About the author

Jack Flynn

26 books44 followers
Jack Flynn co-writes dark billionaire military romance with Lainey Ray.

Jack is a former military man with a sharp mind, a devilish smirk, and a habit of taking control—in fiction and otherwise. He likes his books like he likes his combat strategies: fast-paced, explosive, and leaving no survivors. When he’s not crafting tactical missions and deadly antiheroes, you can find him reading action thrillers, watching war movies, or engaging in other kinds of action we won’t discuss here.

Jack brings the precision, the danger, and the raw intensity to every Jack & Lainey book. He knows exactly how to build a hero who commands a room, claims a woman, and takes down anyone who dares to stand in his way.

Rumor has it, Jack never loses control … unless Lainey’s involved.

The Commander deepens the Dominion Hall world with a blend of danger, emotional intensity, a hurricane named Arden, and a refreshing cultural twist. The MFC — a concert harpist — brings a unique energy to the story, balancing grace with grit. Opposite her is an MMC who embodies strength and commitment, yet reveals a vulnerable edge exactly when it counts, making their dynamic both compelling and deeply human.

The intrigue remains sharp, the pacing tight, and the series arc continues to build with confidence. This book intertwines personal stakes with the broader Dominion Hall storyline in a way that feels natural and satisfying. It’s a strong, atmospheric installment that adds depth, danger, and artistry to the series.

Fans of the earlier books will be fully hooked.

Strings of Command 🔥

Atlas Dane is a force to be reckoned with, and Anna Peters is a talented harpist who's not looking for complications. Yet, their paths cross, and the attraction is undeniable. Their story is a slow-burning fire that ignites into a passionate romance. I loved watching them find solace in each other amidst the mystery surrounding Department 77. The storyline is engaging, with new characters and plot twists that keep you invested. Atlas and Anna's chemistry is electric, and their love story is a true highlight of the book. I'm excited to see what's next in the Dominion Hall series! 🤓

Finally! Book 3 audio book came out!!!! Amazing. Love the narration and the story continuation with the character cameos *chefs* kiss. I highly recommend reading in order. I know these series always say interconnected stand-alones but theres so much that happens that trickles into each one and you miss it if you don’t read in order. Even if it is tiny stuff… it’s the little things that matter. FANTASTIC series so far. Spice and tension built sooo good you will drool all over your choice of reading material. Somehow the plot and continued hidden secrets of dominion hall keep un raveling so well. Anxiously waiting for audiobook 4.

Atlas=No Words

I literally don’t have enough words, correction the right words to describe what I just read. My heart is so full reading Atlas and Anna (Anya’s) story. These two simply stole my breath. Atlas, whoooooo I can’t even. My heart hurt for him but mostly Atlas stole my heart. I think usually the ones that steal your heart or your breathe when reading is the quiet, silent, brooding types. Atlas holds the title here. His depth of thinking, shooooo weeeeee. I love love love Atlas.
Anna is a powerhouse diva. She knows what she wants and she don’t deter from that. I love that about her.

Can’t wait to read 4

Commanded

Atlas, a silent warrior who has walls built around his heart thicker than a vaulted door of steel until….. one beautiful harp strung note commands his attention. By the end of Anna’s stunning “harp” felt performance the door to Atlas’ heart is open. What comes next is a beautiful, passionate, pulse pounding romance different but as profound as the two brother’s love stories before his. A great addition to this series of brothers who put family before their billions and all the other distractions of life.

Atlas and Anna cross paths at a Charleston party where she is entertaining the guests as a harpist.
And the theme of instant connection and sexual encounter continues.
Atlas is determined to walk away to protect his heart after his previous lover left him standing at the altar. But, Anna has a different idea and seeks him out. Again, Department 77 plays a role in the storyline.
Throw in Anna's ex-fiance, her parents who immigrated from Russia and a hurricane and you'll be on the edge of your seat as their love story unfolds.

My biggest issue with these books is that they literally meet and are in love in one day I’m so over that, like for men who are so secretive over their lives it’s crazy. You’ve known her for two days and you’ve spilled all the family secrets but go off ig. This one was okay, I liked Atlas. Anna was fine nothing too crazy but I would have liked to have known what happened with her and the Philharmonic I’m sure the next book will let us know but. Also Alta’s tracking all these people down to just believe this random ass guy ??? Wild

I get lost.

The writing style is so beautiful that no matter how brutal the action gets, it’s a bit like floating into a dream. These characters are so intensely real that I look for them or for aspects of their world when I read other fiction. It’s easy to confuse the stories with memories of something I’ve heard before.

I also appreciate the quality editing. Too many times the kindle unlimited books are rushed online with so many errors that the story loses its flow.

A needed a read that hit that military man mindset. The author let's you see that with Atlas. Him and his Daine brothers are known. They can be ruthless when they need to be. But the second He meets Anna no one else exists and he will protect and her and her family with his mind, soul and body if it requires that. The other thing about him once he lays claim its over for her..she ia totally undone by Him.in the best possible way of course lol

I like Atlas better than Marcus lol. Love the mix of mystery, spice and they way the story flows throughout each book. Atlas is a man of few words, but he can certainly communicate with Anna 😉

“What, exactly, do I look like?” “Like someone who lifts very heavy things and throws them over mountains.”

I like this book the most out of the series so far. Anna is a classically trained harpist. Atlas is the quiet, intelligent, and well read Dane brother. He hears Anna play and is instantly drawn to her. I like that they feel a little deeper than just the physical attraction. It is still very spicy but feels like it has more story.

3rd book in the Dominion Hall series and I think my favorite. I liked Atlas and Anna, did not like the narrators accent for her though. Again I liked how once again story takes place seamlessly from the one before. The way to story continues to evolve is good, again nothing mind blowing but not terrible.

4 ⭐️ because I read this really fast and did enjoy it but I feel like it could have been deeper? More character development, more story information.. I did like it but everything just happened super fast. If you don’t like insta-love, this isn’t for you haha but if you want obsessive love that hits hard and fast, this fits!

Powerful, Passionate

So far in this series, this is my favorite book. The powerful pull between Anna and Atlas. The love, the danger and omg the passion between them is amazing. Each book we get a little closer to the truth. I did not ice less repetition in this book then the first two. Hopefully it continues.

This book is part of a series. I love the way the authors write. Some of the phrasing is just wonderful. LOVE it. There are very enjoyable characters, intense suspense, and a romance that winds through the whole story to a happy ending. It is very entertaining!

Another good one from the series

I definitely like the continuation from the previous stories. I like that there isn't a huge overview of the previous books but enough to remind you. I will say this is another good pool or beach read.

Idk how these brothers just getting better. But they do 🥵 I absolutely love Atlas. He blew away his brothers. His protectiveness of Anna right from the start was swoon worthy. I’m so glad I came across these books on audible and I can’t wait for the rest of the series.

need a new word.

Slow story or lack of story and the word reverence was used so many times it was gross. The first two books in the series were decent with lots of action. This book was just lacking.

Whirlwind

This series started out with two of the most amazing books and stories and characters in plots. I guess every series has one of those bucks and I think this is it. It’s hard to explain this book was just a whirlwind and I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

obsessed with this mmc

Loved Axel in this book. Listened to the included audio book and didn’t mind the narration but the accent for the female MMC took some getting used to.
