistic introduction to what I can expect and I am glad a made a point of reading it. Plus it had checklists and guidelines and guides that should help me through nursing school.

I would like to commend the comprehensive insights and practical tips provided, making it a valuable resource for nursing students striving for success. The author's expert guidance on navigating the challenges of nursing school is commendable. Additionally, for those looking to enhance their knowledge further, exploring the MSN capstone topics would be highly beneficial. These topics offer a plethora of valuable information and ideas that can significantly aid nursing students in their academic journey.

Succinct and practical. Echos a lot of what she discusses in per podcast. Nurse Mo lays out a plan for you so you don’t have to figure it out on your own. This info will be time/headache saving, for sure.

Concise

And to the point. Doesn’t go super in depth but enough to feel a bit more informed about what’s to come. I liked the tips about clinicals.

I love this book. If you just got into a nursing program, Nurse Mo has been in your shoes and her empathy radiates off the pages. This book was written with 1 part warmth, 1 part motivation and 1 part pertinent information. Once I finished it, I also purchased her Crucial Concepts Bootcamp online course, which has been so incredibly helpful to remember pre-requisite information and concepts. I've never met Nurse Mo, but I feel like she was my first nursing school friend. I couldn't recommend this more for new nursing students.
